Loved this dress as it was my first RTR experience! I loved the length and style of this dress. There is a navy blue slip under the lace that in flash photos you can see which I happened to love! I didn't have time to find the 'perfect' necklace so I went san's necklace and paired with red pumps and a red blazer. This dress is so versatile! I normally wear a 6/8 and I went with the 8, only b/c I was more comfortable in it- didn't even try on the 6. The dress is fitted but does not constrict or ride up like many fitted dresses. Received so many compliments on this dress at my company Christmas part from people my age (mid-20's) to some of my coworkers wives (40+). Didn't get the greatest pictures as I was visiting most of the time, but will post what I got from home. Will be renting again soon!! :) 

This dress fit perfectly!  So comfortable, I would buy it if I could! 

My first RTR rental! Amazing dress, fit just a bit snug in the butt. I wore the larger size so I could sit down during the night!

I originally ordered the Size 8. Since the dress was tight across my chest, I had to go up a size.  RTR overnighted the size 10 to me. I was very pleased. The 10 was a pretty good fit - slight gap at the top in the back bc of the larger size but did not interfere with the look plus I wore my hair down. I used fashion tape to hide the blue under- slip. Very comfortable. So easy to return!  I will definitely use RTR again.

I'm usually super self conscious about my mid section because I am very short waisted and have wider hips. I felt that this dress really extenuated my figure and was so flattering. I received so many compliments and it was the perfect, sparkley dress to ring in 2015!

This dress was beautiful and fit true to size. I am typically a 2, and this dress fir great without being too big or too tight anywhere. It was really comfortable and was perfect for my cocktail party!

LOVED this dress and received an unbelievable amount of compliments. I wore it for a NYE wedding so it was the perfect amount of sparkle and class. I rented a size 2 and a 4, and the 2 was perfect. Couldn't entirely lift my arms above my head, but I barely noticed. The dress was very flattering, and as some girls mentioned, the blue lining under showed occasionally but I didn't think it was that big of a deal, especially when I was standing. The slip was dark blue, but when I'd look in the mirror the dress looked darker. Only under the picture flash did the dress seem blue.
The only thing about the dress is if I stood straight, the top area of my back around the zipper would do that bump/hump so that was a little annoying. But if I kept my shoulders forward a little, it was fine. And it didn't show in the pictures. I would definitely rent this dress again.  

Perfect balance of modesty and sparkle for a company holiday party. Comfortable and figure flattering. Received many compliments. Solved the problem of the slip hanging too low with fashion tape. Would highly recommend!

Fit great. I went up to a 4 to accommodate easier movement. Underlay is navy, but dress is black lace with silver. Just lace on the arms.

Slimming fit, ordered the 2 and the 4. Went with the 2 and it was very comfortable and flattering.  

I wore this dress to my company holiday party- it was perfect! I got a ton of compliments. I do think it runs a little small. I usually wear a size 2, but ended up having to wear the size 4, which fit perfectly! The lining is actually navy blue, but it looked black most of the time. The sheath material was not scratchy at all like I thought it would be, especially in the sleeve area. I also didn't have any problems with the lining showing at the bottom like others did. Would definitely recommend and rent again!

The dress fit great! I got a 2 and a 4, but decided to go with the 2 as the fit was more flattering for my frame. I have an overall athletic build so I was nervous about the dress being too small in the shoulders and arms, but it fit great. The only issue had is the blue lining would peak out from the bottom occasionally but I only noticed it once or twice. It is a little tight in the hips, but I didn't find it uncomfortable at all. I got a ton of compliments on the dress and was actually sad to return it!

It was more comfortable that I thought it would be.  I normally wear a 4/6 but had to wear the 8 because of my bust size. The navy slip kept coming out as you see in the picture but I loved the navy color under the black lace. 

My only complaint about the dress was that the lining was longer than the lace . When I put the dress on, the lining hung much lower than the bottom of the dress. I fixed the problem by using safety pins to fold up the lining around the seam at the waist. Shapewear tights made it so there were bumps and bulges.

This dress looks better on than on the hanger. I received a lot of compliments. I wore it to the annual Christmas party at the country club. The 6 fit me perfectly. The only issue I had was the hem. As others have stated it hung down about 2 inches in the front. I pinned it up though and was good to go. This was my first rental and it was so easy from ordering to returning. This is an amazing site and I will use it again and again. I have also shared it w/ all on facebook and by word of mouth. Just wish you were around for prom and all of my college formals. I wore this dress to a holiday party. I normally wear a size two which felt a little snug but it looked perfect so I went with it. The hem did hang below the lace but I used a little tape to fix that. I loved how I looked in this dress and would definitely rent it again!

