I wore this for a formal gala. I loved the color and the flowy skirt, but the dress ran large in the bust area. It was uncomfortable all night, but unfortunately I couldn't have possibly fit in a smaller size. 

I'm rather short (4'11") and bottom heavy, and this dress NAILED IT with accentuating my favorite curves. 10/10 would wear again!

Like a good red wine! This dress is simple but perhaps one of the best rentals I've had. The skirt has a beautiful movement and flow to it. Material is quite nice too. Only con is I had to adjust the sleeves in the back with a temporary sow. 

I loved this dress! The grooms mother complemented me multiple times that night. Would buy this dress!

They only thing that was odd about this dress is the bust line. If you don't fill out the bust, it will flap open when you put your arms out in front of you. I had to add a brallette in order to not have a mishap. Great color and the skirt is so full and swings- so pretty. 

Loved wearing this dress. The fit and color were very flattering. I did used double sided tape since the straps were a little too long for me. The dress was longer on me given I'm 5'3" however, it still looked great. 

I loved this dress!!!! The fit was great, I'm a true 10 in most things and this dress flattered in all the right places. The only negative was that the straps were way too long!! I had to pin them back (which they kept popping out) in order to not have the front floppy and open. If the straps were adjustable this dress would have been 5 stars! I got a lot of compliments on the color and style!

Bust was way too big and the straps were so long it was impossible to wear without alterations. Even with fashion tape it was impossible not to show my bra. I got a million compliments though. The back and color were stunning. Even the wedding photographer made a point to tell me how much she loved the dress 

It fit me perfectly. I loved the length. The color was a beautiful wine color. Easy to dance in. 

Pretty dress with a nice rich color, but the straps were waaaaaaay too long. I had to take it in to a seamstress have it temporarily altered by multiple inches they were so long. Won't be renting this one again, but it was a beautiful dress and fun to dance in.

I am short, so this dress hit my ankles. I was hesitant to get to get this dress for that reason, but I ended up loving it. 

Absolutely gorgeous dress - got a million compliments. Chest and straps are big. Use Hollywood tape. I'd definitely would  rent again. 

Fit like a glove! Super flattering and true to size. I am 5’10” and this was perfect!

Wore this dress three times at three different weddings (don't worry, I was traveling internationally and these were completely different friend groups). The dress flows beautifully, packs easily, and can be dressed up or down! Only thing to note is that I had some extra space in the busy (I'm small) so I had to insert some extra padding & use tape. Would definitely buy it!

I ultimately couldn't wear the dress because the top was so large and all the proportions were so, so off. I have a small chest and slight shoulders, and the straps are not adjustable, so it just wasn't going to work. Maybe if I was much taller! It also hit just above my ankles, which was much longer than I was expecting.

I absolutely love the look of this dress, simple and feminine. I'm typically a size 6 or 8.  This dress fit perfect except for the chest and the straps. The straps were so insanely long nothing would've helped, the straps are not adjustable. Unfortunately both the dresses I ordered overnight to replace this dress were also too big up top. 

Color and fabric were great! The bust fits a fuller chest best. I had to use fashion tape on the bust, I'm a Size B. The color is a true burgundy and the dress is longggg. I'm 5'7'' and it was mid to low calf length on me. It was perfect for my work party and I got many compliments!

The dress looked amazing. The color was great. The only thing was my chest did not fill it out I needed to add cups. Also I am 5'4 so the dress was tea length but that was perfect for a winter wedding 

I loved this dress! It zipped up perfectly and was flattering to my body type, and hide any imperfections. The only downside was the straps were a bit loose so I had to make sure to stand up straight or else give everyone a show, even with the fashion tape. It might not be an issue for a more well endowed woman - so many compliments though!

This dress is great, but would totally benefit from some adjustable straps. I rented the blue version for a summer wedding and loved the fit, but decided that this red color would be perfect for a NYE cocktail/house party. It was a great choice and I still loved the fit, but the straps were too short. It definitely is a dress designed for busty women. I will totally rent/buy this dress again

Everyone complimented me on this dress! Fits amazing but the straps are a bit long and the bust fits loose so be mindful of this when renting!

This dress is really made for the girls with a C up and up.   The size 2R was a little tight on me and was going to wear the back up 4 size but the chest area was so loose it was drooping down. I forced myself to squeeze into the 2R just because those cups fit me ( I'm a 32B).  I didnt end up wearing a bra with this but if you are looking to enhance that area I would recommend getting added cups.  Aside from the top part not really doing anything for me, I loved the length, color & back of this dress just be careful when choosing your size. 

This dress is GORGEOUS. However, if you're not well endowed you will have to tape the crap out of it. I'm a C cup and I didn't fill up a size 16. I spent a lot of the night holding it down so I didn't have a slip. I love it but it was bummer trying to dance and hold my dress. 

This wine colored dress was everything I hoped it would be. The waist cinches perfectly to create that hour glass figure. The top was only a tad too lose for my bust but if I pulled the dress down a little at the waist it held pretty good and I didn't need to wear a bra. The skirt was so flattering and super fun to twirl on the dance floor which I made sure to do every chance I got- felt like a true dancing queen and received loads of complements for the color and fit. This was perfect for the beginning of fall season for a stunning outdoor wedding in New Orleans. 

