Stunning detail & quality, too deep V-neck to wear
I'm a huge fan of Farm Rio and have bought more than one of their dresses through RTR. The level of detail and quality of materials on this dress are fantastic, however, the deep V is SO deep that it exposes the entirety of my bra! I'm too busty to go braless and I didn't like the look or feel of any tank, cami, or tube top, so I ended us sending it back. There was one hidden hook & eye clasp on the deep V, but this still wasn't enough -- my entire bra band was exposed. I just couldn't make it work. If you are considerably smaller in the chest than me, you could probably get by with sticky Cakes and some fashion tape, but that just won't work for me. Too bad because the colors are gorgeous!

Designed for people with slim, straight, athletic build
If you don't have many curves and have a straight build, this will work fine for you. But I am curvy, carring extra weight in my thighs and belly, so this did not work at all for me. And I'm confident this is not a sizing issue; I could lose another 20 lbs and it STILL wouldn't fit my body type. I technically got it buttoned the whole way, but it was in no way acceptable to wear. It clung so much around my hips that I'm pretty sure I would have popped the buttons if I had tried to sit down, it was gaping open so badly. Straight back to RTR!

More frumpy than model photo would suggest.
I thought this was going to be more upscale, given the model photos, but the cotton (linen?) was more rough and rugged than I expected. I am usually more comfortable in 16, but have been wearing size 14 in some items, so I thought I'd give it a try. I didn't end up wearing it because it was more snug than I would have liked. The waist was also higher than I prefered, so the belt seemed awkwardly high on my middle. I did like the belt detail in general, but RTR, you have GOT to stop sewing belts to the dresses so that they can't be adjusted! I will not rent this one again -- not for me.

Too small, too casual for an evening bag
I found this to be so ridiculously small that once I got my phone in, I couldn't get much else. Maybe a car fob, but that's about it. I couldn't even get my phone, my keys, and a slim wallet to fit without being bulky, and then it won't close because there's a magnetic closure. I will give it two stars just because the materials are really nice and the magnet is nice and strong, both of which I have come to expect with Tory Burch bags.

Waist too small; couldn't wear.
This was supposed to be a "great fit" with a 90% fit match, but the wast was so tight that my husband couldn't even zip over my rib cage.. I've had dresses with 70% fit match that fit better than this. It makes me think the waist proportion is totally off. Such a shame, because it did zip over my full hips and fit my full chest well. I think you have to have a very slim torso to get this zipped up. Truth be told, I do carry some extra weight in my mid-section. If you have an athletic or straight-n-narrow build, this would probably fit you better than me. It's also not the kind of fabric that can shrink, so I don't think that was the issue. Just not for me. .

I really wanted to like this dress, but it felt like someone ran it through the home washer and dryer and the top shrank. The waist was way too high (more like an empire waist, just below my bust) and the sleeves were too short, so the elastic hit in weird places. The skirt was so billowy I felt like a pregnant cow. I might try this one again in hope that I'm right, it shrank, but as it stand it's only "meh" and the hassle makes it not so much worth it. Too bad because I got tons of compliments on the color! It's such light fabric it will work well into the warmer months, even with the longer sleeves. This would be great if you have a really short torso and short arms!

Fabulous Fall Dress
It came with tags! I rented this for a conference, wish I’d been able to keep in for Thanksgiving, too. I thought it was going to be a thin material, like my last Farm Tio dress, but it is actually a nice medium weight cotton twill. The quality is obvious in the pattern, construction m, and attention to detail: a very well- made dress! However, don’t plan to just wear your regular bra underneath. The neckline was almost down to my navel, so you’re either (a) going braless, (b) wearing boob tape, or (c) wearing a cami underneath as I did. Most importantly, I want other girlies my size to see they can wear this, too.

Size down (maybe twice)!
This is a very long dress! I’m 5’5 and really had to cinch it high so as not to trip on all that fabric. The algorithm recommended an XXL, but I sizes down to XL based on reviews. Then I sent it back to size down to a L and this feels right. I am having trouble with the top-most button around my bust now, but I think that’s just this particular dress/button hole; nothing some fashion tape or a safety pin can’t fix. Also I have a big bust, so most other girlies won’t have this issue anyway. Note: sizing down did not fix the length as much as I had hoped. it’s just way less billowing fabric around my middle. All that being said, I got tons of compliments! I like that there are two layers of fabric because that creates slightly more insulation, making it just warm enough throughout the Fall. Note: I’m wearing this with a gold double-chain necklace from Demarion, also from RTR. Current stats: 5’5”, 210, 38DDD/D.

