This dress is a dream!
I needed a dress for a semi formal charity gala that I was playing a small role in hosting. The event was in November and I wanted something that felt seasonally appropriate. My dear was that this dress would be too stiff/thick, but it's truly great to wear! It definitely looks like leather, but feels stretchy, breathable and comfortable! It hugged my body without clinging. I got a ton of compliments and it was the perfect blend of professional and fun. Highly recommend!

Stand out dress for engagement photos!
I was really happy that I ordered this for our engagement photos! The color is so vibrant, and the material was matte which worked in a variety of environments. The chest does run a little small, and the back would make it hard to wear a regular bra with this. However, the material was thick enough that I didn't need to wear a bra at all. My only issue was that the darts were a little funny on me...they made it seem like I was 'cold', if you catch my drift. You do want to have an iron or steamer on hand for this, because the material does wrinkle. Otherwise, it's a really comfy dress and a lot of fun to wear. The bow at the back was a fun touch too!

The most comfortable work dress ever!
This is my kind of work dress. The flared skirt meant it was more comfortable than a sheath, but a hidden drop-waist seam kept me from feeling like a little girl. The color blocking and t-shirt style neckline was professional without being pretentious. The material was thick and stretchy, so there were no itchy pressure points during the day. And the length was actually appropriate on me at 5'9" (the model had me a little worried about that)!! I loved this dress so much that I bought it (my favorite perk of Unlimited). I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that needs a work dress, but isn't quite on board with the single-colored sheaths that are so common. My work environment is a little more casual than traditional business, and this fit the bill exactly. Can't wait to wear it for my next event!

HELLO. I'm obsessed with this skirt. So much so that after receiving it as part of an Unlimited shipment, I splurged on myself and bought it. Love, love, love! If you're short, I might not recommend renting this. At 5'9", it was still low-to-mid-calf on me and I wouldn't want it to be any longer. But tall ladies, rejoice! Gotta love a tea length skirt that is actually tea length on us! The waistband is the only fitted part, so order your size based on that. It is a little tight, so you may want to size up as a back up. There is a back zipper and hook and eye closure. The material is a little stiff, and you might want to hit it with an iron when you receive it. However, for me, I felt like the pattern did enough to cover any wrinkles and I didn't worry. Was it maybe a little over the top for a trade show? Yep. But did I care? Not at all! I'm the first female to represent my company with a client that is also in a very male-dominated industry, and I felt super confident letting my style shine though at the event. Can't wait to wear this all over the place now that it's mine!

Fun skirt for work!
I'm not a pencil skirt fan, but this skirt? I can get behind it! This thing is almost yoga pant material (I'm not kidding), but looks very professional. It's super stretchy, so I never felt restricted and mostly forgot I was wearing a pencil skirt all day! I had to help set up a trade show booth and then work the booth all day in this, and I was very comfortable even with all of the movement and physical labor. There is no zipper or anything, just an elastic waist. For that reason, I'd recommend sizing down as a back up, but it otherwise runs pretty true to size. It might show panty lines, so be wary as you are choosing undergarments. At 5'9", this skirt was a perfect work length for me. It hit just above my knees and didn't ride up much when sitting. You could see the lines where I had tucked my shirt into it, but I don't think anyone really noticed. Not the highest quality garment I've gotten from RTR, but it's the only pencil skirt I want to wear and I'll be happy to have the opportunity to rent again!

A jumpsuit that ACTUALLY worked for a tall girl!
I have issues with jumpsuits: I'm usually too tall for their length, and the torsos typically are also too short for me to wear without them riding up all night. But this was brilliant and I loved it so much! If you have torso issues with jumpsuits too, size up! I rented the 12 because of this, and had almost no issues all night. I wore it for a work event at TopGolf, and I could freely swing a club without problem even with the off the shoulder sleeves. I also didn't have issues with the zipper like a lot of people; it zipped right up for me without help! I didn't wear a bra, and I don't think one is needed. The material is thick, plus the loose layer over the chest hides any indication of not wearing a bra. You could definitely wear strapless with this if you wanted though! My one issue was the length. Tall ladies, don't order the regular. I rented the long, but it was unfortunately unavailable at the last minute. You can see in the photo that the 12R was sort of like wearing high waters, but no one really noticed. If I had the long length, it would have been 100% perfect. Otherwise, this jumpsuit was great! High quality fabric, super comfortable, and is something I will definitely be renting again!

