This gorgeous piece was WAY too low cut for me, and there's no way to pin it, so I didn't get to wear it. But if you love to cleave, honey, this is your dress. (You can see on the model that she has her shoulders way back and it's very low cut.) It looked almost brand new, which is amazing because there are so many embellishments I would have expected beading/sequins to be snagged. The blue roses down the back make this dress high drama. I sometimes have a problem with arms being too snug on me, but this dress had ample room there. Very well made, slightly heavyweight. I am so sad I didn't get to wear this killer dress.

This dress was great! It was brand new so I got to cut the tags off (I love it when that happens from RTR!) Like the pink/gold version of this dress ("Fifth Avenue Showstopper"), the sequins are a smaller size to reflect little flecks of direct light (for slight disco ball effect). I wear a lot of sequined dresses and they all chafe a little, but the size and quality of the sequins kept me from being bothered. The bottom half was VERY forgiving and roomy, so this dress is great for hourglass and pear-shaped girls. If you're larger on the bottom like I am, you might want to order a size down as I would have looked a bit better in a smaller size. The top was a little low cut for my taste but easy fix with fashion tape. Highly recommend!

Very classy and beautiful. This was my $15 "surprise bling" from RTR, but I loved everything about this necklace. I will definitely rent again for the full price!

The sequins on this dress are the perfect smaller size that reflects little specks of light, and the color is a perfect modern sliver. What I didn't love about this dress was the fit on my shape. It should NOT be recommended for pears and hourglass figures, as it is very fitted in the hips and has ruching that accentuates it. There are hundreds of flattering dresses for curvy girls at RTR, and this just isn't one of them. Also, there was plastic boning in the top of the dress to hold its shape but they needed repair (sewn back in), consequently, they stuck my ribs and breasts the entire night. And as expected with a sequin strapless dress, the underside of my arms were a little raw after a full night of dancing. Overall, this is a pretty dress, and I did receive a few compliments... but I would NOT rent again, and I would only recommend for girls who need to add the illusion of curves.

My only complaint was that the built-in slip underneath kept sneaking down lower so that it was visible a couple inches past the dress. It was an easy fix (just shimmied it up in the ladies' room) but had to be gone a few times. Very comfortable and nice dress though.

The color of the dress is a pretty vibrant red, but the jersey material ruins it for me. It looks and feels very cheap. (It's like a Wal-Mart's boys' basketball shorts.) The ruching looks like it would be forgiving, but it was actually stretched out at the bottom of the skirt, like a hoop (you can see it a teensy bit in the model along the hem.) I would recommend one of Rent the Runway's hundreds of other beautiful dresses a hundred times over this one. So thankful for their excellent customer service!

This dress was absolutely GORGEOUS. Pics don't do the color of the fabric or the sequins justice. Unfortunately, I ordered in my size and one up, and my size was too big (esp in the bust), so I couldn't wear it. I wore my back up dress, but I will definitely be renting this amazing piece in a smaller size soon.

This dress was beautiful! It's a little more pink than the pic shows, which was gorgeous in person. I was really impressed that all the zillion sequins seemed to be still in tact! I have also rented two other versions of this dress (the long, formal one with identical coloring and this style in navy), and I highly recommend both of those as well. This piece was comfy all night, even though sequins normally scratch your arms, I had a pashmina and didn't notice any irritation. Under direct light, the dress has a little disco ball effect. Would definitely recommend this stunner! I taped the cleavage a little to be slightly more conservative and I preferred that look. I am pear-shaped and sometimes have to size up to allow room for my hips and caboose, but not with this dress. It's true to size and since the skirt isn't form fitting and the fabric has some ruching and give, I looked better in the smaller of the sizes I got. If you're a pear, you might want to do the same. My only minor complaint was that the bottom of the zipper (in the lining of the dress in the back) stuck out, making it poke up under the dress. I think this was a dry cleaning issue with the one dress I received, as I did not have this same issue with the other versions of the dress. I just taped it down with masking tape to keep it from poking out like I had a tail, but once taped, the dress looked great.

This dress was so pretty on! And it was brand new, as I got to cut the tags off! There's actually two layers to the dress: a nude layer, topped with a sheer black that has faint hints of metallic thread peeking out. It was very subtle but gorgeous. The material was soft and I was comfortable all night, but it was very long. (I am 5'5 and wore 4" heels and there was still a teensy bit of draping. It looked great, but I just had to pay attention and make sure I was lifting the skirt for walking or dancing.) I would recommend ordering a size up if you are hourglass or pear-shaped like me, since the larger size was much more flattering through the hips and thighs. I was sad to send this one back!

This was my backup dress so I didn't wear it, but I will definitely be renting this one again! It was very forgiving particularly in the hips and stomach. The top plunges pretty low, and I would have secured with fashion tape if I had worn it. But it the material felt amazing and the color was exactly as pictured on the model. Next time I will probably get a size down as my back up since the material and touching is so forgiving. I would highly recommend this dress, especially to hourglass and pear-shaped ladies.

This dress was AMAZING! Very flattering, accenting curves in all the right places! My husband loved it. The soft material and ruching made it very comfortable all night long. The top was a little big loose for the perfect fit of the bottom half, so be advised, fellow pears. It didn't fall off my shoulders or anything but I could feel a difference. GORGEOUS dress! Want to buy it!

J'adore this dress! So flattering! Based on the reviews, I ordered in my size and one smaller, and I ended up wearing the smaller of the two because of the super stretchy fabric. Received TONS of compliments all night. Very comfy. Only minor complaint was the way the fabric ruches, there was a tiny bit of bulging around the tummy, but this is still a smoking hot dress.

The dress is a beautiful, soft leather, but the inside lining COMPLETELY showed over the top. I tried to tape it but it was like a quarter of an inch of fabric so I couldn't wear it. If the dress wasn't leather I maybe could have ironed it down. Also the exterior fabric at the waist wasn't laying right (as it is in the pic). It just seemed like the maintenance and care on this dress were below the usually very high standards of RTR. Also, this dress runs VERY SMALL. I ordered a size larger than my normal and a back up even larger than that, which is the one I tried to wear. Would not recommend this dress, which is a shame because it really looked one of a kind.

The color and fabrics in the dress were beautiful in person. The skirt portion in particular was very forgiving and flattering. It was comfortable all night, and very cute with tights since it's a tiny bit short for ultra conservative events. I ended up wearing the larger of the two sizes I got because the smaller fit perfectly everywhere, except the bust (it was VERY tight and I'm not busty), so make sure you get a size up just in case. I would definitely recommend this dress.

This is the only disappointing dress I've had from RTR as the rest have looked and felt like quality, designer pieces that I would have loved to own. I didn't get to wear it anyway because it was WAY too big in the bust and my back up size wasn't available. I was impressed that the dress didn't seem to be missing any sequins for a rental item so it was at least in very good shape. But if I could have worn it, I would have used another belt because the velvet one that came with it made an okay dress look very cheap. The unfinished hem made it look cheaper still. You could probably buy a very similar dress at Sears for half the rental price. I would recommend any other dress I've rented from RTR any day of the week though.
