The back was a little hard to zip up but I loved how heavy the material was. 

Gorgeous details and an unexpected, subtle purple color in the design. I wore it for a charity gala.

i didnt wear this dress as it seemed it would be too formal for the wedding venue. it isn't conservative per se, but did look old on me. it's also really heavy, and frankly i didn't feel like lugging such a heavy dress around in my carryon.

First RTR success! This dress is more beautiful in person. The design with gold and purple metallic threads looks luxe with a subtle shine. The bodice is reinforced with a corset bra with three sizes hooks. The skirt is a flowy chiffon over a black slip. It's very comfortable. As a petite, I typically have to go down a size for regular sizes, and I did go with the 0 over the 2. The length was almost mid-calf, but it wasn't too long. The top could have been tighter for me. I had it on the tightest bra hook, and I jumped around without slipping too far. However, even with a chicken cutlet bra, it slipped enough that I tugged it up several times. I received so many compliments and really loved how I felt and looked. It was perfect for a Halloween evening, country club wedding.

I wore this for a miniature, covid-era microwedding outdoors. The embroidery and color is just gorgeous. It fit beautifully; it is snug and secure. It has a built in bra and boning in the bodice - I felt comfortable in it but if you aren't used to that super cinched feel it might be an adjustment for you. I am very tall (6'1") and this didn't feel too short at all. The waist could have been a tiny bit lower for my frame, but I think it will be perfect on most torsos. The fabric is on the heavier side, but it was 90 degrees out and I honestly never felt like it was too hot to stand. Since the wedding was so small, fewer than 10 people, there was no dancing but I think it would be quite comfortable to dance in. Overall I felt really pretty in it! This was my first time not wearing a t shirt in like five months and I'm really happy I picked this!

(Disclaimer: I wore this dress in March 2017, but the pop-up reminder to review it won't disappear and it's annoying.) I did love this dress. I was injured right before a black-tie gala and not able to wear heels (just worn for photos), so I changed my rental at the last minute. The customer service team was super helpful!

The dress turned out lovely; it was a rather conservative tea length (definitely not showy on the legs), but the cut and fit of the bodice and the beautiful embroidery made it fun! It's rather heavy, so it was excellent for a late-winter event, but I think it would be too heavy and potentially uncomfortable in the summer. If I recall correctly, the colors come through a bit more in person - really a deep purple/burgundy sort of color scheme, with metallic/gold accents.

My favorite dress I've ever rented from RTR. 
Breathtakingly beautiful, intricate Art Deco design. 
It looked so expensive. Very comfortable to dance in, no bra needed.

I liked this dress. It absolutely fits true to size. It has black and purple with gold. I wore shiny gold and rhinestone studded heels and earrings with it. It wasn't a complete show stopper but a very pretty and a bit unusual dress.

This was a great dress for an evening wedding. Amazing fit and super comfortable for dancing the night away !

Fits true to size. I was specifically impressed with the fit around the top of my chest - no bulges but also the dress didn't slip down. 

The embroidery was stunning. It was a little tight around the rib cage, but still worked. I also wore a strapless even though it had a built in bra. I was worried about it looking worn from other reviews, but not the case. I'm 5'6" and 123lbs and wore a size 2.

True to size. Fully lined, well made dress. 

Fit great, I didn't need a strapless bra because the built in one was just fine. It stayed in place while dancing. 

This dress is beautiful in person. I'm 5'3", so it was longer than knee length on me, but looked gorgeous anyway. My only complaint about the dress was the boning. Because I have a short torso, the boning jabbed into me all evening instead of laying smooth as it would on someone with a longer torso. I wore it in Las Vegas for dinner and a show. I wouldn't rent it again for the same kind of evening with lots of sitting, but if I was going to be at a cocktail party mostly standing, I'd rent it again.

Loved wearing this dress to a formal party in New York City.  No need for a bra since the dress has one built in.  I usually wear 6/8 and wore this dress in a 6.  It fit nice and snug around the chest where you want it snug.  Perfectly comfortable and flowy on the bottom.

Fit true to size but recommend a strapless bra if you're a B cup or smaller 

Beautiful dress. I read the reviews and sized up for my backup size. But didn't need it. Dress is a little heavy and slid down my chest most of the night.  Received tons of compliments. 

In honesty loved this dress so much. I had no trouble with it staying up or being comfortable without a bra. It was totally gorgeous and I felt so beautiful in it!!

When I first ordered this dress, I was concerned that it would be too cutesy or prom-like for my style (and age). I was dead wrong. This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I wore it to my company Christmas party and received so many compliments. I highly recommend this dress.

This was a gorgeous and glamorous dress for a Gatsby-theme holiday party! The built-in bra was perfect and the dress was really comfortable.  The only thing missing?  Pockets!

I loved this dress. The details and color are spectacular. I wore it for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party, and the gold and purple embroidery was the perfect accent. The length was classy and easy to move around in. I didn't want to atop wearing it!  I wear a 6 or 8, but only ordered the 8, which fit slightly big on me. I think it does run true to size. Would definitely rent again. 

I wore this to a black tie affair.  Most women were in long gowns but I chose a shorter length dress because I am 5'1" and didn't want to rent a dress that was dragging on the floor.  I didn't feel underdressed because it is so sparkly!  

It was a little tight but was more my fault than the dresses. Lol. It was a heavier material so it was great for a fall wedding. My husband also loved the dress.

This dress will definitely stand out as an original.  With smaller boobs, I was happy to have a strapless dress with a built in bra that fit perfectly.  The length is fun for dancing.  The boning on the inside was sticking out a little so after a few hours of dancing I was left with a few red marks on my back, and the fabric on the top gets itchy!  Other than that, the dress itself is beautiful!

The pattern is very pretty and unique. The only issue I had with this dress was the boning in the bodice. I have a short torso so the boning was digging into my back especially when I sat down. I had no issues with the dress falling down as some strapless dresses do. The top was fitted well so I did not need to wear a bra.

This was a really special dress that was surprisingly comfortable. I had to go a size bigger than usual due to my large bust. I was probably in between sizes - I had to wear a strapless bra to hold up the dress. 

First, this fabric is luxurious with the most stunning and intricate designs.  Second, it's a very forgiving style and easy to dance and move in.  

The dress was a bit larger than expected, but I felt comfortable all night. Would definitely recommend for a formal wedding or event!

Dress fit perfectly and was fun to dance in. Has a built-in corset bra with back closure, but I still wore a strapless bra as well, for additional support. Fabric was heavier than most other dresses, so it was perfect for cooler temperatures.

The dress fit fine, maybe ran a touch large but not too bad. Fabric felt high quality. I ended up using my backup dress though, because this didn't feel "roaring twenties" enough. Biggest con is that it smelled horribly!! It smelled like cigarette smoke.

The design on the fabric was so beautiful and the fabric itself flowed nicely. Pretty easy to wear. It has a built in bra too. I wore to a bachelorette and a rehearsal dinner. I was maybe a little over dressed to both but still got tons of compliments!

This fit true to size, though I have a small bust (A/B)-- I could see someone with a larger bust needing a size up. It was a bit heavy for an outdoor summer wedding, but would be perfect for indoor or maybe fall events. Overall, great dress!
