Runs small!
This is a beautiful material and great structure, but runs small, so size up! It was way too tight for me to wear it. Also, its a silky sweater material, i thought it was more structured, it has great sheen and stretch, just size up.

I loved this blazer, I wore it to work with black trousers, then with cigarette pants and booties for date night... the lace gives it a sexy vibe, while the structure makes it work appropriate, so you can dress it for multiple occasions depending on what you pair it with.

made my waist look itty bitty!!
The quality of the dress is superb, and the faux wrap at your natural waist really emphasizes if you have a small waist (perfect for my hourglass figure!). I am a 32D, and it was a little big on the top, but fit perfectly on the bottom, so I still wore it and still got a million compliments. The slit in the front opens up quite a bit when you sit, so I wore a black slip under to avoid any embarrassing situations. Also, the dress is the most beautifully rich shade of blue, closer to a peacock blue than a navy.

So simple and so versatile!
Loved this dress! Wore it for shabbat with booties then to work with knee high flat boots. It was great for both! It runs true to size, but an 8 wasnt available, so i got the 10, belted it and it still looked great! I would probably suggest belting it either way to accentuate your waist.

Love Derek Lam, did NOT love this!
I usually get such great things from Derek Lam, but this dress was not what i expected! The pictures dont really due it justice, the dress if very blue, and very clearly bkue denim, so it might be goid for daytime looks, but wanted to wear it to work (a dark denim would have worked, but this is very blue). The slit on the front is also down to my waist so i would have had to safety pin or fashion tape in a million places and did not want to have to deal with that.

AMAZING VEST - LOOOOOVED IT!
I wore this vest 3 times in a week and a half (luckily no overlapping people at the events I was going to)... I absolutely loved it! Paired it with a black bodycon and booties for a little dressed up but still cool look for a family affair, with jeans and vans for a day time look, then jeans and booties for a date. Got so many compliments at each event. Because of the belt, it definitely looks better zipped and belted, not open. And, it runs big, so size down.

Super high quality, sophisticated with a bit of edge
Loved this blazer because the bodice is very nice quality, but then you get a bit of edginess with the leather arms. The arms do run a bit tight (I have pretty muscular arms, so if you too, size up), so I ended up not wearing it in the end, but I may rent it in a different size in the future.

Most versatile skirt ever!
Paired it with a crisp white button down for work, a blouse for a date and a sweater for synagogue. Loved this skirt, but since I wore it so many times I totally forgot to snap a pic before returning it! There is no zipper, just a stretch waist, so if you have bigger hips, you might have to pull it on over your head, but it should still fit nicely.

This runs very large/loose
Rented this to wear with jeans for brunch, but it's so loose that even sizing down it was still too big and just wasn't flattering. So I ended up not wearing it. I think it would be really flattering on large chested women, or women with an apple figure, but I have an hourglass figure and it just wasn't hitting me at the right spots.

Such beautiful lace!
This is a beautifully elegant dress! I would a slip under it bc I am a little more modest than the dress intends. It can totally be dressed up or down, but either way you'll feel classy and ladylike. It fits pretty true to size, but if you're on the edge, size up. I'm a little hippy, so even though I'm usually an 8, I got a 10, and it fit very well.

Love me some Derek Lam... especially soft comfy DL :)
Very nice, soft and warm. It's pretty long, and would look super cute with leggings. I wore it with a pencil skirt and leather jacket to work. The only thing is, it sheds on black, so bring a lint brush with you!

I had a party at my synagogue, so the cut out didn't really work, but I loved the print and how it fit everywhere else, so I put a few safety pins on the inside, wore a slip, belted it, and we were off to the races! The fit is great, the fabric has a decent amount of stretch, and it is so comfortable!

The coloring of this skirt is so gorgeous! Wore this for a holiday dinner party, synagogue and to work and got so many compliments at all! Just change up the top, heels and accessories and it's like a whole new outfit! This skirt does run a bit small, so size up one.

