Hi Marleen -- This came to about 1.5-2 inches above my knee so it sounds like i would be a great fit! I had it on with about 3" nude pumps and it is the most amazing dress. I think because there is some stretch the length might be a little longer or shorter based on how narrow you are in your bust and hips but I promise you'll love this dress!

This was probably my favorite RTR dress to date (tied with the Milly dress I got engaged in)! I wore it to the brunch we hosted the day after my wedding and felt amazing. Because it was a big meal I opted for the 8, but the 6 fit fine as well (would have worn that at night). If this isn't available in your size you should feel confident going a size up. The material was the good kind of stretchy... thick enough that there were no clingy areas. Long enough to be appropriate for day and the cap sleeves are flattering. Color is so striking, even better in person. Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved this rental! I rented this for a formal wedding and it was a huge hit. My backup size was not available so I was very nervous about renting the 2, but it fit like a glove. The dress was so comfortable and the quality was incredible. I got compliments on the dress all night and my fiancé LOVED it! I would rent it again in a heartbeat and was so sad to send it back.

Wore this for my bday dinner and it looks great in person as well as in photos! Perfect sexy but slightly conservative dress

This was my first dress from rent the Runway and the best! I absolutely loved it from the color to the fabric to the bit.  I did wear spanx underneath but people commented on my figure all night, it was a great dress and I wished I could keep it!

I loved this dress! I was nervous at first bc they didn't have the 4 and that's what I usually wear but since the material is stretchy you can go down a size. The dress hugged my curves perfectly and was very comfortable to dance in. A lot of the reviews say the material is heavy but I wore it to a wedding in July and was fine.

I ordered this dress for a formal event and it was perfect. The fit was snug but the stretchy material made it comfortable as well. I am 6' tall and was worried about the dress being too short, but it was a great length. The color was vibrant and I got tons of compliments. Highly recommended! 

The material was perfect for a feb wedding in Florida. It's heavy enough to not feel like a cheap dress and is very flattering with some give. The smaller size fit but I felt it hugged my curves a little too much for a classy wedding. Amazing color and beautiful, classy dress. I received so many compliments!

The dress fit really snug with my body. The neckline was flattering. The material was thicker than expected so I would not recommend this dress for a really warm weather event. The blue color is beautiful.

Dress is true to size. Spanks or shaper is a must. Shows all the curves in a good way. No cons on this dress. 

Like almost everyone else, I loved this dress, and got several compliments! The color is very vibrant and the detail in the stitching is incredible. The fabric is thick, but has a lot of stretch, so it's super flattering. It hit just above my knee and really only rode up a bit when I was going up and down stairs. I was able to dance all night at my friend's wedding without having to worry about it bunching up. I would definitely recommend this dress and was not ready to send it back!

Loved this dress. Definitely short, but not TOO short. The bottom rode up a lot, especially in my normal size so I wore the smaller size, which helped a bit. The dress is tight but stretchy, which made it surprisingly comfortable. Got a lot of compliments and felt great all night!

A beautiful color dress- to compliment  stunning Lake Tahoe! This is a very fitted but comfortable dress. I am between a 6/8/10- depending on the fit on the top since I am a 36DD- so I got the 8.  RTR didn't have a back up size (10), so I rolled the dice and am glad the 8 worked out. I received a lot of compliments on it from everyone, including my husband. I danced all night in it and the dress stayed put. Overall, I recommend this dress and it was a great rental price too. 

I absolutely LOVED this dress!  I wore the 6, my usual size and found the dress to be very true to size. Surprisingly, it was also extremely comfortable!  I did not anticipate such a fitted dress to be so comfortable but was pleasantly surprised. The color really stands out and made my blue eyes pop. This dress is perfect for a wedding or any formal event. I was sad to return this dress because it was absolutely perfect. 

The color was gorgeous and the dress was in great condition. The fabric was thick (and is a little warm) but stretches to accent your shape. I felt beautiful!

This dress was amazing!  I received so many compliments on it.  The dress is great for girls with curves. It was so comfortable and easy to move in.  I was nervous about it being to short, but the length was perfect for a wedding.

I loved wearing this dress to a wedding - it was gorgeous! I normally don't go for dresses that are completely fitted, but the thick/textured material doesn't show off every nook and cranny so it was perfect. It's just stretchy enough to be super comfortable but not look too tight. The size 2 was luckily perfect for me since they were out of my backup size. The only thing I would say is that it tended to ride up a tad as I walked around but that wasn't a big deal. It was long enough on me to where it still didn't look hoochie when it rode up some. Definitely would recommend this dress!

The dress is simply stunning! You take it out of the bag and immediately see the intricate stitching work, just wow! Then you put it on, and you're in heaven. The inner lining is so incredibly soft, you feel like you're wearing pajamas underneath, and it's beyond stretchy. Allows for all the curves in the world, and certainly allows for plenty of dancing! The other part that I was pleasantly surprised with was the way the stitching stretching and accentuated curves nicely - the pictures were incredible from the night. Also didn't hurt to get compliments all night long either. Still new to RtR, but wondering where it's been all my life!! Dressing like this one make you feel like a million bucks, but don't actually cost that much. Completely worth it!!

