This dress is a real stunner. The pictures don't do the details and overall quality justice. It is beautiful - classy, but unique. I received so many compliments in this - including from several folks who went out of their way to track me down to say how beautiful the dress was! It was true to size. Important to note - there is no wiggle room with this dress - it is a close fit. I found it comfortable overall and very flattering.

I got so many compliments on this dress. Had the bride’s outfit not been supremely fabulous, this dress might have been an upstager. You should know that the dress is pretty heavy and totally ruined the pantyhose I was wearing, but who wears pantyhose more than once, I suppose.

This definitely runs stiff and tight in the torso so I had to sit up straight but it was worth it, so flattering and elegant!! I felt amazing in this dress! 

It may not look like much in photos but it’s so lovely in person. I got a ton of compliments at the gala. I’d recommend wearing an additional liner or shape wear under because the sequins are a little scratchy. 

I wore this dress for a professional organization's 75th anniversary celebration that consisted of a dinner, awards ceremony and dancing afterwards.  I got a ton of compliments on this dress and absolutely loved how I felt in it.  It wasn't too revealing which I really appreciated.  I wore the dress for 6+ hours and was not uncomfortable in it - this included sitting for dinner and dancing around afterwards.  If you are looking for a dress to "sparkle" in - this is the dress for you!

This is a stunning dress that fits really well. It is a two person zip though! Quality dress and long sleeves were perfect for the cold weather. Not a lot of mobility in the dress, so as long as you don't plan on dancing it is perfect for events. 

This dress was amazing for a spring outdoor wedding. The long sleeves kept me warmer than I normally would have been. In sunlight it is so sparkly and beautiful!

I will say that there is zero stretch in this dress. It wasn't much of a problem for me, but by the end of the night I was very ready to change into sweats! Dinner and drinks made the stomach area very snug since there was no give in the fabric. 

That being said, I would 100% rent this one again!

Beautiful dress. So many looks and compliments. Was in larger size due to baby weight but feel like it fit true to size. I've ordered it again for an upcoming event in a smaller size now as I loved it so much. Heavy dress and great for the colder month events. Beautiful detail and design. Even though I was heavier after baby the dress made me feel beautiful and confident. 

Badgley Mischka never disappoints. The fabric is thick and didn't require Spanx. It's a a great length for y'all girls and a perfect fit for curvier, athletic body types. 

I liked the length of this dress, but the cut was slightly off around my waist. Wore Spanx and that helped a little. Dress was thick enough where I didn't have to wear a bra. 

This dress is gorgeous! It is definitely eye catching and beautiful. It is true to size and fit like a glove.  It is small on the arms but i was able to fit into them.  You can wear a bra if needed.  I highly recommend it, especially if you wanna turn heads... 

I rented this dress for a photo shoot and it did look great in photos but I would have like it to fit a little better if I was wearing it to an event. It didn't hug curves that well. 

Soo...I really liked the dress although it required help getting into it. I almost had to go sans bra, but we figured out the zipper was just getting stuck at one spot. There are even wrist zippers to get a snug fit. I enjoyed the subtle sparkles. For some reason it wasn't very midsection flattering and I have a pretty flat tummy. Guess I should have worn Spanx with it! 

I wanted to  wear this dress so badly. RTR didn't have my usual size (12) so I had to order a size up and a size down. (I hinged a lot of hopes on the reviews that said this dress runs small.)

The invisible zipper sticks at the waistline seam. I had no hope of wearing the size down. The size-up ended up lumpy and "saggy-boob-y" and awkward no matter what creative solution I tried.

The blue wasn't as vibrant as shown. My item was also  a little over-worn, wrinkled and stretched.

Gorgeous dress but I did size up to the 6 (I am normally a 4). The zipper was tough and it’s not a dress you can zip yourself. My husband had to help. 
As many others noted, this dress shows some major cleavage. I don’t have a lot to show but this dress puts it all out there. Not too heavy for a sequined dress, but a wonderful choice for a winter/cold weather formal activity. 

I found this dress to run a little small as I have worn size 2 or 4 in other RTR dresses and a 6 felt pretty good. It felt a little stiff to move in considering that it is covered in sequins, but I guess there's not much to do about that and it was designed to fit a little snug. I was able to dance just fine but bending arms repeatedly could get awkward and uncomfortable.

Immediately, this dress caught my eye because of the vibrant blue/black combo. And sequins! Sized up after reading reviews and I'm glad I did. I had trouble clasping my shoes since the dress does not have much stretch. There is a row of sequins that are on the skin-side of the hem, but they didn't bother me that much. Zipper in the back that I needed help with. 


It's a beautiful dress!!!! A little heavy, but perfect for a winter season. The dress run true to size but.....a a little tight in the chest,  too revealing for my taste because size 32DDD. I am 4'11 and 112 pounds. It's a gorgeous dress. I definitely recommend it!!!!

I have been a 4 in most dresses I have rented, however because this dress is very fitted with little to no give, I had to wear a 6. I still felt glam & received loads of compliments. I lift weights, so I have an athletic upper body build, & the back was a touch tight. But this is to be expected with a structured sequin dress from a high end designer. Overall, the experience was great, it was flattering & the sequins did not scratch. It was a winter wedding, part outdoors, part indoors. Dress was perfect for both temps. 

This dress is absolutely gorgeous and great for the winter gala season. The material is a little heavy and the dress was a bit difficult for me to zip up by myself. Once on, however, this is a showstopper! Only real con for me was the arms were a big large on me...it was hardly noticeable though. The blue catches the light perfectly. I received a ton of compliments and was comfy enough to dance all night!

