I rented this dress in the 8L and it barely touched the floor on me before heels - I'm 5'6". This dress would be great for more petite woman, but otherwise the length is a huge issue. The material and cut are very nice, just way too short.

For me the issue with this dress is the cut-outs seem a lot bigger in person. Maybe it has to do with the photo of model likely being a size 0-2 and me ordering an 8, but I did not feel comfortable in the dress for a wedding as the cutouts were quite large and more prominent in the front view of the dress than I had anticipated. Perhaps for thinner woman in small sizes, this dress will be more appropriate, but it just didn't work for me.

I was ultimately not able to wear this dress. I am a size 6-8 and ordered the M. While I was able to get this dress on, it looked and felt way too tight. I will try Herve again in the future, but will be ordering a large. I am a curvy girl, and I think these dresses are better suited for thinner women. Or maybe I just need the large.

I rented this dress to wear to work. It is very comfortable and flattering. The only issue is it is a little low cut for work. I ended up pinning it, and it still gaped a little at the top but was not overly sexy for work. I recommend this dress for work or a work related event.

This dress serves its purpose well. It was my back-up "safe" option in the event that my first choice, a much riskier dress, did not work out. Unfortunately my riskier option came damaged and I was unable to wear it despite it having fit well. So this faithful little number stepped in and saved the day. I have an hour glass figure and am quite curvy and this dress worked well with my body. I find this designer generally accommodates for curves well. I got a lot of compliments on the dress, felt confident and was very comfortable. I would highly recommend this dress.

I rented this dress for my bridal shower and it was a hit! The 44R was too tight on my chest, so I went with the 46R. The dress has a built in corset that gives the dress shape. The only drawback to the dress is that the liner wrinkles easily and bunches up, exposing spanks (if you're wearing them!). Otherwise I highly recommend this dress, especially if you won't be sitting a bunch!

I wore this dress to my father-in-law's 60th birthday. I was running super late from work and had to jump into this dress in a matter of minutes and rush out the door. I was super nervous it wasn't going to work out and I would have to find something else to wear. Much to my happiness, the dress fit and I was out the door! The dress is stretchy, but form filling and fit like a glove. The only issued I had was the straps were too long. This was easily remedied by joining the straps with a small hair barrette at the base of my neck which I covered with my hair. If I were to order again in the future, I would try out the 6. I highly recommend this dress. It is a beautiful color and very comfortable. I was able to wear a strapless bra with it by pulling the strap down low in the back.

I thought I would love this dress more than I did. First, I would have preferred the long, but it was not available. The dress came just to the top of my feet and I am 5'6". I prefer a dress to cover my feet with shoes on. And the materials is not as good of quality and I would have expected for this designer/price of this dress. There was also not a lot of structure to the dress. I am curvy and the back did not lay completely flat on my back and I had to adjust it rather frequently. But overall, the dress was comfortable, looked good and served its purpose.

Rented this dress for a wedding. I immediately fell in love w the color when I saw it online. It is a form fitting non-forgiving dress. However I am a curvy lady so keep that in mind. I almost thought I was not going to be able to wear this dress. I have an hour glass figure and this dress does not have much give. The fabric is thick and the dress is structured. This is beneficial in that it doesn't reveal any imperfections. But it must be the right fit to pull it off. I think this dress is better suited for thinner woman. I was able to wear it. This was a very cute, comfortable dress. I wore it to my sister's baby shower which I hosted. In retrospect, I should have ordered a small as well just to try it. I have small back, but big boobs and a huge butt. So I never really know what is going to fit. The medium was a little loose on my waist and I would have liked to have at least tried on the small.
