Great work dress. I did not find the slit too high, maybe because I am on the petite side. 

A lovely and memorable dress. Fit well, comfortable, and got lots of remarks. 

I rented this to wear at a family occasion in a synagogue! The dress fit perfectly, travelled well and received a lot of compliments! I love it!!!

Super flattering dress with a unique cut. I received compliments all day. While beautiful and flowing, the material is not very forgiving--especially in the chest. I made the one size larger than pre-pregnancy work, but could have easily sized up. #29weeks

This dress had so many great details to it that I couldn't help but love it. To be honest, I didn't LOVE the way it looked on me -- it's more suited to someone with a straight and narrow figure (I'm a pear) -- but the dress deserves to be worn, so wear it I did ;)

Never met a DVF dress I didn't love! I planned this look for weeks, knowing that this piece would be my "Taj Mahal" outfit. Love that it is modest (when standing) and that the print of the dress melded will with the mosaics and art inside the Islamic mosques we visited in India. Absolutely love the fit, colors, and fabric. 

This dress is amazing. As a short gal with a curvy figure, a shapeless dress with a giant ruffle down the front was a risk, but it fit perfectly and looked great. I got compliment after compliment in it. It's a unique and versatile dress. I originally ordered it for vacation (and paired it with low-top white chucks as well as black pointe flats), but ended up wearing with low heels, a pendant, and a jacket for work, too. 
This dress fits TTS. The armholes were just a touch small and rubbed on my armpits after a day of wearing the dress, so if you're broad shouldered, I might consider sizing up. I'm as short as you get, and the pink ruffle was just short of the ground on my frame, so length shouldn't be an issue for anyone. 

The fit was great, I could move in it. I just loved it.

I loved wearing this for artsy events, like a casual theater performance. I love how the hanging fabric trails behind you.  It may not work on a shorter person. 

Beautiful, sophisticated dress.  Very high quality and a unique design.  I loved everything about it.  Fit true to size – I usually wear a 0 or a 2 and will always opt for the 2 if something is fitted through the hip/thigh and sometimes it is still snug but this was plenty roomy.  The slit is quite high but I still wore it to work in the summer with no tights and it didn’t bother me.  This is one of the RARE dresses that actually appears longer on the website model than it did on me, but at the mid-calf/tea length it does look best with heels. I also wore it with white leather sneakers for a more casual look and it was funky and chic.  

I got tons of compliments. Like the reviews said, I have hips and a butt so I got a 6 instead of 4, and that was the right choice. It was easy to match and accessorize and the perfect colors for a summer wedding

Pros: flattering shape, easy to dance in, great length. Cons: hardly any, but the material was lighter than I expected.

The slit in front is super high when you sit you see everything so I wore a black slip underneath

The dress looks great on but the armpits are cut a little small and tight. Other than that the dress was great. Easy breezy. 

This fit perfectly, even being a curvier girl. I loved the flow of the dress and the unique pattern (I'd never have bought this from a store but I'm so glad I tried it!). My only minor complaint is that the slit hidden by the pink fabric goes up to the mid thigh when you're sitting, so you're warned if you wear it to work like me you'll be hiding your thigh all day.. still worth it!

This fit wonderfully and i felt great in it. Not your average dress at a cocktail party, this stood out in a good way. Would rent again for work, cocktails or a formal party - can go with any of them. 

Very light material, comfortable to wear. I am pear-shaped so it doesn't hang as flatteringly as I hoped... but it is a very nice dress.

An elegant dress that moves easily from sitting to walking.  Has a lovely flow when walking that is eye catching. True to size & didn’t feel as if I had to skimp on enjoying my meal.

DVF never fails to make dresses that are super flattering. This one hits in all the right places and I love that it is long, but has a slit along the side showing a hint of skin. I loved the draping of the pink "ruffle" in front and that it hung down low. As with a few of DVF's dresses that are 100% silk, it does feel more like a silk blend rather than pure silk but is still lovely. I will note that the black seam that should be on the inside of the dress is starting to turn out and be visible around the collar. It is minor and I suppose comes with the territory of renting. 

Comfortable, lightweight, easy to wear, true to size. Fun pattern, will definitely wear a bunch. 

This dress was super easy, comfortable, versatile yet still classy for a full day in the city - loved it!

Perfect dress for a summer wedding. Incredibly low maintenance and easy to wear.  Interesting side slit hits just right, makes for great movement and even better photos.  I wore the 6 but probably could have done the 4.  Highly recommend!

The fit was was close to perfect but the arm holes were a little small or tight on me.  I think the sz.6 would have been too big because the 4 dress was comfortably loose everywhere ( except the armholes ;).  The mix of patterns/colors was really fun and I received several compliments! 

Worn for work event - lots of compliments!

Adored this dress – lightweight, free-flowing and artistic without being shapeless, and a definite attention-getter without showing skin. Miraculously didn't wrinkle after hours of sitting either! Only downside was having to wait indoors until rain cleared – was too worried about silk to risk it. 

This dress is truly underrated! It has such a unique print and beautiful ruffle detail. This silky shift is definitely a stand out piece. The color combo is super cute. This dress is one of those pieces that can be worn to any event! 

This dress was absolutely amazing. It fits true to size and is so comfortable. The perfect length. I got so many compliments. I loved that it was a unique design but also that the ruffle was so intentionally placed that it really flattered my figure. Absolutely in love! 

Received a ton of compliments wearing this. In fact I had people stop me in public to say that's a really nice dress. Lightweight.  Looks great paired with gold or silver jewelry.  I wore this to work but I think this would also be a really nice dress to wear to a special occasion brunch or a daytime wedding.  Had a hard time turning this one back in.

What a beautiful dress! An excellent elevated alternative to a maxi dress, wore to a work event in Miami. Tons of compliments, and comfortable enough to wear on the flight home

The dress was amazing. The cut of the dress was very forgiving even though the fabric is thin it hides all flaws. It is very comfortable and way to move in. I felt very attractive and received many compliments. It was my first time to RTR and I look forward to renting again. 

I wore this out to dinner with my husband. He didn't love it but it was not a style I usually wear. It was a bit more fitted than I thought it would be but that made it a little sexier. Also there was a pretty high slit that is covered by the pink fabric.

I loved the easy fit of this dress - it draped nicely, didn't cling anywhere and the ruffles were understated and relaxed. I'm short - 5'2 - and the length was right where it should be to show off the shoes and a little ankle.
