This dress was FANTASTIC! It is worth your rental. The material is a bit thicker than a normal dress similar to a neoprene but not stiff. It's a gorgeous shade of navy with bold flowers that are a gorgeous hue of magenta. The white floral pops and it's an easy to wear dress overall. Easy to match shoes and a bag to it because of the basic color palette. Just loved it. Got a bunch of compliments. Felt appropriately dressed being modest but also being somewhat sexy.

Found this gem in the NYC flagship when I needed to exchange my original dress. The length was great for a black tie optional event that I was attending and the neckline was modest for me to feel comfortable as my dad was my date. Worn for a family member's wedding, I wanted a lightweight dress for an outdoor event at the end of the summer. The colors on this dress are beautiful, the material is a great lightweight for the summer but the hem was so incredibly short that I felt like my lady parts were going to peek out if I crossed my legs too quickly - or uncrossed them! I wore the XL in order to make the length work because the replacement turnaround time was too risky for my event's timing. I found the belt to be very difficult to maneuver correctly. I also pinned the top of the dress to keep it a little more modest as it was a family wedding. What was great was that I could wear a regular bra.

This dress was MADE for Instagram! Seriously! I got a TON of compliments in person but man did my IG go off all night when I posted a photo. The sequins catch the light so well and the purple and teal mix is gorgeous together. I paired the dress with a pair of black pumps and used a gold colored bag. The dress had a good amount of stretch to it, I could have worn the Large but it felt too short for my liking and went with the Extra Large for comfort of length. The top was LOW for sure, I wore it with a strapless bra because I'm not very comfortable without a bra but could have taped everything in and been fine for the evening. I honestly felt like I needed the Large top of the dress and Extra Large Bottom of the dress. When I tried it on the sequins itched through the dress terribly but with shape wear to cover my torso it was way more comfortable for the evening. This was definitely a fun dress to wear!

I received so many compliments on this dress and was even greeted at the wedding by a friend saying "rent the runway? You always have such fabulous dresses!" What i liked: the color is so much more beautiful in person than on the website. The raised hem and ruffle bottom made this dress interesting and so fun! What i didn't like: it runs small, i wore the larger of the two sizes and still felt stuffed in it a little. The cut of the top is slightly weird, I'm also very busty (also nursing so this fluctuates during the day) and while I didn't fear reveal, i felt it could have come higher under my armpit. I'd definitely rent again if i weighed about 5-10 pounds less.

I rented this for my daughter's christening, I wanted something in a pink or purple and that I would be able to nurse in. This dress fit all of those categories and fit beautifully as I'm only 2.5 month's postpartum and not exercising yet. (Spanx helped to smooth too). The material is light in weight (glad i had full length undergarments as i have a large tattoo on my back) and the sleeves are an amazing feminine detail. The cross front was great but a little big for me so I had to pin it for church, if I'd worn the large it would not have fit my hips but would have fit my top so the extra large made more sense. Would absolutely rent this again! Said to my husband "this was one of my favorites, I felt so good in it!" Lots of compliments all day.

This was a replacement for my original order, I'm so glad I found it! The dress has a nice amount of stretch to it that I felt comfortable in my own body and to eat for the night. The color was nice and bold and stood out from the typical black dresses. The ruffle detail on the side is gorgeous, not too much not too little, the slit comes up about mid thigh and while I wore longer length Spanx I was able to make it work because the slit is covered by the ruffle detail. The halter style neck was very flattering and I didn't feel like I was exposed at all which is always comfortable. I was able to move and dance in the dress comfortably. I paired the dress with black sparkly sandals as I'm not a heel person in the least and it was a good match. The zipper is tough to get up where the center of the fabric gathers but a generous tug got it up. The eyelet hook was sewn over but not necessary either. Great summer wedding dress.