This dress fit me perfectly--it was super comfortable and appropriate for a work holiday party. It's very modest--I was surprised that it was on the long side, even though I'm tall. I was also surprised that the fabric wasn't itchy either. The only drawback was the length, I would have preferred it to be a bit shorter, to be honest. An unrelated drawback--there were a handful of other women at the party wearing a very similar dress; the lace overlay look seems to be a big trend this holiday season.

The sleeves were a bit itchy like others said but really didn't end up bothering me. The size 6 fit but was a bit snug around my hips. I went with the 8 and felt more comfortable...also got a of compliments. I liked it so much wanted to keep the dress!

The dress runs true to size and is a fun/flirty. The color is great for a fall or winter formal event. I received so many compliments on the dress throughout the night. I hate to part with it.

I received so many compliments on this dress! I ordered a 4 & 6 - ended up wearing the 6 as the 4 was a little tight, the 6 was a little loose in the back across my shoulders but fit great everywhere else, came to right above my knees. I wore this to a black tie optional wedding, the dress is pretty fancy but very comfortable. I didn't want to take this dress off it was beautiful. 

The fit was great!  A little snug in the chest area. So comfortable and easy to wear. I did have to pin up the lining because it was longer than the dress but no big deal at all! SO WORTH IT!!!

I wore tthe dress to a blacktie optional wedding, and it had just enough glam and sparkle! I got a ton of compliments, I ordered a 2 and 4. The 2 fit, but was really snug, I don't like my outfits too crazy right, so the 4 was just right! LOVED IT!

I really liked the dress.  It fit well while accommodating my curves.  I liked the shiny lace and the combination of navy and black. I highly recommend this dress for a night out on the town.

I rented a size 6 & got a size 4 for back up. Although it was slightly snug, I ended up wearing the 4 because it fit just above my knees, where as the 6 hung past my knees, making me look shorter than I already am (5'1). Very beautiful, flattering dress!

I was overly optimistic choosing sizes 2 and 4. The 2 was ridiculously small, and the 4 was 1 pound away from being too small. It worked out, but I should have chosen 4 and 6, just in case. The length was great, but I'm only 5'2".

Fit was very comfortable and forgiving on my mummy tummy!! I got a lot of compliments. 

I wore this to my Law Review banquet and it was perfect. The higher neckline and sleeves made it feel professional, but it was still short enough to be fun. I had numerous compliments on the dress from students, professors, and other faculty. I am tall, but did not feel that the dress was too short. The dress fits true to size--I rented the 12 and 14 and felt very comfortable in the 12.

I wore this dress to a dinner gala fundraiser. I really liked the dress and got a lot of compliments on it. I wore it with sheer black stockings and a pair of basic black suede heels, because it was cold out. I was surprised to find out that the under layer of the dress was navy. It gave the dress an added tone though. The dress didn't have too much give to it, but it fit like a glove. Overall I loved this dress and would rent it again!!

I ordered both the 6 and the 8. Although the 6 fit well, I preferred to wear the 8 as it had a little more room across the shoulders and hips. I am pretty short, so this dress hit me just above the knees and was perfect! I paired this dress with the Kate Spade Silver Bright Spot necklace and it was just the added touch this dress needed! It photographs well and I got lots of compliments all night! I will rent this dress again and RTR was amazing! 

This was my backup dress but ended up being more appropriate for the SF Ballet Gala. It was comfortable to wear and very true to size. The lining, however, was VERY stretched out and hung down about 2" so I had to do some quick basting. But overall the dress was great and I wish I owned it.

I wore this to a company awards dinner - black tie optional.  Fit was amazing - conservative enough for work, flattering enough that I felt great and got compliments all night long!  Very comfortable.  There's some give in the fabric.  I usually wear a size 2, but actually ended up wearing the size 0 this night.  There wasn't much difference, but I am petite at 5'2" and the length between shoulders and waist on the dress was a better fit for me in size 0.  Highly recommend!

I wore this to an event that took place during the holiday season, and I loved the sparkle from this dress and necklace. The dress was a perfect fit, and the necklace is a stunner. The dress provides full coverage and falls mid-thigh. It's a sexy dress with class.

The dress fit well, not too tight, not too short, very comfortable.  Just the right amount of sparkle.

