Amazing dress!
I rented this for a yearly black tie we do. Every year I have worn Badgley Mischka but this year I HAD to try this dress. It fit perfectly! I'm very tall (5'8) and the long just graced the floor in my 5" heels. I'm also a DD chest so a lot of times that's an issue but this was perfect. I got a ton of compliments and really stood out in a sea of sequence and black. You won't be disappointed!

Simplicity at it's finest
Dress is beautiful. Fit perfectly and very light. I wore a strapless bra and had no issues. I would recommend a shaper if you're uncomfortable because the color is not forgiving on your shape. I could have actually sized down, there was room in the mid section and sides. If you want it to be fitted size down.

Amazing jumpsuit
Only con was the straps were loose so if I bent forward they fell down. Other than that pretty true to size. I would size down for your back up though. I'm pretty wide in my hips but I still had plenty of room.

Incredible dress!!
I rented this for a wedding and felt amazing. It's true to size but if you have a smaller chest you will need a strapless bra, it's a little loose up top. My only complaint is, like many RTR dresses, the zipper wasn't working and then halfway through the night it split from the bottom to the top and I couldn't get out of it. I'm told they will refund me for my purchase.

Classic black dress
This dress is a very classic black dress. The sides and back offer a little twist of sexy but still keeping it very classy. It's fitted throughout the lower half and the top is loose. You can go braless, a full bra will show on the sides. BM always fits perfect!!

I usually am between a size 8 and 10. The eight fit absolutely perfectly. I have a larger chest, 34DD, and wide hips and big butt, and this hugged every curve perfectly. It was extremely flattering. I was pulled aside at my event by so many people to comment on how gorgeous the dress was, even by men! You need to rent this dress, it was arguably my best rental yet!

Zero give, very tight dress
I couldnt wear this. I'm generally an 8/10 but this dress had zero stretch whatsoever. I had to put it on weird bc i couldnt gwt it over my head. I have a larger chest and curvy hips/butt and i couldnt pull the bottom up over my butt if i had to use the bathroom. That was the 8, i was swimming in the 10 and it was huge. Basically if you are curvy dont bother trying this one

I'm generally an 8-10, closer to a 10, but I couldn't even wear the 8 bc it was too big up top. I loved the dress though and plan to rent for another party in a smaller size

I love Jay Godfrey. I actually wore the 8 and I'm closer to a 10 so size down for your backup. It was form fitting but not skin tight. I wore to dinner and then dancing and had no issues moving all night. It's a great alternative to a plain black dress!

Great dress!
I rented this before there were any reviews and i was a little nervous about it, but I'm so glad I got it! It was brand new with tags when I received it which was nice. It was short but not uncomfortable and I'm tall (5'8). I'm usually closer to a 10/L but the M actually fit comfortably. It was a little snug in the waist and more loose in the top. I have a larger chest so it held nicely (32DD) but it is low cut (I left it pinned in the chest area when it came but as the night went on it didn't last, it was low but but too revealing) I would definitely recommend this dress. You can't beat the price!

You need a bathroom buddy
I rented this for my birthday as a back up and wanted to wear it but realized I couldn't get the zipper open down on my own. It's really stiff in the mid back area. I ended up not wearing it because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get it on and off in the bathroom. I plan to rent again when I have a different type of event

Comfort and sexy
The slit is REALLY high, almost uncomfortable. I have really long legs so it felt revealing. I'm normally an 8 but wore the 10 bc it wasn't as tight and I could move better when dancing. Great dress

Vegas Vow Renewal
I wore this to renew my wedding vows in Vegas. I LOVE this dress. I'm an 8/10 with 34DD's. the medium fit like a glove. The only thing was the top, even with larger boobs it still didn't fit snugly. I wore a strapless bra and that helped. It's also a little see through so wear nude or white undies. Buy this one. It's amazing

This dress is incredibly forgiving in all the right places with tons of stretch. The color is very bright in person and gorgeous. I'm tall, 5'8, and it wasn't too short. Just get it.

Subtle side boob
I rented this for my sisters Bachelorette. It's very tight but not uncomfortably so. There is definite side boob but it's subtle because of the black mesh. It's very light weight and stretchy. Would totally wear again!

Runs very small!
I'm generally an 8 and can even wear many 6's in RTR dresses. They didn't have a size up available so I rolled the dice and got the 8. I couldn't wear it at all. Couldn't even zip. The size up MAY have fit. I would maybe order a size or two up especially if you have wider hips

An amazing purchase!
I purchased this during the 90% off sale and got an incredible deal. It didn't seem like anything special but for the price I figured I'd get it and I LOVE it. It's true to size even with a larger chest (I'm a 32DD). It's very flattering and will hide your tummy and hips. I would recommend to anyone!