I rented this dress specifically for the glamor and the long sleeves. It was cold the night of the fashion show (54 degrees) and i didn't want to bother with a jacket or anything. This dress kept me warm! I got compliments on how pretty the dress was and i loved the look! The neck line was pretty low on me so i needed a plunge strapless bra. It's tight for a 2 but i squeezed into it. I'm 107 pounds and 5 foot 1, straight up and down body type. 

I recently wore this dress to a wedding in Minnesota (October) and this dress worked perfectly for the colder weather. You would not be able to wear this in any weather 65 degrees or warmer. This dress was BEAUTIFUL and I got so many compliments on it. I danced my butt off and didn't feel too restricted with movement. I have am bustier and so my girls were out to play the whole time and it was tight in that area, but still okay. I definitely recommend this dress to anyone looking to turn heads!

I loved the length and fit of this dress. The open neck is sexy but still appropriate for a work event. And I could wear a normal bra! The zippers on the sleeves are handy since the fabric has no stretch. The colors and detail really make this dress special. So many people stopped to give me compliments!

Hard to lift your arms and the bust is a little small but overall beautiful. 

I got so many compliments while wearing this dress! It is beautiful with a lot of personality. It can get a little warm, and I wouldn't say this is the best dress if you need plenty of mobility. (It was tight in my arms.) I'm sure I'll rent this again. I just really liked how flattering it was to my body while being pretty modest.

This dress is so beautiful, I would recommend it to anyone. It does run a little small, I usually wear a 6 and ended up needing the 8. It stretches a little and is very flattering! You may want to consider that it's long sleeved and covered in sequence so it is a little warm - but that didn't bother me at all! Definitely glad I rented this dress!

This dress fit wonderfully. The color of the blue is amazing and looked great both in person and in photos. It fit great, I wore petal like covers, although I'm sure I could have worn a normal bra. The sleeves were just long enough if not a tiny bit too long for me, but it wasn't a problem. The dress is on the heavier side, so I would more recommend for fall and winter events (if you're dancing, you'll get hot!) Overall, amazing, and this is now my 2nd dress from the designer Badgley Mischka, and they've both been perfect. 

The dress fit great!  I have broad shoulders, there isn't much stretch in the dress, so that took away from the allotted room in the chest area. To accommodate for this, I wore no bra with the dress, which was fine since there are so many sequins (it's pretty thick). The movement is also limited in the arm area, so I would not rent this dress if you plan on dancing at your event. 

As other reviewers said, it runs small, glad I got a size bigger than normal. It is a modest dress, which worked well since I wore it for a kids' school fundraiser. But, the sequins boost the glam factor. 

The only down side was that it was pretty heavy by the end of the night. However, it fit so great and I just loved it! It ran a little small so size up! 

This was my first time renting from Rent the Runway. I searched for dresses and this one popped out at me. The process was super easy. I was a little skeptical about sizes from reviews, so I got the dress shipped to the store. The dress came on time, I received my email, and was on my way. When  I arrived, all I had to do was sign in and was right in the fitting room. I ordered a 8 & 10. The 10 was absolutely perfcect and was able to leave the smaller size in store without the hassle of taking the unecessary dress home. I would definitely rent from them again and refer anyone who needs a dress for any occasion to utilize them. 
I receieved so many compliments on this dress, It made me feel great.

If you have a chest, it's very revealing. It wasn't a bad thing but it may not be work appropriate. It required Spanx for me to feel good, but because of all the sequins you couldn't tell at all! 
The length was perfect, just below the knee. 
There is NO STRETCH so this is great for walking and standing. Not great for sitting or dancing. 
This is a perfect dress for a winter function. It was warm. Very thick and long sleeved. If you tried to wear this where it was 75 degrees or warmer you would be miserable. I wore it outside in the winter and it was about 60 degrees and it was very comfortable. 

Absolutely stunning. The fit is very flattering- fitted but not super tight. I'm typically a solid size 4 and a 34C- it fit perfectly. The 6 would have been huge.

Its pretty heavy, which was perfect for a winter black tie event. The blue is a beautiful color. I loved it bc there was no other dress like it at the huge event.

Loved the dress and got lots of compliments. Only complaint was that it was a little tight through the shoulders / arms. 

This dress runs small! Rent the Runway was so helpful when my first 2 sizes didn't fit (2 and 4). They overnighted me 2 more and the 6 was perfect. There is not a lot of stretch but it is very well made and attractive. The sleeves are a little big but I thought this added to the sophistication. The blue really pops out.  Would rent it again! 

For curvy ladies like me this dress runs small! I barely got it over my butt and when I sat down it almost hurt to breathe. The size 8 probably would’ve been more comfortable, but I LOVED how the size 6 accentuated my curves.  Since the dress has sleeves I didn’t get any scratches from the material, but it can get caught on things (I almost snatched a girl’s wig off because her hair got stuck on my sequins!) The dress had a solid weight to it and unlike some others I was able to dance all night in it (no dropping it low, though!) 

I wore this dress for my son's bar mitzvah party. It is gorgeous! It was actually my back-up dress, but I ended up liking it even more than my original choice. As other reviews noted, it is very fitted and has no give. Putting it on was a little scary because it felt like it wasn't going to fit, but once it was zipped, it felt like an elegant glove. It is a bit heavy, but I was comfortable and able to dance as much as I wanted. I got as many compliments on the dress as I did on my son's performance!