The fit was great! It gave me a grea shape & it looks better on than in the picture!. I wore no stockings with black open-toe showes & it was a big hit!

Fit was lovely. Sleeves were a bit tight in the shoulders, but I have broad shoulders and usually have trouble with the fit. Not much stretch, but was comfortable to wear for the evening.

Rented for NYE. A little loose in the top but otherwise true to size fit. The lining is longer than the lace overlay, I saw this in the other reviews but forgot to get hem tape. Ended up being fine, because I had dark tights on. Overall very pleased, could have been more comfortable and not overly forgiving shape.

Loved this dress! If your a pear shape, the top will be a little larger than the bottom. But 4 fit me great, it was tighter like I wanted. Otherwise the 6 was a good back up. Would definitely rent again

From start to finish, the entire experience was top-notch! The dresses were in excellent condition. I typically wear a 6, but went with the 4 (my backup) as it had a smoother fit across my body, while the 6 was slightly bunchy across my torso. It was a comfortable dress without any scratchiness from the lace. I felt amazing in this dress, which made it all worth while! Overall a fab dress for my fancy work holiday party!

It was a great dress!  I loved the shimmery detail.  I didn't have much of a problem with the underlay, but I will say the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is it is unforgiving!!!  I wish I had had spanx to wear underneath.  Otherwise, the zero is a true zero, but not uncomfortable.  I tried on the 2, but it wasn't more forgiving, and looked a little big-so just fair warning.  Loved the dress itself, and I received compliments all night long!  It's a simple, not over the top dress, but it gets noticed!!!!

0 fit like a glove but restricted movement. 2 was more comfortable and still flattering. I received lots on compliments. Sparkly yet classy, great for a Christmas wedding!

Fit was loose but otherwise no complaints! Length was appropriate for a conservative work function and fabric was stretchy and comfortable. The gold really comes through more in person so this really had some sparkle. 

I ordered this in a 4 with a 6 as a backup size. I tried on the 4, and it was tight in the hips. I tried on the 6 and it felt much better in the hips, but it was really baggy in the upper back. I ended up wearing the 4 because it was less baggy in the back (I'm attributing this to me being very pear shaped, not necessarily a flaw in the dress- but pear shapes be aware!). I got a lot of compliments on the dress and liked it very much! 

This dress is true to size. It hides your flaws. I wore it to a Christmas party in NYC. I received many compliments all throughout the night. I was sad to return it. 

I loved this dress, and received so many compliments! The underlay of the 2 was significantly longer than the lace, so I went with the 0. Both dresses fit me well though. It was very comfortable and easy to move around in. I would definitely recommend it.

Wore this to a "black tie optional" "Monaco" theme Holiday Party for my husband's work.  Wanted something "fun" that didn't show too much skin and was comfortable to wear.  This dress fit the bill!  I'm 5'8 in and 148 lbs and normally an 8 but choose the 10 as per other reviewers info that it fit a little small.  And as other reviewers said, the under lining does sneak down, so I bought the fashion tape to solve that problem.   

Wore this dress to my work's Christmas Party, and it was absolutely perfect! Received a ton of compliments on the fit, and design. I would definitely rent again! Their really isn't any give in the lace or fabric, so if you're on the fence about sizes I would suggest opting for the second size in one size bigger than you typically wear. 

I really enjoyed this dress. A little short but not uncomfortably short (almost everything normal length is shorter on me). Got a ton of compliments. 

The lining was a little longer but I used fashion tape to hold it up. This dress would accommodate a

Fit very well--but it was a bit itchy, and the lining was longer than the lace so I was adjusting it all night unfortunately. Was a perfectly lovely dress, but not as WOW as I had been hoping for. 

I'm about 5'7" 150lbs. Athletic build. I was a swimmer my whole life so my arms/shoulders are big. I ordered both a 10 &12 just in case the sleeves were too small. The 10 fit very well! The sleeves were a little snug, but I  could still move around comfortably. I read the reviews and got fashion tape, because the other girls were right about the slip showing at the bottom. There's just enough sparkle on the dress and was very flattering! I would recommend this dress for a fall/winter wedding or event! Thanks RTR! 

Most other reviews mentioned that the under slip kept poking out the bottom. Fashion tape took care of it though and this dress was great for the December wedding I went to!

Fits true to size. Nice stretch where needed in the chest. The only downside is that the fabric remains stretched out so if you're seated for any amount of time it loosens around the hips and legs, losing its form-fitting nature after a while. 