I wore this to a formal party in Philly. I'm generally an 6/8 but usually wear an 8 more often. The 6 fit perfect. I would size down for your backup size The dress was very comfortable and I was able to dance and move easily. I am 5'8 and ordered a Long, my only was was that it was longer, with heels you saw all of my heels, for a gown it didn't sit very long. I received a ton of compliments and we were interviewed as "best dressed" for the evening and photographed by Philly Magazine and Philly Style. Wish I owned this one!!

I wore this for NYE in Philly. The dress is amazing. The sparkles don't picture very well, it's very sparkly. It's true to size and hugs you in all the right places. I highly recommend this one!

Incredible dress!
This dress is gorgeous. It was a replacement for an order that didn't fit and I'm so glad I got this instead. I'm 5'8 153lbs and 32DD. You have to go braless (I did) or a Nu Bra. I'm generally an 8, occasionally a 6 but the 8 fit perfectly. The only con is that because it's so snug and tight it's not very forgiving. I had to wear a seamless thong and you could still see some of the detailing on the front, you can even see my belly button in the picture. Would rent again.

An amazing dress!!
I wore this dress to a birthday party at a bar/restaurant. The dress is great bc you can dress it down or make it fancy for a more formal outing. The material is light and very stretchy so it gives you amazing curves. I wore a strapless bra bc the straps show, you could go no bra if you have nip pasties. It's snug in the waist so if that area makes you uncomfortable I'd recommend spanx. I wish I could keep this one and I'm considering buying it! Definitely one of my favorite rentals!

I wore this on me trip to Vegas. I sized up for comfort but I think it runs true to size. It's short if you have long legs like me but not impossible to wear. My husband kept asking what we had to do to buy it ;)

This dress is stunning! I am 5'8 and the L fit perfectly. You may want to size up if you have a larger chest, it fits pretty snug (no bra at all needed). My only complaint is that the zipper was broken on both sizes and it was difficult to get on and off.

Classy dress with a bit if sexy
I wore this to the Christmas Party my husband hosted loft his employees. It was beautiful and looks so much more amazing in person. I received compliments the second I walked into the door. It's true to size but it fits very snug and the material doesn't stretch at all. I didn't want it to be too inappropriate for a fancy dinner so I sized up one size and it worked perfectly. I'm 5'8 and wore three inch heels and the length was perfect, a few inches above the knee but still very classy. I would definitely rent again.

Great fit with standout colors!
This was sent as a replacement dress. I was disappointed that there was a stain on the front but it was the day of my event so I spot treated it and wore it anyway. I'm really glad I did! Thankfully no one noticed the stain and I received tons of compliments! It was a little fitted in the chest and arms but still pretty true to size. Kate Spade dresses never disappoint! (Side note, I called customer service right away about the stain and they immediately corrected the situation to my satisfaction, awesome customer service!)

Amazing showstopper!!
I wore this for a massive girls night out at an upscale restaurant in Philly then drinks/dancing in a club. It was the perfect dress for the event! I got tons of compliments from complete strangers. The dress is stretchy and comfortable however there is a row of sequence on the inside so when you sit for a while it hurts your thighs. I sized up because I still have a bit of a belly from my last pregnancy but the 8 would have fit perfectly if I wasn't insecure about that. It's meant to fit tight but sizing up still looks great.

I wore this to dinner then drinks after for my husband's birthday. I wore the L only because I felt more confident with it being a little more loose in the midsection (I still have a bit of a belly pouch from my last pregnancy) but I do think it's true to size. The material is very stretchy and cool. I would definitely rent from this designer again!

Awesome day to night dress
I wore this on my vacation to LA. I originally wanted a dress for a fancy dinner but when I hit this I felt it was more of an all day dress. I wore in on a tour, lunch and shopping on Rodeo Drive. I actually got compliments from total strangers while shopping. I'm a huge Lilly fan and her dresses tend to fit true to size for me (I wear my weight in my hips and stomach and her dresses do a great job at covering that). The material is very light and perfect for a hot day. I may buy this one!

So many compliments!
This dress is amazing. I've never received so many compliments. I wore it to a wedding at a vineyard at sunset and it was perfect for the event. It does run small up top but I'm a small C cup and it wasn't an issue. Any larger and I would have gone a size up and it would have worked. The color is also more of a pink, the picture makes it look red.
