Rented for a bridal shower and the dress fit perfectly! I am usually a 2 in dresses, but I rented a 0. It was very long, and even with a short heel, the dress was touching the floor. I have a small upper body, and the tightness of the top was adjustable (you can make it as small as you want), which made this fit perfectly.

I got this as part of my first RTR Update shipment and really loved it. Wore it out to dinner twice (may have been a little too fancy but it worked out ok). The fabric is silky and I love the pattern mixing. The dress fit true to size and you can tie the top layer as tight as you'd like to adjust the fit. I couldn't wear a bra because the back dipped pretty low. 

I really like this dress even though I probably could've sized down and it did wrinkle a bit. I'm 5'7" and with small heels the back just touched the ground. 

It's a cute dress! The silk-like/soft material makes it a light and flowy feeling. I'm typically a size 6 but the 4 fit me better. I would size down as your back up. 

Very fun chic dress with a little twist. I loved the top in the cut and the color. The mixed patterns are amazing and this fabric is beyond luxe. Wish I owned. 

I'm usually a size 2 or 4 and the size 2 is def the way to go. The tie in the back makes it easy to fit it perfectly. The silk and the prints are lovely. I'm 5'8" and the back of the dress would've hit the ground without a heel. I wore heeled boots and it was perfect height. The front of dress is shorter than the back. I would wear this again in the spring/summer. It's got a more casual vibe tho. Perhaps if I wore it with heeled sandals, it would've been dressier. But def has a relaxed Cali vibe. 

Gorgeous dress that was easy to pack and comfortable to wear. A bit slim through the hip which is the only downside.

The silk is so soft- the front is shorter than the back and I'm 5'2 and the length looked good- although the back dragged on the floor. It shows your figure so nicely when the wind blows and you're walking outside - my husband said it reminded him of an Asian dress or kimono so I didn't wear it too often. 

Well made. Nice silky fabric. Comfortable. Does accentuate belly area, but okay with the right underwear. 

I was just tall enough to wear with flats.

The fabric and fit of this dress was great! I loved the top detail with the long tie down the back! When it got a little cool outside I put a thin black cardigan on and used the tie with the sweater to tie at my waist. Very Cute! I had no problems with the straps slipping  or any other issues. Overall it was a pretty dress that I enjoyed renting!! 

I loved the colors and the fabric of the dress, but there was zero movement in the fabric and from the photo you can tell where the dress didn't fit.....the hips and the middle. I went out on a limb and ordered a 12 hoping it ran a little big, but it didn't. I selected that the dress ran TTS (which is true) and would love to rent the dress again if I lose 20lbs or they make a 14. 

I purchased this dress instead of read it and I've been very very pleased with the dress it is an absolute gorgeous dress. I've already worn it several times for several functions. I picked up Several items on their sale part of the site and absolutely love picking up designer clothes at great prices out you need to give it a try for the rental and also don't forget about looking at purchasing some of their lightly used garment. I wore this for engagement photos. It is loose fitting so recommend your normal size. I'm 5'7 and regular length was perfect with 3 inch heels. I did have to steam the wrinkles before wearing.

Great dress, received a to on compliments, soft silky fabric, great cut and style.

The fit is perfect, However, everyone that saw it on me, wishes it did not include the second piece on top.  

Absolutely loved this stunner from Elizabeth and James. It fit in all the right places and was very flattering. It was however a little big in the waist area for me, which would lead me to rent a size down next time around. Also didn't need to wear a bra with this which was extra convenient on a hot summer day

This dress was stunning!  Silky fabric, unique style, varying lengths, and a great bow.  However, it took 3 of us to figure out how to get it on.  If you rent this dress, be sure it looks like the image on this site BEFORE you attempt to put it on.  Once I figured it out, it was quite simple.  It just arrived a bit twisted so we were confused.  I wish I would have gone a size down because the top can appear to be a bit loose.  Overall, this was was fabulous, and if I bought one piece, it would be this dress.  I received tons of compliments!

I rented this as part of my unlimited package and LOVED it.  I wore it like 3 days in a row for different events because I loved it so much.  The little black and white "bib" like thing covered up cleavage area the right amount so it was still very sexy without being super revealing.  I would rent again.  

Super cute with heels, I wore with a jean jacket during the day and swapped my jacket for a shaw at night. 

The chest / top part is incredibly flattering. Loved the fluttery cut at the bottom. Beautiful movement when walking. 

If I only had one dress to buy, and the money to buy it... this would be the one!
I felt like I was wearing my pajamas, while receiving the most compliments ever.  Winning combination!


Wore this for my baby shower. I was 25 weeks and just sized up. I loved the dress and would where again even if not expecting. 

I loved so much about this dress - the fabric, mixed patterns, cut were all amazing. The top overlay piece is hard to get to lay flat because of the way the straps work; just takes a little time to get it right.

This dress is a silky, fun everyday or date night dress. I ended up wrapping the tie that is shown in the back all the way around my waist one more time. The top straps are a bit big, but not enough to not wear. Overall, pretty and interesting dress. 

It was a little to large and a little too long for me, but I made it work. Fun and summery!

I should of ordered the 8. Still loved this dress! Received so many compliments 

Material is quite thin and unforgiving for any "texture" . Dress is quite pretty but took a bit of fussing to get it to look like the picture. 

I'm really into pattern mixing right now and loved the pattern mix on this dress. The material is light and silky. The dress was longer in the front on me than it looks on the model. It wasn't the best fit for me because it was tighter in the hips and looser in the waist and my body is the opposite. 

Wore it to the mall- Nice length and very comfortable. It is a cute maxi dress. Nothing spectacular.

Dress was made with a beautiful fabric. It showed too much of my mid-section problem area so I did not wear the dress. It is also very hard to figure out how to get your arms in the dress. 

This dress is very good at removing attention from the belly area if that is not your best feature. However, I recommend having the picture in front of you when you put it on. The overlay top slides on the straps and takes a bit to figure out where it should be. It was also a little tight through the shoulders, but mine more broad than most.

pretty.  fit wasn't great for my height.  

im 5'1" usually a size 2-4 and this did not fit at all, in either size. it dragged on the floor, with heels on. also very unflattering, not form fitting in my normal size. a little boxy. the material is really nice and silky though.

I'm 5'1, and it worked well on length, the size 0 fit great, and the pattern is pretty.  The only problem is it wasn't  flattering in the tummy area.  I'm petite but my stomach is pretty average now (mom here!) and this dress ever so slightly accentuated the tiny bit I had, and in shiny, silky material (not good).  If you have a very flat tummy or don't mind a little notice there - then it might work for you.  For me, I couldn't get past that.
