Has potential!
I really wanted this to work out but it is just not for small chested girlies. The top did not lay flat and I tried all the fashion tape but the boning was too strong to manipulate. The length was fine for me in 3 inch heels!

Constant compliments all night long
Loved this dress and so did everyone else! I wore it to a black tie optional wedding and it stood out in such a great way. The length was perfect for me to wear with 2 inch heels… so taller girls take caution and check out reviews of ladies blessed with height. I also rented it with the Cult Gaia Azariah top handle purse and it was… chefs kiss!

Loved this puffer by Farm Rio! It is oversized on purpose so size down 1-2 sixes for something more fitted. The reverse side is cute but I preferred the crochet detail on the main side.

Runs really large. I have a smaller frame, so it hit me at a weird spot on my hips and made me look like Hershey Kiss. I would say try sizing down two sizes minimum.

Beautiful unique dress!
The fit is true to size - I wanted to wear the XS but the straps wouldn't tighten and stay tight. It looked like the clasp was broken on it. So I wore the small and it was a little loose in some areas but not really noticeable. I'm 5'2" and it fit me mid-calf which is a little long for a midi, but it didn't look awkward to me because the lace is sheer at the bottom. The green is so vibrant - like a true emerald color. I wore with gold heels and jewelry.

PRO: Great color, flattering fit, fun abstract design CON: NONE! This dress is great but like all E&J dresses, size up! I usually wear a 2/4 and wore the 4. I would have worn the 6 but there was a small stain on it so I had to suck in to a 4!

Perfect outdoor wedding guest dress!
LOVED this dress for my outdoor wedding. The material was nice and thick and the color was beautiful. It's much brighter in person than my picture and I received so many compliments. Yes, the zipper is a pain but totally worth it!

An Elizabeth and James dud.
I usually LOVE all my Elizabeth and James rentals but this one really missed the mark. I usually wear a size 4 and rent a 6 for my backup since E&J runs small... but this dress ran large! The four was not fitted and the material was thin/cheap feeling and wrinkled SO easily. After sitting for only 20 min I had wrinkles for the rest of the evening (not cute).

Pear girls beware!
It is hard for me to find a shift dress that isn't tight around the behind. Well this one did the exact same thing I feared so consider sizing up if you are like me!

I loved the color of this dress but it simply just fit me weird. There is no stretch so maybe go a size up for backup! On my 5'3 frame it was pretty long but appropriate for the event I attended.

Super comfortable and unique!
So I'm pretty flat chested so the top was fairly large on me. It was a little baggy but it was SO comfortable and I got a lot of compliments. Chilly day in Chicago so I wore it with tights and booties.

Happy that I ordered a back up size!
SO typically with E&J I am a size 4 or 6. I ordered the S with a M as my backup. SURE glad I ordered a backup because the slip on the small was a little tight around my behind and the material has no stretch. I ended up wearing the M slip with the Small lace overlay and it was perfect! I was worried about the material being snagged by a necklace or bracelet so I wore it with fun statement earrings.

Beautiful print and easy to wear!
Free People runs large, my friends! I opted for the XS because there was so much room under the arms and at the waist. The tie in the back wouldn't go small enough for my waist so I followed another review and tied it in the front. It's not as cute as in the back but it did give me more of a shape which I liked. I'm giving it 4 stars because the fit was a little off for me.

Fun, Flirty and LOTS of compliments!
So I am a BIG fan of E&J dresses so this review might be a little bias! I've rented 3 other dresses so sizing I know to just go up to a 4 or 6 when I'm typically a 2 or 4. For this dress I wore the 4 because the 6 was loose in the chest. I have a SMALL chest so anything bigger I would probably have to have worn the 6. The best part...you can wear a NORMAL bra (if you want) but also the material was thick enough if you did not want to. I'm 5'2 and the dress hit about 3 inches above the knee.

Fun and easy dress to wear for any occasion!
Wore this to a rehearsal dinner. It was really easy and fun to wear... I WISH I remembered to take a picture because we were laughing about the length on my 5'2 frame. It was a little awkward which all midi dresses kind of are if I don't have them hemmed.

Perfect INDOOR summer wedding dress!
Yet another amazing piece by E&J! Fits true to size and lands just above the knee on my 5'2 frame. Cut outs make it fun and flirty without being inappropriate for church service. The material is very thick so wouldn't recommend for a hot outdoor wedding. Got tons of compliments and I would definitely rent again!

Easy to dress up or down!
Since I am smaller on top than bottom, the extra small fit great! Really cute dress that I wore to a graduation and was able to pair it with a denim jacket and saddles during the day and then work colorful pumps at night for dinner. The length was perfect for my 5'2 frame but could be a little on the short side for anyone taller than 5'5. Overall I would totally rent this again!

The dress was so fun to wear! The colors are beautiful and the open back was just the right amount of sass with still being classy. I just wish I could have tried a size 2 cause the 4 was very roomy on top!

Total stand out dress in a sea of LBD & Sequins!
The pros: perfect length on my 5'2" frame with 4" heels! So unique that it stood out in a great way! The cons: the back cut out bubbled due to me not filling out the front. Like other reviewers said, lots of extra room by the underarms. I would 100% rent this again! Maybe next time I would try to use fashion tape to keep the back in place. Give it a try!

Like other reviews said, it does run a bit snug. I'm typically a size 2 but I rented the 4&6. Honestly I could have worn the 6 too but the length was better on the 4 for someone my height. I would 100% rent this again! So many compliments!

I wanted to sparkle without stealing the show and this was the perfect gown!
The zipper was my nightmare. The sequins make it difficult to zip up no matter the size. The 2P was not available so I had to do the 2R and it was a little long on my 5'2" frame. It was beautiful though and super fun to wear to a black tie wedding.
