I’m a pretty typical / hourglass size 8 and like the other reviews, while I thought the waist fit well the chest was very small and not flattering. I am around a 30 or 32F bust, so not surprising, but I think this would be most flattering on someone that is relatively flat chested. It’s a gorgeous print and design of a dress and flows well, although I think it’s a little absurd that any garmet that allegedly sells for $1000+ is 100% polyester. Would be great for a formal summer or early fall wedding

Adorable but runs large
I am usually between an 8 and 10. I ordered the 10 since this is supposed to be a looser style, and also because I'd be on my period and wanted to be comfy :). The skirt is clearly of very good quality and super cute, but it was HUGE. It literally almost fell off entirely - i would have needed to pin probably 4-5 inches to wear it at my natural waist. I ended up not wearing it at all. I might reorder an 8 but honestly may need to go down to a 6 which hasn't happened in many years.

Gorgeous dress but runs big
This is a beautiful color and lovely material however it runs very big, especially through the shoulders and chest run very big - and I am saying this as a 32. I usually go between 8 and 10 on RTR and definitely could have sized down to a SR on this one and been perfectly comfortable and still had a nice loose fit. I am 5'5 and the length was great. All in all this is a great pick for fall and esp. for comfy but cute quarantine casual, but I would size down.

Cute pants, good quality, but not for women with hips
These are really cute, gorgeous colored pants, but they were incredibly uncomfortable for me. I am an hourglass shape, and while these comfortably fit in the waist, they have no stretch at all and were pulling an incredible amount around my hips. It was so uncomfortable that after everyone left the office (I had to work late), I actually changed into yoga pants so I could focus better. Wouldn't recommend for women with hips/a larger-than-average butt.

A bit short, not sure it's for hourglass figures
This dress is a gorgeous color and material, but I ultimately turned it in for a different rental. I had hoped to use it as a work-to-holiday party transition peace, but it was WAY too short for work, even with tights (and I'm 5'5, so not exactly an amazon). I am a pretty standard-to-petite 8 and rented a 10 because that was the only size available, and it fit nicely, so I'd say it runs a bit on the small size? As an hourglass figure, it also made me look a bit big on the bottom because of the way the waist hits. That said, the color is a knock-out and I feel like it could be really great on someone else.

One of my favorite rentals!
I was disappointed when this jacket arrived without the collar, but I still LOVED it and wore it quite a bit before returning. It's a gorgeous caramel color, flattering fit, and the pockets are actually deep enough to be functional (rare with a jacket this cute).

Great color, okay pant.
These pants were...fine, and a good staple for work if you're trying to mix it up but not *too* much. The color is great, and the fit was fine, but nothing to write home about. The material does not stretch, but they fit true to size. Would not recommend for those with large hips/thighs as they just barely fit me, and I am fairly average.

Cute, comfortable dress, easy to dress up or down!
I LOVED this dress and actually thought about keeping it. Per other reviews, I sized one size up, from 8 to 10, and it fit perfectly. An 8 definitely would have fit but for this style I think the looser 10 was better. For work, it was easy to throw a blazer over it with tights and flats, whereas it was also great for the holiday party season with either a fun blazer or patterned tights and heeled booties. It's a great go-to, was flattering, and extremely comfortable.

Really cute, but soooo small!
I am a small size 8 (sometimes a 6) and could not even get this one zipped - even if I had, it would have been way too short to be comfortable or wear to work. Definitely size one or two up. Otherwise, the material seemed like high quality and it was cute.

Perfect summer work or casual dress!
I loved this dress - it was so comfortable and classic, and I got a ton of compliments the times I wore it. I had to pin the bust a bit to keep the buttons from gapping, but kind of expected that going in. Otherwise, it is definitely a roomier fit, so I thought it was super comfy. I probably could have sized down if I wasn't worried about the bust. I dressed it up for work with slacks and leather flats and wore it with whtite tennis shoes to dress it down. This is a great summer dress!

Comfortable, trendy, and girly all at once!
I LOVED this dress, but had to make a few adjustments to make it work for me: (1) as others mentioned, the straps were super weirdly long, so I had to pin them shorter (there's not other way to adjust); (2) I was wearing this for my friend's rehearsal dinner with her family, so I also pinned the v-neck a little, but I am also large busted so not sure if this would be necessary on everyone. This dress is so fun! The skirt is very full so it was so fun to walk/dance in, and the style is very cool. I'm sad I didn't get pictures! I will definitely rent this one again.