This dress fit very well! I got tons of compliments and it was so beautiful the Fall wedding I wore it too. The chest was stretched out a bit from a previous user but that is my only complaint. Overall, I would definitely suggest renting this dress and renting from Rent The Runway! 

So. Gorgeous. This dress made me feel like royalty. Wore to a wedding with tights, booties, and a jacket due to the freezing weather, which also looked nice. The movement of the skirt and the elegance of the neckline are perfection. It was a little long for me at 5'6", but I didn't even care. And there was a LOT of fashion tape involved in keeping the neckline in place, although if I purchased the dress and shortened the straps, it wouldn't be necessary. I was able to pull off a strapless bra under the dress by scooching the band down in the back. 

And yes, I got multiple compliments from complete strangers! 

Dress runs true to size. It does show cleavage but I found a super low plunge & backless bra at target that was perfect. The dress flowed beautifully and I didn't feel self conscience in it. The length was almost to my ankles and it really looked good and didn't make me feel short. I would rent again!

I wore this to a friends wedding and I got so many compliments. It was the perfect fall wedding dress. The one thing I'd say is, if you don't have a big chest, you definitely should wear a push up bra. It is a bit loose in the chest otherwise, but the bra really helped me. Overall, I was obsessed! Got so many compliments!

This was my backup dress for a fundraiser event. I was really excited about the color, but was unfortunately unable to wear it because it was far too large. The straps are VERY long. Would recommend sizing down.

Cute and comfortable dress - perfect for dancing! I am 5'6 and thought it was a perfect length on me. I even switched to flats at the end of the night and it fit more like a maxi. Small busted so needed fashion tape for the top! 

This dress was stunning. But I am small chested so the top was too big. No amount of double sided tape would have kept me from pulling it up all night. If my boobs were bigger it would have been perfect. 

Loved this dress! It was true to size. I loved the A-line fit, it gave a slimming appearance. I am very busty (38H) and it accentuated my girls lovely WITHOUT A BRA! (YESSSSS!) 

My only con is the top of the dress is a LOW cut so I was on guard with dancing all night to make sure I wasn't spilling over. However I'm sure some secure tape would work fine! :-)

This dress made me feel confident and beautiful while hiding some trouble areas after having my daughter. It ran a little tight in the seam under the chest so I went with the bigger size. The only thing is that the straps are very thin and can easily pop out of the dress so be careful. Otherwise I really loved the color and dress overall. I received many compliments throughout the night.

The dress was a gorgeous wine color and perfect for spinning on the dance floor. I normally wear 6R but the 4R was a better fit (I'm a 34DD). The straps were slightly loose (and can't be adjusted) but not too bad. The dress came down to my ankles and I'm about 5'4. I will say double check the wedding you're going to for their color scheme because the dress can look bridesmaids-y (imagine my surprise when I looked like one of the wedding party in an otherwise beautiful dress!). I got lots of compliments and it's definitely now a favorite for me!

Downside to this dress: the straps are long. I'm a 34DD, and I was worried about falling out until I used safety pins to shorten the straps by about an inch and a half. For that reason, I'd recommend sizing down for a back up.

Upside to this dress: everything else!  It was really slimming on my torso and the length was great for a formal or cocktail event. I'm 5'9", and it hit on my lower calf so it's quite a bit longer than it looked on the model. The color is also different, closer to a wine red than what's shown. I got endless compliments on this dress and it was one of the most comfortable rentals I've ever gotten. Perfect for a night of drinking and dancing! 

Wore this dress for a mid September wedding in Wisconsin. The color is so rich and the length was great! I'm 5'9" and it was a greasy midi length with heels on. I got so many compliments on this baby! Only downside is it's pretty low cut so I had to wear a stick on strapless bra and even that almost showed. The straps are not adjustable so that made things tougher. I ordered a 16 as a backup but it's missing the support wire in the bust which made the low cut more exaggerated. Ultimately the 14 was great! I'd definitely recommend this dress!

I rented this dress for my best friend's winter wedding. I'm very short and what's calf-length on most was a floor length gown on me. 

The straps don't adjust and I was in the bathroom for an hour trying to tape the top up. I was almost in tears. Eventually, we got the dress secure, and when I walked out, my boyfriend's jaw dropped. Be wary of the top, if you're smaller-chested. But this dress is a stunner. 

This was my first rental from RTR and now I'm hooked. I chose this dress for a September wedding, felt like a movie star, and got tons of compliments. I paired it with some chandelier earrings and super simple black strap heels. I could have worn either size but, ended up going with the 8 as it just laid better on my body. The neckline is pretty low but since the rest of the dress is pretty modest, this didn't bother me. The one thing that was a little annoying, however, were the straps. They were a bit too loose and I was constantly tugging them back up onto my shoulders. It's nothing a quick stitch or safety pin couldn't fix though. Over all, would rent again!
