This dress is a gorgeous color and does wonders for hourglass figures. I was pretty self conscious due to a small weight gain after knee surgery, but it hugged me nicely and didn't accentuate any flab. I *literally* never thought I could fit my body into a Herve dress...so glad I tried. 

Only con, a little tight on the arms. 

This dress is so much better on than in the stock photo in my opinion. the neck is more like a boat neck, so wear a strapless bra. I loved the length - rare in a Herve and the ombre effect really makes your waist look itty bitty! I felt so sexy and classy in this dress. perfect for a fancy date or a wedding guest!

I wore Spanx and a strapless bra with it and it was perfect. It's already a tight dress so your waist and butt will look great :)

I would recommend ordering a size up or getting a backup size that is a larger fit than what you normally wear. Really gorgeous dress! I had a blast and looked fire in the process!!;) Recommend!! *i dont normally wear dresses that fit this tight so i was kind of nervous about being uncomfortable in it, but it wasn't that uncomfortable and its a flattering design.  

The thick material is very forgiving and doesn't ride up like some other bodycon dresses. The only con to this dress is the zipper, you definitely will need help getting into it and zipping the top. Other than that, this dress is one of my favorites I have ever worn and I will definitely order a Herve Leger dress again!

I wore this to my husband's 20 year class reunion.  I dressed it down with some wedges and a casual bracelet.  It is super comfortable and the dress makes you feel and look fabulous.  I would highly recommend this dress for any event.  I received compliments all night.

My first RTR dress knocked it out of the park!  The construction & design of this dress gives you a fabulous silhouette - I have never gotten so many compliments on a dress before. I am a bit short at 5'1" so I did have to (temporarily) hem the dress 5", but you couldn't tell at all!  Would 100% rent again, was very sad to have to return it!  If you are are looking for something classic yet sexy, and looking to turn some heads, I would definitely recommend this dress.

This dress hugs all of the curves. The multiple blue bands were eye catching, but not over the top. The dress was comfortable to wear whether I was sitting down or moving around the room. I normally wear a size 2 or 4. So the small was perfect. True to size

Definitely fit snug- as it is made to.  Small was perfect for me.  If I could I would've bought this dress.  Definitely my favorite dress I've ever worn.  Would recommend again And again !!!! 

It sucks and sculpts you all the right places. The beautiful blue ombré colors also add an optical illusion of curves .  

I wore this dress to my sister's graduation party. Since it is such a tight fitting dress I needed my boyfriend to help me zip the back up. I received compliments during the party about the dress and felt like a star in it the whole night. The off the shoulder part of the dress makes it sexy and the ombré effect is beautiful. 

Everything about this dress is perfect. The color, the fit, the length, the quality. I was told my original size M order was unavailable and forgot all about the size S I had for a backup. When it arrived, I tried it on immediately and was so happy it fit like a glove! The fabric is heavy and can get hot if you're dancing all night and in my case carrying your 2 kids around. Other than that everything was flawless. I am so so happy with this rental that I can not wait to rent again!

The dress is tight and heavy, but still rather comfortable. I was worried because I couldn't order a medium, but I don't think I would have liked the longer length of a larger size, anyway. I found a small hole in the front of the dress, but it was very difficult to see it when the dress was on. Wore it with spanx and a strapless bra. It required occasional pulling down and twisting around to keep the bands and zipper straight. I received plenty of compliments and was sad to have to return this dress! I will not hesitate to rent a Herve again!

Extremely fitted. If you have poor posture this is probably not the dress for you. If you can stand up straight and suck it in for a few hours, the compliments will flow! Very unique coloring and will stand out because of the vibrant blue colors. Made me look like I had a perfect figure. You can wear this with a strapless bra or no bra. Fabric is heavy so if you are going to an event in the peak of summer, you might sweat. I was in an air conditioned venue and danced with no issues. The length lends it a bit of class with how tight it is. The sleeves were not loose like on the model, but so tight that I worried my arms would look fat. Gorgeous dress and I felt like a model. Will definitely rent again. Turn heads and love it!,

The dress fit fantastically and my fiancé said it was his favorite dress yet. It was true to size and the fabric was shaping yet comfortable. Customer service during the rental process was amazing as always. 

This dress was fantastic.  I'm tall, so it's hard to find dresses that are long enough, but the length of this dress was perfect - a few inches above the knee.  It was VERY tight, but the fabric is thick enough to still be flattering.  I wish I could own this dress!

This dress is very tight fitting, but it gives a great shape & the clots are place perfectly! I felt wonderful in it and loved wearing it. The one con is that I was hot in it most of the night, but that could have been because I was carrying my 1 year old around all evening plus it was humid....the fabric is pretty heavy though. 

