I bought it. Need I say more?
This dress is perfect. I am a size 10, moving into an 8 with some dresses these days, so this design may run a little large. Be warned there is a cut out on the side, but it is not usually noticeable while you are wearing the dress. Altho, it may determine what undergarments you will want to wear. Did I say the dress was perfect.... rent it, you will be so happy you did.

This BEAUTIFUL DVF on trend dress fit beautifully on my size 10 frame. Has DVF adjusted it's sizing?? Or, just for the Non-wrap dresses?? When I was a true size 8, I had to size up to 10's and 12's in the wrap dresses and now that I am depressingly a size 10, I size up to 12's and 14's; but I digress. This dress fit perfectly. I was so happy and excited to wear it, until I saw the large stain over the left breast. Needless to say, I packed it back up and will be returning it to the store today. I was so disappointed. Especially with RTR's QA. The dress never should have gone out. Oh well... I have been having bad luck(??!#) w/my Unlimited selections lately. I hope the streak ends soon --- I love you RTR..... buttt.... If you have the good fortune to see this dress in your size -- rent it! It is just about perfect. It can be worn to work, for date night, dressed up, dressed down, in heels, flats, running errands... The fabric is a light weight, airy silk, with decent movement. Def. NOT a dress to be worn in the Mid-Atlantic during winter. Ladies, you can wear a regular bra and I did NOT need Spanx(yay!). Even without them, my problem stomach was obscured. I love this dress. The only downside may be for you shorter girls. I am 5'7" and the length was exactly what I wanted, a true midi - at or a little below mid-calf. For someone a few inches shorter, you will likely have a maxi.

I have to say, this is dress is my FAVORITE RTR rental - rented 2x's and counting. I have gotten non-stop compliments both times. The dress is STUNNING. I am between a size 8 and 10 and have rented this dress in both - the 10 was a bit too big and the 8 a bit too tight, but still very wearable (w/the 8, I wore Spanx to pull in my trouble area - my stomach and it was perfect). Which ever size is available, I will happily wear. In addition to being GORGEOUS, this dress is very, very comfortable. I wore a strapless bra, but you MAY be able to get away with a racerback bra, I dk if the straps will peep out from the shoulder cut-outs. The material is very thick, so ladies who are more "perky" or don't mind a braless look may be able to do without. I have worn this dress in both winter weather in NYC and spring weather in Las Vegas and was very comfortable. You may want to think twice about wearing it in 95 degree, humid weather outside (I personally would still go for it....just try to keep in the shade....LOL). Also, this dress is versatile - it can go from daytime, to dinner, cocktail, wedding, funeral, church, nightclub.....the only exception may be formal/gala. I went bare-legged with heels, but imagine tights, fishnets, black or patterned stockings would work. You may even be able to get away with a funky flat. Alice Temperley, you are my fashion hero!

Could not wear. Terrible fit and style on me
I had high hopes for this jacket. Unfortunately, the fit was AWFUL on me. I am usually a size 10 and M in tops. Where to start --- the wide, large, spread collar on this jacket was unflattering on me; the jacket seemed too small in the front, when I snapped it shut, it pulled so much that I could never have worn it closed; HOWEVER, the back was so large that fabric draped and bagged there. It was as though the jacket was a small in the front and a large in the back. I am a 36C and am relatively small in the shoulders and across the back. That may account for the awful fit on me. Good luck if you rent, but I will never rent this garment again.

Did NOT work for me....
I am usually a size 10, working my way to an 8, so maybe that is why this dress did not work for me AT ALL. I was so disappointed. The shoulders stood up and gapped, it was completely shapeless to my thighs... fit somewhat ok at the tummy, thighs, and hips and then from the lower thighs down, wavy and shapeless. I THINK it was too big. I guess with the heavy scuba fabric I needed the next size smaller, but the fit was so wonky, I can't be sure. Plus, it was sleeveless.... not my favorite - I get cold and my arms should be covered for the world's sake. Good luck to you if you rent - consider sizing down and hoping the heavy scuba fabric will do it's magic.

I am a size 10, transitioning (soon I hope!) to an 8, so can't accurately comment on the fit for others, but for me it was PERFECT. It has a boho vibe. I wore it to a Christmas Eve dinner at a friend's with tights and 3" closed toe, suede pumps/heels with straps - shoes worked perfectly with the dress and tights. Booties or flats would also work great. While the dress was quite short for me at 5'7", it worked for me with the tights and lower heels. Otherwise, it would not have been wearable for ME (I am youthful, but CANNOT/WILL NOT do a mid-thigh dress and bare legs - my mini dress days are well behind me...thank heaven for tights). Notwithstanding, the dress is a fairly light weight cotton fabric and would also look great in the warmer months on someone who CAN/SHOULD be wearing a dress this short without the need for tights. Because of the dark cotton fabric, long sleeves, darling lace insets at the shoulder, dark underlining, and length - this dress is so versatile. It can be worn day or night, work, evening, or play, with heels or flats, ultra casual or moving into dressy. I wouldn't recommend it for a formal or semi-formal event, but anything else should work for you. Did I also mention that no fretting about your undergarments - it works with just about anything you are comfortable. I highly recommend (I would have given it 5 stars, but couldn't activate that 5th star on my phone or ipad) and am sure I will rent this dress again.

Might be me, but awful fit.
Ordered my usual size 10. The fit was awful on me - the top of the dress was at least 1 size too big and the sleeves were much too large and too long. Admittedly, I am smaller across my back and shoulders, but this was excessive. On to the bottom half of the dress. My "difficult" area is my stomach, so the dress was a little bit (yes, just a bit) fitted across the stomach, but baggy in the back. It is a really cute idea, but just didn't work for me AT ALL. If you take the chance on this dress and have a flat stomach (kudos), try sizing down.