Made me feel like dancing all night!
I rented this for a work dinner in Las Vegas and out to a Cirque du Soleil show after. I wasn't disappointed, but definitely wished I had ordered a size down. The waist and top were at least a size too large on me, so I felt like I was swimming a bit in this. I did use some safety pins to get it to fit alright, and overall I loved the rental! I could wear a normal bra, thanks to the strap across the back. The cape also kept it from feeling too risque for a work event, since it mostly covered the open back, but I could just as easily have worn this on a date or somewhere else. The fabric is light and airy, and you will need a bra of some sort with it. It also hit me just past my knees (I'm a little over 5'9"), so it's a great dress for the taller ladies but it might be something to avoid if you're on the short side. The color is definitely bold, and you do stand out (I got pulled up to be a part of the Cirque du Soleil show we attended while wearing this!). I loved this rental, will likely rent again in a smaller size, and would highly recommend trying it!

Cute, comfortable, and super versatile!
For the first time in six years of renting, a piece I ordered was unavailable. This was sent as a backup (and they still sent me the available size of my originally ordered piece). So first off, A++ to RTR's customer service, as always. This isn't a dress I would have rented typically, but it turned out to be such a fun piece! The fabric is thick, which was good because I didn't wear a bra (the cut out on the back makes a regular bra hard to wear with this, and I hate strapless). I wore it to a client dinner and then out on the Vegas strip afterwards, but I could have just as easily worn this to a graduation party or somewhere casual. Two downsides/things of note: I noticed is that it does run a little small through the chest (but I have a larger chest). Upside to that though is that the knot in the back makes it adjustable to your needs if you have a smaller chest. And second, it wrinkles (see my second pic). You'll want to have an iron on hand when it arrives! Also, because it's always important for us tall ladies, this was a very appropriate length for me, and I'm a little over 5'9"!

Understated sex appeal
This dress was great! I wish I'd taken a picture to share. The material is thick (sort of a scuba material), but it's form fitting so shape wear isn't a bad idea if you wear it. The neckline might be a little daring for a conservative environment if you have a larger chest like me, but I was comfortable at work while wearing this. Great dress, awesome color (it's really a pretty light shade of navy blue), and I'd definitely rent again!

Not great for ladies with a longer torso
Let me start by saying I LOVED the top of this. The cut was amazing and was absolutely beautiful on. But the torso of this jumpsuit was far too short for me. I didn't wear it because it was riding up in places I didn't want people staring at! The only other thing I didn't like about this was that the pants don't flare like they do on the model. In fact, there was elastic at the ankles pulling the pant legs tight to my calves, which was unexpected given the photos online. It ended up feeling a little 'sporty because of that, so it wasn't perfect for my event. Wish I could have worn it though!

Compliments all night!
Downside to this dress: the straps are long. I'm a 34DD, and I was worried about falling out until I used safety pins to shorten the straps by about an inch and a half. For that reason, I'd recommend sizing down for a back up. Upside to this dress: everything else! It was really slimming on my torso and the length was great for a formal or cocktail event. I'm 5'9", and it hit on my lower calf so it's quite a bit longer than it looked on the model. The color is also different, closer to a wine red than what's shown. I got endless compliments on this dress and it was one of the most comfortable rentals I've ever gotten. Perfect for a night of drinking and dancing!

A blouse that works for women with larger chests!
This top is great I'm so many ways. The details are unique, down to the slightly slanted cuff, but they're minimal enough to make it still appropriate for work. I wore with ankle pants and heels for work, and I'm planning to wear it with bootcut jeans and to go out with friends in before returning the top! Of note: the keyhole cutout is pretty low-cut, so you might want to wear a tank underneath for a professional setting. The top is thick enough that it isn't see through, and you can wear a normal bra!

