It is warm if worn with layers for 35-45 degrees f. It doesnt close so keep that in mind. Looks great with just abot anything simple underneath. 

pockets are great for holding phone or sunglasses. so so so warm 

I rented this coat to wear in the evenings during a trip to NYC, and I absolutely LOVED it. It hangs SO nicely. There are no buttons, zippers, etc., so it just hangs open (I'm 20 weeks pregnant here, so it's great for preggo ladies, too!). The material isn't stiff or crazy heavy, so it's very comfortable to wear. It also travels well and wasn't wrinkled from being in my suitcase. Would love to purchase it, but the husband says no. 

I attended an industry event in Banff Canada that had a style guide of chateau chic, this was the perfect amount of elevated "plaid" 

Perfect light weight coat! It went well with pretty much everything I own (and rent). I loved the loose fit and boxy shape. I didn't want to send it back!!

Wore this gorgeous coat to work! It kept me warm in a cold office. I sized down and it fit perfectly! I probably would have fit my regular size too. I typically send items back after one wear but keeping this for another week! 

I loved this jacket so much! It isn't super heavy but it kept me warm the entire time I was in Sweden. Also, it doesn't close but it was big enough to wrap myself in so it wasn't a problem.

If it didn't look so worn, I probably would have bought it.

I rented this for everyday wear in the autumn weather. I could throw it on over every outfit and it worked. It was big enough to fit a sweater under and fitted enough to wear over a sleek dress. Loved the classic look 

This coat is by far my favorite rental! I had my doubts when it first arrived as it was obvious that it had been worn and washed several times before I had received it. But I've had it for over a month now with my unlimited subscription and receive compliments on it almost every time I wear it. It essentially works for any occasion, whether casual or more dressy. It's also warm without being too heavy. I recommend going up one size as it gets tight in the arms when layering; plus it'll provide more of that over-sized look. 

Words cannot describe how much I love this jacket! I received so many compliments and it pairs so well with anything. I do recommend ordering your current size as it can be constricting in the arms as the fabric has no stretch. Also, make sure to layer underneath, since this is a wool jacket, it can be itchy. Too bad it's so expensive or else I would purchase it in a heartbeat! 

This jacket was super cute. It was pretty thin, so not for super cold days but great for a light fall day. It looked expensive & I felt very fashionable in it. It does not close, I think it's meant to be worn open, that didn't bother me at all though. Definitely a like! 

I loved this coat and received so many compliments. It works well for moderate and cold weather depending on how you layer it.  If you want  to layer thick sweaters, I suggest sizing up.  SO comfortable and the texture is very luxe. I would consider purchasing it 

Fit perfectly and was great for a San Francisco summer where the weather is cool. Wore it to work and out to dinners. 

I ordered a size 4 and a size 6 and the size 4 fit me perfectly. The coat has just the right amount of material and swing. It is extremely flattering and transitions well from day to night. It looks stunning with an all black and white ensemble. Overall I was very pleased, and I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

This is a big swingy car coat made me feel classy just on a low key Friday night. I'm petite but it came to my knees. No closure but easy and cozy to wrap - would totally keep it!

I love this coat! The material is a very light weight but still thick enough to keep you warm in the chilly months. This jacket does not have a button closure so if you want to keep it on the casual side you can enhance the open front with a blanket scarf  or dress it up by pairing it with a black dress and boots like I did for work! Also, it does run slightly large, so I recommend sizing down!

This coat was good for a (very) chilly spring day. It feels a little bulky, and the lack of any closure (no buttons, zippers, etc) was not ideal with the weather, but overall I enjoyed wearing it. 

I enjoyed this rental a lot, as it was chic and easy to blend into the rest of my wardrobe. It was good on moderately cold and windy weather and added to a great everyday look. 

Gave it 4 stars because:

1. My skin can be pretty sensitive and I found the sleeves a little itchy. 
2. Sleeves were pretty short on me and the fabric looked and felt cheaper than what the retail reflects. 

