This dress most definitely runs large. I have put on quite a bit of weight over the last two years, and most dresses I wear are now a size 6, but in this dress I was able to squeeze into then2. The 4 was more comfortable in the waist (the black band doesn't stretch), but the shoulders were slightly too large. I managed to make the 2 work, mostly because of the full skirt hid my muffin top. I was able to go braless because the top fit snug enough. The skirt is nice and light and has pockets, which is always a plus! I really liked this dress, I would wear it again.

This dress is AH-MAZ-ING! I wore it to a New Year's Eve wedding. It was the perfect length for me (I'm petite, but I hate really short dresses. This came to mid thigh). It was lined, so not scratchy. It was a comfortable weight to keep me warm, but not too hot to dance in. The material was so unique; it seemed to be a black dress with gold painted all over it, and the shine comes from clear micro sequins all over the whole thing. It was just awesome. It wasn't too tight and had comfortable breathing room on my stomach, but highlighted my hips and butt nicely. A woman told me in the restroom she had been admiring my dress all night, and all my friends said I looked radiant! I really loved this dress, all in all, my favorite RTR order ever!

So this dress is beautiful. But I shouldn't have worn it. I have finally have to face the music that shift dresses and sheaths look awful on my body type. I and just too curvy in the butt area, and it makes dresses pucker in unflattering places. This dress is not meant for anyone with hips or a little tummy. I have some excess weight around my middle, but not truly as much as this dress made me look like I had. I really thought it was so pretty though, on the right person it would have been 5 stars. I almost sent both the dresses and my back up back to RTR because everything I rented fit so badly, but then I would have had nothing to wear to this wedding. So I settled for this. It's well made, and the beading around the neck line is much more 3-dimensional than I expected, but it didn't bother me. Either size up a lot if you are curvy in this dress (but then it will probably be baggy else where), or pick something else.

This dress was beautiful in person. I had been dying to get either the orange or blue version of this dress for a very long time. I was afraid the shape would be too baggy, but decided to just go for it. All the other reviewers said it's too tight in the chest. I ignored all their good advice and rented it anyway. I got a 0 and a 2, and I could wear neither. Even if I had gotten a 4 and the top had fit better, then the length would have been too long. I think this dress probably works best on very tall straight and narrow body types, with little to no chests. I do wish I could have worn it though, the fabric was a dream!

I rented the 2 and 4 for a LBD night at a friends bachelorette party and ended up wearing the 4, the two was just entirely too tight. It was seriously low cut. I am fairly flat chested and I'm not sure if that was an advantage or disadvantage with this dress. It was super form fitting, and the ruching helped hide my tummy, but I wore some body slimming undergarments anyway. I was a bit self conscious in this dress, but given the fact that it was a bachelorette party, it was ok to be a bit revealing. All in all a nice dress, lacked a little wow factor, but well made and a nice material.

This dress came as a complete surprise, since I never actually reserved it. RTR sent it as a last minute substitute because the yellow ML dress I had ordered in a second size became unavailable at the last minute. This dress was a very similar color. I was very scared of the style at first. I always loved the Nah Khan dresses on the models, but worried they would look silly and short and fluffy on me. Well, here was my chance to try one; but in a 0?? I was doubtful. I am not usually a 0, because I'm short and kind of plump. But lo and behold, this dress fit like a glove! The fitted waist hit me right at my natural waist, the length was perfect, and it actually balanced my shape beautifully. I didn't have to worry about sucking it in all night long, and the sleeves are comfortable and unrestrictive. The color was a beautiful golden yellow. I got so many compliments that it was such "cute" dress. I felt like a somewhat sexy pageant girl, and I loved every second!! The only reason I think it runs large is that I normally would never fit in a 0. A wonderful, unique and well made dress, no other wedding guests wore anything like it! I can't wait to get more Nah Khan dresses again!!

When I reserved this dress, my preferred sizes of 2 and 4 were not both available. I selected the 0 and 4 and was keeping my fingers crossed that it ether ran large so I would fit into the 0, or small so that the 4 would fit. However, the day my order had shipped, it included this dress in a 4, and a completely different dress in a 0. I guess at the last minute, my 0 became unavailable. As a second option, RTR sent me the Nah Khan Forsyth dress. I have loved the Nah Khan dresses with their tool under layers, but never reserved one for fear of looking like a cupcake. Although this was an unexpected change of plans, it kinda worked in my favor. I essentially got a $100 dress for $85, and without being charged the additional $32.50 you normally have to pay for choosing a second style. When the dresses came, unfortunately this dress was just too loose in the bust; you could see straight down the front no matter what bra I wore. I have no complaints however about the quality of the dress. It was in perfect condition, and would have worn it if it hadn't been just slightly too big. A size 2 would have been perfect.

