I took this to a charity gala and auction, and it was the perfect size.  The inside has built-in credit card slots, which I love when I am not carrying a full wallet.  It was large enough to fit cash and cards, a checkbook, large phone, rollerball, lipgloss, and floss and not look overstuffed, but it was small enough to still be formal.  I carried it as a clutch, but it does have a chain, as well.  

Super superrrr cute!!! Wore 3 black outfits and matched every one of them!! Perfect length and size!! Wish I could buy it :-)

I LOVE this Kate Spade bag!!! it is perfection. If I could afford it, I would buy it. The satin is such a quality, heavy weight and the chain handle adds that something unique. The black rhinestone clasp is simple but beautiful. The lining of the bag is gorgeous. Love Kate. I wore this with the Adrienne Pappell lace zip back dress in black,.

This was the perfect clutch for the wedding I attended last October. It also had a chain strap. 

This is a lovely bag for a formal affair. The heft is nice (not too... floppy?) and the size is plenty large enough for anything you may need pop in there. The black stones look very good, not cheap. Also has a dark gold-tone shoulder chain that has a nice weight to it.

I rented this bag for a weekend. I carried it to see a pre-Broadway show at the Kennedy Center and then the next night to a semi-formal fundraising party. It looked perfect with both outfits! Big enough to hold the essentials (phone, cards/cash, powder, lipstick, etc) but not bulky at all. I'd love to buy a bag just like it!

Great size and fit all the essentials: phone, comb, lipstick, gum, ID, and cash.  Was not bulky with all of the items in there. Loved it!

although the dress was not a great fit the clutch was beautiful

I had a Gala to attend and wanted a "clutch" that I didn't have to carry around in my hand all night long.  This purse worked perfectly as it was small like a clutch but had a long strap that you could use to throw over your shoulder when you wanted.  With a wine glass in one hand it was nice to have the other hand free to open doors or pull my dress up a bit when walking up stairs.  It fit my phone, camera, id and money, lip gloss and boyfriends wallet without any problem.

This was elegant and the perfect size/length. It was roomy but not too bulky: The inside has slots to hold various cards, and I also kept cash, some lip gloss, and a phone in there with room to spare. Though I failed at trying to shove my flats in there, I didn't actually expect that to work :D Highly recommended! I will definitely be buying a similar bag after this.

I loved this clutch - perfect for the wedding I attended because it held all of my essentials!

The cocktail hour went long for the wedding I went to. There was no place to sit or put our things. This bag did not dig into my shoulder or give me a sore neck! It was perfect for all of the things I needed, but not too big that people were bumping into it while it was draped on my chair.

I got so many compliments about the bag. It was the perfect size and the chain made it easy to carry. Inside it makes it easy to store all your items. 

This is a beautiful clutch.  The size was perfect.  Fit everything I needed: phone, camera, cash/cc, touch-up makeup & more.  

Such a good size clutch, has a chain strap that is a great shorter length. The jewels are a bit grabby on delicate things like lace so you have to be a bit conscious of what you put it next to! 

Be careful of the beads on the front as they may snag on the dress you're wearing.

Looks just like the picture.  Very well made and functional.  I liked that it had enough room for wallet, phone, make-up (and whatever else you need to carry with you for a night out) and I could actually close it!  Great rental.

I actually canceled my order because I was not going to the event I originally rented it for but I loved it when I saw it in the packaging. The fabric looks very chic and the beads are not gaudy like I thought they'd be. It was smaller than people made it seem like but larger than the average skinny clutch. From what I saw, it looked like even my iPhone5 in an Otterbox could fit in there, as well as a small wallet and a couple of cosmetic items.

I loved this purse. It is great quality - it looks and feels expensive.  Also, it is a great size. I was able to carry my phone, camera, lip gloss and ID/card case.  And the straps made it super cute and comfortable to carry!

This bag was large enough to carry my touch up makeup, my phone, and my husbands things. It was so classy and elegant. Beware of the studs and lace though. It got caught in my gown a couple of times. Love it and want to rent it again!

The size was so great. It fit more than just my phone and my makeup. The black rhinestones on the front gave it a nice touch for a night out with the girls.

Loved the bag, was bigger than I expected but turned out to be perfect.

I used this clutch twice in one weekend and I loved that not only could I hold it like a clutch, but also that I had the option to wear it as a purse. There was much more room inside than I was expecting- in a great way. The beads did catch my dress a few times but other than that it was perfect. 

This elegant little clutch is great. Unlike all those tiny little evening bags that you struggle to close and force you to choose between your iPhone and your lipstick this bag holds everything:  Cell phone, makeup, keys, money, credit cards, a little hairbrush, you name it.  Goes with everything and looks terrific; seem to think that it even has a little chain if you want to hang it off your shoulder.  Super practical!

This is a good subtle purse to go with a more noticeable dress.

Loved this Kate Spade clutch. Was understated which went perfectly with my dress for a black tie wedding. It was such a great size, I didn't want something that was going to be too small to fit anything in it. I had my iPhone, some touch up makeup and even my phone charger in there. It was a perfect clutch and well worth the price! 

Satin in great condition. 4 stars only because this is not my style. Too basic and plain . Sent to me for unlimited due to other items unavailable. 

I really loved this clutch, it was the perfect size and fit everything I needed for the wedding I attended. My only complaint was that the jewels were completely secure in their settings and a few fell out (I got them all back in!). I just did a check every so often that they were all secure in their settings. Even with the minor mishap, I still really like the purse. I'd rent it again. 

Held everything I needed and then some. There were a couple of marks on the clutch, but nothing too noticeable. 

be careful carrying this because the beading on the front can snag your dress

I loved the simplicity and size of this clutch - just what I needed! The reason for 4 stars is because the gems on the front were rather loose and I was very afraid to loose them throughout the night. Other than that, this clutch is perfect!

I am somehow currently lacking a black clutch in my wardrobe so I rented this one for my work's holiday party.  It was a great, classic black clutch that did the trick.  Held all my essentials with no problem.... iPhone, small wallet, keys, lipgloss.  There's a gold chain tucked inside that converts this clutch into a proper handbag.  The fabric of the cluch itself was very  sleek, but I did think the rhinestone detailing was a cheap production.  If it weren't for the Kate Spade label I would've thought this item came from Claire's or Express, just proves that sometimes with these high-end labels you are paying for the name, not the quality.  A sample of a Victor & Rolf perfume was tucked inside, which was a very nice touch.   Thanks R the R! 

Perfect size if you need more than a cell phone, id, and credit card. I really liked that I could fit more of my things inside this evening bag. It's also versatile; you can either wear it as a clutch or as a shoulder bag because it has a nice gold chain shoulder strap. This was a replacement bag that was chosen by a RTR stylist because my original pick was damaged beyond repair. The team at RTR was fabulous about notifying me, replacing it with a comparable bag, and shipped it overnight.
