Fifth Avenue Showstopper Dress

Only a size two was available and it was tight around the rib cage but otherwise fit well. Beautiful dress !

Got this for a 1920’s Great Gatsby themed gala, which worked really well. Also the gold really stands out amongst all the other black suits and dresses as per usual in every gala.

I love this dress! - plan to get compliment after compliment from complete strangers! And - the sequens are very soft; do not ravage the inside of your arm at all! A few things you need to know: I have rented the long version as well so it's not just this version or size; You can fit A LOT of bosom into the top - and I have a C-D bust. I could worn the 12 on the top - but needed the 14 for the bottom. With the proper fitting bottom, I needed to address the top slipping open; night 1 - tried with posture alone. Looked amazing, but had slippage and the bottom of my bra would show at times. Night 2 - I caved and used a safety pin since I didn't have time to order tape. Also - both long and version are challenging to zip so plan for someone to help you. This is not because of the size, but because it catches right above waistline. Night 2 we figured out how to zip it part way, get it on over my head - then zip it the rest of the way. Finally - (and I am glad) it is NOT as short as it shows on the model. Enjoy the attention this show-stopper gets, you will feel all the bit the glamour girl!

I am usually a size 10. The dress is running a bit small so what you see in the photo is me in size 12.

I ordered the 10 and 12 for this dress, the 10 fit but was bunched in the back so I went with the 12. Great dress, super comfortable and received lots of compliments!

I wore this as a personal attendant in a wedding & got so many compliments! It was beautiful, fit true to size, comfy, and flattering. I did have to pin the chest as it was really low cut. It was fully lined so I didn't get scratched by the sequins like in some other sequined dresses. Rent it!

Great dress for birthday dancing. I'm a 32E, and lots of taping was needed to keep things in place and not have my chest look out of control. Length and draping great for this now 43 year old body.

The fit was great, true to size. I am 5'4' and weight over 200 lbs and this dress hid all of my body imperfections perfect. It was a little large in the breast area but I was able to pin it and that solved the problem. The dress was comfortable and the sequins did not bother me at all. Everyone talked about how beautiful I looked at my 45th birthday party and I felt AMAZING in the dress!!!

I typically wear a size 8, glad I went with the 10. It was a little loose in the top but otherwise perfect. Zipper was hard to zip up in the back where the material gathered, felt like we were going to break the zipper from pulling so hard. Other than that, it was perfect. I got so many compliments on this dress and would totally rent it again!

This dress fit like a glove and was SO comfortable (although it doesnt look it). I am 5'7 and it was just above my knee. Definitely reccommend!

I was nervous about renting a dress because of my height, but it fit perfectly! It fell just above my knees. I was able to wear a normal bra, and there was nothing that needed adjustment throughout the night. I wore it with tan heels, and no need for any jewelry! It wasn't itchy at all, I highly recommend it.

This is truly a stunning dress - the photos don't do it justice! I had ordered it as a back-up to another dress to wear to a wedding, but loved it so much that there was no question what I would choose for my friend's big day! It runs true to size, it's a bit larger in the front and the neckline was a bit deeper than I'm used to, but I was able to wear it with a regular bra and no need for fashion tape. Very happy with my choice!

Zipped perfectly (despite others mentioning zipper issues). Length was just right for a wedding (knee length on me, but I'm 5'2", so would likely be just above the knee on taller ladies). Sparkle was amazing. So comfortable and easy to dance in. I wore a regular bra and added a safety pin just so it wasn't exposed (I'm small in the chest). Would rent again in a heartbeat.

The dress is comfortable and a very flattering cut. I am tall (5'9") and usually short dresses fit too short. This dress was just fine, hit me right at the knee. I've never gotten so many compliments! One person told me that i just sparkled! I highly recommend this dress, you'll get plenty of compliments :). My skin is fairly light so I was worried about the color but the rose really pops out of the gold in this one. I think I'd wear my hair up to show off the back more.

This dress was amazing! Really thick and sturdy and surprisingly un-itchy for a sequin dress. I could wear it with a regular bra which is great for dancing. Wonderful dress....I would totally rent it again if there weren't 400 other dresses I wanted to try!

Amazing dress!! True to size and fit like a dream!! It looks light pink or a little gold in different light, but it always looks beautiful! I was so incredibly pleased with this choice! It truly is a SHOWSTOPPER and I got tons of compliments! It is also extremely comfortable and easy to wear. I would highly recommend renting this dress for your event! I wore it to "Black Tie" and it was perfect!

Low cut, tighter than expected around the hips. Dress fit much better without a bra! Pros: Sparkly Flattering Compliments! Cons: Out of Size 6--order as early as possible to ensure they have your size! ( I was lucky the 4 fit)

I wore this dress for my bachelorette party and I loved it! It was true to size but felt a bit heavy on my frame. The only issue I had was that when the dress arrived, it had at least 5 pins in the neckline and I severely pricked my finger trying to get them out. The neckline is a little revealing but I didn't mind. The best part about this dress is that you can wear a normal bra. It's definitely a rose gold color vs gold as well. Q

This dress is definitely show stopping!! I enjoyed wearing it. I will say that I thought the dresses seemed to "add a few pounds" to my midsection, however. That could be because my body is very hourglass though. Overall, I'd consider renting this style again in a different color.

This dress did a really great job of disguising that little pooch tat everyone is a little insecure about. I had to fashion tape the bottom about 2 inches because i am so short and it almost touched my knees even though in the picture on the website it looks like mid thigh. I had plenty of room to breate and move, the only bad thing is it started to rub under my arm after a while but that was at the very end of a long night Great dress super comfortable i wish i could have kept it!

Wore this for my annual Holiday Party - wanted to stand out as the hostess and I definitely did. Everyone loved the dress, and the lower cut was great for my body-type. Didn't love the "frumpy" hip/butt area but it was overall great for the party. I got a ton of "your dress is extremely distracting" comments.

Loved the dress! Was a bit longer than I was expecting but still looked great. I wish the top had fit slightly better, but I don't exactly have much going on in that arena.

This dress was a showstopper. I got so many compliments while wearing this dress! I couldn’t believe this style fit my wide hips! I’m usually a 6 and a small or medium in tops (but about a size 12 on bottom) and I ordered an 8 and am glad I did. This fits snug in the top (needed my husband to help zip it up, and that was with no bra). The sequins rub a bit around the arms and the liner rides up when you walk- those are my caveats. That said, I loved how this looked and how it made me feel so much that I ended up buying it! If you have a special occasion or are heading to Vegas this is a winner!

I didn’t end up wearing this just because I rented more than I needed for a Vegas trip. However, this dress is perfect, Badgley Mischka is my favorite, always feels like it was made for me. Snug fit without being too tight, and flattering in all the right places. Gives the illusion of more curves than I have (36/27/36). Would absolutely rent again for another event!

This dress was gorgeous! I wore it to a black tie wedding and it was perfect! I received so many compliments. I would say that it is more gold than rose gold so if you’re picking accessories keep that in mind. Also the sequins definitely irritated my arms a little during dancing, but the look was worth it.

I am very busty so the dress accentuates my cleavage. My mom thought it was too low cut but I didn’t. The dress bunches in the back for those that are bootylicous.

This was my back up dress because gold can be hit or miss on me since I'm naturally very pale. The second I put it on I knew it was the one. The material has some give/stretch to it so if you worried about it being tight, it likely won't be if you get your normal size. The sequins did not bother my arms at all. I did NOT have to wear a bra OR use tape. Definitely not see through. I got compliments on it ALL night and was told to not return it because it was worth keeping lol. Highly recommend.