I totally forgot to take a picture, but needless to say, I absolutely love DVF and everything she does! This jacket runs a little small, I'm usually an 8, but wore a 10. It's cropped, and it looked weird with pants, so paired with a high wasted skirt with heels was perfect for an all day of meetings.

I rented this for Rosh Hashana dinner and services, so I had to wear a shell underneath, but I still got a million compliments all night! The asymmetric details on the top and collar set this apart from any other LBD. The cinched waist, and fit and flare style was so flattering and flirty. I will definitely rent this again! Also, for those wondering, at 5'5" the dress hit me just below my knees.

Fits like a glove, but LONG!
This dress is beautiful quality, but for my 5'5" stature, it was waaaaaayyy to long! It came just above my ankle, so it didn't work for the event I had in mind, and the length hit me at an odd place on my legs and ended up making me look stumpy. With that being said, the bodice fit me like a glove and from the hips up was so flattering! It was such a shame the length was so unflattering on me, but good thing I have Unlimited RTR, so I had a second dress to wear.

Excellent top for casual summer Fridays at work!
Paired with black skinny jeans and flats, it was perfect for my casual Fridays at work! It is really flowy, so I could have probably sized down to a small, but if you have a large chest, stay with your usual size, bc there isn't so much extra room in the bust. The layering and material is a nice touch that dresses it up a bit from your typical blouse.

Nice pants but waaaayyyyy too long!!
These pants were really nice, fit well, have a little stretch, and have a nice high waist. But even with them pulled up to my natural waist, and with my highest heels on, they were still a good two inches too long!! Great pants for anyone 5'7" and up, but I'm 5'5" and I ended up not even wearing them bc they would have dragged, ruining the pant.

Perfect for work to drinks!
I rented this for work when I had HH scheduled right after, and it was perfect! Wore flats to work then slipped on some edgy wedges for drinks. This runs a little large, so I sized down to the 42, and I'm glad I did, it was perfect! The long fluttered side elongates your torso and is super flattering. It is a little tight around the armpits, so just FYI if you have a little bit bigger arms.

This shirt is very short!
This top runs a little small, whereas I find most Derek Lam runs a little big and I have to size down. It's also very short, it only came to about my natural waist, so I wasn't able to actually wear it as intended. It would probably work it you plan to tuck it into a high waisted skirt or pant.

Very pretty, but has sequins!
This top is really pretty, but I didn't realize it has sequins, so I couldn't really wear it for the date I rented it for, but instead wore it for a dinner party that was a little dressier. It runs true to size, but I am 5'5" and it hit right after my skirt, so if you have a long torso, it may be too short.

So comfortable and so cute!
First off, you feel like you're wearing sweats, this is the most comfortable dress ever!! I paired with wedges, leather jacket for the evening when it gets cooler and then I'm off! So perfect! This could also work as a work outfit with a cute blazer instead of leather. The dress is a little thicker of a knit than I expected, so can definitely wear as the weather gets colder too.

I wore this skirt for a dinner party, paired it with a pink top, chunky statement necklace and leather jacket. The other reviews of this skirt about the pleats being revealing and not hiding problem areas is sort of true. The fabric will show some, but I have an hourglass figure and it was super flattering!! The fabric is shiny, metallic and luxurious. I am 5'5" and it hit be at the lower calf, I paired it with heels to off set the length. LOVE this skirt, DVF FTW!!

I had two events back to back - an outdoor upscale bbq and an engagement party. It was so perfect for both! I loved this dress! I wore it for a wedding and it was so elegant. I ended up not wearing this dress, and rented a different one because it was way too long! I rented another dress and I had to get the long to wear even a little heal, so I thought I would be fine with this one, but even with my 4 inch heels, it was still way too long. It was such a beautiful dress, but unless you're taller than 5'8", get the R length.

This dress runs small, if something is fitted across the hips, I wear a 8/10, and this dress was a bit too small. Also, the back is much more open that it appeared on the model. If you have curves, I would size up one size. But, it was very pretty and high quality, so I'd still give it a high rating, just keep my review in mind when choosing your size.
