I rented this dress for my friends birthday party.  I ordered an xs and s and ended up going with the s.  It fit better in the waist/stomach area.  This dress is heavy enough to where it covers your flaws. So you don't have to worry about spanx or anything like that.  I'm 5'4 and it came a couple inches above my knee.  Danced the night away and had no issues at all moving around in it. The only thing I will say is that the dress photographs black-and-white but it's actually somewhat of a cream color as opposed to white. That didn't bother me at all but I just wanted to point that out. Absolutely loved this dress and would definitely recommend and rent it again.

I rented this for a night out to celebrate my birthday. 
I loved everything about this dress. I ordered both the XXS and XS and I ended up wearing the XS. This dress runs true to size and is very fitted. I couldn't wear a bra with the dress and it took 2 of my friends to zip me up. Once I was in my dress it was very comfortable and I was able to dance all night in it. 
The details of the dress are amazing and the color is a creamy off white with some tan detailing, the online picture made the dress look white and black. 
I received many compliments and I felt fantastic in the dress. 


A snug and classy number. Wore it to Vegas. It definitely runs small - I always wear the smallest size available and I could barely zip up the XS (the XXS was out of the question). Once it was on though, it was surprisingly comfortable. The top is definitely a bit strange and not particularly flattering in the chest area, but the pattern is unique, flattering on the rear and the perfect length.

I wore this to my bachelorette party. Between the body con fit and the structure of the thicker fabric, I didn't even need to wear Spanx! I will absolutely be renting this designer again!

Wore to NYE black and white party. It was completely unique and drew a lot of attention! It fit perfectly, even though I was nervous about fitting into the XS (backup size was unavailable and hello booty and boobs) The only part that was super tight was the black, cross-shaped section around my ribs but as others have said in reviews, the dress expands a bit after wearing for about 20 minutes. The fabric is thick and durable which makes for a very comfortable wear and all of your bits will stay in place -- no bra required! There were absolutely no cons to this dress

The dress was a real stunner! Fun pattern, flattering fit, keeping everything in with the thick Herve material.  This one was slightly stretched out in the wrong areas for me, but would rent again! 

I wore this dress for my husband's birthday - we went out partying, dancing, drinking - this is a great clubbing dress.  I wore my back up size the Small (instead of XS) because it's a lot more comfortable and I feel like I can move and breathe in the size up.  The XS fits but it's very skin tight.  The Small on the other hand is still tight but breathable.  This was not necessarily my favorite dress, but my husband's face was worth wearing it for him. I felt like it didn't flatter my body, made my chest look a little smaller, but I was comfortable.  Able to wear a regular bra with it which is always a huge plus.  I think if I had worn a padded bra I might have felt a little sexier.  I would recommend this rental.

I was a bit nervous renting this dress, because they didn't have my backup size. Lucky for me, the size small was a perfect fit! The dress was stretchy and comfortable, and I received a ton of compliments. It is definitely unique-- you will not blend in with the crowd! Overall I loved the dress, especially the price!

The dress was a bit longer than I had planned. The material also didn't hug me the way other Herve dresses do. I would not rent this again.

I absolutely love this dress!  I have rented it twice.  The first time they only had XS and M and I ended up wearing the medium.  The second time I was able to get the small which fit like a second skin.  I got tons of compliments and felt amazing in it.  Was also able to dance all night with no issues.  Would definitely rent again!

The fit is a bit smaller than some Herve because of the black stripe across the waist but as always, you cannot go wrong with an Herve dress. It did not ride up at all and I never felt like I had to keep yanking on the dress. I wore a strapless bra with it.

I am obsessed with Herve leger! The dresses always fit great and the material is thick so it sucks you in.. I wore a M but wish the SM was available to rent. The medium bunched up with extra fabric, it fit with room. The small would have been perfect! Amazing dress! 

I had initially reserved the Temptation Rising dress for my pre-birthday dinner date. I immediately loved the style and I have an unhealthy obsession with pink so it was perfect. Unfortunately, the day before it was supposed to arrive, I was notified that it wouldn't be able to ship for certain reasons :( I was soo bummed and "settled" for this dress (it wasn't even my first choice of alternatives). THANK GOD this was the first available one they could ship out to me. The pattern isn't too busy and the style is just so unique. I agree with the other reviewers that the band under the breast area has no give, but once you zip it up you can't tell. It form fits to your body and accentuates the important parts ;) The color is more of a cream and has subtle gold accents.

