Eye catching!
This is a GREAT dress - really elegant and the fabric is beautiful. A heavier "brocade" kind of feel but still very comfortable. The fabric isn't too forgiving but hangs really well. I usually size up but the 10 fit perfectly. The style is unique, and I got a lot of compliments. Love this and would get it again.

Love this dress!
I didn't end up wearing this (wore the other RTR dress I got) but LOVE this and will definitely get it again. Simple and elegant, the fit is terrific. Really looks sleek and sharp, and also hangs nicely (forgiving fabric). Red usually doesn't look good on me (blonde and pale) but this really did, just a great color. Fit was true to size (I usually size up but didn't have to).

I didn't end up wearing this, only because the other RTR dress I got was even better, but this is a terrific dress and I will definitely get it for my next event. The color is really lovely, bright and warm, and the fit was perfect. I usually size up but didn't need to with this. Love it.

Lovely color, pretty dress
I didn’t end up wearing this only because the other dress I wore was an even better fit. This is a great dress and I loved the material - smooth cool and has enough substance to hang really nicely. I wasn’t so sure about the sleeves - that isn’t my style usually, but it looked great and would have been a smash at my event. I will try this again another time.

This dress fit beautifully and looked fantastic - I'd wear it again in a minute. Very distinctive - lots of compliments. I also got a 12, assuming I'd need to size up, but I didn't - the 10 was perfect. I didn't see a lot of difference between those two sizes actually - mostly in the bust. Since I have small breasts, the 10 worked better. Great choice!

Beautiful dress!
I initially got this as my back up dress, but liked it so much I wore it. It's lovely, elegant, and striking. The pink color is softer than the website photo, which I actually liked even better, it's more subtle. There were some wrinkles when I unpacked it, but they came right out with my steamer, and the dress stayed fresh looking over the course of the evening. Very comfortable, and the lace top is really pretty. One thing: the silk is a little on the thin side, so I wore sheer nude stockings under it - I don't think you could wear a darker shade, or a darker control top or spanx. Lighter nude or ivory underneath is a must. The silk isn't insubstantial - it's really lovely - just a very fine and beautiful fabric. The fit was great - I'm a true 10 and it was perfect. There isn't a lot of give, so if I was a little hippier I'd go for the 12. Very unique and I got lots of compliments! A super elegant dress that was perfect for the afternoon wedding we went to.

Elegant, understated, great dress
I'm usually a 12 in Nicole Miller dresses - they always run small (I'm a true 10 nearly every time). In this instance though with this dress, the 10 was perfect and the 12 was a little too roomy, so I wore the 10. The colors are more understated than in the photo - it's more muted and subtle, but really lovely and elegant. Also very comfortable. If you're looking to make a splash, pick something else, but for formal and a little more conservative, yet still with flair, this is a terrific dress.

Lovely dress, just not for me. I've wanted to try this dress for a while and finally did. I'm usually a true 10, but every time RTR says size up , the 12 always fits. There wasn't a 12 available, and I think that would have been perfect. The 10 was just a little too snug, so I wore by back up dress. This is a beautiful and eye catching dress.

This is a lovely dress but wasn't quite right for me. I got is as my back up dress to try for another event. It's eye catching and I can see why others loved it. It fit me perfectly and is very flattering. But the color didn't seem to compliment me. Bummer because I loved the color of the dress!

Eye catching dress
Another great RTR dress! I was concerned that this dress was not going to be comfortable because it's listed as not having any stretch or give. But it is a very comfortable dress - form fitting but nicely so. And it's really beautiful! Got lots of compliments. I love dresses that are different and eye catching - this is one of those dresses. One note for larger busted women: I'm small (34A) and I'd say this dress is better for women with smaller busts. I think one other review referenced that too. I don't think there is a lot of room at the top or give for bigger busts. Maybe ask one of the stylists if you're larger chested and looking at this dress.

Lovely dress
I got this as a back up, to see if I'd like it, and it's a great dress that I'd definitely rent for another event down the road. I got a 10 and 12, as some designer dresses seem to run small - this is true to size and the 10 fit perfectly. It's a more understated dress, a little more on the conservative side, but would be perfect for any number of parties or weddings. It fit's beautifully, was flattering and forgiving, and very comfortable.

Lovely dress
I got this as my back up dress, didn't end up wearing it but wish I'd had another event to wear it to! Easy comfortable fit, flattering too. Eye catching - it looks even better in person, great colors and vibrant pattern. I think it runs small - I'm usually a true M and the M was really tight and looked too small and bulgy. The L fit like I thought the M would. This dress is a little less formal in my opinion - it would have been fine for the party I went to, but I'd say it's not quite for the "formal affair" type events.

Terrific dress!
This dress is fantastic all around. Eye catching, different, fits beautifully and is forgiving (supports a little and doesn't accentuate bulges), and is wonderfully comfortable. Lots of compliments too. Loved it and will rent again! I love the thicker material - it isn't bulky but feels great and supportive.

