Great pants
At first I thought these pants were nothing special except for the fun color. Then I took them on a trip to Europe, wore them twice, packed them tightly in my suitcase, then took them out and immediately took this picture - so safe to say they travel very well and don't wrinkle at all. These pants are very slim, so you will have the best success if you are very comfortable with your hips and legs or if you wear Spanx. I'd recommend sizing up.

Bold print, but not for me
This is a lovely, well made dress with a big cool factor. I found it boxy for my figure and too short for any occasion when you'd have to sit down (I suspected this before renting!). Perhaps better on a younger person ;).

Super cute skirt
I think this is the first time I've tried on something from RTR and immediately wondered the cost to buy it. It was really flattering on me. Because it's high waisted, you'll initially think it runs small. The fabric is a little stiff, so it got a little wonky after sitting in it all day at work. It would be adorable with tights and boots in winter as well.

Distinctive, well made top
As you'd expect from Marni, the construction of this top is impeccable. It is a little boxy, but the tapered waist makes up for it. The fabric is heavy - think luxury sweatshirt - though it isn't at all informal because of the finish of the fabric and the sequins. It was too warm, but this is New Orleans in the summer! Because it's a little roomy, it wasn't too bad. I wish I had it in winter!

Cute pantsuit
I wore this out for dinner with a friend and to work. As others have mentioned, it's short in the rise, but only initially - after wearing it for a short period, it stretched enough to be fine. I like renting pantsuits because I think they're too distinctive to own, and this is no exception. The colors of the stripes are orange and hot pink, which I didn't expect, but overall I liked the effect.

Feel like a million in this showstopper!
I have really enjoyed both of the jumpsuits that I have rented with my unlimited membership - it is a great chance to wear something really distinctive! I rented this for my daughter's graduation ceremony (outdoors on a cool but sunny morning), where I really wanted to feel confident and attractive. It is gorgeous - I felt very chic and slender! The fabric hangs beautifully, and the cut shows off the quality of the fabric. Based on my past experience, I went with the long length, but I used double sided tape so it wasn't too long with my wedges. I will also wear it to an evening house party, where the fabric would be equally appropriate. As another reviewer noted, the belt was in a black velvet pouch in one of the pockets of the hanging bag, so unless you felt the lump, it could be easily overlooked. Go for it!

Lovely, but too small
I rented this dress to wear to my daughter's outdoor graduation, but it was very small in the hips. I might have been able to pull it off with shape wear, but I opted for a more comfortable dress. It is a quality dress with interesting colors, and I think it was flattering overall.

Sweet dress!
I really enjoyed wearing this dress. The fabric is substantial, but not too heavy for a humid summer day. I felt it was true to size and flattering. I would have worn it a third time if I'd had another occasion with a different crowd!

Cute and sweet
This is a cute shape, flattering, true to size, with substantial and quality fabric. The fabric is somewhat heavy, but I was not uncomfortable on a humid summer day. The length was a little long for my preference, but probably more work appropriate for most people.

A great rent - exceeded expectations
I usually wear more constructed clothes than this, but thought I'd try something different. The fabric was lovely and high quality, and the print and combination of colors was very attractive. I got numerous compliments - even from a rather gruff coworker who was walking by my office, stopped, stepped back, and said it was nice, lol. I wore it to work as well as to a museum and a graduation party - and I almost held onto it for a third wear. It's a little on the short side if you work in a more formal or conservative office.

Boxy and shapeless
I was excited to wear this brand, and I love dark green - generally a hard color to find in stores. As you would expect with Marni, the fabric is lovely - interesting color combo - and the construction impeccable. However, it was very shapeless, and I ended up pinning two small darts in the back to make it more flattering. I did think, when I caught a view of myself walking from the side, that one could tell that I was small inside of it.

Excitement faded
I started out feeling great in this dress, but as the day went on, my enthusiasm faded. I got very few compliments (petty, I know), but more than that, because it is unlined, it began to look and feel very rumpled. Note: the short side is very short, probably inappropriate for many offices.

Love this dress
This was my second time renting this dress, and I just love it. It's short enough that you have to be careful getting into the car or sitting next to someone on a sofa! But standing at a party, it's beautiful and flattering. The fabric has enough weight to skim over your figure.

Practical, well cut LBD
This dress is super cute and flattering. The seams and darts hit at just the right spot, and the length is work appropriate while still being fun. The fabric is substantial, but it wasn't too hot on a 90 degree day in New Orleans. For winter, you could definitely wear this with tights and a sweater. Pet owners, take note: it is a lint magnet!

Unique - in good and bad ways
I knew I was going out on a limb with this dress, but I was drawn in by the unique pattern. The lace is kind of like crochet, and there is a very lightweight underlayer (which was not lovely fabric). The dress is boxy at the waist, and the high neck really flattened out my chest. I added a belt, which seemed to help. There are cute details on this dress, like the oversized ric rac trim on the sleeves; the same trim goes down the center front, which makes it seem like there should be an opening there. People didn't rave over it, like sometimes happens with rentals. It felt hip, but I knew it didn't enhance my figure.

