I paired this sheath with nude heals and sparkly bangles and earrings, which was perfect. This dress was pretty much 'true to size.  However, I found it ran a bit small in the arms, which is why I went with the size 8 I ordered as a backup instead of the 6.  I danced for hours and was comfortable all evening in this sheath.  Compliments poured in all evening...I truly felt glamorous.  I cannot say enough about this dress...Perfect!!!

This dress is a great option for people who want to wear a bra and/or have their arms covered. Both the 8 and the 10 fit, but I ended up wearing the 10 because it was more flattering around the middle. Love it! Wish I could own it!

Fit like a glove, it is tight but the lace running down the dress vertically helps hide imperfections.

I wish I could keep this dress!  It is stunning in person and has such a flattering fit.  It fits very true to size and you can wear a regular bra and shapewear underneath.  I got so many compliments all night long.  This was for a fashion week event and it turned some heads!!  The sleeves do not have give but I have muscular arms and I was fine in them so there is enough room compared to most other dresses.  I am a 36 DDD and it fit exactly perfect.  It is very comfortable.  I felt classy and beautiful.  Will rent again!

Needed a dress for a work-related evening affair in Northern California. Nights can be cool so the sleeves were perfect, and since this was a work event the fact that the dress wasn't super mini in length was great. I am glad I listened to reviews about the sleeves and sized up because I needed to wear my backup size (6... Usually my backup is a 4) because the arms were very tight and had no give. I had a hard time raising my arms or reaching back to zip my dress in the 4. My arms are muscular, but I don't usually have an issue. 

Dress was in great shape... Zipper was easy to do on my own. Another great RNR experience!

I wore this to a convention in Arizona. The colors are fantastic and is one of a kind. The detail is so unique. 
It will be sure to make you STAND OUT in a crowd!
I do agree with the sleeves. They are a bit snug but nothing you can't work with.

Such a classy and comfortable dress. I received compliments all day. Even though the arms were tight like many of the reviewers mentioned, I was still comfortable and it's the perfect dress to camouflage un-toned arms. 

I wore this for a ladies luncheon fundraising event, and although I probably wouldn't wear it to daytime engagements again.- I  eve ivied so many compliments (literally, every person I interacted with said things like " we were noticing your dress earlier and talking about how it's the best one here!"). Fits well, true to size, perhaps a little snug in the arms. Overall, incredibly pleased with the dress.

This dress was absolutely beautiful in person. The detail in the dress is very unique and definitely stands out. I received so many compliments on this dress when I wore it. Dress fits true to size and I did not feel like I couldn't move in it after eating something. I was unsure of this dress but after reading the reviews I was sold! Rent this dress! The colors are amazing, fit great- slimming but not too tight. The lace runs a little longer on the bottom, which gives it a sexy but sophisticated look. I wore this to a family wedding and received so many compliments.  

I wore this for a Bar Mitzvah party on a Saturday evening.  I got so many compliments it was amazing.  I was really nervous about it fitting right but the 8 was perfect.  I could have gotten away with the smaller size but didn't want to risk the perfect fit.  I got so many compliments about the dress and how it looked.  I really loved it!  My husband was blown away about how it looked on me.

The dress was fantastic--arrived right on time, was clean and well-cared for and it looked great.  I ordered the 8 (my usual size) and 10--and wore the 10.  I had planned on wearing gold high-heeled sandals with it, but took a nasty fall and my leg was black and blue and greenish--so I had to wear hose for the first time in years and lower heels.  Didn't matter.  I got compliments all night long, from men and women, and was so happy to spread the news about RTR.  Can't wait to get my next dress tomorrow for an event next weekend!  This was my first RTR and there will be many more!

Dress is beautiful, I had so many compliments on it!  Sleeves are tight but they do loosen up during the night, but like everyone else said here they were hard to dance in.  Get a size up if you have athletic arms and you want to play it safe.  I went ahead and stayed with the 2 though as it fit my body better.  Such a fun dress, I was sad to send it away.  I crashed my bike pretty bad the weekend before hence the knee brace, not a completely desired accessory but everyone thought it was great that I still rocked the short dress in style. ;)

Wore this dress to a Winter Gala. It was really comfortable and fit was great. Showed off my curves but fabric had enough give to not be tight. Loved being different in a sea of LBDs!