Not super flattering on my body type; didn't wear
So first the positives: the color of these pants is great, and I'm sure they would be super comfortable. However, on my hourglass shape, they made me look much bigger on the bottom and accentuated my tummy (not exactly something I'm going for), and they were a really weird length on my 5'5 frame. I'm sure these would be adorable on someone, but that someone was not going to be me.

LOVE this slightly cropped sweater; pay attention to the other reviews and size up!
I had a hard time returning this one (and honestly, I'll probably rent it again). This is a gorgeous, slightly cropped sweater that has a gorgeous neckline. It definitely runs small -- I am a pretty traditional medium but went with the other reviews and sized up to an XL, and it fit perfectly. I got a ton of compliments every time I wore this sweater, and paired it with boots and high waisted jeans for everyday. I did find the neckline to be a bit more open than pictured here, but I have narrow shoulders -- however that's something to consider if you're planning to wear it into work and are in a more conservative profession. The color is a beautiful burnt/rust orange that will be flattering on almost everyone but is especially great for redheads. Definitely recommend :)

Underwhelming, but a good basic
I rented this with my Update subscription as an option for casual engagement photos and/or for everyday wear with boots. I didn't end up wearing it much -- I just found it didn't look all that good on. It's quite thin. The color is gorgeous, and the sleeves are a nice touch, but overall it is underwhelming.

Super cute, but runs very large and is metallic!
I rented this blazer as a cute but professional option to wear to work. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me for two reasons. (1) It's not clear from the picture or description (unless I missed something), but this blazer is metallic, with gold thread. It will be absolutely adorable for the holiday party season, but was definitely NOT appropriate for my office. So if you're like me and in a workplace that can handle animal print but maybe not sparkly animal print, skip this one. (2) It runs very boxy and a bit large, so size down if you're between sizes FOR SURE. It may also be more flattering on taller girls -- it was quite long on me, and I'm 5'5. Otherwise, this jacket is super cute and looks to be high quality. I can definitely picture a different body type looking amazing in it at a trendier work place, for everyday, and DEFINITELY over black for a party.

LOVE THESE!!! So heavy but worth it
I have had my eyes on these earrings since RTR posted them, and was so excited to wear them with a cobalt dress to a wedding this weekend. I got so many compliments on them and they are so fun -- I will probably wear them again and dress them down with jeans and a nice white shirt. I will say, however, that they are bigger than I expected (definitely a statement earring), the pinks are a little more muted, and they are VERY heavy. These are definitely what my mom used to call "four hour" earrings because you are definitely feeling them and I would have taken them off earlier if they weren't so perfect.

Gorgeous color dress, great concept but the slit is SOOO high!
I was so so looking forward to wearing this dress because of the gorgeous color and fun design. However, I ended up not being able to wear it because when I put it on, the slit literally went all the way up to my crotch. It was not cute and definitely not appropriate for a wedding. I am not a tall girl -- I'm 5'5, although I will give the dress the benefit of the doubt and say that I am mostly legs and no torso, with extra-long thighs, so maybe that's the problem. But there was just no way I could wear this in public. It otherwise runs true to size, maybe a little big -- I'm very busty and it zipped easily, so if you're small-busted I would perhaps size down. If you have shorter legs or are very petite, this dress may work for you. But otherwise I would pass on this one.

Really cute dress! Runs a bit big.
I bought this dress during RTR's clearance sale, and I'm so glad I did. The material is a little different than I was expecting, but it's well constructed and the embroidery is really unique. I'm 5'5 and it hits mid-thigh, and is perfect for weekends with sandals and can probably even be made work-appropriate with a blazer or cardigan. It could also likely be dressed up with a fun pair of heels, especially if you did a pop of color to match the embroidery. The back-cut out is also really cute. I will say that I wish I had gone a size down from my usual size, because I think it overall runs a little big and it's hard to alter / pin because of the embroidery. I have an hourglass shape and my bust makes it about impossible to size down (32F or 30G), but I DEFINITELY could have gone for a 6 in this one as I have at least an inch or two all the way around and still have the dress fit like a shift. If you're renting, I would definitely get one of your typical size and one size smaller as back up, especially if you're petite.

When they say it runs large, they're not joking!
This is a gorgeous dress, but unfortunately I was not able to wear it. I am usually between an 8 and 10 but recently lost some weight so I ordered a 6 and 8. However, both were still too big -- I definitely could have gone down to a 4! This is saying something because I am very busty (32DDD or 32G), and still felt the dress was more than big enough up top. The 6 mostly fit well, but it wasn't quite tight enough to "hold everything in" but still too tight to wear spanx without it being obvious. However, it is a gorgeous dress -- stunning color! -- with nice, thick material that would be perfect for us curvy girls. I think it might be hard for people with smaller chest, but this could be cured by wearing a padded strappless bra. It'd be great for a more formal date night or a wedding.

