I rented this dress originally to wear to work, but ended up throwing on some knee high boots and wearing it out on a Friday night. It was super cute. It was a bit large even and the arm holes were a bit big so you have to be careful about the bra you wear. It was comfortable and got lots of compliments. I think I will keep it and wear to work on Monday. I got this dress as part of my unlimited subscription. 

Positive experience from start to finish. Wore strapless bra; wore size 10 a perfect fit; gives a slender look & compliments did not stop all night..

This dress runs big, it's not terribly structured and those style dresses usually end up looking like a sack.  But this has enough weight, stretch, and style to make it super chic and unique yet cool and comfortable enough for a day trip walking around NYC in 90 degree weather.  It isn't the most flattering dress I've ever worn but all the other factors make up for it. Would definitely rent again and maybe even buy it.

Classic flattering dress

This can be dressed up or down. I wore it to a business-formal event. Loved the pockets and ease of wear. It's a nice thick material. 

This dress was perfect for work. Classy and cute and very comfortable. Looked very large in the hanger, but it fit perfect and true to size.  Definitely suggest renting it!

This simple dress was perfect for a conference. It was comfortable and nice but casual enough to wear all day and out to dinner. Fit nicely, a little loose which was comfortable for the whole day wear.

I LOVE this dress. Everything about it is perfect. The material is very high quality, the cut fits just right, and it has pockets.

The dress was surprisingly long given the snug fit up top, but that made it good for work. The fabric is such high-quality. The buttons are classic but a little bold. And the pockets are a bonus. I want to buy this dress.

Loved this dress! Wore it with a black shirt underneath, and got tons of compliments. Runs big, I wore an 8 but could have easily done a 6. Very comfortable material, heavy and falls well. Will rent again for work!

This is a super cute dress for work. I usually wear a size 10, but picked up this dress from the RTR store in what I thought was a size 8...turns out I am actually wearing a size 6 - its a little snug around the hips, but overall very comfortable, so I would suggest sizing down (maybe just one size down though!)

I have received a ton of compliments and I feel really great wearing this dress (despite the face I am making in my photo!) . 10 out of 10!

Wears well. Great for hiding problem areas. Simple yet stunning and a real eye catcher. Perfect length for work. Total office wear!

I was worried that this wouldn't fit me well, given that the cut is pretty straight and I'm pretty pear-shaped, but it does and it's actually much more flattering than some of the cuts that I usually default to.  Look at RTR opening my mind!

The dress fit was amazing. I typically wear a size four, but sized down to a zero. The length, fit and pockets were perfect. At first I wasn't going to wear the dress because of the buttons, but the buttons make the classic style. This dress is a keeper. 

Loved this dress and got lots of compliments.  One drawback was that the squared armholes were a little deep (by design, and a cute detail) and I had to try different bras underneath to not look too obtrusive.  Would wear again!

Love this dress very comfortable material and fit just right. usually i'm concerned about length but was very appropriate. I would recommend. 

Perfect dress! Great for work or the weekend. Dress up with heels or down with sandals. Love the buttons on the side, they are super cute and the pockets add a lil edge. This dress is true to size.

Wore to my son's high school graduation in Boston (May 2017). Perfect choice. Dress came to the knee on me which was what I had hoped, ran a little large, top quality fabric, very well-made. Normally wear 8 but 6 fit amazing. Suggest getting your normal size and sizing down for second option. Pair this with Zac Posen navy / red / cream wristlet that was just enough to accentuate the navy dress and cream enamel side buttons. Only minor issue was armhole area was squared and low so every now and then my nude bra could peek through. You might want to find a lower dropping one for this dress but completely minor issue. People were stopping me all over to ask about the outfit. So crazy comfortable too. Felt beautiful, cool, comfortable and proud for ceremony and dinner on waterfront afterwards. Going to watch Tory Burch sales and buy this one when it goes on sale at end of season. Would wear this again for any event, it's a keeper and a classic. Thanks, RTR! 

Fabulous for meetings all day and then out for a business dinner. Professional but fun. The dress was surprisingly heavy. The buttons are a nice decorative touch. The cut of the sleeves makes it a little different than every other dress. 

Button fell off easily, but otherwise great!

Long on me (but I'm a shorty!). Too smock like. Didn't love it but it was fine for a day at the office. I wouldn't have worn it anywhere else. 

The dress was really cute, but didn't have a lot of shape and ran really big.  It was very comfortable and the fabric had some weight to it which was nice.  The arms were cut wide so you can see a normal bra from the side.  Overall, wasn't terrible and would definitely suggest sizing down 1 size.


This is a great dress - I wore it to meetings, a cocktail party, a lunch event, and it fit right in. Speaking of fitting, the size was right on. The square sleeve was odd, but I wore a nude colored bra and it was fine. 

I loved the dress. It was cold the day I wore it, so I had tights and a turtleneck on. I got so many compliments that I am thinking of buying it. It was really comfortable. I think you could order your regular size or down. 

Loved this dress so much.  The shape is a little out of the ordinary which made it great!  But beware of buttons falling off (just pinned back on).  Pockets made it so fun.  Got tons of compliments.  

I am keeping this dress to wear again to work and possibly buying it. Nice heavy fabric. The design is cute yet professional. I'm 5'2, and dress fell just above the knees. I felt completely comfortable sitting, standing and walking around in it. I wore it with a cardigan because I thought the square armholes are weird. The second time, I wore it with a long-sleeve blouse under it, and love it even more!

The dress is very comfortable and true to size. If you're in between sizes, you could size down. I wore this to the office and to interviews.

The dress is a little roomy in the top. If you are wearing without a cardigan over it, as I did, you will need to be careful with bra selection, as the one I wore stuck out a bit at the arm holes. I loved it though. It's a great dress. I want to rent again in warmer weather so I can wear without a cardigan!
