The material is kind of like scuba gear which was not wise for a mid-summer outdoor wedding in Texas. But nevertheless, I got endless compliments which made me feel like a goddess. A sweaty, sweaty goddess.

For my first RTR rental I rented this dress for my daughter's Homecoming.  She is a slender size 2 and the fit was perfect. She received so many compliments and was very comfortable the entire night. Her favorite part about the dress was the pockets. My only Con: I sent my husband to return it and he put it in a Fedex box instead of a UPS one. There is a fee but the smile on her face was worth it! Will be Renting The Runway again soon!   

I am 5'0" 115lbs, athletic body . I ordered the 2 and 4. The 4 was still a little snug around the mid section but fit well. This is a heavier dress then it appears. Which was fine but I didn't realize from the pictures . The top had a weird roll or something as you can see in the picture if you really look. But it was fine. I would recommend the dress 

This is the second dress I've rented from Cynthia Rowley and I love how they fit me! The top is nice and fitted and the bottom has a fun and flirty flare. Wore this to a wedding and received a ton of compliments on the pattern... Was a big step above an ordinary LBD! Once again, RTR doesn't disappoint! Another satisfied customer!

I had intended on renting a size 0, but only a size 2 was available. As expected, it was a little large in the chest. I wore a bombshell bra to fill it out, and it ended up looking great! The fabric is thick and neoprene-like, and the dress has a strong zipper. I would recommend this flattering dress to anyone!

I'm 8 months post baby and not all of the weight is gone, we had a family wedding and I wanted to make sure that I had a dress to feel comfortable in and look fashionable. I loved the vibrant colors on this dress, the other pictures that I previewed on RTR did not do the colors justice and I hope that mine help to see the pink, coral and lavenders that really popped on the black background. The high neck was great and made it so that I didn't need to add a necklace but could wear statement earrings. The material was heavier than I expected (noted in other reviews) but stretchy and comfortable, even in 100+ degree weather! The length was a little shorter than I normally wear but not so short that I couldn't wear the long length spanx underneath. What was especially exciting for me was the pockets! Not that I needed to carry anything in them, they were super fun! The flare of the skirt from the waist was very flattering for my shape (big hips/butt) and I didn't feel like I was stretching the top with my chest (I am also still nursing and the dress was still comfortable when I was full). I also loved the fact that I was able to wear a regular bra and not have to worry about straps hanging out because of the wide fit of the material. This was definitely one of my favorite dresses I've rented. 

Ran small ... I went a size up from my bigger normal size. 

This dress is beautiful, but runs a bit small and flares more than typical in a fit and flare style. I typically like this style because I find it flattering to a curvy figure, but since the dress flared more than usual, it made me appear more full-figured than I'd like. The dress also doesn't zip down quite far enough for a curvy figure. I sort of needed to wiggle my booty into the dress, but once it was on, it fit just fine.

The dress is sewn in the front and back to make it look folder. Sometimes it would look weird if I wasn't standing up tall or when I walked. It was very comfy and I loved the pockets! 

I wore this for a wedding and it was super comfortable! I loved the fact that it had POCKETS!  I thought the fabric would have a little more stretch in the midsection, but the 8 fit perfectly and wasn't too tight.  

I lost track of how many compliments I received on this dress. It fit like a comfortable glove and was the perfect amount of structure. The colors really pop beautifully and make for the perfect fun but professional feel. Also - it has pockets! Enough said.

So great to have a unique dress when seeing the same group each year for a formal dinner and awards- it must have been lucky since my husband won one!

I actually really liked this dress, mostly because I felt like I could style it a million ways. I also tend to prefer dresses with a fit and flare style, so I enjoyed the way that this dress fit my body shape. I really wanted to wear the 2, as it fit a little more snug and was an inch or so shorter, but it had a weird wrinkle in the hem that I couldn't get rid of. Regardless, the 4 fit fine and I had a little extra room to fit the delicious food we were served. Great style for petite girls who may have a little hip! And super easy to dance in!

Very tight in the bust area contrasted by very roomy full skirt - became uncomfortable in chest area as evening progressed

I wore this to a party.  It was comfortable and unique. I stepped out of my comfort zone with the pattern, but was glad that I did and I loved the thicker, scuba-style material. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it was extremely tight in the bust.  I am a 36D, though, so I suggest going up 2 sizes instead of 1 if you are large busted.  

I got so many compliments on this dress.  I typically wear a 2, and it felt like it was made for me.  If you are bigger in the bust, this might not be the dress for you.  I loved the thicker material of this dress.  My husband wanted me to keep it!

This dress is good for people with tiny busts because it is perfectly sized everywhere but the bust line. It was very tight on me when my bust size is usually a 6 but I loved this dress. It was warm and had pockets and looked great in the winter with some black leggings under.

This dress was perfect for an early-winter wedding. It was comfortable, fit so well and was so flattering. While I'd usually wear a 6 dress, I wore an 8 since the length was slightly longer for 8 than for 6, and the 8 has a touch more space to spare. The 6 would have sufficed if that was my only option. Loved this, felt so pretty!

This dress is gorgeous. It has pockets and is a thick beautiful fabric. The zipper in the back is sturdy. I would totally rent it again. The only caveat is it is tight in the waist. There isn't a huge amount of give. I did unzip it a bit throughout the day to take a little break. I wore it to work, and then to a fancy dinner and drinks after. It was a crowd pleaser. 

The perfect dress for a September wedding! I absolutely loved the pattern and fit. So flattering and fun. The thick "scuba"-like material was really unique too. One of my favorite rentals. 