Great dress for day or night!
This was not my first pick, but after my first dress was unavailable, RTR sent this one to me, and I am glad they did! This is an adorable dress, and would definitely be perfect for work and transition seamlessly to night. I wore it with statement earrings and dressed it up for a Christmas concert with my significant other's family. I would say that the size is pretty TTS, but perhaps a little big. If you're between sizes, I would order your true size and go one down for backup. I was worried about the overall cut / ruffles making me look bigger than I am, especially since I have an extremely short waist, but that wasn't a problem at all. Great dress -- the only thing that could make it better is pockets!

Gorgeous Dress, but runs big and not for the short waisted.
So this is an absolutely gorgeous dress but it is NOT for short waisted women, and it is very large up top. I still rated it five stars because I think on the right person it would be perfect. However, it took quite a bit of dress tape and safety pins to make it work for me, and I still wasn't entirely happy with the look (that said, I got compliments all night on it, so it may have just been me). I had read the reviews that it was big in the bust and to size down but had somewhat disregarded them as a 34DDD, but they were not joking -- it was still really big on me. The hips/stomach runs perhaps a little big, so as a typical size 8, I wish that I had ordered the six for backup (but still would have had issues with gapping because of the waist). I recommend this for long-torsoed girls and would recommend anyone that rents it to invest in some hem tape because of how large the chest tends to run.

RENT THIS DRESS! Esp. flattering for hourglass figures.
I have been looking at this dress for forever, but was hesitant to rent it since I am big-busted with a short waist and carry a little extra weight in my stomach, so the tight style / non-adjustable straps made me nervous. About a thousand spin classes finally made me confident enough to rent it for a gala, and now it is probably my favorite rental EVER. The color, thigh-high slits, and back of the dress are stunning, and I got so many compliments all night! It's definitely tight, but cut in a flattering way if you're self conscious about your stomach. I think it runs TTS, but order a size bigger if you're nervous. I'm also big busted (34E) and found that the fabric was thick and tight enough / the lined back gave me enough support that I was confident to go totally braless (which is rare). I think this dress could be harder for smaller-busted girls as it was definitely right for me. As an added bonus, it is SO comfortable, even with a sit-down dinner, and I felt stunning. If you're on the fence, go for it! I'll be renting this one again.

Classy and comfy!
I had some reservations but ultimately I was so glad that I rented this dress. I got SO many compliments from both men and women. I think it runs pretty true to size. More details on fit: I am busty (34DD+) with a really short waist, so I was worried about fit – I tend to have most of my clothes tailored because of my weird proportions. However, this dress fit really well aside from a little unavoidable 'gapping' in the back because of my chest, and that was easily fixed with dress tape. The pockets are great and comfortably fit phone + wallet without awkwardly flaring out (as dress pockets sometimes do). I thought the sleeves were fine, but if you have bigger arms, I could see that being an issue. Definitely a heavier material so I would not recommend for an outdoor event if it's above 75 or so.

I loved this dress on the website and ordered a 6R. I normally wear a 6 or 8, but ordered another dress as my backup because of a special RTR was having at that time. I ended up wearing the backup for several reasons. I found this dress was quite small - ESPECIALLY in the chest area. I'm a 34DD/DDD and could not go out in public in that size without the serious risk of a wardrobe malfunction. It was just NOT flattering -- side boob spilling out everywhere. In addition, the dress was pretty short - I could have worn flats with it, but heels were out of the question. However, it did look like it would be gorgeous on someone else and the ruching is great for hiding the stomach if you're looking for that. Just keep in mind that if you have a bigger chest, you should go up at least one size. I'm not even sure if the 8R would have fit me.

This dress is AMAZING, especially for your curvy ladies out there. I am a 34DD/34DDD so I have a hard time finding dresses that are tight-enough not to make me look bigger than I am but still comfortable (and not obscene re: cleavage). This fabric of this dress is very forgiving and the color is BEAUTIFUL, even better in person than it looks on the website and photographs really well. It was originally my back-up dress and I ended up wearing it because of the stunning color and comfortable fit. You can also wear a real bra with it!! I did find it a little short - I'm 5'5 and ended up wearing flats instead of heels because it was too short with any type of heel. I didn't mind at all since I was going to a ball and wanted to dance, but if you want to do heels keep that in mind! It's also a heavier material so I think it would be too warm for any type of spring or summer event if you were going to spend time outside, but it was perfect for winter.
