I liked this so much I bought it (from RTR and directly from the brand in another color). It's a dress that looks better on REAL people than it does in the brand's photos. I think it looks better the curvier you are when you can cinch up that belt to highlight your waist/curves. Strongly recommend!

I rented this for a Derby party, but couldn't wear it. I got my usual size (a 6), plus an 8 as the backup. The 8 was just too snug, with the exception of the bust area, which was too big. It's also a heavy dress so feeling snug and hot didn't appeal to me. In a twist of fate, my backup RTR dress I ordered in a 4, but it was TOO BIG, and I likely need a 0 or 00. The idea that a woman can need a 00 in one brand and a 10 in another (both American brands, not EU sizing) is comical but so representative of what it's like to be a woman looking for clothes. Sigh.

I am a solid size six in most brands, but I read the reviews that this one runs big and ordered a 4 instead. OMG -- it fit me like a size 14. No joke, I would likely need a 0 or 00 for a proper fit. I don't think most women will be able to choose the right size for this dress, and I would discourage you from choosing it unless you have a solid back-up option. The fabric and print are gorgeous, but the sizing is a disaster.

The material is a little thick so not a great option for a super hot day, but can really work in all other seasons. The neckline was flattering and the long sleeves make the dress super comfy. These are classic Lululemon quality and fit. My one nit about all of the very casual, sweatpant-type stuff I rent from RTR as part of my Unlimited subscription is that the dry cleaning process makes sweatpants feel...weird. When you own sweatpants they get comfier and cozier over time as you wash them. The sweatpants I rent, including these, always just feel stiff and it takes time for them to loosen up.

This dress is so adorable and the weight is perfect for fall in the South. I will say that the dress that I received had been seriously loved by previous renters (read: it was well worn). I'm normally a solid size 6 but it was really loose. I suspect it had just been worn a lot. It was the replacement I selected after my original pick (the Halston black halter) was unavailable because the previous renter damaged it. SO happy that RTR allows you to select any dress when that happens.

I agree with previous posters that this dress was shorter than it looks in the photo (and that's saying alot since I'm 5'2"). Also, I think the ruffle is a bit puffier than it appears in the photo and doesn't sit quite as nicely. Still, I thought it was super cute and fun, and was totally excited to wear it. UNTIL, I found some marks on the hemline of the dress. Honestly, it looked like the dress hadn't been dry cleaned before it was sent to me.