This was a dress that was sent to me next day when my original dress did not fit and was unable in the next size needed. The dress looked great. I loved it. 

This was a great, very comfortable dress.  As mentioned in the reviews, the lining hung below the dress, but a little piece of fashion tape fixed that.  I don't like how I'm standing in this picture, but I received a lot of compliments...so it must have been a good selection.  Great dress!  This was also my first experience with RTR and I LOVED it!! 

Winter wedding in Minnesota. Fabric doesn't have a lot of stretch so be wary when bending over. But the sparkles are great and the fit is overall good. It was a little snug around the hips but that's the style of the dress. Loved it and so did others. 

Ordered a 10 and 12 and was able to wear the 10 and had a good amount of room in the waist.  Ran a title tight in the chest but I am a 38D so that could be why.  Didn't want to send this dress back!

Rented for the second time and same issue plus seam along front coming apart and didn't notice until end of the evening.  I would say this runs a little on the small side but was very pretty and classy.  Had to hem the lining with fashion tape which I read about in other reviews so had the tape purchased and ready.  Thought it would have been fixed since so many mentioned it but that wasn't the case.  Did call and rep was great about it, sent photos so hopefully the hem will get taken care of.  

Wore size 10 based on reviews saying it ran small.  Could probably have worn 8 (my normal size).  Dress was quite roomy in upper back/shoulder area and even some extra room at waist/hips, but it was super comfortable in size 10.  Wore with Black pashmina and tights:booties.  Wanted something warm and also arm-covering for winter event.  Navy slip did hang down but I safety pinned it inside at the waist and fixed the problem.    Forgot to take pin out before sending back - sorry!!  Will let customer service know :). Was deciding between this and black dress, glad I went out of my comfort zone with this one.  Conservative but still sexy I think.

Loved this dress. I wore it for my company winter party and received so many compliments on it. I typically wear between a size 8/10 but I only ordered the 8 and the fit was perfect on my hour glass figure. The dress is very forgiving. The only con was the inside liner peeks out the bottom. I used some fashion tape to create a temporary hem for just the liner. Worked like a charm!

The underneath layer of this dress is navy blue. Then over top lays a beautiful black and metallic silver lace. I'm normally between an 8 or 10, and I wore the 10 very comfortably. As others have stated, this dress doesn't "give" a while lot, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I anticipated. I would definitely rent this again. 

This dress had the perfect amount of sparkle for New Year's Eve. The lace on the sleeves is soft and not scratchy. The dress fit true to size, the only issue I had was with the length. I am 5'5 and it came down to my knees. If you are going for a very modest look then that might be fine, but for me, with the fully covered neckline and 3/4 length sleeves, the knee-length hem was too long. I was disappointed because I read several reviews before purchasing and did not see any mentioning the length. I had to work some magic to make it appear shorter. Once it was shortened it was perfect!

Loved the silver sparkle and wow factor of this dress! The underlay adds a nice pop of navy. Sometimes the underlay would extend beyond the silver mesh, but it wasn't bad and it wasn't anything that a pin couldn't help. This was the perfect dress for a New Year's wedding. 

The lace in the arms sometimes made it uncomfortable to wear and the zipper can get bunched up in the back. However, this dress fit well and had more sparkle to it then in pictures. The shape of the dress makes you look thinner as well which is always a plus!

Pretty dress, shimmer was exactly what I was looking for. Very form fitting, so if you're worried about any problem areas, this dress will not hide them.  Lovely dress.. But I will need to get back on my workout routine before I think about renting this one again. On the other hand, it stayed in place and I didn't have to yank the hem down or shift it at all during the night. 

This dress fits true to size.  Even though it is called a sheath, it is form fitting, which I liked.  Typically I find lace sleeves to be tight and restricting, however, these were not and allowed for plenty of movement.  I'm on the taller side, but the length was good and appropriate for all occasions.  Similar to other reviews, the navy lining hung below the lace overall.  I just used a little tape and it easily fixed the problem.  I loved this dress and received many compliments.  I did not want to return it!

Sleeves were a tad itchy if you're sensitive to feels. Overall gorgeous and didn't require accessories to feel made up and ready. I was able to dance without feeling constricted. 

Not a great pic but I really loved this dress and wish I owned it! I wore to my company holiday party and received tons of compliments. The perfect amount of sparkle, with still being conservative enough for a work function.  Ran a tad bit small especially through chest so I wore the larger back up size. Would definitely rent again.