This dress was everything I hoped it would be. The fabric is thick and the detail of the colors was vivid. No pictures do it justice. I could have worn the 0 but opted for the 2 only for length purposes. I would highly recommend this dress if you're looking for something different and fun.

It fit great!! Loved the pockets and really comfortable material 

The fabric was very thick and pockets are always such a fantastic bonus. I wore it to a wine and food charity event and got a number of compliments. Perfect for fall. Skirt was very forgiving on the lower half, would easily hide a thicker bottom/rump.  The top had moderate stretch too for bigger busted gals. 
 Absolutely recommend this dress, the design was very complimentary. Loved it! 

Wore to an evening wedding in early September with black ballet flats (because I hate heels).  I usually wear between a 4 and a 6, so I got this dress in a 6 and 8 based on the reviews that it ran small.  I ended up wearing the 6 because the overall fit was better, but the 8 could have worked ok - a touch big, but I actually liked the extra length.  I'm 5' 7" and the length on the 6 was fine but on the short side.  The dress was a little snug around the waist/ribcage as others have mentioned, but not a dealbreaker.   The dress does flare out quite a bit, which I was a little hesitant about, but got used to.  I was also hesitant that the dress's bold pattern would make more of a "statement" than I was comfortable with, but I did end up liking it.  I don't usually like to wear a lot of accessories/jewelry, and with the higher neckline and bold pattern on this dress, I felt like I didn't need to.  Overall, I was really happy with the dress.

I loved this dress! The fit was perfect, the length was right, the print was bold, and the fabric weight was exactly what I was hoping for (nice and thick). Plus - pockets! It is great for hiding lumps and bumps, too. The only reason it didn't get five stars was because the top pleat of the waistband was flipped up and would not flip back down with the rest, but it was imperceptible to everyone except me. I wish I didn't have to return it! 

I rented both the 10 and 12. Both fit fine, so I wore the 10 because it was slightly more fitted in the waist. The fabric is a great quality and felt very comfortable all night.  I also rented the Kendra Scott "Coral Danielle" earrings which were a great finishing touch for the look. The fabric at the collar did not lay flat which was not necessarily a problem but should definitely be noted.  Overall, very happy with this rental.  

The fit was perfect, except it ran a tad tight around the rib cage area, but read the reviews and ordered a size up from what I normally wear (which is 2). It was perfect for a wedding and I got a ton of compliments on it! Wish I could keep it!!

This dress fits true to size but is a bit tight around the rib cage. If you're on the edge of sizes, I'd size up. Very flattering cut, the scuba material is nice and thick - when the wind blew I didn't worry about my skirt blowing up. Skirt  is a bit short when you sit down.  So many compliments! 

It is a bit tightly cut in the arm holes and on the shorter side in the length depending on the size of your bum. I didn't feel like I could bend over and had to hold the back while walking up the stairs. Got lots of compliments on both the style and fabric. Pockets are adequately deep to hold Iphone while dancing which is always a plus! I wore some simple pearl ear jackets but didn't think it needed much accessorizing other than that! It was on the cooler side and the fabric is definitely comfortable for fall weddings, might be hot over the summer or in the heat!

Overall I thought this dress was pretty and comfortable. It is made of a scuba type material, so it was slightly heavy but it flowed nicely. Another pro was being able to wear a normal bra. 

I was really excited to wear this dress, and it felt great. I had  read that it was 'scuba' material and didn't know what that meant - was it like wetsuit material? If so, was that going to be hot and uncomfortable at the Atlanta wedding I wore it to? It was indeed like wetsuit material, and it was probably warmer than I needed for an 80-degree affair, but it was actually quite comfortable and had a great shape. Overall, it was a great choice. Loved the print and got lots of compliments.

I wore this to a fashion show in NYC. Material was very thick so be prepared to be a little toasty. the cut was very flattering and it didn't wrinkle at all which was nice getting in and out of cabs before the show. It runs true to size, maybe a bit on the smaller size around the mid section like the other reviews stated. I rented a 2 and a 4, ended up wearing the 4 but still comfortable! and loved the pockets!!!- incredibly functional!

This is a very nice dress. I was looking for something that wasn't going to be super form fitted across my stomach because I am expecting, but not showing enough to that others would know I am pregnant.  This dress was perfect for that! I will say that I wore a 4, and I am usually a 0-2. The 2 fit much better through the shoulders, but like other reviewers said, the banding in the middle is very tight! The 4 was better around that area for me so I went with that. The colors are gorgeous, the material is very nice (but very thick- not ideal for a July wedding in Kentucky) so I recommend for a fall or winter wedding. I was pleased with this rental and would recommend this dress!

The dress ran a little bit small. I wore the 6, but it was really tight around the waist. Also, the waist sat right under my rib cage.  I think the 8 would've been too large on top. 

The dress is made of neoprene and really flattering! Tons of compliments. :)

I loved the way this dress fit.  The fabric is thick and stretchy; very forgiving and flattering.  I am busty, but had no problem zipping all the way up.  The stretch of the fabric was perfect for a birthday dinner out with my beau, and he absolutely loved the way it looked on me.  The length is perfect; I'm 5'6", and I never felt like I was going to be showing off any of my...assets.  I paired it with some rhinestone earrings from my personal collection, and some Nine West nude slingbacks.  A delightful dress for a special summer night out.

Rented this for my cousin's rehearsal dinner. It was a really cute dress and got lots of compliments. The scuba material is thick. And the waist is snug for an 8, so size up if you like to take deep breaths. Would definitely wear again! 

I loved how the colorful pattern on the dress popped against the black color.  Best of all, pockets.  It was a fun dress to wear and felt like a stylin' lady during my bachelorette weekend.
