As others have reported, the straps are really long. I figured out a way to tie a little knot at the bottom where it hits the dress in the back and it was perfect all night long. The asymmetrical skirt is striking! Would rent again.

This is the 2nd time I've rented this dress through Unlimited. It's a great style, thick denim fabric, and the tassels add a little flare. The pic online looks grey but it's a dark denim blue. Only problem this time was that the 2 hook and eyes that hold the front closed were damaged; the "eyes" are just a few loops of thread and both of them need repair. I secured with safety pins so I could still wear it.

I was surprised when I opened this dress, but in a good way. It's hard to tell from the model pics, but the dress is two layers - the outer layer is thick, blue and white, with a lace-like cut out pattern all over; underneath is a lighter weight blue silky fabric that shows through the lace cut outs. I got compliments all day because this dress is so unique. Unfortunately, it runs very large. I'm normally a 4 and wore the 2 but it was still big and a little long, at 5'3" it fell mid-knee. The other issue was that the neckline didn't lay flat, it folded in at the opening so I was constantly adjusting. A fun wear, but not sure I'd rent it again.

This was my first Draper James experience and I LOVED it!! The swans are adorable and helped to perk me up on a day when I needed a little oomph at work. I knew I would like the pattern, but I was even more impressed with the quality of fabric and the fit. It could not have been a better shape for me, nipped in at the natural waist, and with a fun wrapped-like skirt. The fabric is heavy enough that it stays down even on windy city streets. This is the perfect dress for RtR Unlimited because I will definitely rent it again, but it is too memorable to have in my own closet.

I rented this for weekend attire and wore it out to dinner with girlfriends paired with white jeans and platform espadrille sandals. The top is supposed to be oversized, I understand, but it was enormous. It looked okay while I was standing, but when I sat down it drooped and I feared it would fall down altogether. There are gathers on the shoulders that look like they should be elastic, but there is virtually no stretch and since it was big it just felt like it was going to fall off. Really unfortunate because it could be a very cute top if it wasn't so big!

This is such a cool dress, the quality and color are great, but the fit was strange on me and it just wasn't going to work. I ordered the small, thinking it might be a little snug. Even without a bra it was hard to zipper and it wasn't flattering. I'm not sure I could have worn a strapless bra since the side below the strap was very low and I felt exposed. My hips are a bit curvy right now and I think you need to be more straight and narrow for this dress. This would be a really fun and stylish dress on the right person!

I wore this for one of the nights of my bachelorette weekend and felt amazing! As other reviewers mention, it's more purple than blue and the fabric is thick (read: it hides and smooths nicely).