.....but maybe on someone taller. I have a short torso which led to the fabric bulging a bit in the back. It was a great length over all, but I kept pulling it down to make the bulge go away. Very soft and pretty fabric, flowed nicely, and the colors were gorgeous! Probably wouldn't rent it again, but I think it would be amazing on someone with a longer torso.

This dress was a bit of a tough one. I felt the 2 was borderline too tight, but the 4 was much too big. If a 3 existed, that would have been the one for me. Pros: the color is gorgeous, lace was in great condition, it had pockets, and you can wear a standard bra. The cons: very static-y under layer, rode up a lot when I sat down, and the fitted waist, which came just a few inches below my chest, was very snug. I'm pretty bottom heavy, and I felt like this kinda made my butt look bigger (a plus for some people, but I don't really need a bigger butt). It also gave me a little bit of a front pouch that made me feel a little pregnant, but it wasn't nearly as bad in the 2 as it was in the 4. It wasn't a bad dress, but it wasn't the best thing I've rented either: I think this is better for straight and narrow types. I did get some compliments on it though!

First thing about this dress is the beautiful rich forest green color. It is stunning. Secondly, the lace details are gorgeous, the neckline and hem are scalloped. The pockets are totally clutch, and the dress zips up effortlessly with minimal help (Normally with RTR dresses, my husband has to get me in the dress, and he always comments on the dresses having difficult zippers.). I am extremely petite, and I wore the 4 instead of the 2, because the sleeves were a little too tight on my arms. This made the length much longer on me than on the models photo, but it was very cold out and I didn't mind the extra length. You would probably need a strapless or Nubra, but I just didn't wear anything. I got quite a few compliments on this dress, and I would recommend it for any body type.

When I first received this dress, I have to admit that my first impression wasn't great. I thought the fabric looked cheap and informal. I wore it anyway to a wedding, and I like it better in pictures than in person. Lucky for me, I am flat chested enough that I didn't need to wear any bra, so I was comfortable. I rented this as the back up dress for my bachelorette party, but I didn't end up wearing it all. I think I rented a 4 because the 2 wasn't available and I was practically swimming in it. My only regret is not contacting RTR when I knew I wasn't going to use it because I know I could have gotten a store credit. I just didn't have time between when I got the dress and when I needed to use it. I will say that it is a very fun party dress, it would have made for a great night in Las Vegas on the right body type.

I wore this to my bridal shower and everyone loved it! I will admit that the fabric was not quite what it appears in the photo. I was expecting something softer, but this material was a little stiffer (even though it did have a little stretch), and it almost felt a little like corduroy. Everyone loved the peplum shape, which I was a little nervous about, but decided once it was on, it made my waist look a little narrower (I like to think!). I wore this for my bridal shower, and it was a huge it! No one could believe that my entire ensemble was rented! The necklace was just what I was expecting for size. The only con was that when I received it, one of the rhinestones had fallen out. Luckily it was in the box, so I crazy glued it back on. I would say that if I had paid full retail price for this necklace, I would have been extremely disappointed that pieces were falling off it. But, I still wore it, so no harm done. I wore this to my friends rehearsal dinner. I took this photo when I was trying the dress on when I received my RTR package. This was my first RTR order. I had tried on the 0 first, and then the 2, but the 2 was too big in the shoulders for me. I found the product details helpful when choosing this dress, because as you can see in the second photo, I'm extremely bottom heavy. This hugged my shap nicely but had enough stretch to make sitting comfortably. I wore this with Spanx but if I had to do it again, I wouldn't, because the folds and draping of the dress are forgiving enough. You definitely need someone to zip you into the dress, but that's ok. The only complaint I would have is that arm moment was a little limited due to the way the cap sleeve lays, but it's not a big deal if you aren't planning to be doing the YMCA. All in all I would recommend it to any petite hourglass or pear shapes. Ladies with larger busts may have an issue.
