This was the perfect dress for a summer, black tie optional wedding. The fabric has just the right amount of stretch, so it is very flattering. The simple design and color make it the perfect compliment to statement jewelry. 

The quality of this dress is thick and premium. It really sucks you in but is still super comfortable and easy to dance in. It was my first time wearing a midi style and while I am 5'9" it was  a little longer on me than in the model picture. 

I loved this dress. You could dress it up or down... I wore it to a wedding and got lots of compliments! I also felt it was very flattering. 

Amazing Elizabeth and james dress! This navy dress is timeless with the cut and length. It transitions well from the office to a formal affair. The silver zipper in the back is long and pretty exposed - that would potentially be the only thing I'd change about it.

I could wear this dress everyday. Fitted through the body just enough to feel feminine, but the longer hem and conservative shape makes it appropriate for work or conservative social event. Fit like a glove and feels amazing on. I could pair with a leather jacket and casual slides to be a bit more youthful or a long overcoat and statement earrings and heels to dress it up. 

Fit is perfect - comfortable with stretch. Would rent again!

I am fairly straight and narrow but this dress gave the appearance of curves. It fit snuggly across my bust (30C) and hips - which I don't really have. The fabric is heavy and textured. 

Something about this seaming bunched in very odd places on my body. I might try ordering a 10 but am afraid it will be too loose overall. Love the stretch fabric and A-line skirt though! 

Loved simplicity and movement of this dress. Added a shrug for a wintertime party and felt stylish without being overdressed. I followed advice from other reviews and sized up to 10 which was just right for me, usually an 8. Other reviews also correct that fabric shows every seam crease or bulge underneath, but I got away with regular seamless underwear & slip, did not hv to resort to heavy duty shapewear. If not wearing the sweater I wd hv needed to have special bra to hide straps. But neckline lovely too - wd rent again.

Gorgeous color and fabric had a bit of stretch. It was a little too tight in the hips and butt and since there's only one JLo  should've gotten a 6. Loved the length. Paired it with a blazer for work. 

Fantastic fabric and cool stitch detailing you can better appreciate in person. The dress fits true to size, but I found it very form-fitting and curve-hugging. Wouldn't work for me for work, but ok for the weekend. 

Fit very well and extremely comfortable. Classsy look and flattering silhouette. Very happy with this rental. 

Overall close fit.  Easy to dress up or down - I wore it for a late morning professional event.  Worn with black sandals, but for evening or formal event it would have been easy to dress up.

I wore this dress to a weekday gala for my husband's work. The color and length were perfect since people were coming straight from work, but the length and fit gave it a bit more formality than the outfits I normally wear to the office. He still talks about how much he liked it on me from time to time and was begging me to keep it after the event (sadly, I wasn't an Unlimited member at the time or I would have, since my clothes rarely elicit such a strong reaction from him, lol). Anyway, huge hit, would recommend.

The fit on this dress was spectacular! Be warned though: It does run about one size small. So, do order up! I read the previous reviews, so I knew to do that and the dress fit beautifully. I loved the muted navy color and the fit and flare nature of the dress. It does have some stretch (very little), so it smoothes out any lumps with ease. You could absolutely tell that this garment is high-quality from the thickness and suppleness of the fabric and the stitching. I also liked the silver exposed zipper in the back. It gave an otherwise simple dress just the right amount of edge. I wore a racerback bra with this and that worked out well. I think a standard bra would end up with the straps showing, so I'd go with a racerback, strapless, or even a nubra. I'm six feet tall, so the dress was a few inches past my knees. It might be a little too long for someone of average height. Overall though, it's a great piece. I highly recommend this dress!

A little too narrow in the hips for me,  I could probably wear some foundation wear to smooth it out. 

Could be worn to work or on a night out, depending on how you dressed it up/down. It was very comfortable and the material excellent quality. Would recommend. I wish I could have bought it!

This dress is easy to dress up or down; runs a little small so glad I sized up. Had a hard time returning it, because I liked it so much and finally just decided that meant I needed to buy it!! 

Firs great. you can wear it to work and diner afterwards. I got lots of compliments.

I'm normally a 0-2 and read the reviews to size up. E&J usually runs ultra small so I sized up to 4, which was a little loose. I would have still work except the cut around the chest wasn't right for me, I tried to wear a strapless bra but it made my chest look weirder. It was cut too deep on the sides (you know shows off that weird armpit fat kinda thing?)

Great dress to wear with flats or open heel sandals.   This is for someone who is 5'6 and above given the tea length nature of it. I am 5'7 and loved the length.  I wore it for work and it can be dressed up to wear to a cocktail event or conference. 

Unfortunately don't have a photo, but the fit was absolutely incredible. Super comfortable. The seams are perfectly placed, and that in conjunction with the thick fabric, make the dress super slimming. I did not want to take it off, and I really did not want to return it. 

Great fit and flare style! Love this brand and the dress did not disappoint. 

This might be my favorite dress from RTR yet. It fit perfectly and was very flattering. Totally modest and work appropriate, yet still sexy in a classic, elegant way. Highly recommended for tall women.

Could be a go to piece. Classy. Nice material. Too small though. I am 0 most of the time. Want to rent it again but definitely need a 2 or even 4. 

The dress is a slim fit throughout the bodice and flares out at the bottom, making for a sophisticated twist on a work dress. The midi length offsets the sexy slim fit. Be aware that you will need to hide your bra straps.

Consistent with how Elizabeth and James dresses tend to fit me, the chest and waist fit me. It was a bit large across the shoulders (I don't love when the zipper doesn't lay flat on my back). On me, the bottom was much more flared than I thought the pictures made it out to be - it kind of made me look like a triangle. The fabric is also pretty thick/heavy/structured, so I didn't have that nice "flows with each step" look. The straps were a bit more narrow than I expected, so I had to play around with a few different cardigans to find one that fully covered up skin gaps.

All of this wouldn't have prevented me from wearing it to work - but the length on my 5'1" frame was much too long. The dress fell to an awkward place near my ankles. 

Beautiful dress but not friendly enough for this 3rd trimester bump. Sized up but was still unable to zip. 

I wore this dress for a couple of work days and it was very comfortable and professional looking.  A two fit me well.  A racer back bra seemed to work well with this one.

This dress fit me perfectly. it was really comfortable to wear all day long on a summer day. 

Could work in many occasions - color and material is lovely.  Keep in mind that it may be longer on you as compared to the model.  A solid choice..