Lived up to the hype!
I have wanted to rent this dress for about two years now, and I've never had quite the right occasion. I FINALLY was able to for an early June wedding in the Midwest, and it lived up to my heightened expectations! The colors are vibrant and perfect for spring or summer. At 5'9", the dress was the right length in flats but I would have wanted a long if I'd worn heels. I did not wear a bra with it and was plenty comfortable, but I could have worn any normal bra and felt fine. I also sized up to wear the 12, but the 10 fit fine too...I just wanted extra room for dinner! ;) The fabric is light and moves beautifully, and it's the exact kind of dress that can easily be black tie or a semi-casual maxi. Rent it, you won't be disappointed!

You can never go wrong with a cape
This. Dress. One of my favorite rentals of all time! I am OBSESSED with this cape. It was cut in the back which I was unsure about, but it worked well. There is enough fabric that you can't tell , and the cut kept me from feeling restricted. The rest of the dress was beautiful too. I'd size up just because the skirt does sit tight on the hips, and sizing up gives you a little extra room. It's all a very pretty navy, so it's the perfect canvas for fun accessories! At 5'9", the length was great, though I did have to tug the hem back down throughout the night. If you're considering this dress, rent it. You won't regret it! And to Adrianna Papell, PLEASE give us more dresses in this size range! I want to rent them all!

A great dress for a wedding!
I've had my eye on this dress for a while and was happy to finally be able to rent it. My usual rentals wouldn't have worked for a small town wedding, but this was perfect. The material has a little shine to it which was perfect for night time, and it kept me warm for a mid-November wedding in northern Ohio. I got a lot of compliments from friends and family on the dress, and everyone agreed it was classy and beautiful. It was tight on my chest, so full chested ladies beware and size up! It was also a little short for my liking on my 5'9" fame, but I had to wear black tights with it anyways so I was comfortable. It was fun and easy to dance in, and the lace sleeves weren't too tight! I gave it 4 stars because it wasn't the stand out dress that I would usually rent, but it was beautiful and a great dress none the less.

I felt like a bombshell!
I earned a huge bonus at work, and decided to spend it on a first class dinner for my boyfriend and I on Valentine's Day. I also decided I wanted a bright red dress to go with it, and I'm so happy this is the one I found! The material on this dress is thick which was great for a February night in Ohio, but might have you sweating in the heat of summer. I didn't need a bra wth this, but you'd need a strapless bra if you wore one because of the see through lace (though you could probably get away with a nude bra with straps). It hit just below my knee at 5'9", so great for tall ladies. I wore the smaller size, but after dinner I wished I had chosen the bigger size to give me a little more room. And the color is a really beautiful scarlet red! This dress was amazing and a stand out for our date. The pockets made it even better, and I will be looking for any other occasion where I could rent this again!

Feels like a gown, looks like a maxi
I needed a nice, summery dress for our 100% club reward event at work. We were going to dinner and a mixology class at Woodford Reserve, so I wanted to be comfortable but also look great. I initially overlooked this dress and nearly didn't order it, but I am SO glad I did! The long length was perfect for me (I'm 5'9" and wore a 3.5" heel), and I could have gotten away with another inch on my heels if needed, so it's great for tall ladies! There is elastic on the tops of the sleeves so they were ultra comfortable all night (and stayed in place). There's also some light boning in the bodice, so I never felt worried that the top would fall down. The top also had plenty of room for my chest, but I don't know that it would work as well for women with a small chest. I did say it runs small, only because it was definitely a tight fit for me when I zipped it up around my rib cage. But then again, I've gained some weight and teeter between sizes 8 and 10, so it might still be true to size. I danced all night in this and felt like I was wearing a thousand dollar gown! It was light and moved great, and I was complimented non stop by my co-workers and random people at the locations we visited. And I loved it so much that I wore it the next day to a craft fair and lunch with my boyfriend's parents. This is a great dress for a wide variety of events, and I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a maxi to dress up or down!

The zipper edge made this much cooler than expected!
Loved this bag! The chrome finish felt modern and on trend, and I got compliments on it all night. I didn't realize the edges were bordered with a zipper when looking at the pictures, but it elevated the bag for me and made it more unique. It was the perfect size for a large clutch, fitting my phone, lipstick, cards, cash, and hotel room key easily. There are a couple of pockets on the inside that are sized for credit cards, so I ditched my full wallet and used those slots instead. I will 100% be renting this bag again!