I wore this dress at 25 weeks pregnant and it was extremely comfortable and flattering. I felt great wearing it (especially since none of my dresses for anymore).

Great body hugging fit but it didnt make me feel exposed.  The details and the color just beautiful.  

This dress was everything. I took a chance and asked it to arrive the day of my event because I had to wear it. RTR was able to get it to me earlier in the day, and I was so happy it fit. 

It's a very stretchy material, so I probably could have sized down, but it wasn't super noticeable. People stopped me all night to compliment the dress, and it made me feel beautiful. Only downside is that I got hot in it, but that could have been due to the all night dancing. I hated sending it back! I definitely recommend it!

Wore this for a summer graduation dinner celebration. I sized down to the 2 since the material is stretchy, and form fitting. The 4 had rouching on the back for me. really comfy, yet stylish. received tons of compliments- I feel like I'm advertising for RTR ev ery time I wear one of their fabulous dresses. The fit runs a size large, I would say. Maybe two. I ordered a size down but I think I would've fit if I had gone two sizes down. It is so flattering! Hugs you in all the right places so definitely creates a curvy figure. It's a bit conservative because of the high neckline, but still sexy since it is so body hugging. The material is very thick but nothing extreme. I wore it to an outdoor wedding where the weather is hot and humid and managed just fine. The color is beautiful as well. Definitely an attention-grabber. I would definitely wear it again and definitely recommend it!

Material made me feel like I had the support but not restricting 

I'm reviewing this very late! I rented this for a March wedding. I paired it with patent nude Nine West shoes, RTR's WHITING & DAVIS Gold Mesh Glam Clutch and RTR's TOM BINNS Cut Couture Drop Earrings. 

The dress fit great. The fabric is very detailed and the color is gorgeous.  The lining is a cotton material which makes it super comfortable. As mentioned, it's a heavier dress, so it may not be best for the summer months. 

This dress was absolutely stunning. The color is a beautiful bright blue. This dress will flatter any figure and was so comfortable! I paired it with black peep toe pumps, large gold stud earrings and a gold bracelet and had so many  complements. People were asking me where I got my dress from all night! This dress is amazing and I totally recommend it! This was my first time renting from Rent the Runway and I plan to do it again soon. Great experience! 

Fit is relatively snug, color is phenomenal and the material is excellent! Highly recommended! 

As promised, the dress fits like a glove. It's body-con, but for me it felt true to size. I would definitely rent this again!

It fit like a glove, holding in at all the right places. The only issue is that being the dress is pretty popular, the dress had some wear, but wasn't very obvious.

This dress felt so amazing! I just had my second baby and wanted to get out of the sweats and look fancy! The fabric of this dress is so forgiving I was able to wear the 10 instead of the 12! Made the night so much more fun and girly! I would love to rent this one again!

I rented it for my friend's bridal shower and everyone gave me so many compliments! The color is just fabulous on my skin tone.  After the bridal shower, I put some heels on and went out to a club afterwards.  Very versatile and good looking dress!

This was actually my second option. I originally wanted a different dress but waited too long to order so my size was out. It was a blessing in disguise. I am 5'4" so although the dress looks short in the picture, it was a perfect length for me. The material is textured which I didn't realize and is also thicker than I anticipated which both made for a very pleasant surprise. I did have to pull it down a few times as I walked as it would start to ride up but other than that, this dress was perfect! I love how it fit my body. You can wear this dress to almost anything. Lots of compliments from strangers and friends alike.

This dress is gorgeous! It hides flaws. I weigh 150, 5'5.  I measure 32-28-41. I will definitely order this dress again. I will probably order a 10 just for a little more length because of my big booty. The color is beautiful. I ended up not going to event because my child got sick, but I'm sure it would have been the best dress there!!

I was a little worried about the dress (this being my first time with Rent the Runway and all) but it far exceeded my expectations. Fit like a glove and I got so many compliments all night!

The dress fit like a dream and was the perfect length. It accented all the right places and the color really highlighted my tan. I wore this to my bachelorette weekend and had a blast. 

The dress fits very tight.  Definitely order up for your second six.  I usually wear a 4....it fit, but the 6 was more comfortable. The color is really great.....the picture doesn't do it justice.  Very comfortable, fun dress!!  I will likely rent it again....I really did not want to return it.   

It was form fitting and stretchy. Very comfortable and figure flattering! I loved the detail around the neck.

I am a bit curvy and found that i did get horizontal lines forming between my waist and the bottom of the dress that I found really annoying. It got better with Spanx and may have been better if I had a larger size, but it was fine! I wouldn't suggest ordering too small because you may run into this issue if you have any hips.

Wore this to a fall wedding in September and it was great.  Material is thicker, very flattering.  Color and detailing are really nice too. 

