This dress is on trend and looks great on. It's a nice touch to have hooks for the parts that drape in between buttons, that is an awesome detail. The belt would've looked better on the front vs the back but like the other reviews show, you have space to add your own belt if needed. Would rent twice for sure. 

Love this combo of tailored and floral. Not a fan of shirt dresses until this one - perfect waist cinching and details. Even hook and eyes between the buttons so you don't gap. Will rent again!

This is the sort of dress that will never be out of place or go out of style.

Beautifully constructed with great details like the piping on the button side seam, this is a dress that will be noticed and complimented.

The reason I did not give this dress 5-stars is because it is a generously cut size 4 and wasn't particularly flattering on me in the torso. On the flip side, the chest was perfect for a D-cup and so sizing down would have been a mistake especially because the material has no give

This was a miss for me.  It felt and looked like a bathrobe.  It has an elastic belt pull in the back which really didn't do anything for me so I added another belt on top.  I should have sized down. 

Being a curvy girl (34D and 42" hips) , I usually stay away from button downs and definitely button down dresses, but the print on this Kate Spade dress was too good to not give it a shot, and I'm glad I did! The dress has just the right amount of elastic/stretch along the button front to be forgiving for curves and the waist is cinched in the back to give your body shape too! No pulling across my hips and no buttons mysteriously popping open. This is a winner!!

This dress is amazing. So pretty and comfortable. No wrinkles for a long day of work travel. I was worried it would look a bit frumpy but not at all. Tons of compliments. Definitely would rent again. 

Loved this dress and seriously considered purchasing. But, half of the buttons were strangely worn and rubbed away - fortunately you had to look closely to see this. Otherwise fantastic dress that was so flattering. I think this could be worn any season due to the darker colors but also floral print. I wish there were more notches in the adjustable back strap as it felt slightly loose. 

I rented this for a January baby shower and it was perfect. Super comfortable. It does run small - I am usually a 6 and am glad I ordered an 8 based on other reviews. 

I really enjoyed this shirt dress! It has a lovely print, a bit of stretch and an elastic band in the back to give it a bit of shape - women with hourglass figures don't be afraid, this dress works on us! 

Love Kate spade! Flattering dress, beautiful details. I'd buy this one if I let myself buy these dresses (which I don't). 

This dress is great for work. The material doesn't wrinkle which makes it a good choice for work travel. There are hidden closures around the waist to prevent gapping between buttons and it's a nice conservative length. Probably best if you are on the taller side because it's a midi length. 

This dress fits really nicely. There is an adjustable belt in the back of the dress. I like the cream piping as it provided contrast to the rest of the dress. Perfect for work

Beautifully made and love the pattern. The cinch in the back was a godsend, would not have liked it if I couldn't pull it in. I actually needed it past the buckle holes but it was able to stay cinched by carefully tucking it in the back. 

Nice transition dress from summer to fall because it has darker, rich colors, but it is lightweight. Easy to wear--I like the eye hooks along the button line to prevent peekaboo gaps. Sleeves are a bit long and I would size down if you are on the edge. I would give it a 5 if it was lined. 

This dress is very pretty and I got several compliments when  wore it. I think I would rent it again in the spring as the fabric is on the thin side and I think it would have be more appropriate when the weather is warmer. 

Great light fabric. Good idea to have hooks between buttons to keep everything closed. Fits TTS and got a lot of compliments. 

Such a versatile dress, good for work, dinner out, or a casual wedding. Would consider buying it, but kinda pricey still.

Love this dress.  Great print and really flattering.  I'm hourglass and I wasn't sure how this would look on me.  Turned out to be one of my favorite rentals.

Exactly what you what from a shirt dress: comfy and easy to wear, flattering and professional. The print is pretty. The fabric is luxe-feeling. I would rent again.

Lovely dress for a work event. It was covered up and menswear inspired but still feminine and pretty.

The only issue with this dress was the strange ruching in the stomach area. It was super noticeable,  but it was odd placement. The dress does run true to size

Nice lightweight work dress. Was excited that the back of the waistline was elasticized, which made it really comfy, and that there were eye hooks between the buttons in the mid-section (so no gapping). Sleeves were long enough for my long arms, but I did find the belt line to be a smidge too high (I'm long waited though).