Different than expected, but beautiful
I can't say I was disappointed with this dress, but it didn't blow my expectations out of the water either. The neckline is definitely not as low as it looks on the model, but if you have a bigger chest I would recommend sizing up as it felt and looked a little small on me (I'm a 34D). The hemline is also not nearly as short. And at 5'9", that's saying something. I would have been comfortable wearing this dress without tights if the weather had agreed! I didn't like that the dress wrinkled easily. It showed up wrinkled from shipping, and steamed easily. But by the end of the night, the hemline was completely wrinkled and the cap sleeves wouldn't sit flat. It wouldn't have bothered me so much (I understand that sitting/standing/dancing is going to cause some wrinkling to occur) if the lining wasn't sticking out of the bottom. The lining material doesn't wrinkle, so it ended up longer than the outer material, and it's a champagne color so it was very visible against my tights. I did love the color and the lace, though it was darker than expected. The red is more of a maroon than it is a true red. It fit true to size like the other ML dresses I have worn, and you can probably wear a normal bra (I'd go with black) though I chose not to wear one and was fine. I did not expect the skirt to be quite as full as it was, but I love a full skirt so I was pleased by it. Oh, and the pockets were fantastic!! Overall, I'm not mad that I rented this dress. I got a ton of compliments and I think it's beautiful, but for the first time in all my rentals from RTR, this is probably not a dress I would rent again.

The color and skirt are to die for!
I loved this dress! Could have worn with a normal bra (go with nude because the middle part might show just a bit), but I wore it without because the material was thick enough. The metal bar at the bottom of the V made me confident I wouldn't have a mishap. The skirt was so fun!! I got a ton of compliments, and it was a grown up look that set me apart for a fraternity formal.

These earrings were everything I expected them to be. Large without being too heavy, all the jewels were in their places, and the posts and backs were sturdy enough to hold up fine. I got quite a few compliments on these at my sorority formal, and I loved the statement they made!

Feathers stood out in a sea of sequins
I rented this dress for a sorority semi-formal and absolutely loved wearing it. I got compliments all night, and everyone thought the feathers were awesome! The lace and cut of the top was perfect, but the dress wasn't quite as flawless as some of my other RTR rentals have been. I was slightly disappointed in the color, because the purple to grey ombre wasn't quite as vibrant as I was hoping the feathers would be. The dress is short, and the lining of the skirt is tight so size up! The zippers on my two sizes of this dress were different. When I tried the six, I realized the flimsy zipper was broken so I wore the eight (needed it anyways) and found that the zipper was much more sturdy. Also: be prepared to shed! The feathers do come off and frequently stick out. I kept a dryer sheet in my clutch to get rid of the static on occasion. While the dress wasn't everything I imagined, I would rent again, and I still would have rented knowing all of that upfront. Next time, I'll probably go up one more size just for some extra length, and in hopes that the skirt will flare a little more like it does on the model in the picture.

Fun necklace for warm weather
I wore this necklace with an RTR dress to my boyfriend's graduation in May. The necklace was fun without being overwhelming, and was light enough to wear all day without problem. It was the exact color I expected it to be and the length was great. Definitely something I was glad I rented because it's a statement piece you wouldn't want to wear everyday!

Pockets!!!
I had a birthday credit from RTR and used it to rent this for my college graduation. I was drawn to the dress immediately, and when I looked at the pictures and saw what I thought were pockets, I was sold! The dress turned out to be pretty perfect-it fit well (albeit a little small compared to other dresses from this designer), the material was great, and I got ENDLESS compliments all day. There is a built in longline bra in the dress (several hook and eye closures at the back inside of the zipper) and boning throughout the bodice. I didn't have an issue with it slipping at all. The pockets were ultra convenient for a graduation ceremony, and the colors were absolutely beautiful (and true to the images on the site). My only gripe was that the skirt was more full than I expected (it's evident in the second picture), but it was only a minor issue because it made my graduation gown stick out a bit - I'd love it in any other circumstance! I would 10/10 rent this again and recommend it for any spring/summer event.