So elegant and classy!  I loved the colors. It was such a comfortable stretchy dress great for my curvy figure. I may have even been able to wear a 6. I received compliments all night. 

This dress is amazing! I normally wear a 6 and this one was sent in an 8, which was probably lucky for me because the 8 fit perfectly. I received a ton of compliments.

I loved the dress. It was really comfortable and I got a bunch of compliments on it. I got both size 4 and 6 to try on. The four fit, but because of the sleeves (a little tight for dancing/throwing your arms in the air) I went with the six -and it was perfect. The green is a perfect pop of color (thought it look great with my red hair). Such a cute dress! 

I got this as a substitute dress from RTR when the one I ordered was damaged. It's really quite beautiful. I loved the lace detail, and it fits very nicely too. I'm actually glad that I got to try out a different dress because it made me step out of the box a little, with amazing results. This is probably one of the nicest dresses I've ever rented from RTR. I would wear it again in a heartbeat.

Rented this beautiful dress for my husband's formal holiday work party. The intricate lace patterns are gorgeous! The fit was perfect; the dress hugs you in all the right places without being tight or uncomfortable. A friend told me it looked like a dress Kate Middleton would wear. I agree! Classy and subtly sexy.

The dress fit extremely well. I went with the 6 as opposed to the 4 because the arms were a bit too tight. The 6 was perfect, looked great, and was extremely comfortable. 

Received a ton of compliments at a black tie function where many ladies choose not to wear long gowns. I'm 5'10" and athletic w curves, and you can see how it comes almost to my knee, though the slip is shorter than the lace. Great form fitting dress. I did not find the sleeves to be snug as previous reviewers mentioned. Awesome RTR experience and look forward to my next rental! 

I rented this dress for a December wedding. Wore it with nude pumps. I loved everything about this dress, it was true to size as I wore size 6. I bought my husband a lime green tie to match my dress. We looked great! I will def. rent this dress again. 

Loved this dress and received a ton of compliments on it. It came new with the tags on it as well. It was a little tight under the arm, but last time I rented from this designer I got a 2 and found it to be a little large (maybe because it wasn't brand new). Regardless, I would rent this dress again! 

Everything about this dress was perfection. It fit like a glove, the colors popped, and it was incredibly comfortable. I have never received so many compliments on a dress in my life! I never would have picked this dress out for myself, but a RTR stylist I worked with insisted I try it on, and I was sold immediately. This is the style of dress you have to rent and not buy because it makes such a statement. Absolutely stunning!

I love this dress. Rent it. Now. The material is stretchy, more than I expected, but without being too clingy. I felt like it hugged curves well, but was very forgiving. Very comfortable to wear, long sleeves kept me warm on a cold winter night, this dress would probably be too much if it is a warm environment. I was worried about the length, but I'm 5'3", the dress was just at the knees, not too long or odd looking when wearing heels. The color is a beautiful navy with green lace that looks almost golden depending on the lighting. The material made me feel very elegant. Very unique if you are in a sea of little black dresses.

This dress was gorgeous!! I'm short and was a little concerned about the length, but it fit incredibly well! The sleeves felt a little stiff at first but once I got used to them, I was very comfortable. 

This dress is beyond gorgeous. I was surprised there were no reviews before I rented it but I loved the color so much, I took the plunge. I was not disappointed. The key lime green is beautiful and the dress itself was super comfortable. I chose to wear the size 8 instead of the 6 because it felt a little looser around the hips. I loved this dress and would definitely rent it again for another event. 

Wore this dress for my bridal shower.  The contrasting greens look amazing, and I received so many compliments.  Only reason why I gave it 4 and not 5 stars id because there is absolutely no stretch in the sleeves, so that part of the dress is a little uncomfortable.  But overall a great dress that I would recommend!

This dress was beautiful for the wedding I attended. Accurately described, lace overlay hit right at the knees and the solid dress was slightly higher. So many compliments. The only complaint I have was that one of the armpits smelled slightly, and it was not from me. If not for that, this dress would have received 5 stars!

I initially rented this for a formal fundraiser and opted for short since I would be among a sea of floor length dresses. at the last minute I decided to go more formal as well for the gala, but wore this dress the next night for a Sunday night more casual event, dressed down with a cream blazer and caramel heel boots. I'm glad I got to wear it to something! 