Soooo...... cute....soooo....small
I have been drooling over this dress since my day 1. FINALLY, it came available in Unlimited and I ordered it....YAY!!! I THINK the largest size available was the IT46/US 10. I am in the middle of my sojourn back to a size 8 (maybe a 6.... a girl can dream...), but am a US size 10 now. What was I thinking?? I ordered the 10 and while I was able to squeeze into it and actually zip it up SPANX FREE, it was just too tight across my stomach and the pleats in the front pulled open a tad. In my defense, it bears repeating that it was SANS SPANX. I was returning another dress that actually fit and decided to just return this one too, without wearing it. It was so wonderfully cute, but I KNOW I'll be much more comfortable in the next size up. This dress is much better suited for someone who is THIN and straight up and down with no stomach and straight thighs ....In MHO. Notwithstanding, I WILL rock this dress one day... but it will have to be in the next size up (an Italian 48.... shudder, shudder) or after I drop another 10 lbs. If you love this dress like I do..... give it a try, but as I said --- consider sizing up.

Just LOVED this dress.... from moment I saw it
First, thank you Alexis and Jennifer for your photos! Sorry I couldn't return the favor this time. Thanks to Alexis' photo, I wore this slice of heaven with a thin black turtleneck (as planned when I ordered) and paired with black tights, suede booties, and embellished hoops to Thanksgiving family dinner. It was perfect for the occasion and the MidAtlantic weather. Even tho Jennifer is about my size (height, weight, etc.), I wore a 44 and was happy with the fit. Could I have gone down a size..???? I was pleased with it as is. With the turtleneck, it was not an issue. BTW - I am 5'7" and TODAY 144lbs, not curvy or particularly thin, more straight up and down, inching slowly back to slim. The fabric is very heavy, but the dress is unlined. With my tights, I went without a slip. When I wear again (and I WILL...), I may try a slip with it. I really love this dress. The shape and design are edgy and not frumpy, which is one of my biggest fears. I can see this dress in the office, with or without tights or the TN, on a date, although NOT sexy at all, shopping, out with friends, dressed up, dressed down. It is a great go-to dress. Rent it... you won't be disappointed. However, unless you are on the tall side, I can't see this dress on the ultra petite - but may be wrong. This may be one of those rare dresses that looks good on everyone. My only complaint is that the pleats on the side were not properly ironed and buckled in one or two places. I am sure it was noticeable only to me. I tend to have a critical eye.

I didn't wear the dress. It was beautiful and fit OK, but I opted for another RTR dress that was more my personal style and more flattering on me. The photo of the dress on the model doesn't do it justice - it is sparkly with metallic threaded flowers embroidered all over. It really is PRETTY. I am a size 10-ish (sometimes I am in an 8 [yay!]) and not particularly curvy, but somewhat straight up and down through the waist and hips. This dress, as pretty as the fabric is, was somewhat shapeless on me. If the waist had been sewn a bit tighter, it MIGHT have looked a bit better on me, but having curvier hips would have helped significantly. I doubt that I'll be renting this again, but highly recommend this dress as a gorgeous option for someone who is curvy or at least curvier than I am.

Perfect Dress for your Brother's Fall Wedding
This was a perfect dress for my brother's mid-November wedding in NYC. The bronze and blue heavy weight fabric is a hounds tooth jacquard and absolutely gorgeous. The bronze glimmered with metallic threads and the midnight blue was more matte. Just beautiful. I am normally a size 10 (sometimes an 8, sometimes a 12 in DVF, esp). This dress fit well almost everywhere. While relatively tall-ish at 5'7", the bodice was a tad long on me, causing a slight wrinkle in the bodice. If I owned the dress, I would just alter it by pulling up the shoulders. It wasn't noticeable and I got several compliments from my brother's friends in the fashion industry. I paired the dress with black suede heels and a black suede bag and carried a black (too) long woven shawl for warmth. I rented RTR dark blue, drop earrings, but opted for my own diamond studs when I switched to my own black shoes and bag. The next time I rent this dress, I may try blue suede shoes and bag. If you have the occasion - rent this dress. It is beautiful.

Nice Size, a bit heavy
Rented these off of my Unlimited to wear with a RTR bronze and blue dress. They matched nicely, but I opted for my own diamond studs and black suede shoes and bag (my blue shoes and bag weren't as nice...). In any event, these earrings are a lovely dark blue and a statement-worthy size, although fairly plain. They were heavy on my ears. I had to wear Lobe Wonder (an ear lobe support patch I recommend to anyone who wears large and dangly earrings ) to make them bearable when I tried them on and to keep them from drooping over. If I had the need for plain, large, dark blue glass drop earrings, I would consider renting these again.

Great Casual Jacket
Rented this jacket to wear over a cocktail dress that was bronze and midnight blue, to give it some edge. While the jacket was a perfect match for the blue, with its blackish undertones, it was just too unstructured and too much hardware for the dress and didn't work.Nothwithstanding, I will rent again when I need a great leather jacket for a casual event. I am usually an 8-10 in tops - this was a 6 (only size available), it was a small fit, but very wearable. The 8 would have been perfect.

Had to have it!
I fell in love with the pictures in the reviews and the price was very reasonable. I was searching for a dress for a National Museum of African American History and Culture opening reception. While I decided to wear another RTR purchase - not a floor length - I am still so pleased with this purchase. It is absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend.
