I rented this dress for the bat mitzvah of a close friend's daughter (my friend also rented her mom-of the-bat-mitzvah-girl dress from RTR!) so was looking for something that was not a "mom dress" - ie, not frumpy or boring - and this dress CLEARLY fit the bill. As for fit I think it runs a little large - I could have sized down and would have been less worried all night about whether or not my cleavage was escaping (it's a party for teenagers after all). I am definitely looking for reasons to rent this again - except that RTR makes it so hard because there are so many beautiful things to choose from all the time! Thanks RTR for another successful rental.

Gorgeous dress, even more gorgeous for its simplicity. I would call this TTS but on the small side - there was NO extra room in the bodice of this dress, though there's a teeny bit of give just because of the cross-open back. There is also NO give in the waist, which was a tad bit high for me. The next size up would definitely have been too big all over though. For a woman with a smaller ribcage than mine I'm sure it would be perfect. Regardless, this is all more than made up for by the skirt which is lovely, the perfect amount of floaty fullness, and has POCKETS. I got compliments all night, danced a LOT, and was sad to see this one go back.

Great dress - was perfect for the event and for the setting (beach wedding at a fancy hotel). The fit is a bit odd - very tight around the ribcage, but somehow extra fabric on the sides of the bodice. It was clear this dress had been worn a LOT - the bones in the bodice were starting to tear through the lining (I had to pad them with moleskin so I wouldn't get stabbed every time I moved - or breathed). As usual, RTR service is terrific. Sad to see this one go back.

Rented this gown for a garden-themed Emerald and Evergreen Gala - so it had to be green, natch. This was actually planned as the backup dress, but long story short, a mixup on the RTR end (previous renter late return) botched that plan. Luckily, this dress was fabulous. I think it runs TTS - it was a little big in the bodice for me and I ended up pinning about 1.5 inches of fabric on the side. The next smaller size wasn't available anyway so I don't know for sure but I think it would have been perfect. The draping is terrific; the fabric is a nice weight (not too thin) and, though you can't tell from the photos, the gown is fully lined and the lining is sewn to the hem of the dress, which is genius since that way it never bunches up or shifts on its own. I wore with a backless strapless stickon bra and highwaist Spanx - both totally necessary unless you have a convertible bra (and a perfect bod). The length was just right with my 1.75" heels. Compiments all night - as usual, sad to put it back in the mail. Thanks RTR!

I wore this dress to a bar mitzvah and the party that followed just after. It was a great choice because it is synagogue-appropriate, yet party fun! The dress itself is a lovely silk, very lightweight, and is cut loosely (so dance, and eat whatever you want!). I got compliments all day from fashionable women of all ages - 20s to 60s+ - and felt fantastic as one of the few people wearing a COLOR in a sea of black dresses. As usual, the RTR process was painless (except for when I had to part with the dress). I will definitely rent again. Thanks, RTR!

I rented this dress hoping to wear it for a synagogue function. Based on all the reviews I ordered an 8 (often wear an 8/10) and unfortunately the 6 was not available for the weekend I needed it. Well, this dress was lovely - heavy silk, fully lined, beautiful sleeve detail - and would have been perfect, EXCEPT that it was enormous and completely shapeless (though might have looked excessively boxy because it was too large). I am thinking that this might be better on a bustier girl (more to fill it out!)... Back it went. The RTR service was terrific - the return was completely uneventful, and the help I received both on the phone and online was great. I am looking forward to renting again; better luck next time!
