I liked this dress but didn't think that much of it...until I got to work and certain people commented on it. Subtle class. 

I sized down one size and it fit perfectly. 

Fabric is medium-thickness silk. Needed an iron on arrival. Frills flutter in wind. Fabric marks easily. 

I loved this dress. I wore it to a nice restaurant on vacation and it was perfect. Classic cut and rich navy blue color. I'd certainly rent this again 

Very nice dress- quality construction. Lightweight with pretty ruffle details. Length is just above the knee on me (5'2"). Wrinkles pretty easily so would not recommend for traveling or for wearing more than one time before returning. Very comfortable! Fits a bit large but wasn't overwhelming on my petite frame.

A little baggy but great color really comfy. Love the ruffles. It's short enough that it doesn't look too frumpy even with he high neck and baggy waist. Love the material. Very soft and expensive feeling. Might be ok a size smaller but I was fine with the size I got (my usual size). I paired with a short Grey sweater and nude pumps just perfect easy work dress. 

Fabulous blue dress by Marni! We love how comfortably chic this piece is for work, everyday errands, or a quick brunch. Running large we recommend going a size down for a back up. This dress is comfortable providing room all throughout with no stretch and can worn with a standard bra. The cris cross of the ruffles provides a great element of surprise with this navy blue dress. Pair with your favorite fall boots or heels and enjoy the day!

Love this dress.  The fabric is very thin/ lightweight silk.  It sort of flutters as you walk.  It is generously sized and can easily disguise figure flaws (no love handles or tummy bulge!).  I would rent this again.

This hid my poochy stomach but the armholes were cut too deeply. I might try to get it in a smaller size (I rented a 4 but am often a 2). I think it's a good dress for a date to dinner and theater.

Needed a light ironing for sure, the ruffles looked so much better afterward.  Makes a great summer work- to-dinner dress.

Marni does such a good job on work staples with a twist. This one was great - tailored and elegant but still cool. It does wrinkle, so it's a little delicate for travel, but I still traveled with it and wore it twice. Lots of compliments. Size down. 

Elegant and a little edgy-- perfect combination for a warm night out. Loved this dress! 

Needed to steam it.  Wrinkles very easily.  Avoid if planning on sitting.  Wish I had sized down to 38.  

Dress looks really nice on - received a lot of compliments. Wore it with a cardigan, which made it look perfectly appropriate for work, but without the cardigan and with some bold earrings could have worked for a wedding or party. Definitely runs big though- I'll order a size smaller next time

This dress is very chic.  The ruffles add a nice feminine touch.  The material is pretty thin and does wrinkle quite easily.  The arm holes are a little big, so I wore a dark sports bra underneath so you couldn't tell they were gaping a little.  I styled this dress with a chrome silver belt and silver heels.  It pairs really well!  

Since I have a smaller waist and larger hips, I wanted the belt to give the dress some shape.  Otherwise it just lays flat and loose.

Great work dress with beautiful detailing and a generous, flowing fit. Marni runs large on me so I went with a 38 and it was very ample in the waist and hip.  The ruffles around the bust are lovely but they flew up in my face as I walked. I got great feedback on this dress and it looked great throughout my entire evening.

RTR has taught me that while Marni dresses may not have much hanger appeal, they are magic on the body. This dress is a perfect example - I literally felt like I was floating all day! Highly recommend!

This was such a beautiful, well-made dress, I wish I could own it. I received tons of compliments - the dress hung well and the layers of ruffling were perfectly positioned and very flattering with the high neck line. I could have sized down but didn't mind the flow of the dress at all. You must rent! 

i'm typically a 4 and have worn anything from a 36 to a 38 in marni because it runs large. def needed a 36 for this. loved the style and the color, very light weight and thin. would recommend for work, just don't hesitate to size down! was a touch long on me, hit right below my knee.

I loved this dress! I wore it for brunch and to work, with boots and with pumps, and despite the fact that it was demonstrably too big (even in the bust which is very unusual), I really loved it. If you rent this, get at least one size smaller than you normally would. I have reliably been wearing other Marni dresses in 46 (and a couple of 44s) and I could have easily fit in a 42 in this model - I had nearly 2" extra on each side at the bust. I didn't find the ruffles overpowering and while the dress does wrinkle easily, it was still one of my favorite rentals.

This is a cute casual dress. Runs a little large but that was the point of the style. Loved the color. Would not rent again but enjoyed wearing it. 

I am ~5'2" and it was a really awkward (long) length on me. I think it's a lot of fabric for any petite person.

Dress was super cute but too big.  I'm usually a 4 and the 40 didn't work - I would need a 38.  

Dress definitely runs large, rent a size down for your extra size. The dress is unbelievably comfortable but you'll need a quick steam before wear. I used my steam function on my household iron. Would rent again.

I wore this to work. The fabric is super nice, though it wrinkles easily. The armholes are a bit too big and so I had to keep my arms to my side all day to prevent my bra from showing. Overall, this is a nice everyday dress.

I wanted to love this dress - it's beautiful, and the ruffle gives it interest. Unfortunately it was too big, and wasn't flattering on my frame. 

Didn't end up wearing because it was unflattering.  

This dress doesn't just run big, it runs huge! The boxy silhouette would have been beautiful if it hadn't been so large up top that you could see my bra through the armholes... I'd recommend going 2 sizes down.

This silk dress has interesting design details. It runs large and is a bit longer than I expected. Office appropriate but not very figure hugging. 

Nothing special about the fit and the dress is made of very thin unlined fabric. 

This was sent to me as a backup to a backup dress that I had rented for a wedding. It was easily two sizes too big. I normally wear a size 12 and the size 10 was massive. Size down at least two sizes. On the upside, if you were pregnant, this would be a terrific option
