I wore this dress to an evening wedding—received many compliments. Wore in with my patent Louboutins. 

I didn't wear spanx or jewelry (well minimal) and felt 
great. I did wear a black strapless bra. Nice length for petite frame (5'2). Not the best photo but really stunning and felt confident and covered all night. 

I was the plus one to the FOB, and honestly felt like a million bucks! 

This is even more beautiful in person! I'm normally a size 4 but it wasn't available. I rolled the dice and was surprised the size 2 fit as well as it did. Though it was right after a big meal!

Wore to a very nice dinner date with my husband.

I felt like a million bucks! In a sea of black dresses I stood out. Plenty of looks but no one I knew said a word. One complete stranger commented on how beautiful my dress was. Kind of made laugh...I'm hooked on RTR. I ended up buying two dresses and I was so impressed with them! 

Great dress! True to size and comfortable

Note has been my favorite designer thus far. The dresses fit so perfectly that there is no need for a bra. And I’m large busted. This dress was comfortable, not itchy. The arms were not too tight. Easy zip up. And I felt super pretty! PERFECT!

I'm 5'9, 147 pounds, usually wear a 6 or 8. I chose the 8 this time, and it seemed perfect.  The sleeves run a little tight, but not uncomfortably so. 

Great dress for cocktail party or fun formal affair. The embroidery reduces the need for a lot of jewelry. Earrings will do. Strapless bra is better than flesh tone bra straps.

This dress was a little snug through the hips, but otherwise fit great. 

This isn't my first time renting a Marchesa Notte dress, it was truly gorgeous and fit perfectly since I knew my sizing of the other Marchesa dress I rented a couple years ago. The embroidery is absolutely gorgeous! 

Worn for a wedding & received many compliments. Sophisticated and romantic. Very nice quality and the embroidery detailing is lovely. I could have worn either size...1 a bit more form fitting and 1 a bit roomier. I went with the smaller size and felt great. I don't love strapless bras so I used pasties & they worked perfectly. Easy to accessorize. 

Such an elegant dress. It was really comfortable and fit well. 

I selected this dress because of the two necklines - it's both modest and a little sexy at the same time. I'm a little thicker in the torso and bust. There was plenty of room in the bust, but waist was a bit tight. But this dress is so elegant, it was totally worth it! With some supportive shareware, you'll be good to go. 

No cons to this dress.  Wore a strapless bra.  Good length on me, slightly below the knee.  Would rent this dress again.

I ordered a 6 and an 8, and ultimately wore the 8, which fit my hourglass frame like a glove. It was so snug that I didn't have to wear a bra, which is an unusual treat for a busty person, though I would order this designer in an 8 and 10 next time. The dress definitely hugs the pooch area, but it fit so well that it didn't draw undue attention. I loved the details, especially the moths and insects embroidered on the gown - perfect for the formal party I attended at a natural history museum.

I rented this for my office Christmas party in Miami and it was perfect. It's fitted but the sleeves add a bit of modesty which I appreciated around my coworkers.  The details are stunning and even more beautiful in person. 

The dress I wanted became unavailable so I chose this and one other dress for my office's black tie optional holiday party. I never wear form fitting dresses, so his was a shot in the dark with very little time to spare. I'm so glad I took a chance on it! It was the best of the dresses I rented BY FAR. So many compliments all night!  It fit in well with a mix of gowns and cocktail dresses from the rest of the crowd. The dress has very little stretch, and the mesh at the top can gap a bit, but I filled out the bust and it turned out fine. The pattern lends itself to match many reds for accessorizing. I wore a strapless bra and shapewear shorts and had no issues. Great rental and I wish I could have kept it!

I rented this dress for a formal affair and I absolutely loved it. I wore a size 0. I am 4'11 and 112 pounds. So fit perfectly. It's very classy, elegant but at the same time it's perfectly for holidays season. 

Elegant with a hint of sexy with the sweetheart neckline and sheer top. Absolutely loved the detailing and felt like a million bucks in this dress. Length was perfect on me. Paired it with a faux fur wrap, which kept me warm but also helped the outfit pop

I love this dress so much I rented it twice. It's so pretty in person. It fits great. And it's relatively comfortable. I got tons of compliments. I didn't need a bra either. Which is rare for me. The dress fits snug enough to hold it all in.

I ordered this dress for November wedding and it was perfect! The detail, fit and color of the embroidery with the details of flowers and butterfly were absolutely stunning. The dress fit like a glove in all the right places and I felt so elegant the moment I put it on. I ordered a size 6 and 8 expecting to wear the 8 due to other comments but I found the size 6 to be perfect. ( I'm on the shorter side with a full bust and the dress still fit). I wouldn't second guess this dress, I received comments all evening! I matched my lipstick and handbag to the colors in the embroidery and it worked perfectly. There is only one thing I would nit pick about the dress and it is throughout the night, the lining kept coming out about an inch at my knees, and would stay lined up with the overlay, but it wasn't so bad!



This dress worked out well for a November wedding. I wore the 6, as the 4 was snug around my waist and rib cage. It was very comfortable when sitting, eating and dancing. Got a lot of compliments on it too-

Loved this dress.  I ordered a size 4 and 6.  The size 6 fit me like a glove.  5 3 and 127 pounds  and 36 C. I would rent it again.

I rented this dress for a semi formal charity gala and received a bunch of compliments. The detail is amazing. While there were a few spots where the thread had pulled from past wearers, it was overall in very good condition. The fabric has some give, but not a ton, so I'd order up for your second size. I am small chested and have narrow shoulders and thin arms. This might not be the best choice if you are larger up top because there is not a lot of room to spare in the shoulders and arms. Overall, I highly recommend. 

Sleeves were kinda scratchy and the fit was snug. I probably should have ordered a 6.   Once I got it zipped, it was fine though. I was glad to see it wasn't too terribly long on me since I'm a short girl. 

I wore this to an outdoor, fall wedding in Eureka Springs, AR. The dress was classy but also fit right in with the quirky and unique qualities of the town we were in. It fit perfectly and I received tons of compliments. 

This is a lovely dress and extremely well made, but left me rather shapeless.  I do not have a tiny waist and I feel this dress made that obvious.  The 2 was a little loose but the 0 was just a bit too tight to wear for six-plus hours.

I am absolutely obsessed with this dress! I wore it to a black tie optional wedding, and definitely received a lot of attention while wearing this dress!
I would say it fits a little small, I'm anywhere from a size 4 or 6, and wore this dress in a size 8 - fit snug but not comfortable - easy to dance, sit, and bend in the dress. I would definitely rent this again 

Fitted around torso, loose enough around hips for comfort. Worn to a museum gala

I liked the length and colors.  It was a bit large through the waist and top for my petite frame.

It's a beautiful dress and I felt very pretty wearing it! Only issues are that it runs very small, it is hard to zip up on your own, and it does not give much so choose your size wisely...maybe go up 2 or 3 sizes from your usual.

Definitely unique with the overlay of embroidery...hard to zip but I managed (if you help it will be easy).  The overlay fits well without any loose parts ...