Some minor gripes I had with this dress - I received the XXS and XS. Upon comparing the two (one on top of the other), I found that the XXS was actually LARGER than the XS. I guess it's been stretched out from constant wear. I tried both on and the XXS just sat awkwardly on my body, while the XS hugged it perfectly. Good thing I ordered both! Also, being on the shorter side, the length ended up at the top of my knees and made me look too matronly. I experimented and tucked a good chunk of it under to get a mid-thigh length. Luckily, the material is thick enough that it stayed up the entire night!

Overall, absolutely loved the dress! I didn't want to take it off while my bf wanted the opposite.

Loved this dress! I'm a 36DD with a short torso. I couldn't get the medium zipped up past the girls so I had to wear the medium. The large fit my bust well but was a little loose in the body. I was able to wear a regular bra with it. I wore a pair of k-deer shorts underneath. Totally happy with the whole experience.  

Little tight and as others said heavy - but was not hot - I had to wear the larger since the back was unable to zip but does hug you and helps hide anything needed - lots of looks as well as free drinks!

I was hoping for a 'mini' length dress for a night in Vegas, but I suppose since I'm waaaay shorter than the model in the photos I should have known it would be longer on me! Either way, it's a cool dress - very different in cut and print than anything else that friends wore!

The fit was very flattering. The graphics and yoke were so unique. I got lots of positive comments on this dress! Loved wearing it. 

I wasn't so sure that I would be crazy about this dress when it came in the mail. When I tried it on, I had to choose the Medium because there was no give in the chest/bust area. I felt pretty fabulous after I added accessories and some killer 6-inch heels. I received so many compliments from WOMEN on this dress and how beautiful it made me look. The guys just gave me a lot of stares and my boyfriend couldn't keep his hands off me. You'll definitely get attention in this dress!

The dress is true to size and although it's very form fitting the dress is extremely comfortable.  It also compliments the figure from hugging in all the right places. I will definitely be renting this dress again.

I was worried about it showing everything as I am not stick thin and the dress is very tight, but it worked out well. I did end up wearing spanx underneath to help smooth everything out and to help with my own self-consciousness, but I wouldn't say I really needed them as the dress does a pretty good job by itself :).  My other concern was that it would be too short because I'm almost 6ft tall, but thankfully that wasn't a problem either. The dress does loosen up throughout the night, as others have said, and it doesn't feel uncomfortable to wear, even though it's a tight dress. My only con, which really isn't a con, is that the fabric is thick and I did get warm wearing it. All in all it was a great dress and I am very happy with my first RTR experience! Can't wait to rent another Herve!

It was stretched out, I could fit in the XS but needed room because I was going to stuff my face and drink all night.



I was nervous to order an Xs because Herve doesn't always fit the girls, but this dress actually worked! While it was a little tight on the back, it was still fun to dance in! 

This Herve dress is bold with the black and ecru tones. The added details include killer curve defining piping and strategic placement of print. This dress is well worth a wear!

Wore it to Drake at the W Scottsdale for Superbowl Weekend and got a million compliments. I am super petite with a gymnast body build so I simply just folded the band up to make it a bit shorter! 

I originally wanted to rent this for my bday, but it was sold out, so glad I got to rent it this time. The dress fit really great! Exactly what I wanted.  The fabric on Herve dresses holds in everything so well. I also looked at a few strapless herve styles at the Vegas boutique,  but I wouldn't recommend the strapless style for girls with tiny busts, unless you've got a good push-up strapless bra, as it totally flattened me out.

Loved the bandage material it was snug but was also stretchy which made it pretty comfortable to wear. Perfect length, didn't have to keep pulling the dress down. It was very tight around the black cross in the front but i got use to it throughout the night. Overall, I loved the dress! 

Not meant for anyone who has larger than a B cup. Great news is no spanx needed! Rented both the xs and s and definitely needed the S. Sucks you in but definitely shows all your curves 

The fit was amazing.  Tight but comfortable.  Built-in "cleavage protection" (sexy but not trashy).  Compliments all night.

Cool pattern.. But this  one was very stretched out.  The XS would have fit me so much better 

I absolutely love this dress. It holds everything perfectly! It's especially tight in the black band right below the bust, so it may be necessary to size up. Otherwise I loved wear this dress! I felt like a movie star! :) 

Fits tight, I am not very big at the top so it was perfect. Comfortable and stretchy.
