Fit great, has a low back so either no bra or specialized one is needed. My 20 y/o daughter upvoted the jumpsuit so I didn’t wear this but it was great too.

Wore it to my company holiday party. Got way more compliments than expected. Has a classic “Barbie” feel to it with the fit and flare style. Another Badgley Mischka for the win 

The bodice runs snug, but necessary to given voluminous skirt.  I am 5’4, 127lbs and I wore a size 6. (Size 8 was not as flattering)

Check the lining before you go out. I did not and noticed too late that it hung below the front hem. 

I wore this to a gala and it was comfortable, beautiful and had pockets!! No special bra needed; a regular black one was perfect. A simple wrap made it warm for the wintertime gala. The sparkling bodice and low-high hemline make this dress really festive and special!

It’s not the most exciting dress, but I wore it for a black tie NYE party. Pretty and gets the job done.

Beautiful dress. I ended up wearing something else because recommended size 6 didn’t fit and the extra order size 8 was uncomfortably tight— no give in waist band. 

Got a lot of compliments, this is just a classy black dress! Didn’t even need to steam it when it arrived at the hotel for a graduation ball. And it has pockets! I normally wear a four and this time I wore the six and I couldn’t wear a bra, but it was very formfitting and I didn’t need one. The sequins were not itchy, I have a hangup about that!

I NEVER ever wear this cut of dress, always convinced it makes me look bottom heavy. However, the reviews gave me confidence to try it. And I'm glad I did! The effect was that it made my waist look smaller, in my opinion. It was the perfect dress for a formal wedding! 

I wore it to a charity gala. Worked great. Comfy. I’m only 5’0”, so it was long on me, but still looked fine. The 2 fit nicely, not tight, even with my mom pooch, and no shape wear. The 4 would’ve been fine, too, just a tad looser. I’m hippy, so this dress was a great choice for me. 

Only issue was the back was little low, I kept having to tug my bra down - finally gave up since it was black not too noticeable but it ruined the scoop of the back which was nice. Loved the high-low hem and poofiness of the skirt. 

The dress was perfect for a black tie optional banquet.  It photographs well.  Love the pockets and while it had a deep b in back, was still able to wear a normal bra with it.  Only problem I had was very tight on my rib cage.  I typically wear a 6 but went with my second size an 8 to be able to breath!  

The size 2 fit (my normal size) but in the lung area it was tight. Felt like a squeeze. And I’m not large chested, so I’m sure if you’re higher than an A cup, you will for sure need to size up. I sized up and felt better/more comfortable in the 4. 

I loved this dress. It was comfortable & adorable! The 2 fit perfect & I’m 5’7’’ & 115 lb. 

I really liked this dress and enjoyed wearing it, although I needed a backless/strapless bra to make the back look right. 

If only this could have worked!!!!! It was so cute and exactly the fun, flirty, spunky- yet classy formal look I wanted! However, it was WAY too tight around my rib cage (boobs were fine), and  cut up into my armpits. This made it particularly scratch and uncomfortable. There is no way that I could have worn this for an entire evening. I’m really hopeful that trying the next size up will work! Fingers crossed that it was the size and not just the way it’s made. Such potential to be fun and cute! 

I love this dress! This was a black tie wedding and it was absolutely perfect! Definitely would rent again or would love to own. ❤️ I ended up with a 10 and not the 8….but I often flex between the two sizes.

I’ve rented several of these dresses and I always feel so comfortable in them! Not tight in the stomach and long enough in the back. Loved it!

I'm always an 8 or a 10 in dresses.  The 10 was a little big, so I was able to order a quick replacement and the 8 fit perfect! I wore this dress for a wedding in Brooklyn that was cocktail attire.  I felt it was a perfect dress for the occasion.  The dress has a high/low element that flares out like a tutu that made me feel very Carrie Bradshaw.  Highly recommend for a simple, classy dress! Oh and it has pockets!! 

Rented this dress for a formal evening wedding at an elegant hotel and it was a winner. Not only was it beautiful but it was also comfortable and the pockets were a nice bonus. The back up size came in handy. I usually wear an 8 but it was a little snug and hard to fully zip, so I opted for comfort and wore the 10. Paired with sparkly gold heeled sandals and a clutch. We had a fun and fabulous evening! 

I was 5 foot, 180 pounds, 36D chest. This is a size 12 dress. Since I'm so short the size 14 skirt portion puffed out too much. I went with a size 12. The bottom half does puffed out the way to design which could make it look bigger but it's also forgiving and flattering. Great low back.

Dress was fabulous.  I felt great in it and absolutely love the pockets 

I got a 6 and an 8 and ended up wearing the 8. I enjoyed wearing the dress, but the band between the two parts was a little tight for me on the ribcage. As a swimmer, I tend to have a bigger ribcage. Otherwise the fit was just fine. I liked that I didn't need to wear a bra with the dress and the back was really cute. It was fun and I enjoyed dancing in it!

The fit was perfect, very comfortable, and it has pockets! 

It fit well. The pockets are a plus. Bottom part can get wrinkly. I ended up wearing a size 4.

This was a very comfortable dress. I wore the size 14 instead of my usual 16.

This dress is gorgeous and receives tons of compliments! It is super comfortable and well made. The only small flaw is for ladies with a bigger booty. The dress is tight around the rib cage so it you have a bigger booty it causes the dress to sit a little higher and creates some gapping in the back, but nothing a little pinning can't fix! 

Aside from the dress the customer service at Rent the Runway is unmatched.  None of my original options worked so new ones were overnighted! 

Great dress! Super cute! I have a bigger rib cage so it was snug under my boobs. But all in all I think it was still true to size, I’m between an 8 and 10. I do wish I had sized up.

This is a great dress and really photographs well. I'm a bit heavier than usual right now and between a 10 and a 12- and the 12 just barely fit so I'd say size up if you are debating. My friend also rented this same dress and is pretty consistently an 8 but the 10 fit perfect. If it will be tight, it would be across the ribs. There's pretty good space otherwise.

This was the perfect "Audrey Hepburn" type dress for a gala. I rented this in size 4 and 6. I normally wear a 4 but the waistband doesn't have give and the 6 was more comfortable. I was able to wear a normal strapless bra with this dress. I am 5'3" and 130 lbs. 

Ordered 10 & 12. I wore the 12. I'm a 38D

I ordered a size 14 and a size 16. I was a size 14 at the time but went with the size 16 as 14 was just a tad too snug. It was comfortable and looked great.