Great dress
This was my back up dress and I didn't end up wearing it, but I will rent again now that I know it's beautiful, fits perfectly and will be great for an upcoming party. The fit is flattering and forgiving - the high waist and resulting drape didn't necessitate spanx. It's eye catching and would have been terrific at the party I went to. Next time.

Fantastic dress!
There seem to be mixed reviews on this dress - if you don't like the fitted neoprene type, don't get it. But if you do like it, similar to the Herve Leger dresses, it hugs you and supports beautifully, is incredibly confortable, its like a huge spanx so you need nothing under it. And it's gorgeous and different. I loved it and got tons of compliments. I did find that it rode up a little, but it was easy to subtlely ease it back down - and we were dancing a lot so it was understandable. The colors are terrific too - photos don't do it justice. A real winner.

A knockout!
This dress is gorgeous and sexy. I got the 8, which is my regular size, and it fit absolutely perfectly, like a glove. It shows off all the right curves (booty especially) and the one shoulder is so elegant. The lace and the bright blue color are incredible too. i actually did not end up wearing this (I ordered it for prom) but I will definitely rent it again to wear to something else!!

Classy, sophisticated, beautiful
Beautiful dress! I did not end up wearing it for my senior prom however; it felt almost too formal for the occasion. The fabric was beautiful–heavier/thicker than I expected but it did not detract from the dress. I ordered the 10R but it was too big; this dress is very true to size. I would definitely rent again for a more formal occasion!

Not what I expected
I found this dress while scrolling on RTR and I fell in love with it. I was sure for months that this was THE dress I would wear to my senior prom. However when it arrived it was much different from what I expected and I didn't end up wearing it for prom. First of all, there were many layers of silk which made the dress heavy and hot. It also was loose around the bust and the fabric stuck out awkwardly there, which could have probably been fixed by fashion tape. It is definitely a beautiful dress in pictures, but I would not recommend it for an occasion with dancing. It is most likely necessary to wear a stick bra or petals, as the fabric around the bust is not supportive on its own.

Lovely dress
This dress is absolutely beautiful, there's no doubt about that. I didn't end up wearing it to my event because it was too big, but it would have been great in the right size. Nicole Miller dresses often run small so I got a 12, but it was much too big. I would suggest going only one size up for this dress. Other than that, though, it was much heavier and thicker than I expected. The bottom of the dress has several layers of silk in order to make that elegant train, so it would be very hot and cumbersome for dancing. However it is a stunning dress!

Gorgeous, elegant dress! Loved it!!
I wore this for my senior prom and it was stunning. It was very comfortable and runs pretty true to size. I wore the 10 but I could probably have worn the 8 as well, as the 10 was a bit long and the straps were a bit loose on me. I got tons of compliments (similar to other reviewers) that I looked like a Greek goddess. This dress was so beautiful and elegant; I can't recommend it highly enough!!

I ended up not wearing this because the "experimental" 2nd Leger dress I got was so great and a little dressier so I wore it instead. BUT I will definitely rent this again as it is just fantastic. It fits perfectly and is forgiving and flattering - the elastic holds you better than spanx (and it fits so snugly that I don't think you could wear spanx under it anyway - hard to avoid the lines). I got a Large also, just to compare to the Medium, and it fit equally well, just a shade less snug. I have muscular arms, and the Medium was a little snugger in the arms than I'd like, but not enough that I would need the Large - could go either way. The colors are really lovely, better and brighter than in the photo.

Terrific dress!
I wore this to a New Years Eve party and it was just amazing. I have never worn a one shoulder dress before, never liked them, so this was an experiment - A+++. Because the shoulder band is wide, it feels completely comfortable and fits like a glove (as all the Leger dresses do). I got many compliments and it stood out beautifully in the crowd.

Eye Catching dress!
This was actually my second choice dress as I'd never tried it before (my first choice Herve Leger size was wrong) so I wore this and it was fantastic!! The color is gorgeous, and so is the material - luxurious looking - so much better than the photo. The 10 was a little snug over my hips but it is plenty stretchy and very comfortable. Spanx are helpful as it's form fitting thru the tummy area. (The 12 was too big around the bust as I am small chested - otherwise the 12 could have worked ok too) I got so many compliments, and it totally stood out from all the other dresses there - a win all around.

A little disappointing...
I love all the Herve Leger dresses - but this is the first one that didn't quite fit right. This is a gorgeous dress and will be perfect on the right size body. I am an hour glass athletic body, with more full hips and thighs. In all the other Herve dresses that's a benefit and they make me look great and sexy. This one, however, it tighter through the thighs than any other I've rented (at least 5 others). So tight that it wasn't comfortable and I couldn't take a normal walking step, much less dance or feel at ease at my party. BUT if you are more of the tall thin type, with more slender thighs (and are going perhaps to a more sedate party) you will LOVE this dress. It is a 5 STAR dress on the right person - it just didn't quite fit me.