The dress fit very well, I'd say the sleeves were snug, but I'm a rock climber, so it's hard to tell if that's an across the board thing, or a just me thing. As such, I had to hitch the sleeves up above my elbows so I could move them and didn't rip the dress, it was a bit of a slow process, but once they were up there, the dress was comfy as could be. 

Length: It hit right at my knee. 
Fit: I'm normally a size 10, but my size wasn't available so I rented the 12. The lace is very stretchy and forgiving. It was roomy in the waist, hips and arms but worked out great. I really wanted to wear this dress and received lots of compliments. In a sea of black dresses, it was so nice to wear something different. 

I was really drawn to the unique color scheme and lace overlay when I initially saw the pic on the website- and I liked it just as much in person.  The cut was great for my figure and the arms (no give/stretch) were not too tight at all. I'm short, so it was longer than I would typically wear- but that is more a critique of my legs than the dress!

 I ordered a 4 and a 6. The 4 fit a lot better overall but the sleeves are SO small, I ended up wearing the 6 so I could move my arms.

I agree! Our pictures don't quite do justice to the beauty of this dress.  It's an eyecatcher, vibrant, forgiving, and comfortable. It  hugs our curves and allows us to eat, drink, and, dance all night! Had wished that the sleeves were tight as others had complained, but previous renters might have stretched mine. Not too noticeable. This is my 1st RTR experience and I am totally coming back! 

Fits great! Lace and details are gorgeous. Color is brighter and more vibrant then it looks online. I got a tons of compliments and felt great in this dress.

I absolutely loved the colors of this dress for a Spring/Summer wedding. I usually wear a size 6 which was sold out, so I had to go one size up (size 8). The size 8 was a little too big and not as fitting as I wanted it to be, but it was comfortable. I loved the length of the dress and the pop of the "lime green" against the navy blue. My only complaint is that the sleeves felt a bit loose from previous renters. Other than that, it was a lovely dress, easy to move in, breathable, and I will definitely rent again! (hopefully in my preferred size)

I picked size 6 and 8 for the dress but in reality could have used a size 10 but it wasn't available. My husband loved the dress so much that I winged it and wore the 8. I did feel a bit uncomfortable in it because it seemed to accentuate my curves and not in a good way. I felt I had to suck in my belly the whole time and basically spent most of the time using my hands to cover my belly area. But overall, it is a great dress and so many complemented me on it. I won't be renting this again but will look for more body appropriate dresses for next time.

Such a beautiful dress! Arms were definitely a little tighter but the smaller size gave me a better shape. Everyone stopped me in the dress and commented on it! Very sophisticated and flattering. 

I am 5'7" and 122 lbs. I usually take a 4 or 2 and the 4 fit perfectly. As others noted, the arms are tight; I have thin arms and they were snug in me. It hit just about knee length, which was perfect for me.

I love this dress and wish I could keep it! I rented it for a fall wedding and the colors were perfect for the fall. The fit is very flattering. Like other reviewers my only issue was with the sleeves which were tight and itchy. When I tried on the size 4 the sleeves weren't tight or as itchy, but the dress was loose. So I stuck with the size 2 and dealt with the sleeves.

This dress was so comfortable. I'm 5'10" and the lace was just above my knees. The lining was about 5 inches above that. It was perfect. I wore the 10 which was just a little loose which made it perfect for dancing but still flattered my figure.

The mid length sleeves and short hemline were a perfect combo and looked classy at a formal gala. I paired it with nude patent pumps and minimal silver jewelry. I got compliments all night. I was concerned because I wanted to order an 8 and a 10, but only a 6 and 8 were available, but the 8 was perfect.

I really liked this dress! I was unsure about the key lime color, but the color with the darker green is really beautiful. I wore this to a December wedding and received a lot of compliments. It's also comfortable, which is always a plus. It's also a very flattering cut. 

Cute dress.  It fit true to size. Was a little longer than I would have liked.  Nothing too special.

Rented this dress and stood out among a sea of sequins! The pop of green was a beautiful contrast. I received so many compliments and felt beautiful from the moment I put the dress on. The lace and materials felt and looked luxurious. This one I did not want to take off & return! 

