This dress is gorgeous! Love Temperly London! If it's good enough for Kate Middleton it's good enough for me!

Working from home, I've been looking for pieces that would look good on zoom calls and this dress did that and some. Like most Temperley pieces, the cut on the ribcage is fitted but there is room for a fuller bust, as such try to order to size and if in doubt, order up. The fabric is a thicker crepe which would be too hot for summer but is perfect in transitional weather. The embroidery across the lower abdomen will do nothing for you if you're retaining water or planning on chowing-down.

I rented this because, Temperly!  Ended up being a go-to fave. So much so, my sister told me I had to send it back!  Very comfortable, slimming and versatile. And the compliments!!!  Beautifully made and special in every way.  

I chose this dress to wear to the opera, and it was the perfect choice. I went down a size because of other reviews. It fit perfectly, just barely. I barely got my hips in, but it got like a glove after, and I was able to sit with no problems. There is no stretch, which it could use, and it did want to make sure it was pulled down through the night, but I was so happy, and received many compliments, especially from my fiancé. 

I rented this for a cocktail party and ended up wearing it to an art exhibit opening as well. It is interesting, flattering, beautiful, while still being subtle and tasteful. A few things to note:

The fabric is very thick. This makes it forgiving but also not super comfortable and not great for really hot weather.

The sizing is TTS for high-end fashion, but may even run a little small. In most clothing I'm a 2, and the 4 was snug on my hips and bust.

I absolutely loved this dress. The embroidery is gorgeous. Order your personal larger size & you'll be good, especially if you're curvy. Unfortunately, I rented my smaller size and needed some shape wear. It's the stitching at the hips that keeps the dress tight. Otherwise, it was stunning. 

This dress has to be one of my favorites from rtr. I received so many compliments on it. Not only is is fashion forward and flirty but it's comfortable and figure flattering. It really doesn't get much better than that! 

Perfection. Fabric. Fit. Flatter. Elegant flirty femme. No bra needed. My guy could not take his eyes off me. Passers by envious.  Gorgeous dress. 

Beautiful embroidery, VERY flattering fit. The dress is structured well.. looks and feels high end. The material is thick enough to go without a bra, but the embroidery has a slight squishing effect up top. 

Would wear this again and again!

This is a great impact piece. The fabric is thick and flattering. In a perfect world I'd get the 8 and tailor the waist a bit but for a rental I got the 8 over a 6 and the seem in the thigh doesn't stretch so I'm glad I got the 8. I'm tall and it was still a very flattering length. Makes a statement without being too outrageous. 

I wore this to work and to an evening at the ballet. This dress is wonderful - the tailoring is excellent and the fit is slimming but the embroidery is what makes it a stand out. A pleasure to wear!

Large on top, probably too short waisted. Overall loved. Could of worn one size down if needed.

This was a great dress!  I wore it to work and then out to dinner and got compliments all day.  The fit is flattering and easy to wear.  No Spanx  required! Very comfortable- would rent again.

This dress is really stunning. It accentuates the backside, however there is not a lot of stretch with the fabric so larger chests don't fit as well. It is best for those who are 5'6" and taller

This is the best dress I have ever worn in my life. The embroidery is exquisite and dress is very well-made. The material is quite heavy, so be prepared to sweat a bit if you're in a warmer setting (but you couldn't tell because of the thickness of the dress). Everyone, including the bride, told me how amazing I looked in the dress. It definitely makes you stand out in the crowd!

I loved wearing this unique and flattering dress to a college friend's wedding! I'm usually a size 6 but needed to work with what the Chicago store had in stock. While this was a bit more form-fitting than I may have liked, this dress had enough stretch to keep me comfortable while worked up a sweat on the dance floor through the night. I loved the shoulders, dark floral embroidery, and below-knee length. 

