I was expecting to really love this dress based on the reviews, but it wasn’t one of my personal favorites. The color is gorgeous and the overall construction of the dress is really well done. However, I felt that the neckline was just a little too low for my personal comfort. It was pretty much impossible to wear a strapless bra without it showing so I went braless but felt self conscious about that area. I also felt like the sleeves were falling down a bit and the waistline made me look bigger than I am. Overall it was a fine choice for a wedding but I wouldn’t rent it again.

I found the length to be very long and the dress to be large overall (I’m typically between a size 4-6 and the 2 was even a little large). Even if it did fit, the top constantly rolled down so that the nonslip elastic on the inside was visible, which made the construction seem cheap to me.

I have never received more compliments about a dress in my life! I ordered both a small and a medium because I’m often between sizes but the small fit perfectly. Super figure hugging and the length was just right for me to wear 3 inch heels (great considering I’m petite!). The fabric is so gorgeous and the photos really don’t do it justice - the pattern is a mix of embroidery and sequins. I didn’t find the fabric to be scratchy or itchy at all. I wore a strapless bra but you could easily go braless if you prefer.

I wore this dress to a wedding and felt really confident and comfortable. The silhouette is really flattering and I never felt overly exposed with either the high slit or lower neckline. I was able to easily dance and drop it low with my friends! Beware that there is no zipper on this dress so if you’re curvy like me, it can be difficult to get on and off. I also found the side seams didn’t lay flat at my hips causing a wavy effect - this was the case on both sizes I rented. Ultimately I liked the dress enough to wear it anyway, but if this bothers you, you may want to rent something else. The size 6 fit well, I also think I could have fit into a 4 if it was available. The length was perfect for my 5’2” frame with some 3 inch heels.

This dress was so darn close to being the perfect fit and that's extremely difficult to come by when you're both petite and a bit pear shaped. My only wish was that the straps were adjustable as they were maybe 1/8th of an inch too long and kept falling down. The fabric is gorgeous and high quality in person. It was very difficult to get the zipper up, so I needed my fiancé's help. I also found the top to be a little revealing, but didn't feel overly exposed.

I ordered this dress knowing that it was a little bit of a gamble, but it definitely didn't work for my shape. I vary between a 0-4 and could barely get the size 2 over my hips! Once I did get it on, it pulled strangely in the hips and overall wasn't very flattering. The length was long for my petite frame, but I think heels would have made it work. Be wary if you are a pear/apple shape, I think this dress is better suited for straight-and-narrow girls.

Being short at 5' 2", I definitely took a risk renting this dress. Luckily, the length ended up being really flattering and hit right below the knee. I decided to pair it with platform heels to provide myself with some additional height. The back of this dress is GORGEOUS, but be warned that the top runs a little large. I ended up wearing a size 0, and it fit pretty much perfectly, but I did have a little room to spare in the top. I wore a sticky bra to fill it out a little more, but I don't think it was super noticeable. Overall, gorgeous dress and amazing fabric for a fall wedding (almost like upholstery). So happy I decided to give this dress a try!

I threw a surprise birthday party for my mom and wanted a casual yet cute dress to wear. I actually rented a different dress for the occasion, and was informed by RTR customer service that the dress I ordered was damaged/not returned in time so they would be sending me something else. Admittedly, I was wary at first and a bit disappointed, but I have to say that RTR continues to impress me. When I received the order and tried on the dress - it fit perfectly. I honestly think that I liked this dress more than my original rental! The silhouette can easily be worn by multiple body types and the pattern made it a little more casual for a daytime birthday party. The front cutout and hem really amped up the style and made it unique. It can also easily be dressed up or down - I chose to wear sandals for a more casual feel. The color & plunging neckline of this romper was perfect for a night out in Atlantic City with some friends. Unfortunately, I found the sequins to be uncomfortable due to the way that they rubbed on my thighs while walking/dancing. The neckline was great but I felt myself adjusting it pretty frequently. I imagine this issue could have been easily fixed with fashion tape, but it really didn't bother me all that much. I think that if they fabric was different, it would have been perfectly. The tailoring was great and you can easily adjust the straps to fit a multitude of body types.

I actually really liked this dress, mostly because I felt like I could style it a million ways. I also tend to prefer dresses with a fit and flare style, so I enjoyed the way that this dress fit my body shape. I really wanted to wear the 2, as it fit a little more snug and was an inch or so shorter, but it had a weird wrinkle in the hem that I couldn't get rid of. I ordered both the 2 and 4, but ended up going with the smaller size. It was definitely a little tight in the upper arm/shoulder and I felt constricted when trying to lift my arms up. The bust, stomach, and hip areas fit fine, but this dress also felt tight at the bottom. The hem has no stretch and is definitely tighter than the hip area of the dress. I am definitely hippy with bigger thighs, so I felt that my stride was shortened when walking. It was also slightly uncomfortable when sitting down because I could feel how tight it was. The dress was beautifully made and the sequins weren't itchy at all! Overall, not my favorite rental, but I'm glad that I tried a new silhouette!

I've rented probably close to 15 dress from RTR, but this one definitely takes the cake as my favorite! The colors are so vibrant yet the black contrast makes the pattern easy on the eyes. I rented both the 2 and 4 but ultimately ended up going with the larger size. While the 2 fit, I found that it was a little tight in the hip area, which caused it to ride up and create a ripple affect (which isn't a good look on anyone). I have a pear body shape (in addition to being petite), but thought the length and fit worked well with my body type. I paired it with nude heels and rented some pink earrings to go with it, but you really don't need many accessories as this dress definitely speaks for itself!

I absolutely loved the fit of this dress. One of my Concerns was the sequins, which I've found to be itchy on many other garments. The sleeves have a strip of fabric at the wrist that shields your hand/skin from getting scraped by the sequins that are on the sleeves. Since I'm petite (5' 2"), a lot of dresses tend to be a little too long for me; however, this dress hit a few inches above the knee, which I felt was appropriate for a fancy dinner date with my boyfriend. As I had read in other reviews, the top was definitely tight. I have an average size chest (C) but my waist is tiny so the size 40 was too baggy in the mid-section. I ended up going with the 38.