So I did not know, but this dress has an open back to it, under the cape. The dress overall fit great but I needed to be taller to really make the top work the way it was supposed to. My husband ended up safety pinning me into the dress because I HAD to wear it for a work gala I was attending. I did wear a regular bra and managed to wear high waist shapers with the dress too. The cape covered any spots where my undergarments poked out but I was also checking constantly. Wore this for my niece's christening and reception. The material under the lace is stretchy and form fitting, it hugged my curves comfortably without me feeling like I was sucked in at all. The lace is a pretty turquoise and golden green-ish color, I think I expected it to be more gold than green but it was still pretty. The length is just about to the knees (I'm 5'1") and the neckline is modest without being stuffy. The only complaint I had is that I didn't get the usual "wow you look great" from my husband, but that was because he felt the dress looked like something his mom would wear - and it totally was, she kept asking me if she could buy it from the site.

I'm 8 months post baby and not all of the weight is gone, we had a family wedding and I wanted to make sure that I had a dress to feel comfortable in and look fashionable. I loved the vibrant colors on this dress, the other pictures that I previewed on RTR did not do the colors justice and I hope that mine help to see the pink, coral and lavenders that really popped on the black background. The high neck was great and made it so that I didn't need to add a necklace but could wear statement earrings. The material was heavier than I expected (noted in other reviews) but stretchy and comfortable, even in 100+ degree weather! The length was a little shorter than I normally wear but not so short that I couldn't wear the long length spanx underneath. What was especially exciting for me was the pockets! Not that I needed to carry anything in them, they were super fun! The flare of the skirt from the waist was very flattering for my shape (big hips/butt) and I didn't feel like I was stretching the top with my chest (I am also still nursing and the dress was still comfortable when I was full). I also loved the fact that I was able to wear a regular bra and not have to worry about straps hanging out because of the wide fit of the material. This was definitely one of my favorite dresses I've rented.

I had rented another dress that unfortunately did not fit comfortably (due to some temporary weight gain in my middle section). I was able to swap out the original dress for the Badgley Mischka Stormy Skies Sheath and am SO glad I did. The front of this dress is so simple with it's high neck and tee-shirt dress like appearance but the back is what makes this dress a show stopper! I was not able to wear a bra with it, which for me is something I never do, but the front was supportive enough that I was able to get away with it for the night - I'd recommend a nubra for anyone looking to rent this with a larger bust. Badgley Mischka dresses tend to have some stretch to them and despite the sequins and the appearance of this being a tight dress it lived up to my expectations. I was so comfortable and was able to move around and dance all night long. The color is fantastic and really is a charcoal-y blue color and is pretty accurate in the picture online. I paired the dress with nude slingbacks to keep things simple and kept my hair to the side (as pictured) for the night so that the back of the dress was the focal point. My husband thought it was such a great find and I received compliments throughout the night. I ordered both a 10 and a 12, I ended up going with the 12 because I've recently gained a few extra pounds, particularly around my mid section. The top of the dress was a little loose at the straps, I could have fixed this with a little fashion tape but I didn't think it was that major of a pain. I was able to wear a regular strapless bra with the dress despite what other reviews mentioned of needing a low-back bra or a backless bra. The waist was a little tight, which wasn't a problem until the end of the night for me when it felt a lot more uncomfortable than I would have preferred. The skirt on this dress is GORGEOUS, it's a silvery white color and the pattern is slightly raised. The pleats on the skirt are really flattering for those with wide hips and a large behind (ME!). My husband kept telling me throughout the night how pretty this one looked on me, definitely recommend renting this to anyone who is considering!

I spent the entire night receiving compliments on this dress. I ordered it because it was a beautiful green (slightly more teal in real life) and was a great summery color. I loved the pattern of the material online and was really excited to order this for my best friend's bridal shower. The theme was I Dream of Jeannie and we (bridal party) focused on pink, green, and gold as the colors so this hit all of the marks. I wore the size 10, it was a little snug in the arms and across my chest and I had some trouble getting the zipper up with no help but it was comfortable. The length came just above my knees which made me feel really comfortable as most dresses tend to be short on me because of my butt. I had rented this with the hope of it being the dress for me, and as soon as I put it on I knew it wasn't. I am curvy (wide hips) and the skirt fit very small; I'm also busy and there was SO much material I was swimming in it at the top - bizarre. I think that to pull this dress off you would need a longer torso and few curves. The material was fantastic though and the color is really bright and vibrant, with a tint of red to it in person.
