A small may have fit better but I was fine with the M - usually worn belted. I received this dress with the tags on and kept it for a couple months. I wish I'd purchased it - and in fact ordered it again with the intention of doing so but the one I received the 2nd time around was in such bad shape I had to send it back. Oh well. 

I love the color and flow of this dress. I got it for vacation and it was perfect to wear for a casual dinner. I am usually a pretty solid medium and the small was fine on me, so I recommend sizing down. 

I wore this on vacation, and it was so comfortable! It's a great color and flattering fit, would recommend!

I love this dress! It is so well made and flattering! The bright yellow is perfect for spring and summer! I dressed it up with wedges and fun earrings, and then down with flats and a denim jacket! 

This dress was not what I expected. I thought it was going to be much more mustard but it was really really yellow. It was a great fit and I got a lot of compliments, just wasn't what I wanted!

Really liked this dress. It's a loose cut so it's great for being comfortable. Dress hit in the mid calf, and it works well with flats or heels. 

This dress was perfect for me at 24 weeks pregnant. Very very big, loose, and comfortable - I felt like I was in a chic nightgown all day. At first I was skeptical of the shape; felt like Big Bird. But ultimately loved it, and those who saw me in it loved it too. Only note is it's huge!! 

I wore this dress twice while on vacation and received so many compliments, literally stopped by strangers on the street or in stores. The color is beautiful and fit was great. I am very busty so it worked better for me to wear a belt to have some waist definition.  

I rented this for vacation but ended up wearing it to work before our trip and got a ton of compliments. It definitely runs large, so size down. The cut of the top is super flattering. A great dress for summer.

I had been searching for a casual yellow maxi that could transition from day to night while on vacation, and this Kate Spade was everything i had hoped for. This dress fit perfectly, and it wasnt too overwhelming on my 5'3" frame as some maxis are.  
The detailled design and true yellow makes this dress a stand out. 
I wore it on vacation in the humid floridian temps, and i was fine with it because i LOVE the heat, and im freezing below 80 degrees. However, because there is a thick linen liner (which i love and find so rare in dresses today), many might find this dress too heavy for summer wear depending on the climate. I love that it wasnt see-thru in the sun, and that it transitioned so well from day to night. For me, it was the perfect vacation dress and i want one in every color.

I sized down to an XS and it still didn't have any shape. Maybe a belt would have helped. Still very comfy and cute though. 

I normally wear a size 4 and I wore XS for this one. Loved the color of the dress. I am 5' 1" so i felt that the dress was a little too long for me as I wearing flats. Definitely consider wearing heels if you are the shorter side.

Easy to wear and carry, love the fit and a fun dress to wear! I paired it up with simple beige earrings and wore it for a dinner with my family. Yellow is the color of the season and this is definitely the dress you should wear! :)

The color is gorgeous and the quality is great as any other Kate Spade dress. However, this dress runs large and the fit is very boxy which makes the dress not flattering at all. If you style it correctly, the color of the dress makes it a statement piece but not to show off your figure. Also, this dress will not photograph well because of the fit. In conclusion if you are looking for a dress to wear on a day to day basis that will not show off your body but you want a pop of color in your life, this is the dress. 

The color, quality and detailing on this dress are amazing. Anytime I wear this brand I know I'm getting a quality made dress. The material is heavy like others said in their reviews so it may not be the best choice for a hot day on the beach but would be perfect for a cooler summer night. I wore it for a casual summer day at work and shopping. Received so many compliments on the color!!

I loved this dress - the color and fabric are gorgeous. It definitely runs large - I was worried the arms would be tight since there's no stretch, but I should have sized down. Even though it was too big, the dress maintained structure while maintaining maximum flowiness.

Rented for Mother's Day fun. I'm a few weeks postpartum and it was perfect. glided over my new shape without making me seem lager than I am. Extremely well made. Color is radiant in person. 

It's a gorgeous dress, but the shapelessness of it was not ideal for my height/weight. I think if petit women it would look great!

I rented this specifically for a holiday in Thailand.   It was fun to wear and a head turner. It seems like a simple dress but it is well structured and actually very stylish and "finished" looking in person.   It runs very large and I do wish it had pockets. A dress this voluminous has room for the pockets to have pockets!  But I loved wearing it and was sad to take it off.