The perfect dress!
Everytime I rent a new dress from RTR, I feel like I have a new favorite. This was my first rental for a less-formal event, and though I initially looked past this dress, I am SO happy I ended up renting it! The color and pattern on this dress are brilliant. The white is definitely a pure white, not ivory/off-white/eggshell/etc. The blue is actually kind of a dark royal, not totally navy like it looked on my computer but that was better for spring anyways. I wore it with the Kate Spade Daylight Jewels necklace, mainly because I had shoes in the same color that I wanted to wear, but also because I love navy and coral. I had a TON of compliments on the dress and the necklace, they were great together! Fabric is light and breathable, but doesn't offer a ton of warmth. It was great for standing outside after the ceremony, but I was chilly in the pavilion so you might want a sweater if you'll be in a similar situation. As far as sizing, I ordered the four and the six. I'm usually a six, and the six fit, but the four was a little tighter and I decided to wear that. The four was almost too tight through my ribs and chest (I'm a 32DD). Though it's not a super heavy fabric, I was totally comfortable without a bra in the four! Length hit me a few inches above my knee, perfect for a taller girl. Note: I wished I had worn the six after we ate dinner at a Brazilian steakhouse, haha.

Literally my favorite rental yet
As soon as I got this dress and tried it on, I knew I was going to hate to send it back. I actually considered buying it...but il decided I will just have to rent it again! The six and eight both fit, but I decided to go with the six since I was wearing it for a sorority formal and the six was a little tighter and shorter. I did not have to wear a bra with it and the structure of the bodice was such that it was not a problem. The skirt was a little more full than I anticipated but I was happy it was! At 5'9", a lot of RTR dresses are too short on me. This was perfect! It was short enough to be fun, but definitely still classy. I would recommend it from anything to a date to a semi-formal affair. The one qualm I had about the dress was that for my larger chest, the top was very low cut and sometimes slid down during the night. I was okay with it, but it could make someone who is more modest feel uncomfortable. As a side note, the problem would have been mostly rectified if I wore the bigger size so consider that if it applies to you!

Sometimes it's best to try something not so classic!
I LOVE this dress. The six fit but the four hugged my waist better so I ended up wearing that. In four inch heels the length was perfect, and at 5'9" without them the back dragged on the floor just a little. The dress does have a slip with some material underneath to keep that skirt fluffed. The pockets were great and plenty deep for my phone, some lipgloss, and my debit card and cash. I did not wear a bra of any kind with the dress. I tried it on with one and I could have worn a bra, but be aware that the back band of a bra is potentially visible at the bottom of the v-back on the dress. I also felt the dress straps were more flattering set out wider on my shoulders which would have made bra straps visible. I wore this for a black tie wedding where the bride requested that guests don't wear black. It was perfect for the occasion, and I heard endless compliments all night! One woman came across the room just to tell me how much she loved the dress. It was flattering, comfortable, and made me feel like the bell of the ball. I would DEFINITELY rent this one again! Also, as RTR probably knows, I think they have about the best customer service known to man. They are ALWAYS quick to respond to any problems, and will find a solution for you no matter the situation. RTR will continue to receive business from me!

RTR Pro is TOTALLY worth it. It's great that when I rent a dress, I'm just paying the price of the dress. Gorgeous color, Great fabric, Perfect fit!
This dress was completely better in person than online. I'd suggest looking at the photos carefully because it was definitely different than I expected. First, the color is way less orange and way more scarlet than it appears on the model. Second, there are triangle/diamond seams around the abdomen that give a great subtle slimming effect. Third, the hem is sort of an inverted scallop, just slightly higher in the front than it is in the back which is actually really beautiful (and makes your legs look great!). This was sort of a last minute rental for Valentine's Day, and it definitely wasn't my first choice dress. However, after I saw it in person I was completely glad I picked it. I wore it with nude peep toe pumps and a white trench coat (we were at a ski resort). I'm a tall girl with a bigger chest and the dress wasn't too short or too tight through the chest area, definitely true-to-size. Two possible downfalls/positives (depending on your point of view) 1. It isn't a tight fit (maybe if you sized down you'd get the body-hugging effect?) 2. It's cut to high to really show off your girls. Probably a good thing to most people, but I personally don't mind cleavage, especially for V-Day. Anyways, great rental for a semi-formal wedding down to a night out with the girls. Super versatile, just accessorize it differently!
