Breezy and summery

Head turning
Cut and color are great and attention-getters. Fabric is wetsuit material, which on the one had is stretchy and makes a super structured dress very wearable, but on the other hand doesn't breathe, and the thick seams around the arms and shoulders bothered me increasingly during the day. Very glad that I wore it once, but this one would be hard to repeat any time soon. Which makes it a perfect RTR rental.

Cute pattern, good fabric, but SO short
I like the fabric, I like the pattern, sleeves are cute, but this is so, so short. I decided it was okay with tights, but I'm second-guessing that decision. It's also very short-waisted. (I'm 5'9").

Comfortable but forgettable
Very comfortable to wear (not shocking for an a line sweater dress), but just doesn't feel special. This is a dress that I would have bought before RTR came into my life, and now I'm barely lukewarm on it. Also shorter than I expected, but just fine with tights.

Solid work dress
The fabric is very pretty and the cut is good, although I'm a little lukewarm on the puffed sleeves. But Anne of Green Gables would heartily approve. I'm not in love, but I have no real complaints.

Light, bright and easy
Internal monologue My closet, 6:05 am EDT Looking at dress on hanger Huh. It's very... orange. And a little stiff? I'll just send it back without trying it on. I'll wear this navy blue sheath dress instead. Just need to find some shapewear... ugh. Shapewear. I don't want to. Maybe I should try on the orange dress? Just try it. *puts dress on* I can always put a navy cardigan on to tone it down... but I kind of like it? It's flattering. Definitely don't have to wear anything restricting with it. The skirt is fun. I'm definitely wearing this today. Oooh, it has pockets! And it makes my waist look small. I kind of want to keep it forever.

I want to like this so much more than I actually do. It's good in theory.
I love a wrap dress and I love a navy and white polka dot, so I should love this dress, but I don't. The fit is weird: it's neither too big nor too small, but the top wants to gape open all the time. I solved this with a safety pin and a slip, but I feel constantly at risk of coming undressed. Other things to note are that the polka dots have a red half-outline and are kind of teardropped shape, and there's a horizontal seam at the hips that creates a weird line (on me). Not my favorite.

Feeling French
The fabric is gorgeous. The color is purple, which surprised me a little-- I thought it was navy or maybe indigo from the picture on RTR. The fit is flowy and forgiving.

Fabric is a good weight. Hem is lined in black, which is a nice touch. Full skirt is an easy fit. But no pockets. Why no pockets?

Totally okay, but not a favorite
This runs large -- I normally wear a 12 (which translates to an XL) but ordered a large instead, and the waist is looser than I would like. The fabric is stretchy and a good weight, but the texture feels a little cheap. This is totally serviceable, but I'm going to send it back after wearing it once, and I'm not going to feel super sad about parting with it.

Colorful and comfortable
The fabric is beautiful. The full skirt makes it a little dressier than many wrap dresses, but also makes me look a little rounder than other wrap dresses. It has pockets, which is nice. Overall, i enjoyed this one, but not sure that i will rewear before sending it back.

Cute but capacious: tall girls with curves, this one is for you
I've worn this to work several times, as well as to a casual party. It's cute, comfortable, and a little interesting without being overdone. My husband loved it. Beware that it runs huge. I usually wear a 12 and ordered a 12 in this, and could have gone at least a size smaller, maybe 2. This is very, very generously cut in the chest. My chest is not generous, so i closed it with a safety pin to make it work. (You can see this in the photo). If i hadn't pinned it, it would have gaped to my waist no matter how tightly I tied the sash. It's also quite long -- I'm 5'9" and it's well below my knee. All that said, I really liked wearing this one.

Perfect work-to-fancy benefit dress
I felt so cute wearing this. I wore it with a navy blazer for work, then took the jacket off to go to a charity benefit event in the evening, and got compliments at both. The floral is amazing, and the fabric is beautiful. I usually wear a 12 (which correlates to a 48), but felt just fine in the 46 in this -- my hips are usually what drives the size that I need, and the skirt on this dress is very full, so just need to fit waist and bust, in which I'm more of a 10.

Interesting version of a work staple
I love a good navy dress. This qualifies, and the texture is interesting. The fabric is very heavy and, as the name implies, stretchy. I have way too much room in the chest and armholes, which isn't shocking -- I'm very much pear shaped -- but makes it a less than perfect fit for me. I've solved for the problem by wearing a black tank slip underneath, and it's totally workable.

The fabric and colors are stunning -- size up if you have hips
I'm so sad that this doesn't fit. I normally wear a 10 or 12, depending on cut, and the 12 was way too small for me, but the fabric is so beautiful that I'm tempted to size up and try again. The cut is very straight and seems to me to be narrow in the hips and bum (where I am not narrow). The detailing is interesting, and I just can't get over how light and pretty the silk is. If you have a relatively straight build, you should rent this!

Good work basic
I was worried that this wouldn't fit me well, given that the cut is pretty straight and I'm pretty pear-shaped, but it does and it's actually much more flattering than some of the cuts that I usually default to. Look at RTR opening my mind! Professional and perfect for the office. I've worn this several times.

I feel totally fabulous.
I'm wearing this to work, and I love it. It's very office-appropriate, flattering and the color is fantastic. The fabric is heavy and drapes well. The cut definitely runs big -- I'm normally a 10 or 12, rented a 10 and I think I could have done an 8. But loving it anyway.

Love the peacocks! A happy dress on a gray day.
The fabric is beautiful, and everyone loves the peacocks. The dress is comfortable and easy to wear, but needs a belt for shape. (There's a fabric tie included, but it's just a black fabric strip, so I subbed in a belt). It's not clear to me if the sleeves are supposed to be long sleeves or 3/4, but they're definitely 3/4 length on me. The ruffle at the bottom is kind of reminiscent of a dust ruffle. Overall, I'm not sure that it's terribly flattering, but it's really fun, and wearing it is making me happy.

Cute and comfortable. Preppy but fun.
This dress is very comfortable, and I feel good in it. Plenty of fabric in the wrap, so I feel well covered. I'm wearing a black slip underneath, so there's coverage if necessary, but it doesn't seem as low cut on me as it did in other photos. Love the diagonal stripes -- it's bright and fun, but flattering.