I wear it every day!
I have not stopped wearing this since I rented it. I love how chunky it is, and the two chains. I would say it’s maybe a smidge longer than I normally prefer, but then that makes it PERFECT to wear over mock turtleneck dresses in Winter and Fall. I’m not ready to give this one back yet!

The pattern camouflaged my problem areas
I rented this as a back-up for both a wedding and a work gala. Pro: The busy pattern camouflages a lot; the material is very stretchy and accommodating; doesn’t wrinkle in your luggage; sleeves are translucent, but otherwise has coverage where you need it. Cons: very thin for Fall/Winter and will not keep you warm; low, diagonal waist hit me weird (did not love).

So classy and warm!
I didn’t actually love this coat in the photos online, but I knew I needed something to keep me warm in a formal dress for a wedding up North in late Fall. Turns out it was even better than the photos because I loved it once I put it on! It was plenty large for my full figure; if anything, a little oversized, Kinda wish I’d snagged it as a monthly rental for the season, it was that warm and well made.

Fun Fall Dress
I rented this because it’s so wildly diffferent than what I’d normally choose. Wasn’t even sure it would fit, but the flowing fabric and tie at the waist made it very loose and forgiving with all my curves. Even though the fabric has a nice thickness, it’s still Satin, so it isn’t going to keep you warm. Wear it in early Fall before the weather turns. I love the billowing sleeves and feminine patterns. Even though I needed several strips of fashion tape to keep the fabric from gaping, I would give it 5 stars — it’s just that fun to wear. This is going in my permanent rotation.

Best new skirt rental!
I love, love, love this new high-waisted skirt from Adam Lippes. It is very well made and you can tell the material is high quality, too. The oversized buttons give a vertical element that makes you look taller. The high waist helps smooth all my curves, and I am a very curvy girl, hovering just under 210lbs now at 5’5’’. And best of all, when you sit down, the material is not going to gap because the sections are actually sewn closed. No worries of flashing anyone or buttons popping open! It’s perfect for Fall. I felt so chic wearing it at work!

Perfect 50’s-60’s throwback. I felt like I had just stepped off the set of Mad Men. I got compliments all day. Material is perfect for late spring/summer; the pleats make the skirt very full. Arm holes are appropriately sized, too - no gaping. Only complaint might be the side zipper which irritated my under-arm area one day. 10/10 will rent this again in the Spring!

Doesn't hold as much as you'd think
The material is quite stiff and thick, meaning that even though it should be a decent size, it's actually quite cumbersome to get the flap open and shove a modestly sized wallet in and out. Pockets are also too tight for the same reasons - useless. On top of that, the rafia is quite matted down in several places, probably due to shipping, and it's difficult to fluff back up. It just makes it look shabby. On the upside, the hardware is great quality and the chain glides nicely. I loved the locking mechanism on the flap. Love that it could be either a shoulder bag or crossbody in theory. It just wasn't practical for me. Return!

Way Too Small -- Couldn't Wear
This "Good Fit" was nowhere close. I couldn't even begin to get it buttoned, and the skirt was about 2'' shorter than my finger tips, which is not at all how it is pictured online. Pros: The fabric is nice quality, nice designer details, the pretty gold buttons fasten easily, and the belt (while it is sewn in such a way that it cannot be removed) is not directly sewn to the body of the dress, and can therefore slide a bit inside the belt loops. Cons: Length is much shorter than in the photos, sizing is completely off, sleeves are overly puffy, and worst of all, the belt (which was crumpled will not lie flat because of the weird tether situation they've come up with to have it sewn onto the dress (but at least the belt can slide). Honestly, I wonder if someone laundered this dress themselves at home and it shrunk because the sizing is just thatr far off. I've never seen RTR measurements/metrics this bad before! 1 star because it is an absolute waste of a spot if I can't even get it on. It's going straight back to RTR. Very disappointed!