The fit was true to size for me, although I can see why others have said the arms are too tight. I'd recommend sizing up if your arms are more toned or would like a looser fit in that area. I wish it would have been just a little shorter (it hit just below my knee) but at 5'2" it was to be expected.

Size 2 is my size, the sleeves are tight. i had hard time raising my arm .  I have straight body with no curves, so this style is not for me.  the zipper on my back keep poking out. I think because im petite. I tried size 4 , its too big for me. 
I think if you are tall, skinny arm and with curves - this is for you. The color of the dress is beautiful, i had to do some photoshoot before i return it.  I didn't wear  this on new years  eve .  I had to return it the next day because it is not flattering on my body type. Although the dress looks great on the photo, but it is how i pose.

I *loved* this dress! Great colors, cool details, and a great fit. This was my first ever RTR dress, and it won me over. Tons of compliments and just felt great in it.

This dress is my favorite RTR order to date!  The dress  had the perfect amount of stretch to skim my curves without being too tight.  The colors and lace were lovely and I achieved the classy, feminine look that I was going for. 

I wore this dress to a Wizard of Oz themed award ceremony. The colors are bright and lovely which was perfect for the event. The fit is true to size. Fabric has some stretch in it which was perfect for hugging my awkward hourglass body shape! I felt fabulous in this dress!

The dress ran a little small I usually wear an 8 but it was very tight so went up to a 10.   It was a very nice dress. Very appropriate for an afternoon church wedding.   

Online I thought the dress was a teal and key lime color, but it was actually more a teal and gold which was beautiful! The dress hugs your curves perfectly but isn't uncomfortable. I got so many compliments from random women in the bathroom throughout the day! Wore it with chunky earrings. Wish I could keep this one! Tip: pairs perfectly with OPI gel color "CIA: Color Is Awesome" if you're looking to match! :)

Absolutely loved this dress! It was my first time with RTR and I'm definitely trying it again. Got tons of compliments at the wedding I went to. It looks expensive and lavish wearing it, and its comfortable to wear for a long period of time!


This dress was so comfortable and looked great on. It fits a little snug in my regular size but I was still able to move around with ease. I received several compliments on it. They all loved the style and color.

Really liked this dress. Very unique. My dress arrived with some loose threads and had obviously been worn many times but it wasn't obvious. It's true the sleeves were not very flexible but I had no trouble dancing. I actually loved the sheer sleeves because I didn't have to worry about bringing a wrap. The pictures don't show how intricate the pattern is. This is definitely a fall/winter dress, you will get too hot in the summer. Great option if you want to stand out among the basic black dresses. The length and high neck were appropriate and classy for a more formal event. I wore simple gold jewelry, the design doesn't require much more.

wore this dress to a spring wedding and really wanted to keep it! so east to wear, doesnt require any special undergarments and  hits in the right places. the colors are also very vibrant which makes it a fun  compared to some lace dresses. it is also a good length for a wedding, even with my slightly taller than average height. only complaint is that it smelled slightly like the dry cleaning chemicals upon first removing it from the bag. just needs a few hours to air out, otherwise would have been 5 stars

This dress was a hit! I wore it to a March wedding in Seattle and got tons of compliments. I was a bit worried about the fit because the reviews said it ran small (especially in the arms), but it felt just fine. The fabric has a bit of give and the dress hugs the body nicely. I wore it with Spanx and a regular bra, the Kate Spade Golden Moment earrings from RTR, a gold Kate Spade clutch, and a pair of strappy two-piece nude heels. I would absolutely recommend renting this dress. 

I wore this to a wedding.  Perfect length. Great choice! The neon green/yellow accent lace worked so well with the blue.  The waist was a little loose, but not terrible, and the hips had the perfect amount of bootyPOP.  The sleeves were nearly too tight, I had someone zip me up, I was afraid of ripping the lace if I did it myself.
My main beef was the off-kilter accent lace and neckline.  The lace was asymmetrical and threatened to drive me batty.  The neckline was also off-centered.  
In spite of the flaws, I still felt lovely and it was a great and comfortable choice for the sit-down, stand up, and dancing all night wedding party.

After reading the reviews I was nervous about the arms being too tight - and a larger size wasn't available. But this dress fit over my 34DD's and wasn't uncomfortable. It was a comfortable dress - and I got a ton of complements.