Alot of people approached and ask what culture is my dress from! It made me laugh but I guess because of the design and embroidery people think it was a national dress or something lol! Got alot of compliments though! The material is high quality. I think it wearing this for the dia de los muertes would be perfect but I wanted to wear it so bad I wore it on  regular day and because it is very eye catching, colorful embroidery on a black dress, many people thought I was dress up for something. 

This piece is truly spectacular. The level of detail is astounding. I have a very hourglass figure and this dress accentuated it to a T. I actually had multiple people ask me if it was custom made for me.  Wish I could afford to keep this one!

Stunning dress - colors were vibrant. Hid upper arm area. Fitted on the hips if you are pear shaped like me but it wore perfectly. A little long on me - I'm 5 foot 2. Would rent again! 

If there's any brand that I stalk, it's Temperley London!!!!! Tight in the rib cage! Definitely size up! But this dress is gorgeous! I'd rent again but getting a larger size next time!

This dress is amazing. I am a street size 6 but find that in high end designer I am more of an 8, so I ordered the 8. The detail on this dress is unique and definitely a show stopper. It is very large in the hip area so it made me look wider than I would have liked. I will definitely rent this again, this time in a size 6.

The embroidery on this dress is beautiful. I got so many compliments. I found the fit good overall, however there was more room in the hip than I needed. Not a big deal but if I ordered again I'd probably size down. 

This dress is unique.  I would say it is perfect for a Mexican style party or something Latin.   
The fit- the chest is extremely tight.  I am a 32D (small D) and it was completely smashing my breasts.  I didn't wear a bra because if this.  It fit great everywhere else.  I am normally a size 0 or 2, and the 4 fit me with this dress (not designer) I just rented this designer in a 0 and it fit with room to spare.

The cut and detailing of this dress is quite beautiful! I would suggest sizing down of the feminine cut hugs your curves in the right places! A heavier material so it can be worn almost any time of the year. As always with Temperley, absolutely beautiful craftsmanship 

Gorgeous pattern and fabric. The 8 was a little big in the hips, and the extra fabric gathered there in a way that was really unflattering. If I were to rent again, I'd size down. 

So, I should have gotten a larger size, but I still wore it because the dress is freaking stunning. Loved it. 

High quality, beautiful fabric and embroidery, but runs super small. The semi drop-waist made for some awkward contouring (never needed shapewear in my life but considered it when I tried this on). Not tight in the chest as much as the rib cage area. Would have loved to have worn it, but would have been struggling to breathe. 

I was impressed by the condition of the embroidery and the gorgeous blue. I wear 6 and 8 in TL and this 8 fit comfortably. However, at 5'11" it was too short in the torso.  I think I need to be about 2" shorter for this to look perfect. 

Temperly is made so well. Love  and if you're tall this brand is for you. I'm tall and appreciate the length! 

Felt like an art deco Cinderella in this stunner! Such a well-crafted dress! No stretch, so plan accordingly. So wish I could have kept this one!

Unique detail, well made, fits well, very beautiful 

This dress was great with a black jacket for "transitional" weather as the length gives some coverage. It's a comfortable synthetic fabric, no stretch but cut much more generously than other designer dresses. It was a bit big in the bust for my small chest and bra straps have to be racer/crossback or strapless. It felt good on and I got lots of compliments! Would definitely rent again

Terrific dress for a curvy girl. I usually wear between 8-10. The 8 fit terrific. No need for spanx. Needed a strapless or a cross back bra but other than that, great!
Heavy enough to be warm at a winter indoor event.

This Temperly London dress fit true to size. The material is a nice, thick quality and the embroidery is beautiful. I received many compliments at an outdoor wedding in Santa Barbara county.

I was so happy I rented this dress for my friends wedding. Other reviewers had mentioned sizing down so I decided to rent a 6 instead of my usual 8. I do think the 8 would have been a little loose around my hips but the bust area is definitely true to size so it was a little hard for me to zip. The neckline and embroidery make this dress really stand out. I'm looking forward to trying other Temperley dresses from RTR.
