I was impressed with the cut - the shoulders and sleeves wer3e absolutely perfect to size. The fabric was nice too. I did find, however, that the body of the jacket was even boxier than I expected. It truly has a men's overcoat look/fit to it. I bit more than you can tell from the picture, I think.

What you can't see in the picture is that this bag has a shoulder strap. You can't detach it, and it goes diagonally from the two handles. This means that if you hold the bag from the handles, it has an awkward strap that doesn't hang nicely. And if you use the shoulder strap, the bag tends to twist because of the way it's attached. Otherwise, it's a good looking bag, the size of... a large chicken? Small enough that you can't pack it with 50 labs of crap; big enough to comfortably carry everything you need for the day

I found this dress to fit true to size. At 5'6" I thought the long would be longer but it was fine. Just couldn't wear my super high heels. Also had to pin the neckline so I could dance without any accidents. Otherwise it was a nice dress. Nothing super special but very nice for a wedding

This was a very nice dress, but the sizing was a little funky for me. I'm 5'6", a 34D, and pretty regularly wear a size 6 off the rack. But I rented this for a couple days after Thanksgiving, and am unfamiliar with how Slate & Willow dresses fit, so I got the 6L with the 8L as backup. Length-wise, the Long was perfect with some nice high heels. But the bodice sizing was off for me. The 6 was a little too tight in the waist (thanks, stuffing) but the 8 was way too big in the bust. If I owned it and got the strap taken in, it would have fit perfect, but as is, I think it may suit someone with a little bit longer torso. Or maybe the long is just for someone much taller, not just someone like me that likes to wear hooker height heels all the time? The only other thing I would point out is that this has a layer of crinoline underneath. It's not just poofed out for the picture, it's a little big in real life too. So it's definitely for a more formal event.

I didn't originally choose to rent this dress - it was sent to me as a backup after my original backup was either damaged or not returned on time. This dress still had the tags on it when I received it, so I know the dress hadn't been stretched or anything like that. I have hips, am a perky 34D, and pretty much always fit into a size 6. This dress was really cute, but ran large on me in a strange way. The waist fit snug, but the bust was huge. And the back open part really splayed for no reason. My boobs weren't stretching it out at all - if anything they were swimming. I didn't have a size 4 to try as a backup, so maybe that would have been better? It has boning and structure, but It feels like all the structure is done vertically, and there's nothing to hold it in around and against the torso. Could I have still worn it? Probably. But I'm glad one of the other options worked better and I didn't have to.

I said this runs true to size, even though I chose to size up in this one. First things first, I'm 5'6" and wore 4 in heels with this one, and the Long was perfect. Definitely glad I went with that option. The 6L fit, but it was very slim in the rib section right where it nips in, and I just didn't think I could eat and drink and dance through the whole evening and still continue to breathe comfortably. I got the 8L shipped to me overnight in time for my event (thanks for that RTR!) and it was much more comfortable. A bit roomy in the very top, but it does have the little snaps to hold your bra straps in place (yay for being able to wear a real bra!!), so it didn't slide off my shoulders or move too much. And like other reviewers have mentioned, it is only blue and black (contrary to how the picture looks) and the side panels on the hips are thick stretchy material, so it's very fitted but still no problem to sit down in. I think this is going to be a RTR favorite for sure!

This is a lovely bag for a formal affair. The heft is nice (not too... floppy?) and the size is plenty large enough for anything you may need pop in there. The black stones look very good, not cheap. Also has a dark gold-tone shoulder chain that has a nice weight to it.

I got the MR in this dress because the dress I was supposed to get had been returned in too poor quality to go to me. Bummer. RTR was kind enough to send me 2 other dresses, as options were rather slim at such a late date. I'm usually a 6, so if I had rented this on my own, I would have gone with the Small. But the Medium was all that was available so I gave it a shot. Good news: The dress is stretchy and super comfortable. It's all one piece and just slips on. Bad news: It runs big. If it had fit, I definitely would have worn it, it just looked a bit like a sack on me. I do think I'll try it another time in the right size though :) Oh, and at 5'6", the regular length was perfect with heels. Definitely wouldn't have gone for a long in this one.

A nicely cut dress for someone with an hourglass figure. Really nips in the waist, but had extra volume on the bottom so it wasn't too tight on the hips. Smooshed the boobs down a bit, but wasn't too bad. Only down side of the extra volume on bottom is that it bunched up a bit every once in a while so I had to keep smoothing it down. However, I would say it really wasn't that big of a problem, and I got so many compliments on it, it was still totally worth it. A very chic dress that I would definitely rent again.

I got this dress for a long day out in the sun. It was big in the top, but I didn't have a back-up size, so I went with it. It was cute and comfortable, but oddly, not super flattering in pictures. Not sure if it was that it was too big on me, or perhaps the cut in the front, but it for sure made me look bigger than it should have. However, I would still recommend it, because the color and comfort are definitely good.

I rented this dress for an engagement party. It was definitely appropriate and cute for the occasion. I ordered a 6 (my usual size) and an 8 for backup. I have wide hips, and sometimes dresses like this can be snug. There's no zipper, which is usually a sign I'll need a size up. But in this case, the 6 fit fine! (the 8 was HUGE on me) I will say, though, that it was a little long for my taste - with the boat neck and 3/4 sleeves, I would have preferred a hem that was a little shorter. Also, I would say that it was a little pricey for what it was. That said, though, I think anyone would be very happy with this dress - it will fit you well, and you'll get lots of compliments on the fun color!

LOVED this dress! I rented it for my husband's work Christmas party, which was a dinner for 17 at a fancy restaurant. It was absolutely perfect for the occasion. The fit was so flattering, and super comfortable for the whole evening. I wore it with champagne metallic peep-toe pumps, which made it a little more festive - the beads actually have some of that color to them. The only negative I have is this: I am a 34C, and if you look at the picture, the plain part of the dress around the neckline has a bit of a cowl to it? I was on the verge of being a little too big up top for the dress. The beaded part that's supposed to tuck in popped out a few times, so I had to be mindful of that. Otherwise, amazing!

GREAT DRESS! The fit was great, and SO flattering. If ordering a second size, I would go down one. I have hips, and sometimes dresses that fit well up top are too tight on the bottom. This was great all over! I got a ton of compliments and felt really comfortable all night! I will definitely rent this dress again.

This dress looked so nice in the picture - I was really excited to wear it to my event. But when I tried it on, I was totally disappointed. First, it looked way too old on me (and I'm 28). Also, the layers that looked cool in the photograph added a ton of bulk to the dress. I find that with my full hips, many dresses are too tight on the bottom, but this one was too big on the bottom! Over all I looked like an over-the-hill Jessica Rabbit, and opted to wear something I already owned instead. Bummer.

These were bigger than I was expecting, but very very cool. I got so many compliments!