I really have enjoyed this coat.  I ordered the 8 because the 10 wasn't available and I was concerned it would be too small in the arms/shoulders, but it was fine!  I've worn it a number of different ways - with skinny black jeans and stilettos, with boyfriend style jeans and loafers, and with regular jeans and cowboy boots - very versatile!   My husband even complimented it!  Minus one star because the inside has some itchy parts and I've been wearing with tank tops/short sleeved tops underneath and it's a bit annoying.  

Overall I liked this jacket - love the black and white look. It also looked heavier than it actually was;  I 'd say it would be good for temps between 40-50 degrees. My sweater top didn't have sleeves and I felt warm. It was a little itchy though.

I took this to Boston with me on my bday trip. I wore the size 6 because the size 4 was a little snug in the arms if you wore a sweater underneath. It's definitely more of a spring/fall jacket. So be aware to not brave the tundra in this one. Other than that it was a great Jacket. I had so many compliments throughout the day. I would rent again. 

I loved it and so did everyone else. The arms are a bit short though

I was supposed to wear this with a black outfit underneath for a winter photo shoot (got cancelled due to a bad snowstorms). I'm kind of glad i didn't wear it for my pictures because this was more of a Fall coat- I would have been so cold- and it wasn't as form fitting as I would have liked- runs a bit big. I actually wanted to rent other coats for the occasion but none were available. 
Still, so cozy for a day date & a night out. I felt beautiful wearing it! 

I really liked this winter white coat! It was the perfect length and the pattern was sophisticated and beautiful. I will definitely be renting this again!

Great jacket to contrast with all of the black we wear in winter. Pro: great length, good warmth, comfortable, true to size. Con: no clasp in the front so it stays open. Would recommend belting it or with a big scarf. 

order 2 sizes down.  This also doesn't have a belt or any type of closure.

The fit was wonderful, true to size, if between sizes go down for a more tailored look.  It is lightweight and there are no buttons, so probably not meant to weather intense cold.  I got so many compliments though, and really wanted to buy it! Sorry my file won't work to upload but I would definitely recommend! 

I kept this coat for 3 months this winter as part of my update subscription and got more compliments on it than anything else I rented.  It was really hard to send back.  It made every outfit I paired it with look pulled together and dressed up.  It is a little bit boxy and oversized but in a flattering way.  I will be renting this coat again next year!

Love love love this coat. The fit is a little boxy which I like, but size down if you want a more fitted look. It's not super warm but good for fall/spring or layered with a sweater on a warm winter day. Looking out for the day this is added to the clearance sale...

I think it runs a little large.  I can go between 6 and 4 but the 4 was unavailable so I went with the 6 but it was definitely bigger than needed.  But would rent again!

I originally had rented this coat for a fun day out in the city. I live in Denver, so cute coats and jackets are a necessary for the crisp weather here. However, life happens. Instead of the fabulous day I had planned, I ended up in the hospital with a kidney infection. Nevertheless- I brought the jacket. (I wasn't going to waste a cute outfit because my body wasn't cooperating!) And while I cannot scientifically back this up, I really do think this jacket helped me heal quicker. Do I also think the doctors were quicker to check up on me and nurses more responsive to my symptoms? Yes. And I blame it on Waverly Grey. So -- if you believe in the power of cute clothing: rent. this. coat. 

I ordered this through my unlimited subscription and loved it! It might run large but I liked the oversized fit so I thought it was perfect. It looked great with jeans and a silk top for a casual Friday at work and then out for drinks after. 

This coat was great—I kept it for several weeks. It's not super warm (and doesn't button or close in front), but it was perfect for 50ish degree days. Wore it with both nice work dresses and over workout clothes. I totally considered buying it!

Not a super warm coat but perfect for everyday work and under a LBD. Fit was a little long in the sleeves but everything else was perfect. 

Fit was true to size. Great for medium chilly nights as it is not made for extreme weather.

I rented this coat for a weekend "in the city." Also, I am looking for a new winter coat, and I am trying out several styles on RTR before making a purchase. I would definitely buy this coat, if I could. It is warm, stylish, and easy to dress-up or dress-down. I enjoyed wearing it, and I received lots of compliments.