Another great Nicole Miller dress!
This is a great dress - comfortable and beautiful. I got lots of compliments! It's different and stands out in the sea of typical black dresses. I got it as my second dress, just to see if I would like it for next time, but liked it so much I wore it to my black tie event. Size NOTE: I am a true medium but every Nicole Miller dress I have rented runs small, and the Large fits like everyone else's medium. So I don't even order her medium any more, I just get the large. Perfect for New Year's Eve or any special party
This dress was a real surprise. I ordered it as my second dress, more as an experiment to test out something out of my normal sphere of dresses - I didn't expect to wear it. BUT when I put it on, I loved everything about it! It is elegant and glamorous and was the perfect New Year's Eve dress - I got many compliments. A few notes: the dress I had was mostly black with hints of gold shimmer. It was NOT like the photos on the website that have quite a bit of gold in them - I was initially bothered by that as I had really liked the equal blend of gold and black in the photos. But the dress was fantastic as it was. Maybe all these dresses have different swaths of this fabric as other reviews specifically mention (and you can see) the gold - this dress didn't have much, so don't necessarily expect it. Also, it is a heavier, thicker material because of the lining - it is fairly warm. So it was terrific for a chilly winter night and a cool ballroom. But, if you're renting in warmer weather, or a warmer indoor setting (insofar as you can predict that), or you're a wild dancer, you might get too warm. I was very comfortable, but if I had done more active dancing, I might have gotten too warm. Lastly, I ordered the 12 only because it was all that was available at the time. I am normally a true 10. So this 12 was definitely a little big - I think the 10 would have fit more accurately, and been a little more of a form fitting and sexy fit. But the 12 hung so nicely, and it was such a great dress, I wore it anyway!

Very elegant dress
I got this and a Nicole Miller to wear to a NYC wedding and loved this dress. I got a 10 and 12, and the 10 was perfect, very true to size. I got the 12 in case because of the previous comments about the sleeves being tight. I have larger more muscled arms and that is sometimes an issue for me with dresses. The sleeves on the 10 were snug but in an ok "just right" kind of way. The 12 actually fit fine too and was just a little roomy, but I could have worn it. The 10 was more form fitting in a very nice way. Great for an elegant formal affair!

Great choice dress
I rented this for a NYC 5pm wedding and it was a perfect choice, elegant, simple and flattering. Also very comfortable (to/from on train - I was going to change but didn't need to). I find that all the Nicole Miller dresses run small - I am usually a medium in most dresses and I've always found her larges fit like mediums.

Very attractive dress.
This was the second dress I ordered - I ended up not wearing it but I would rent it again as a #1. It goes in my B+/A- group as a lovely dress. Fits well - it was a little large around the top, but not noticeably so - I could feel it but my friends couldn't see it. I have never rented an asymmetrical dress before so maybe they're all like that. It could be because I am small breasted, but I have wide shoulders which usually balances that out. Fit well and flattering everywhere else. Color note: it is a shade darker than the photo, which makes it look quite golden; it is not - it is a darker more muted gold, but still very pretty.

Another great Herve Leger dress
This is a slightly different dress from the other Leger dresses I have rented - I love them all and they fit well and are flattering. This is a great dress in all those respects too. It is slightly less formal that I thought, but still different enough that it's striking and I got many compliments. I am small breasted so used the NuBra stick ons which worked perfectly to give a little extra shape and fill out the dress.

I didn't end up wearing this but definitely will rent it the next time I have an event (wore a Herve Leger that just seemed to fit the occasion better). Like all Nicole Millers apparently, it runs quite small, but one of the consultants had told me to order a size up, and the large fit like most mediums. The color is stunning and the lace is delicate and eye catching. I am small busted and needed a nicely enhanced bra to fill it out but other than that it fit perfectly and looked great. The fit is snug and clingy but there's enough give that you can sit and move and dance with relative ease. I'm sure it will get great compliments next time!

I love this dress - I got it for a black tie event that I wanted something different for, and this is definitely it - it was the only green dress there is a sea of ordinary black dresses. It isn't typically "formal" per se but with nice jewelry it was perfect. Note: the color is a deeper green that it shows in the photo. I wasn't sure about it at first, but it grew on me. I got lots of compliments. It is form fitting without being overly snug - very comfortable which is really important to me. This is a dress to have fun in!

Perfect party dress
This is a great dress! I am usually a 10 but one of the RTR consultants said to order up and she was exactly right. The 12 fitted perfectly, just like most 10s do on me. It is very comfortable (really important to me) and also different and eye catching - there weren't any dresses like it at my 350+ attendee event. It is form fitting but moves and stretches, easy to sit and dance in. I loved it.

This is the 2rd Herve Leger dress I have worn and I loved it in every respect. It is snug and form fitting but in a very comfortable way (but if you don't like a clingy fit you won't like it) - very supportive yet forgiving for places you might feel a little large (hips) or small (bust) in my case. Spanx are essential I think. This is a unique dress and gets many compliments - it will make you feel good! I have a small bust and with a good plunge bra it fit perfectly, and probably would have been fine with no bra at all. I would rent this again any time!
