This is like a poncho-cape-cardigan-blanket all in one. Despite feeling relatively consumed in the amount of material, it was very comfy and I got a ton of compliments. I initially struggled to get it to feel positioned correctly - the cape section wanted to drag the back down which caused the tag to stick out a lot. I would have been better in an XS (& I'm broad shouldered). I also found it difficult to eat, constantly afraid I was going to drag the sleeve though my food. Loved it anyway.

I loved the interest of the asymmetrical hem and definitely got a couple compliments on my overall outfit. That said, the ruching around the front made me look belly heavy ( so perhaps GREAT for early pregnancy cover-up or days you're feeling bloated). The cinched up side also would probably expose skin if you weren't wearing mid or high waisted bottoms.

It's definitely better in person though than the photos give credit. Material is structured, but also has the perfect amount of give to be comfortable. Lines were perfectly modest for work, but easily could transition to evening event as the gold has metallic sheen to it. Loved these pants visually. The fit was great - mid-waisted and mild crop. Definitely a good staple rental. Docked a star because the tweed felt slightly rough on the inside (not scratchy, but you could definitely tell you were wearing tweed) and because they were starting to lose shape by the end of the work day. Nice lightweight work dress. Was excited that the back of the waistline was elasticized, which made it really comfy, and that there were eye hooks between the buttons in the mid-section (so no gapping). Just sort of meh. The necklace laid just above a standard rounded collar/neckline on me. The size and weight seemed like it would feel high quality, but the gold looked a little brassy. Love love love this dress. There's a lot of fabric, but it's very airy and has beautiful movement. Can be very versatile, although super long so pretty much has to be paired with wedges or heels if you're under 5'9" or so. I sized up since I have a swimmer's build and there's no give in the waistband. The cut of the top gave my humble cup size a bit of a boost, but I could see that it might over-accentuate the ladies for bustier gals. Considered buying, but still a bit pricey and so memorable I probably couldn't wear it frequently.

When the necklace arrived, the lariat piece was fully extended down to the tassel. I totally forgot what the necklace was supposed to look like and didn't realize that the bead pushed up and down to create the intended look. I wore it all day fully extended down and felt the weight of the beads and the tassel were off balance. Realized my mistake too late so tried it the real way when I got home. Definitely cuter, but not so significantly for me to want to try again. Also, be careful when you adjust the bead to create the Y shape. It pushes all the beads together and will pinch your neck skin if you're not careful.

Love the unique pattern and lines of this skirt. While the floral pattern has lots of blues, the borders and back are definitely black, which made pairing easy for me. Lightweight and upscale fabric was perfect for the all day client meeting I wore it to. I failed to steam out a few creases in the satin that I presume happened in shipping. Ordered for a wedding and was unsure about the sizing. Went with a 40, which was a little too snug for my liking, so ended up not wearing. I'm usually between a 2-4 in flexible fabric dresses. This one had enough give to get on, but a 42 would have provided a bit more breathing room. That said, I'm very broad, smallish chest, not a lot of curves. I felt that the extra fabric detail around the waist added bulk that my boobs couldn't offset, so even in the larger size, I'm not sure it would have been flattering for my build. The color is lovely, and the material is very nice. Cut of the top requires a strapless or no bra, but the thickness of the material should make that no problem for most gals.

Love love love the lines of this dress but wasn't able to wear as i couldn't get it to zip around my ribs (I have a broad chest and shoulders). I'm usually closer to a 4 in dresses, and was taking a chance with the 2, especially since the fabric has no give. Based on the unzippable gap, I'm guessing I have to go up to a 6. If you're on the fence, size up. Also note, the pattern and lines are beautiful, but the fabric seems like a cotton and is more casual than I expected. Light and airy though. Arrived with some wrinkles than would easily steam out, but I would be worried that it would wrinkle pretty easily with wear. Still might try again in a larger size on this one.

Rented this for an afternoon wine tasting event on a golf course in the Florida. I was thrilled to receive it new (tags on!) to notice that the chest tie is adjustable. I was able to tighten for my smallish chest, but bustier gals could also adjust for more room. I typically would wear a small but only medium was available. I ordered the XS based on availability, and some of the reviews commenting on the draped fit. Unfortunately, the "waistline" hit the broadest section of my rib cage and I couldn't effectively wrap it for coverage. I'm generally a size 2-4, but have a broad back and small chest. I couldn't get the 4 to zip all the way up, although I'm pretty convinced that my boobs would not have filled out a 6, so sizing up probably would not have worked for me. Even if it had zipped, I probably wouldn't have been comfortable wearing it due to how low the neckline plunges. I happened to have a unfortunate sunburn the would have looked ridiculous, but just didn't feel appropriate for my age and build. That said, the material and embroidery were gorgeous and vibrant.