I wish it were larger!
I would buy this if it held more, but it only really works as an evening bag. My iPhone 13 fit inside, but my 8” wallet did not. Nor could I fit both my phone and my sunglasses case simultaneously. I loved how easily the chain glides through the rings when I switched wearing it on my shoulder to crossbody style. Turnlock clasp was also really solid and easy to use (but it looked like the gold color was wearing off/more silver in spots from normal wear). It’s maybe a little too fancy for a day bag anyway, but it’s cute! I loved this bag overall and will rent it again for an evening event.

2nd time renting
This runs really long! I wouldn’t recommend this if you’re shorter than me (5’5”). I wore 2” heels and it was still too long. In fact, my heels got caught in the lining multiple times and I nearly tripped! Aldo, don’t rent for hot weather — the polyester will be suffocating! It’s best for early Spring. I wore this for an awards ceremony when the weather was in the 60’s/70’s and that was just right. Note: Pink crossbody is by Furla and also from RTR. It complimented the pink flowers in the fabric nicely.

Fully lined, but not hot.
I didn’t end up wearing this as it was too small to accommodate my 38DDD/40DD chest. I was going to wear a cami underneath, but then I also had trouble with the wrap skirt, as it barely overlapped and fashion tape would not stick to the fabric at all! I attribute this to the fact that it arrived brand new tags, so it still probably had that new-clothes-waxy-sheen on the cotton. The fabric itself was nice and I appreciated that it was fully lined with a thin cotton. Great for summer. Bummer I couldn’t make this work, especially since I have worn the same size in this brand before (and it ran big!) I hope my photo helps someone make an informed rental!

Large crossbody
I liked how much I could fit in here. It works as a day bag. I did not like how stiff the leather was, but the wide zippered opening helped make up for it. I also did not like that the strap wasn’t adjustable or removable. Zipper chains were annoying and didn’t lay flat. Leather was also pretty stiff, and since it shipped flat it wouldn’t sit upright on a flat surface, but always wanted to flop over to one side. My (smaller) iPhone 13 JUST fit in the outer pocket. No pockets or fabric lining inside. Also, I don’t think the measurements listed are correct. Maybe it is 16 inches if flattened, but the zip opening was only about 10”. I might still rent it again since it can hold so much stuff. Not my favorite, but perfectly fine for a rental.

Sizing is fine, if anything, a little large. The cut is very straight and did nothing to define my waistline. Could have worn a belt to cinch it, but then it would be a little shorter than I want. I actually liked the billowy sleeves. Fabric feels like any other basic polyester, not worth the price tag, but it’s cute enough. It is good for transition weather, like early Spring I didn’t care for the tapered hemline (longer in the back). One redeeming detail is the pockets! I doubt I’ll rent it again though; there are better options.

Nice staple
This review is for the XL size which is the size RTR’s algorithm recommended for me. I think it is just a bit too tight, and as a result, is riding higher (i.e. shorter) than I’d prefer. I love the diagonal ribs in the woven design that run below and frame my chest. The fabric is not stiff or scratchy, but still very structured, so it hides my problem tummy and hangs nicely on my frame. The sleeves also were a bit too snug to be flattering, so I’d recommend sizing up. The attention to detail in the design and construction really are designer level. It’s a very nice staple that you can dress up or down.

Perfect for a Spring garden party!
Not so great if you’re just wearing it to work, as I did. I saw others post photos with the shoulders covered, not bare, but in reality I struggled to keep my shoulders covered all day. Even 3 sets of fashion tape wasn’t enough. Cotton fabric was stiff and papery(just FYI). Also it was starting to fade, but that was probably only noticeable to me. I didn’t like how it hung triangularly off my body. It made me look 30 lbs. heavier. So I cinched the waist with a wide belt, but then it was giving German drindl vibes. Still cute. Just a little too frou-frou for my needs. Hem is asymmetrical, longer in the back. Pockets were definitely a win. I might rent it again in the right setting.

Why is nobody talking about the fabulous interior??!
I rented this for my vacation to Italy since it can be worn as a crossbody and it is zippered. It's on the small side, so not big enough for a full day outing, but I used it in the evenings for going out to dinner. On the flight home it held my iphone, passport, battery pack, charging cord, earbuds, lozenges, a mini lipstick, contact case and coin purse! When not worried about pickpockets, I found the zipper somewhat annoying and just used the magnet closure. Thanks to the design, nothing would fall out. I like how easy it was to get into since the leather was supple and buttery smooth. Only other complaint is that my hair sometimes got caught in the snaps when worn as a crossbody - ouch! Overall, excellent quality and a touch of sophistication for my outfits.