This dress was perfect for a summer wedding. I was able to wear a strapless bra and didn't have to readjust all night due to the fit. Only this was it had a noticeable pull/stripe going right down the middle. It was obvious someone tried a little to hard to fit in this dress. I tried getting a replacement but it wasn't available and the other dresses I rented didn't work. Im glad I wore it because I got compliments all night. 

Tight for me the extra small size actually sucked everything in. Wore it to a summer wedding in Arizona. Was so much fun to put on

Wore spanx to smooth everything underneath. It was tight but did not ride up and was sexy and sophisticated 

This dress's color is fantastic but I wasn't a fan of how much it rippled on the top and bottom, it looked too tight :/ Not sure why the bandages on the model didn't look the same but I'd definitely consider renting the dress again in a size Medium 

Fit well, however, arrived with a stain on the front that could only be seen after putting dress on. Spent all night holding my clutch in front of it cause I didn't have another dress.  

Amazing dress.  Fit like a glove, literally - spanx was required to smooth things out a bit.  Some women may not need to wear a bra with this dress, but I did in order to make sure I didn't looked squashed. Color is beautiful and interesting, the ombre is very flattering because it gets darker towards your waist, making it look tiny.  My only mild complaint is that the dress is a little heavy and does chafe a bit on the shoulder after a couple of hours, but not a big deal at all.  Rent this dress - you won't regret it.  

I'm a size 6 or 8 usually and the medium fit perfectly. Extremely comfortable and flattering. Got a ton of compliments!  

It runs true to size or a big big? I usually almost always wear a 4 but sometimes can wear a 2 as I am not busty and kind of tall. The medium was big on me. The small fit perfect... Perhaps an XS would of fit too but maybe a bit too tight. It was a day time horse racing event and it was dressy and classy enough with a little sex appeal! Got complimented all day! Can't beat the price! 

I've worn one other Herve dress before and, granted I weighed a little less then, but I felt like that one shaped a little better. Maybe I was just being critical of myself, but I felt a little lumpy in this without Spanx! Luckily they smoothed everything out. I got a lot of compliments on the dress and, although I planned to wear something that covered a little more, I'm glad I took the plunge and went with this one.

Being a little heavier than I'd like to be right now, it was a refreshing to feel sexy and fun! This dress is AWESOME and perfect for nautical themed weddings!

I was tossing up whether to order the small or medium but ended up ordering the medium - it fit perfectly. I thought it was very comfortable and flattering around the waist. I loved that this dress stood out amongst the sea of black dresses/suits. I also was happy with the length. I am 5'9 so often find dress lengths too short!

Gotta love a Herve! This dress hugged every curve perfectly AND comfortably. I could breathe, eat and dance all while looking sexy yet classy. The length was a touch long for a petite girl, but it really didn't bother me. Such a fun dress to wear and I loved being told I looked like a Bond girl all night long!

The dress was AMAZING. I ordered a Small and for some reason ordered the XS as my backup size, which I was sure wouldn't fit. The small fit great, but by some miracle the XS zipped and sucked everything in to where I looked like I had a much better bod than without the dress! It was skin-tight, and granted, I sucked in the whole night, but I felt amazing in it and got tons of compliments. The dress is really heavy, so that was nice because it was constructed well! It never felt like it was going to bust- which I was expecting. I loved it, i look better with that dress on than I do naked.

Incredible dress. It fit true to size and I didn't even bother wearing the medium (for reference my measurements are 36-27-38 and I usually wear a 6). If you have curves, this dress will highlight them-- if you don't have curves, this dress will give you them. It seems to only do you favors and you'll have to thank the smart shading and coloring of this dress for that. Like most reviewers, after the zipper is up it's quite comfortable and its tight bandage style is forgiving to anyone who might be concerned about tummy. Is just a little difficult to walk in, but that's to be expected considering the type of fabric. Speaking of, that is the only reason for my docking one star: the fabric is quite heavy (which is probably why it's so forgiving and complimentary to many figures), and it gets really hot if you plan on doing any dancing. Even in cold weather, you could sweat straight through this if you're jumping around too much. Other than that, beautiful!

I've never received more compliments on a dress in my life. Great fit - I could have worn the small or medium, but the medium gaped slightly in the back, so I opted for the small. Definitely needs a strapless bra. Very comfortable, not restricting.

Small was way too tight but medium was perfect! No need to wear a bra, Loved the look & colors, felt great in it especially since I've been eyeing this one for a while! Always wanted to wear an Herve!

The color on this dress is stunning.  The silhouette is simple enough to accommodate the  interesting pattern, and the darker shades in the center of the dress help accentuate the waistline.  Like most Herves, it is super form fitting, but does loosen up somewhat as you wear it.  I was able to get into the small, however with the length being slightly above the knee, it was too tight to walk in (without looking like a Barbie), so I went with the medium.  Definitely no need for spanx, however I did wear a strapless bra as the neckline is rather open.
