I rented this for a gala for a local professional hockey team. The dress was really comfortable and easy to move around in. The color was really pretty too. For wise I am a 36D and I almost feel like the top was a tad big for my bust but the arm holes for well as did the waist. I do feel like it was a little boxy, but I don't think a size 12 would've fit my waist. I wore Spanx, but really they weren't needed for the dress because of the shape. The length was just past my knees and I am 5'6". I wore 4" heels and the length was still good. The zipper was sticking a bit so getting it on and off I was thankful for the little additional wiggle room in the bodice.

The overall fit of this dress was off. I am a small 36D and even with a thin bra needed a cami. The dress didn’t fit well and I couldn’t get it to wrap properly. A pin in the top didn’t even help the fit. The snap wouldn’t stay snapped due to it’s location on the dress. I don’t know if I got a miss sized dress, but this felt small and did nothing for me.

I rented this for a dinner for my husband's annual Knights of Columbus dinner and it was perfect for the event. I wore the extra large because it fit slightly better than the large and with the large there defintelt wasnt enough wrap fabric. I loved the colors of the dress, and all of the pretty feminine details, but the bust and the arm holes in the 14 were too big and the 12 fit almost perfectly, but for the event I needed the dress for (small masters degree celebration for my sister hosted by my grandma at her Country Club) the cleavage was just too much of an issue and a cardigan (tried long and short) just didn't do the trick. I would rent this dress for a romantic date with my husband or a beach wedding. I would've been able to fix the cleavage issue had the ball decor not been in the cleavage part of the dress.

I loved the colors and the fabric of the dress, but there was zero movement in the fabric and from the photo you can tell where the dress didn't fit.....the hips and the middle. I went out on a limb and ordered a 12 hoping it ran a little big, but it didn't. I selected that the dress ran TTS (which is true) and would love to rent the dress again if I lose 20lbs or they make a 14.

This dress definitely needs to be pinned if you have a smaller chest; I am a 36D and I still needed to pin it (the photo shows the dress unpinned). Pinning the dress made the lines straighter and made the dress fit better. The dress is definitely a lightweight material so it is a good choice for warm weather events, but I think it would've been easier to manipulate the fit of the dress. I ended up not wearing the dress because I had to return the other dress I had rented for the wedding (this dress was for the rehearsal) and I wanted the full credit for my order. If I had the ability to keep one dress for the rental period I definitely would've kept this dress and worn it to the rehearsal.

I rented this for a bridal shower at the Los Angeles Country Club, which has a really strict dress code so I needed something on the fancier side, but not cocktail or formal. The weight of the dress was perfect. When I initially tried it on I didn't think I would rent it again or buy it if were to go on clearance, but by the end of the day (and an hour drive) the dress really grew on me. I rated the dress 4 stars instead of 5 because of the fit; the top in the 14 was a little big and a tank top was needed as was spin at the bust wrap part of the dress. The 12 fit better in the top (I am a shallow 36D), but the arms in the 12 were too tight due to being short in the arm length. The rest of the 12 fit about the same in the skirt as the 14 so had the 12 fit in the arms I probably would've worn that and the top wouldn't have been as big as it was with the 14. I selected that this dress rubs true to size, but honestly it runs big in some places and small in others. I would consider buying this dress on clearance though and having it professionally altered.

I rented this dress for a wedding and I absolutely loved it. The pockets were super handy so I could keep my phone in them, the weight of the dress was night and overall the fit of the dress was perfect. This was the first dress where I didn't even need to try on the back up dress (the 14) so it does run a bit big in my opinion, but not enough to wear I would've needed to size down to a 10. I thought the dress was super flattering and I will definitely rent (or buy) this dress again.

I rented this for the annual Junior League dinner and it just wasn't for me. My husband and kids loved it on me, but I felt it was just a little too short (picking up anything would've been a disaster!), I felt it created a bit of a uni-boob effect so definitely a better dress for someone with a fuller chest. If the dress would've been about 2" longer I probably would've worn the size 12, as the size 14 was a little too big. I ordered this for a bridal shower at a fancy restaurant in Los Angeles (The Garden Bistro) and it was great. The only part of the 14 that fit a little big was the arm holes, but it wasn't enough to not wear the dress. I wore a fuchsia bolero cardigan with it and it looked great. I also loved that I could wear my dark red shoes with and the colors matched well. I had to drive an hour in a little traffic to get to the shower and it it was very comfortable. I did wear a Spanx high waisted short and it looked great. I opted for the shorts instead of the slip because of the angle of the bottom of the dress. My DH loves the dress and I would love to buy this one if it ever goes on sale. Great dress. I could've worn this with a black patent heel to make it a little dressier.

Lovely well made dress, but this dress runs small. This dress was sent to me when RTR couldn't send me my original dress in a size 12. I wear a 14 in most of the RTR stuff I order, but still request a 12 back up just in case. The shoulders were tight. The bodice was a little tight and I couldn't get the dress up past my bra strap. The dress neckline was tight as well. The waist if I had a 14 or 16 would have fit better. If you want this dress I highly rec. ordering it a size up an maybe even two sizes up.

This dress was a replacement selected by Rent the Runway when the original dress I ordered couldn't be shipped. I was given this dress without any consultation or notice from RTR. Had it fit I am not sure I would have even worn it because it is for a wedding and I am not sure the light lavender in the dress was enough to make it look "not too white." The bust was too big, I could see this dress working for a 36-38D or maybe even a larger DD bust. I am a 36C and it was big all over. The waist was too big as well. I am a 12/14 and this was huge. I could have tacked a lot of the material back for a more fitted waist. The length of the dress was fine and I am 5'6" barefoot. The dress is pretty, just not something I would have chosen for myself.

I wore this dress for a Junior League awards and installation dinner with a fiesta theme, The dress was comfortable even though it didn't have a lot of give. The only slight fit issue I had withe the dress was that it was a little loose on top and would probably fit a small C cup a little bit better than my small B cup. The length of the dress was perfect too, and I was wearing 3" heals. I couldn't get past the yellow strip of material (reminded me of a swimsuit) so I pinned it under and it stayed pinned the entire time. I would rent this dress again for a daytime wedding or party without a second thought. I would also rent the same style of dress if it came in other patterns or colors. My only other suggestion is to slip into the dress, not pull it over your head as when pulled over your head the dress isn't as smooth as when you step into it.

This was the back up dress when the Carmen Marc Valvo dress didn't fit. It was a very comfortable dress to wear and I got a lot of compliments on it, however it was a little wide at the bust line (as I am a 36B), and a little wide in the waist, but not enough to look like a true sack on me. A belt might have helped, but I didn't want to detract from the prettiness of the dress. I would definitely order this dress if they had it in a regular 14, but for being a last minute selection when the first dress didn't fit I was very happy with it. So close to being a 4 star dress!

I could have easily worn the 12L had there been a bit more room in the bodice as it for my hips and butt fine, however the top was tight across my bust, which is a 36B/38B (and in this case a 36C in the Chantelle strapless bra---runs small!) depending on the brand of the bra. I could have also maybe gotten away with the 14R because at just 5'6" this dress even with a 3" heel for me was just a little long. The good news is that the back of the dress did stretch a bit as the night went on, but I am not sure I would rent the same dress again. If you do rent this dress in the summer be warned it is on the heavy side.
