Compliments all day
Great dress. Soft fabric. Nice drape. Despite the fact it came w no belt and right sided belt loop was ripped, I still loved this dress. Use your own belt and prepare to be complimented.

Great work dress
This is a flattering dress for work. It is definitely an autumn dress. True to size. Hem is above the knee but not too short. I wore w tights. Interestingly it has a knit neckline which makes it less dressy than it could be. I could see this fabric getting pulls in it although it was in excellent condition for me. Would rent again.

Cute but fabric is not amazing
The overall style of this dress is cute. Sort of a Mad Men mod look. The fabric has a lot of stretch to it, you should definitely size down if you want a more fitted look. I wish the fabric had more of a luxe look to it.

Nice dress, not the right size
This is a really cute dress. I think I sized up too much. I am a size 4+ and got the 42, as the 40 was not available. Between it running true to size to a bit large, the cut of the dress is such that it does not look streamlined. I love the fabric and the pockets for sure. If you are between sizes, definitely size down. Again, pockets, ladies!

Gorgeous dress
This dress is gorgeous. Flowy and fluttery. I would say it runs a bit small, especially right at the waist line which has zero stretch. I am a size 4+ and got the 6 (4 not available) and the 6 fit great. The dress is longer that you might think so unless you have very long legs, high heels are a must. Really nice.

I got this to wear to a black tie optional event. The dress is 100% appropriate for that. What it is not appropriate for is for me to wear it. As other reviewers stated, the fabric hides NOTHING-- not the tiny bow on the front of your undies, not the suggestion of your muffin top. Nada, zilch. I'm a size 4 and this dress was too much for me. The style is gorgeous, though. The fabric is a very thick stretchy satiny material. Cushnie et Ochs is the bomb, but this dress was not for me.

I got this dress to wear to work. The fabric is matte silk. As you can see, while it's not wrinkly, it's not uber smooth either. It was perfectly fine for work and as part of your Unlimited for a chic and well rounded work wardrobe, but I don't see it as an event or party dress.

Nice LBT with an edge
I got this dress for a rehearsal dinner. As usual, Carven runs VERY small, a combination of their intricate tailoring and the fact that the don't use fabrics with stretch. Do consider sizing up one (or even two) sizes. This dress is made of a crepe material. It is really cool and edgy, a twist on a standard little black dress. I think it is too short to wear to work. I would get it again for a party setting.

Festive and fun, tons of compliments
I got this dress and wore it to two different weddings. I am almost (not quite) between sizes and decided to size up (as part of my unlimited) to avoid any hoochie factor. I could have gone w my regular size without much of an issue. The dress is cut on the bias and was forgiving of being a bit large; it would have hugged curves more otherwise. This dress was very comfortable and fun to wear. My husband loved it. I would 100% rent again.

Pretty pattern
The pattern and colors are very pretty. The fabric is substantial (unlike some older DVF classic wrap dresses). There are pockets!!! This dress seemed a full size small for me. I didn't want the girls to hang out and/or have the waist so tight, so I sent it back. I would consider renting it again one size up. If you are getting a backup size, for sure SIZE UP.

I got this Marni dress for work but it is also appropriate for a wedding/ garden party. It is a light to medium weight cotton. Fully lined. It does not show that well in the stock photo but the dress is a-line (a long a-line). It is beautifully tailored. I like it so much I am considering buying it. I would for sure rent this again!

Gorgeous dress!
I love this dress. The fabric is lustrous. The style is very flattering, a crossover in the front but not dangerously low (i.e. should keep the girls in without a safety pin). The waist has an interesting, structured detail. However, I forgot that Carven tends to have structured/ unstretchy waist lines with ZERO give, and I didn't size up. I will definitely rent this again... one size up!

Cool girl top!
I cannot tell you how much I (heart) this Tibi top! It is exactly the right mix of edgy and clean style. The fabric is a fine pima cotton. The rusched areas are smocked (stretchy). The front part is lined. I wore it with jeans to a bistro. You could easily dress it up with a skirt and heels. It is true to size. I would rent this again and would consider buying it. Love, love LOVE!

Great work frock
This is a great dress for work. The fabric is on the heavier side (in a good way, not flimsy). The sleeve ties are a bit bulky; you won't be able to wear a blazer or a slim cardigan over it (or even a slim coat). I would rent it again.

I love this dress!!! I wore it both to work and to a holiday party. The dress is lined and structured without being overly form fitting. It runs true to size (sometimes Marni runs big but that is not the case with this dress). I got many compliments, as the fabric is very pretty. Would rent again for sure!

This is a nice looking top. It is work appropriate. The peplum is very forgiving. However, despite other reviewers saying otherwise, this top runs about a half size small. Also, the wool fabric is unlined. I'm not sure whether I would rent it again because of the lack of lining.

Rent the Runway Unlimited is the best addition to my wardrobe, EVER
I rented my first RTR dress for a gala event one month ago on the recommendation of a friend. That experience (dress, second size, backup style) was seamless. Because of that, I looked into Unlimited and immediately signed up. I've been a member for around a month and am sold on the concept... as well as the reality. There are many beautiful designer items available for rent. Sometimes when you first look they are unavailable, but if you check back in a day or so, many times the item is suddenly there in your size. The shipping is very fast. I would say that for me, the items have arrived within 4 days. You can keep things for a day or for longer. For someone who typically spends a lot of money on designer clothing and prefers shopping online, Unlimited is perfect. The items are very well curated for a variety of fashion tastes. I tend towards edgier designers, and Unlimited has them in spades. If you typically spend even $2000 a year on clothing, you will realize that with Unlimited you are saving a lot of money to have a greatly expanded wardrobe. In that context, the cost is very reasonable... possibly even cheap. The items are maintained in very good condition. For several of my selections, the original tag is still on the item (as, brand new!). Don't hesitate to join. Rent the Runway Unlimited is the best addition to my wardrobe, ever.

I chose this dress for a work dinner event. The fabric has a printed pattern. The fabric is very thick and has a lot of stretch. The dress definitely runs small. I can fit into my true size but it does highlight curves big time. To be more work appropriate, I went up one size; the upsized dress is in the photo. I love this dress!

I got this dress as a backup for an event. It fits true to size. The length is on the long size, so you may need to bust out your highest heels (which no one will see due to dress length). The color is a rich dark forest green, and the fabric is a heavier medium weight crepe. The dress has pockets (yay!). My only qualm is that the dress is a little bit angular in the shoulders and in the front (the design is called envelope and it is well named). If you are interested in an edgier, modern design, i would recommend this dress.

Great first rental!
This was my first RTR rental. The dress, alternate size, and backup all arrived on time. The dress was great. It did seem a bit worn, but given that the dress is brocade, the wear was camouflaged well. I LOVED the pockets (so great, why don't more designers add pockets!?!). The color are very rich and jewel like. I liked my RTR experience so much that I joined Unlimited. Great experience! Great service!

Unusual print is a standout
This Marni dress is true to size/ slightly large. The fabric feels almost like a light cotton canvas. It is a bit boxy but in a chic way. I love that it is very stylish and not typical (aka very Marni) and is completely appropriate for work and dinners out. My husband, who usually does not remark on such things, said that he thought the dress looked really nice and fit well. I love this dress!

Casually elegant
This is a beautiful dress. The main fabric is a heavy gaberdine. The ruffle is silk. I am 5'5" and the end of the ruffle touches the ground without shoes on. This is my first Marni dress, and I ordered one size larger than my normal bc I wasn't sure but it seems Marni runs true to size; luckily this dress design is very forgiving. I originally chose something else to wear to a daytime wedding but instead I will wear this!