I lived in this dress!
I only swapped this because it finally needed to be laundered. I thought it was going to be "Fall Season" weight, but it turned out to be a very thin rayon. Perfect for layering. It was perfect for travel. Pretty spring color
This bag received compliments because of the unusual handle. I thought the stone were real pink granite from the pucturw, but now I’m pretty sure they’re plastic. That was a letdown. Inside the bag is lined with an off-white canvas, so everything is easy to see. That’s good, because inside it’s one vacuous void, with no compartments, no pockets! Still, I love a large bag that can hold everything.

Peplum fit is great for hourglass/wide hips
This ended up being a great cardigan for my trip to Rome. I paired it with the Ulla Johnson Vitorria Dress. I probably could have sized up to XXL if it had been in stock, but it worked. Fabulous for cinching my waist. It was thick and kept me warm when the nights dropped into the 40's. Only complaint is travel realted: it was heavy and didn't compress, so it took up significant weight and room in my luggage.

I rented this thinking it would be great in cold winter. Nope! It’s a thin polyester with no heat retention. In fact, I didn’t care for the material or the cut of the bodice at all, so I didn’t wear it. Fit was too snug, particularly on top to be comfortable for all-day wear. Better suited for fall, or for a funeral.

Super short, like, way shorter than on the model!
I love everything about this sweater except the length. It felt like it stopped just below my boobs. (Truly, it was longer than that, but it honestly didn't cover my whole midrift down to my belly button. I had to wear something underneath so as to not expose any skin.) I love how soft the yarn is, so cozy, it was roomy enough in the chest, shoulders, and upper arms, so it's not the fit that's too small or too tight. Great sweater for elevating the everyday look. I might rent it again; just really need to consider what to wear underneath.

Perfect for the office!
Love this sweater! The brown and beige are perfect for fall. Wish there was an option to size up, but the knit material has a lot of stretch, so it will conform to any body type. It felt so luxurious on! (I didn’t wear the matching cami because it was way too revealing with my triple D’s.)

Surprisingly Soft!
I borrowed this piece because of the asymmetry. The cable-knit portion is sewn to an otherwise complete garment, so no need worrying about it flying open like a wrap dress. It’s wool, which I often find itchy, but this was SO soft compared to many other wool garments I own. 10/10 will be renting this one again!

Too Tiny To Be Practical
I love the gorgeous color of the material, and it was supple too, but the purse was too small to use on a daily basis. The measurements are misleading; the bottom of the bag was barely bigger than my iphone. I couldn't even fit a bill-length wallet inside. I also did not like the way that the gold closure stuck out. Sent it right back.

Squared shoulders make it unique
The sewn-in bodice piece is odd at first glance, but the dress overall is made to accommodate any body shape. I have a lot of curves and this was very flattering. The cotton is thin, but high quality - perfect for humid weather in Florida. 10/10 will rent this again.

Something different!
These cat-eye frames are something I would never gravitate toward, which makes them all the more fun to try as a rental. The ivory edges are very eye-catching. They seem well suited for a smaller face. (Every other pair of shades I’ve rented from RTR have been too big on me, but these fit well. These also have nose pads, but that’s perfect for me because I have no bridge and always struggle with any shades or glasses sliding down my face. Tint is minimal compared many sunglasses, but I kinda like this. They look darker in the model photo than they really are. (Don’t be fooled - I took this photo indoors at night, just to post.) If you’re in really bright sunlight, they may not be dark enough.

Okay as a rental.
I like the coverage of this piece for teaching. The bodice was not tight, but did fit strangely since I have such large breasts. It’s doesn’t seem designed to accommodate a larger cup sizes; not really suited for my body type. I also have really large upper arms and the sleeves just barely fit around my biceps. (To be fair, I rented this in August, the most humid month in Florida, and a horrible time to wear polyester.) For these reasons I would not buy it, but I still have it on my spring wardrobe list. I really like the colors and flowing fabric.
