This dress was one of my favorites I've ever rented (and I've rented a lot)! Unique, beautiful and super comfortable. The color ranges from blue to more of a teal depending on the light. I wore it to a January wedding in Florida, and the velvet material was still comfortable in the upper 70's temps. I'd definitely recommend it for pear shapes like myself, as it hugs on the bottom but the looseness on the top balances you out. If you're more of a straight & narrow shape I'd probably size down to an XS, but the small worked for me since I'm bigger in the hips where it's snug. In terms of length, I'm 5'5" and the regular just dusted the ground without heels. I wore 3" heels and it still worked fine, but if you're any taller than me I'd go with a long. There's an open/keyhole back so you can wear sticky bra or I was totally comfortable just going braless with the thick material. Overall highly recommend!

I wore this dress to a Cancun wedding and got SO many compliments. It was the perfect combination of fun and formal. I ordered both the small and x-small and the small ended up fitting better. I'm a full C and wouldn't recommend it for cup sizes larger than that, but it fit well for me. It would've looked even better on smaller cup sizes IMO. I wore cutlets underneath and secured the top with fashion tape and that worked great. Highly recommend this dress!

My mom is NOT the girly dress-wearing type (she had changed into her "comfy" sandals by the time of this photo), so I knew renting would be the way to go for her mother-of-the-bride dress for my wedding. We're almost the exact same height and weight, she just has a larger ribcage than me, so we ordered her a 6 and 8. She ended up wearing the 8 because it was a little more comfortable, but both sizes would have worked. The top was looser on the 8 but she has a more bottom-heavy shape. Overall she said she got SO many compliments on the dress and people just raved about it. Highly recommend!!

This dress could not have been more perfect! I've rented a LOT from RTR and this dress was probably my favorite so far. It was exactly my style and I got so many compliments (even one from a rando passerby on the street!). I normally wear between 2 and 4, and didn't even try on the 2 after the 4 fit great. It was just roomy enough and so comfortable. The lace details were beautiful, and it was a fun unique dress for my rehearsal dinner. Wish I could keep it!

I usually wear a 2 and sometimes a 4, and had to go with the 4 for this dress. If you're small but have a curvy figure, I'd size up for your alternate size. But the 4 fit perfectly and the material felt nice and high quality, with just enough stretch. Length hit a few inches above the knee (I'm 5'5"), and the slit in the middle didn't tend to be as large for me as it was on the model. The only complaint I'd have is that I wore a pretty sturdy strapless bra, and the bottom of it tended to peek out into the slit if I didn't hike it up. Overall lovely dress and definitely wedding appropriate!

This dress was GORGEOUS and perfect for the black tie wedding I went to. I didn't have any problems with fit, and I didn't really notice the sparkles scratching under the arms like some other reviewers did. I loved the low back and interesting high-low hemline of the skirt too (you'll have to go bra-less or wear cutlets because of the low back, but no big). Overall I would definitely recommend this dress and wear it again!

I would definitely recommend sizing up for your alternate size, especially if you're wearing it to a formal event. I wished I could have taken the top of the size 2 and put it on the bottom of the size 4, because the bottom was very tight and short on the 2 (the material is stretchy), but the top/shoulders were a little baggy when I sized up. But I used some fashion tape to keep the shoulders pulled back and that worked great, so I went with the 4. Overall this dress was GORGEOUS and I loved the pattern and shape of the open back, plus it was super comfortable. Oh and my roommate in the photo rented the Tibi Self Reflection dress, which was so pretty too!!

I loved wearing this dress to a wedding - it was gorgeous! I normally don't go for dresses that are completely fitted, but the thick/textured material doesn't show off every nook and cranny so it was perfect. It's just stretchy enough to be super comfortable but not look too tight. The size 2 was luckily perfect for me since they were out of my backup size. The only thing I would say is that it tended to ride up a tad as I walked around but that wasn't a big deal. It was long enough on me to where it still didn't look hoochie when it rode up some. Definitely would recommend this dress!
