The dress ran a little bit small. I wore the 6, but it was really tight around the waist. Also, the waist sat right under my rib cage. I think the 8 would've been too large on top. The dress is made of neoprene and really flattering! Tons of compliments. :)

I loved the way this dress fit. The fabric is thick and stretchy; very forgiving and flattering. I am busty, but had no problem zipping all the way up. The stretch of the fabric was perfect for a birthday dinner out with my beau, and he absolutely loved the way it looked on me. The length is perfect; I'm 5'6", and I never felt like I was going to be showing off any of my...assets. I paired it with some rhinestone earrings from my personal collection, and some Nine West nude slingbacks. A delightful dress for a special summer night out.

Rented this for my cousin's rehearsal dinner. It was a really cute dress and got lots of compliments. The scuba material is thick. And the waist is snug for an 8, so size up if you like to take deep breaths. Would definitely wear again!

True to size and flattering fit but a tad tight in fitted band around ribs. I had a 4 and a 6 and both were equally tight in that one spot. 4 fit best overall, so wore that one.

This dress fit like a glove, but had stretch, was very thick, and very high quality. This is a NICE dress people! Great for girls who want a defined waist, but a little bit of forgiveness other areas. I wore the 6 instead of the 4, because the 4 was too tight on the bust. Still it, fits true to size! The pattern is so beautiful, it's classy, and attracts attention without being gaudy. Highly recommend this dress as NO ONE will be wearing anything just like it.

4 was tight around the ribs. The 6 was a little big on top for me, I'm a b cup, but fit better in the rib area. Really comfortable. Can't get it dirty if you are prone to spilling anything. This dress is gorgeous! I wore it on a date night to dinner and a symphony concert. The print is beautiful and the material is nice and thick with a little stretch. It was comfortable sitting in for a long period of time. I received so many compliments (at the bar, in the bathroom!). It is my favorite dress I've rented with RTR and I will definitely rent again. So sad to send it back!

This was my backup dress and I had an issue with my first dress. I was so disappointed not to wear my original dress but I got sooo many compliments on this fun dress! Super comfy. I usually wear a 6 and the 8 fit great.

This rental was for my daughter to wear to her high school homecoming dance. The fabric is surprising heavy which was perfect since we had a cold front move through the night before the dance! The dress fits very true to size and actually minimizes the bust area. The colors are so vibrant and the design in the fabric is truly beautiful. You can literally accessorize with any color and it will go with this dress! She loved having the pockets and loved wearing this dress. In the words of my 15 year old "it was really pretty and comfortable and she could've danced all night!"

I was SO sad this morning that I had I return this dress... I loved this dress so much that I would actually pay the full price to buy it. First off, the material felt kind of like a scuba suit, which you would think would NOT work, but it totally does! It kept me warm on the first really chilly night of the season. The pockets were awesome. And I feel like this material is great for dresses because it seems really durable. And secondly, the pattern is even more vibrant in real life. It's not overwhelming, it's so perfect. I cannot rave enough about this dress. I already miss it. Be prepared for TONS of compliments! Happy renting!

This dress is great for a still cold spring night. The dress has nice spring color, but can be worn with tights to stay warm. The material is very heavy and kept me warm. I am usually between a 4 and 6, so I got both sizes. The band around in the waist was a bit tight in both sizes, and it sits at or above the natural. I ended up wearing the 4 because the chest and neck area fit and laid better in the 4. The fabric is very forgiving. Great dress!

I really loved this dress! The fit was great and the fabric (neoprene, scuba like) made the dress very flattering, comfortable, and easy for dancing the night away. I typically wear a 2 or 4. I ended up wearing the 2, but felt there wasn't a lot of difference between the two sizes. Loved the fact this dress had pockets...very convenient for my cell phone and lipstick. I received lots of compliments...I definitely would recommend this dress!