It's a good winter or late fall dress as it is a thicker material and warm. I have a large backside, love those squats! So it was a bit snug there. For me it would have been a bit too risky for a long night of dancing. But it was fine for our casual dinner and lite dancing. 

I'm 5'8" 206lb athletic build, pear shaped. 

Flattering fit but also very comfortable! It felt classy but the color made it fun for a cocktail party- would rent again 

Very good comfortable fit. Loved that I didn't have to wear a strapless bra with it. True to size fit. I opted to wear the 8 instead of 6 because the 6 wasn't available the weekend i needed it, but I was glad because I needed the extra length the 8 provided.  I'm tall though, so overall it's not too short. 

This dress fit like a glove and was so comfortable. I felt beautiful for the first time in a long time thanks to all of the compliments I had received. 
It was also my first RTR rental and I am super impressed. I will rent from here again and again. 

The fit was perfect! The stretchy fabrics made it very comfortable. The material is heavier than I thought so it would be hot on a warm summer day.

This dress fit perfectly. The material is thick and has a stretch to it making it very comfortable. The blue color and the detail of the fabric was beautiful.

My first experience with rtr!!! Such an awesome dress! I felt beautiful and I got so many compliments!!

Several friends complimented this dress!  Material is slightly stretchy which makes the dress comfortable.  Fits true to size but almost too short, so I wore tights.  

Shows everything like other people have said.  I wore spanks underneath.  Still wasn't 100% comfortable.  Both the 8 and 10 fit but wore the 10 to feel better.

I wore for a work Christmas Party (with wigs hence the purple hair in the photo) but the dress fit really nice.  It looked a little small and I was nervous I was going to bulge in the wrong places, but after putting it on it felt like it actually cinched everywhere I needed it to.  I was very happy with the dress and received a lot of compliments from my co-workers. 

Beautiful detailed dress, but unfortunately some cons. This dress has seen better days and is definitely showing its wear. It looks like the dress was re-hemmed or something, so there was a weird bunch at the hem. Also, I don't recommend this dress if there will be lots of dancing. The dress is very thick and the material is pretty warm. The high neck and back didn't help either.  I was dying on the dance floor!

Loved this dress - could be a great option for a variety of occasions. Knowing it was a rental, I could tell it wasn't brand new and it had been worn many times before, however it photographed beautifully and I received a lot of compliments!

Loved this dress! I wore this to a friends mid-September wedding. I ordered the size 6 & the size 8. I went with the size 6 because it fit better through the waist. I'm a little rounder on the bottom so the bottom fit a little tight - but the 8 fit about the same around the hips as well. 

Pro's - The dress was super comfortable and the fabric had some good stretch to it. Not too short, not too long, and just the right amount of sexy. 

Con's - The dress would start to ride up a little when walking. Nothing too dramatic, but just enough you had to wiggle it back down. 

I normally wear a 4 in dresses mostly due to my chest. A 2 was the only size available so I took a chance and it worked. The 2 fit like a glove. This dress was beautiful and fit great. It was a bit of a thicker material so you can get a tad hot if you are going to a summer wedding. You can wear a regular bra with it as well.  Overall I was happy with this and excited that the 2 fit as well.

This dress needs to be a snug fit, but the material has a lot of stretch to it. The fabric is very thick, which I loved.

I ordered a 0 and a 2. Received both sizes and they seemed to be the same size. I ended up wearing the size 0 and received many complements on the dress. I wish it had been a bit tighter, but it was perfect for the beach wedding.  

I loved this dress. It was extremely comfortable, and the lining felt like bedclothes or something. The lining made it a little bit warm, but all the more comfortable. It was just the right length-not too short and not too long either. It hugged my curves perfectly, and I looked and felt amazing in it! I also love the little cap sleeves, and the fact that I could wear a normal bra with it! It's a form-fitting dress but still fit great even with a super padded bra. 

One drawback is the color is more of a deep purple than a periwinkle like it looks in the picture. The color was still flattering, just different than what I thought it was going to be. Also the neck didn't lay quite as flat as I would have liked, but I was scared to iron it down. Haha. The zipper also bunched up a bit when I sat down, but I felt so great in the dress that the few cons really didn't make a big difference!

Had tons of compliments and the dress was beautiful! I should of ordered a size 6 because the dress was a bit big. 

This is such a comfortable dress.  The lining is soft and the overall dress has a nice thickness to it.  The one I got has been loved a lot.  It wasn't in the best shape and the bottom hem wasn't sitting properly.  The dress is stretchy and the color is amazing.  It is a nice royal blue that would really bring out a nice tan.  It was the perfect length for me although if I bent over it was pretty short in the back,  I did have to tug the dress down every time I stood up.  I wore a regular bra.  Honestly, the best part of this dress is that it feels like you're wearing a t shirt and not an expensive dress.

Overall a very comfortable dress. The details are very intricate. Color is stunning.
