Fun Dress
I wore this to an IMAX screening of the new Star Wars movie. It was a perfect fit. I got lots of compliments on the dress. The one challenge? Climbing all the stairs in the IMAX theatre in this dress! Luckily, I had anticipated this and was able to keep the hem at decent levels!

Fun dress
The colors on this are very vibrant. The cut-out in the back is fun and sexy, but pretty modest for a cut-out. You cannot wear a conventional bra with this dress. Other reviewers have commented that the fabric was heavy, but I thought it was more light- to mid-weight. Lots of compliments on this one!

Just Okay
This would be better suited for a straight-and-narrow or athletic type. I'm more hourglassy and the waist was huge on me. I'm also shortwaisted and the leather trim fell below my actual waist. I feel like it made me look shapeless and chunky. Plus, by noon, it was wrinkled across the hips from sitting. Nice dress, just not for me.

Very pretty dress for work.
The dress runs about 1/2 size small. I had to pin the neckline so that it was decent for work. The tailored collar and wrap silhouette made this professional while the fully skirt lent femininity. I loved wearing this. The only downside is the sleeves began to wrinkle by the end of the day.

This dress looked like a valentine! The top is very fitted-- I had trouble zipping it up, but that just kept the top secure. Oddly, even though it was tough to zip, I still needed to add some padding to the corset. I am short waisted and had to give the dress a hoik to pull the waist up off my hips. I paired with red suede pumps and a sparkly choker. I wore this to a jazz concert on Valentine's weekend. When meeting the conductor afterward, he called me the "date of the century." I wish I had more places to wear this!

Glamourous and pockets!
A previous reviewer was right-- I think that RTR has inaccurately converted the Italian/American sizing. I used the standard Italian/American sizing conversion (NOT the RTR conversion), got my regular size in this cut of dress, and it fit great. The dress was a tight squeeze up top-- I had to go braless-- but once the zipper was up, it looked like it had been tailored for me. It makes your waist look TINY from the side and front. Lots of compliments from strangers and hubby!

Amazing fit!
I loved this dress! I want to buy this dress! This is very flattering. I could never wear sweater dresses because I'm so hourglassy, but the material on this one is great. Somehow it hugs all the curves but forgives all the flaws-- I didn't even wear Spanx with it. The horizontal white stripes on the bodice pull the eye up and balance out the proportions. I cannot say enough about this dress. I got this on Unlimited and still haven't returned it-- I've got two more events I want to wear it to!

Unusual cut, great dress!
I wore a 10 and it was a little large, but I think the 8 would have been too small. The detailing on this dress is eye-catching. I got lots of compliments at work. I work a long sleeve, fitted navy turtleneck underneath and paired with tights and boots. I would rent this again in a heartbeat.

Color was amazing! The material will hold you in somewhat. The dress was about half a size too small, but it was too late to exchange, so I threw a black cashmere crewneck over it and paired with knee-high black suede boots-- worked out fine, even if it wasn't a showstopping look. Dress rode up (of course, it was too small!) and really flattened down my chest-- very odd. I wore this to a 90-minute dance concert and then to drinks. Even with all the sitting, it didn't lost its shape.

Good cut, color
The cut, fit and color on this dress were great. The top was fitted, the sleeve length was perfect. The pleats on the skirt were crisp. The color was true. I found the fabric itself very uncomfortable-- stiff, scratchy and very warm.

With silver-sparkly accessories, this dress just looks like a party!
Paired with silver-sparkly necklace, clutch, and pumps, this dress just looked like a party. Very festive! The top fits very snugly. I'm a 36B-- if I were a 34B, it would have been perfect. Still, it wasn't so tight that the dress pulled; I just had to be careful how I sat so that I didn't wrinkle the bodice over the course of the evening. Dress arrived with wrinkles. I pressed (under a Tshirt) for almost an hour and still couldn't get all the wrinkles out. The Kate Spade party dresses I've rented this season all seem to have this issue, probably due to how heavy and luxe the fabric is. So just a heads-up. Also, like the other Kate Spade dresses I've rented, the lining hung lower than the dress and needed to be pinned up. Finally, the front pleats aren't messing around. They are big! Be prepared to wrangle, especially on the dance floor. You will definitely stand out in a crowd in this dress. In silhouette, color and fabric, it wasn't like any other dress at the museum party I wore it to.

Superfun dress!
The pictures don't do this dress justice-- it's a total head-turner in real life. It's very festive and modern take on vintage feminine-- a real change from the body con or more overtly sexy dresses that I see a lot of at parties. The beading on the top is shimmery and fun, the fabric is heavy and luxe, and the full skirt is really fun. You really want to work that skirt! The top runs small, but the close fit balances out the fullness of the skirt. I had trouble zipping the dress up, but it fit like a glove once it was on. Three strangers came up to me to tell me I looked like Audrey Hepburn in the dress! This is another dress I didn't want to take off at the end of the night. A couple notes: the dress was deeply wrinkled when I got it. Steaming didn't help, it had to be pressed. Also, the top was so fitted, I couldn't fit my normal bra under it. If I'd been a 34B, I think it would have fit perfectly with a bra.

I rented this for a Christmas jazz concert.
I usually wear an 8 - 10 in dresses, but the 6R fit well, probably because I have a very small waist. There was actually a little extra room in the back of the dress, right above the hip. The straps are wide-set, but that lent a more retro look to the dress, which is what I was looking for. The dress is very poofy, which was just tons of fun! I wore a sparkly vintage bracelet and matching necklace, and blue suede, pointy-toed pumps. It was amazing look-- lots of heads turned and a LOT of compliments! I actually hadn't been in the concert venue long enough to get my program when one of the sound managers came out of the booth to compliment me on the dress. I felt great all night and was sad to send this one back!