Pros- heavy weight , smooth and slightly stretchy fabric with beautiful vibrant tones. Fun to accessorize with a bright shawl, purse or shoes. Con- just one- it was tight across the rib cage (not bust) for me. Bust was fine but taking a deep breath was difficult. I am a 34B and broad shouldered., athletic build. I usually wear a size 4. The dress fit well other than that and the hips are very roomy so if you have anything you don't want to show off hips downward- this dress will hide it.

The material is kind of like scuba gear which was not wise for a mid-summer outdoor wedding in Texas. But nevertheless, I got endless compliments which made me feel like a goddess. A sweaty, sweaty goddess.

For my first RTR rental I rented this dress for my daughter's Homecoming. She is a slender size 2 and the fit was perfect. She received so many compliments and was very comfortable the entire night. Her favorite part about the dress was the pockets. My only Con: I sent my husband to return it and he put it in a Fedex box instead of a UPS one. There is a fee but the smile on her face was worth it! Will be Renting The Runway again soon!

This is the second dress I've rented from Cynthia Rowley and I love how they fit me! The top is nice and fitted and the bottom has a fun and flirty flare. Wore this to a wedding and received a ton of compliments on the pattern... Was a big step above an ordinary LBD! Once again, RTR doesn't disappoint! Another satisfied customer!

I had intended on renting a size 0, but only a size 2 was available. As expected, it was a little large in the chest. I wore a bombshell bra to fill it out, and it ended up looking great! The fabric is thick and neoprene-like, and the dress has a strong zipper. I would recommend this flattering dress to anyone!

I wore this for a wedding and it was super comfortable! I loved the fact that it had POCKETS! I thought the fabric would have a little more stretch in the midsection, but the 8 fit perfectly and wasn't too tight.

This dress was perfect for an early-winter wedding. It was comfortable, fit so well and was so flattering. While I'd usually wear a 6 dress, I wore an 8 since the length was slightly longer for 8 than for 6, and the 8 has a touch more space to spare. The 6 would have sufficed if that was my only option. This dress is gorgeous. It has pockets and is a thick beautiful fabric. The zipper in the back is sturdy. I would totally rent it again. The only caveat is it is tight in the waist. There isn't a huge amount of give. I did unzip it a bit throughout the day to take a little break. I wore it to work, and then to a fancy dinner and drinks after. It was a crowd pleaser.

The fabric was very thick and pockets are always such a fantastic bonus. I wore it to a wine and food charity event and got a number of compliments. Perfect for fall. Skirt was very forgiving on the lower half, would easily hide a thicker bottom/rump. The top had moderate stretch too for bigger busted gals. Absolutely recommend this dress, the design was very complimentary. Loved it!

I rented both the 10 and 12. Both fit fine, so I wore the 10 because it was slightly more fitted in the waist. The fabric is a great quality and felt very comfortable all night. I also rented the Kendra Scott "Coral Danielle" earrings which were a great finishing touch for the look. The fabric at the collar did not lay flat which was not necessarily a problem but should definitely be noted. Overall, very happy with this rental.

It is a bit tightly cut in the arm holes and on the shorter side in the length depending on the size of your bum. I didn't feel like I could bend over and had to hold the back while walking up the stairs. Got lots of compliments on both the style and fabric. Pockets are adequately deep to hold Iphone while dancing which is always a plus! I wore some simple pearl ear jackets but didn't think it needed much accessorizing other than that! It was on the cooler side and the fabric is definitely comfortable for fall weddings, might be hot over the summer or in the heat!

Overall I thought this dress was pretty and comfortable. It is made of a scuba type material, so it was slightly heavy but it flowed nicely. Another pro was being able to wear a normal bra.

This is a very nice dress. I was looking for something that wasn't going to be super form fitted across my stomach because I am expecting, but not showing enough to that others would know I am pregnant. This dress was perfect for that! I will say that I wore a 4, and I am usually a 0-2. The 2 fit much better through the shoulders, but like other reviewers said, the banding in the middle is very tight! The 4 was better around that area for me so I went with that. The colors are gorgeous, the material is very nice (but very thick- not ideal for a July wedding in Kentucky) so I recommend for a fall or winter wedding. I was pleased with this rental and would recommend this dress!