Like wearing a whisper
This dress is very lightweight and floaty - but there isn't anything flattering about it. It is more a-line than a shift, which along with the bold pattern gives it a very mod vibe. I am small on top and usually wear more fitted clothes, so this wasn't really my style, though it was fun and flirty. I think this is the only item I've rented with my unlimited subscription that didn't garner any compliments. The detail shot is to show the odd cutouts under the arm that no one would ever notice. The neck is ribbed cotton like a t-shirt, which doesn't seem to go with the dress otherwise.

Just gorgeous
Before I rented this with my unlimited subscription, I wondered, what could make a dress worth $1900? The construction on this dress is flawless. The printed material is underlined with a stiffer cotton, and the finishing on the seams and along the zipper is perfect (see detail photo). I was surprised by how flattering it was - I thought it might be a little boxy - but the side seams curve from under the arm and arc around to the back, which gives the dress a subtle shape. While the fabric seems stiff, it was perfectly comfortable all day. The print is unique and sophisticated. Strangers paid me compliments, and I felt like a million bucks. It is on the short side, but I work in a fairly informal office.

Short - but different and striking
I rented this dress to wear to work and to a work event. It is short - the 36" measurement refers to the point in front; the back is more like 32" (32" is about as short as I can get away with at 5'7", and probably too short for lots of offices). I find the length curious considering it's such a business like pattern (like a man's tie), but shorter than most could wear to work. That being said, it's a fun dress that people will remember. I felt good in it. I have small shoulders, and I can see why others had an issue - trying to reach over my head to zip it up to the top was a little challenging.

A fun everyday work dress
I rented the Helaina by Theory in the stripe, so when I saw it in pink, I had to try it. I like it even better than the stripe - it seemed to be a little more shaped and was more flattering to my small upper body. The little pockets are sweet, even though I thought the invisible zipper tabs were a little odd at first. It's on the short side - definitely at the edge of what I can wear to work, but still doable. (I recommend measuring the length of your dresses rather than trying to judge from other people's photos.) I will rent it again!

Maybe not enough curves
I chose this dress because I thought it looked good on a variety of people, as shown in the reviews. I, however, ended up not being one of those people! I am small on top, and there was a dart on one side that just needed more oomph to lie flat. Since this would not be suitable to wear to my job, I ended up not wearing it. Overall, the fabric is nice, heavy but with a matte finish, though I'm not wild about pulling things on over my head without a zipper. The cut out is a little unusual, but it could be my build.

Sequined Jumpsuit - that says it all
This jumpsuit is the reason why RTR exists: Not many people can justify owning a sequin jumpsuit, but wearing one for the night is wonderful. This jumpsuit fit like a dream - but like slim pants, not a lot of extra room, but the fabric has a bit of stretch. At 5'7", the length could have been longer, but I was going to a Tall Ships gala (hard to explain), so I needed to wear reasonably sensible shoes. When I first put it on, I thought the draping under the arm at waist level was a bit odd, but when it came time to get dressed for the event, I hardly noticed it. The back is really pretty, and I didn't have an impossible time getting in and out of it by myself. The jumpsuit is lined and therefore a little warm, which I appreciated because it was a breezy night, and I didn't bring a wrap - but the pockets came in handy as well! Don't rent this jumpsuit if you like to blend into the crowd - it turns heads, and other women will comment. So much fun to wear!

Great work dress - if you can go short
This is the dress that made me create a heart category, "rent it again." I love a good shift dress, and I am a fiber content snob. The fabric is a great weight, enough wool to make it real, but not so heavy that I couldn't wear it in New Orleans in April (which is more like summer than spring). I received numerous compliments - it has a great line and moves well. I am small up top and through my waist, so I found the cut a little boxy, but I still thought it was flattering. I'm 5'7". and it's probably a bit shorter than most of my work wear. Note that the dress is largely ivory (you couldn't wear a white sweater) with a navy chain print (but I wore a black wedge). Overall, a great work or everyday dress!

Wrong fabric for my body type
I ended up not wearing this dress. I was really surprised that this dress wasn't flattering on me. I am small in my upper body, and I think the dress was a little big. In addition, the embroidered fabric is sheer and doesn't have the kind of structure that is most flattering on me. It just hung rather limply, and I need a more tailored look. There wasn't enough definition in the waist for my body type. The embroidery and blending of colors is very pretty, and the construction of the bodice is very well done.

I am torn about this dress
I would give this dress 3 1/2 stars if I could. The color is great, and the stitching and pockets on the front are really cute. The fabric is really stiff - like unwashed Levis in the 1970s - and the neck rubbed when I sat down. For the cut, I have a smaller chest and do better with more shape at the waist; I rated it too large for its boxy shape. The slits on the sides are quite high, and since I live in a warm climate (and wanted to wear it immediately, lol), I wore a black slip as contrast; tights would be necessary for anyone over 5'5" who would be sitting down in the dress. I received a couple of compliments, but I work for a university whose signature color is green, so it went over well at my work event.
