I didn't wear spanx or jewelry (well minimal) and felt great. I did wear a black strapless bra. Nice length for petite frame (5'2). Not the best photo but really stunning and felt confident and covered all night.

This lovely dress was a perfect fit and exactly what I needed for this Cocktail event. I wore black/gold shoes, gold necklace and gold earrings and carried a gold clutch. I decided to forego bracelet and lots of jewelry on my hands thereby letting the dress show with the beautiful embroidered flowers.

It was perfect! I prefer to be modest so I put a black top underneath. If you want to do that, make sure it's dark black. It was super easy to pick out shoes without having the dress. I love the vibrant colors!

I felt like a doll. This was for high tea and it was a hit. It feels expensive amd wears well. Not much give. People couldnt beleive it was rented!

I rented this dress to wear for family Christmas and Christmas Eve mass. Seeing as I am 6' tall, dresses with full length sleeves often look silly on me. So I loved that this dress came with 3/4 sleeves. Made it classy enough to wear in church, too. I ended up wearing the dress with a regular nude bra because I forgot to pack a strapless. You could see parts of it in the back, but nobody commented so it must not have been terribly noticeable. I wore the 12 over the 10 - fit perfectly in the bust (36E), maybe just a touch loose in the waist but nothing egregious. Got many compliments from my aunts and cousins; even referred one to RTR she loved the dress and concept so much!

I wore this dress to an evening wedding—received many compliments. Wore in with my patent Louboutins.

I was the plus one to the FOB, and honestly felt like a million bucks!

This is even more beautiful in person! I'm normally a size 4 but it wasn't available. I rolled the dice and was surprised the size 2 fit as well as it did. Though it was right after a big meal! Wore to a very nice dinner date with my husband.

I felt like a million bucks! In a sea of black dresses I stood out. Plenty of looks but no one I knew said a word. One complete stranger commented on how beautiful my dress was. Kind of made laugh...I'm hooked on RTR. I ended up buying two dresses and I was so impressed with them!

Great dress! True to size and comfortable

Note has been my favorite designer thus far. The dresses fit so perfectly that there is no need for a bra. And I’m large busted. This dress was comfortable, not itchy. The arms were not too tight. Easy zip up. And I felt super pretty! PERFECT!

I'm 5'9, 147 pounds, usually wear a 6 or 8. I chose the 8 this time, and it seemed perfect. The sleeves run a little tight, but not uncomfortably so.

This isn't my first time renting a Marchesa Notte dress, it was truly gorgeous and fit perfectly since I knew my sizing of the other Marchesa dress I rented a couple years ago. The embroidery is absolutely gorgeous!

Worn for a wedding & received many compliments. Sophisticated and romantic. Very nice quality and the embroidery detailing is lovely. I could have worn either size...1 a bit more form fitting and 1 a bit roomier. I went with the smaller size and felt great. I don't love strapless bras so I used pasties & they worked perfectly. Easy to accessorize.

I selected this dress because of the two necklines - it's both modest and a little sexy at the same time. I'm a little thicker in the torso and bust. There was plenty of room in the bust, but waist was a bit tight. But this dress is so elegant, it was totally worth it! With some supportive shareware, you'll be good to go.

I ordered a 6 and an 8, and ultimately wore the 8, which fit my hourglass frame like a glove. It was so snug that I didn't have to wear a bra, which is an unusual treat for a busty person, though I would order this designer in an 8 and 10 next time. The dress definitely hugs the pooch area, but it fit so well that it didn't draw undue attention. I loved the details, especially the moths and insects embroidered on the gown - perfect for the formal party I attended at a natural history museum.

I rented this for my office Christmas party in Miami and it was perfect. It's fitted but the sleeves add a bit of modesty which I appreciated around my coworkers. The details are stunning and even more beautiful in person.

The dress I wanted became unavailable so I chose this and one other dress for my office's black tie optional holiday party. I never wear form fitting dresses, so his was a shot in the dark with very little time to spare. I'm so glad I took a chance on it! It was the best of the dresses I rented BY FAR. So many compliments all night! It fit in well with a mix of gowns and cocktail dresses from the rest of the crowd. The dress has very little stretch, and the mesh at the top can gap a bit, but I filled out the bust and it turned out fine. The pattern lends itself to match many reds for accessorizing. I wore a strapless bra and shapewear shorts and had no issues. Great rental and I wish I could have kept it!

I rented this dress for a formal affair and I absolutely loved it. I wore a size 0. I am 4'11 and 112 pounds. So fit perfectly. It's very classy, elegant but at the same time it's perfectly for holidays season.

I love this dress so much I rented it twice. It's so pretty in person. It fits great. And it's relatively comfortable. I got tons of compliments. I didn't need a bra either. Which is rare for me. The dress fits snug enough to hold it all in.

This review is based solely on the dress (as for shipping and dealing with customer service, that is a different story!) I ordered this dress for November wedding and it was perfect! The detail, fit and color of the embroidery with the details of flowers and butterfly were absolutely stunning. The dress fit like a glove in all the right places and I felt so elegant the moment I put it on. I ordered a size 6 and 8 expecting to wear the 8 due to other comments but I found the size 6 to be perfect. ( I'm on the shorter side with a full bust and the dress still fit). I wouldn't second guess this dress, I received comments all evening! I matched my lipstick and handbag to the colors in the embroidery and it worked perfectly. There is only one thing I would nit pick about the dress and it is throughout the night, the lining kept coming out about an inch at my knees, and would stay lined up with the overlay, but it wasn't so bad!

This dress worked out well for a November wedding. I wore the 6, as the 4 was snug around my waist and rib cage. It was very comfortable when sitting, eating and dancing. Got a lot of compliments on it too-

Sleeves were kinda scratchy and the fit was snug. I probably should have ordered a 6. Once I got it zipped, it was fine though. I was glad to see it wasn't too terribly long on me since I'm a short girl.

I am absolutely obsessed with this dress! I wore it to a black tie optional wedding, and definitely received a lot of attention while wearing this dress! I would say it fits a little small, I'm anywhere from a size 4 or 6, and wore this dress in a size 8 - fit snug but not comfortable - easy to dance, sit, and bend in the dress. I would definitely rent this again

I got this dress as a backup when the original dress I ordered wasn't returned on time. I probably could have used one size down. It is definitely true to size. The shoulders were slightly large, but my hair covered the awkwardness. I also wore a black tank top under it since it is very low cut in the front and back- it definitely would not have been appropriate for the affair I was going to. The black shell worked fine and did not take away from the details of the dress. I would definitely rent again!
