This dress is very pretty.  You can't tell from the picture but it has a little shimmer to it.  I wore this when I was about 145lbs.  It fit great.

I wore this Dress to my friends wedding in Florida. It was perfect. Comfortable and fit is true to size. Not much stretch though.

Seriously loved this dress!! The beading and fabric make it much dressier than most Lilly shifts, but it was comfortable and classic. Fit true to size and very comfortable to dance in! Received compliments all night - the fabric really makes it stand out! Would definitely rent again...in fact, I wish I just owned it!!

I probably could have fit the 8, but not comfortably. I'm 5'4", 7 months post-partum and currently 151 pounds. Not my ideal body weight, but I still felt beautiful and comfortable in this dress at a size 10. It was lovelier in person than in the pictures. The silver thread and the beading/stones around the neckline picked up and reflected light in a stunning way. My one complaint is that the beading at the neckline was so heavy and the fabric so soft that the neckline would flip around a lot. I do not have body tape or fabric tape to keep the neckline in place, so I let it flip. It was still ok, but definitely not ideal. 

I loved this dress! The material was heavy enough that it didn't wrinkle but still lightweight and comfortable for a July wedding! The great thing about renting Lilly's is that once you know your size, you can never go wrong with her dresses. Fit is consistent and true to size. One of my favorite rentals to date. 

Fit true to size- showed cleavage but not too much. A lot of people asked where I got my dress. Only annoying thing was the beaded collar sometimes flipped inward due to its weight- not much you can do about that though unless you stick it to your chest!

I rented the dress for my daughter's sweet 16. It was a perfect "hip mom" with glamor and because I my curves it turned out to be pretty sexy. I normally wear a 10 and with it being called a shift dress I thought it was more loose but it was pretty snug. I'm a 34 DDD. So I'd say if you have curves to go a size up and get a little more space to move. 

The dress was absolutely beautiful. I changed my order from a 4 & 6 to a 2 & 4 because of the other reviews. I'm very glad I did. The 2 was just a little tight around the chest, but fit great around my mid-section, whereas the 4 was just a little too big. Very beautiful dress and I received so many compliments about it! 

This is a beauty by Lilly and I am glad I rented it. The picture shown was the size 4 but I ended up changing into the 6 during cocktail hour( we were staying at the venue)  the 6 gave me a little more room. Both fit great but I am not one to wear very fitting outfits. The neckline is gorgeous and this is a steal if you want to wear Lilly but don't want to pay full price!

Beautiful dress! Loved the color and the material, it was very flattering and formal but also comfortable! I got so many compliments on this dress. This was my first time doing Rent the Runway and I will definitely be doing it again. I should have gotten the zero, the 2 was a little big for me through the sides and stomach area, but it worked out great. 

Wore this for my Sunday funday bridal brunch/bachelorette party. It made me feel like a mermaid. Such a gorgeous dress and got soooo many compliments! Only rented the 4 and fit true to size. It fit perfectly!

I wore this for family photos then my son's baptism. It was great for both occasions and photographs very well. It's a little loose around the midsection but it didn't bother me.

Typically I wear a 6, but I always order the 4 and 6.  In this dress, the 4 fit much better than the 6 without being too tight.  I saw other reviews said the arm holes were tight, but I didn't find that to be the case.  The color is more aqua than the professional photos show.  However, that was evident in the other reviewers photos.  Perfect be achy color, but with the silver sparkle it seemed a little more formal as it needed to be for my event.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress. It has the perfect amount of shine. The beading on top seemed very, very easily damaged. 

This was a beautiful dress. I normally wear a 6 which fit great! I chose to wear the 8 because it added a little more length that I found appropriate for the wedding. Just a gorgeous dress with many, many compliments. I started out wearing with heels, later in the evening switched to sparkle flip flops and still gorgeous!

I loved how this Lilly fit! I got so many compliments! I was afraid that even the 2 would be too long on me but it was just the right length.

This dress fit beautifully, even with a smaller waist and curvy hips! It hugged all the right places and was very comfortable, I even kept it on for a night out on the town!! I would definitely recommend this dress rental to my friends! I was complimented on it all day and even had people looking at RTR for the first time at the shower they were so intrigued by it! Great experience for my second RTR and I will be using this site again soon!

Fit perfectly, very comfortable and the process was easy. My daughter told me, "You look like a grown up Elsa." My first experience with RTR, and I will definitely do this again.

I rented this dress for honeymoon photos in Disney.  The dress was snug around my hips, but fit well.  The attached rhinestones I thought were silver, but they were actually clear.  I had no disappointments with this dress! 

I ordered a 4 and 6 based on the reviews and my large hips. The size 4 was a bit loose and long for my petite frame. The material was also somewhat worn and fraying, and not as sturdy as I was hoping for. I would've liked to size down to a 2. However, the dress worked well overall and I got a ton of compliments on it. I'd recommend it for a range of spring/summer events!

This was my first RTR experience, and I selected this dress for an April wedding. I intended to order a 6 with a 4 as a backup however I waited too long to book and was only able to get the 4. This ended up being ok as the dress runs a tad large which made for a perfect fit on me. I have a mostly athletic build but am larger up top, and this dress was pretty perfect. It was tight in the bust but not uncomfortable and fit well through the rest of the body. I was very pleased with the color, style, and fit and I thought it looked just as pictured online. I was comfortable and received many compliments on the dress throughout the evening. I paired it with nude slightly shimmery pumps, gold accessories, light pink/gold earrings, and a white cardigan as a coverup. I was thrilled with my first RTR experience and loved this dress. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

This dress was SO flattering! It has a great shape and the fabric was thick and gracious. It was comfortable to dance  in too! I selected "runs large" because I haven't worn a size 6 since 2007. After reading some of the other reviews, I ordered a 6 and an 8 (as opposed to 8 and a 10). When I zipped up that size 6, it definitely put an extra pep in my step! My husband called this my "frozen" dress, but the silver/ice blue combo was perfect for a spring wedding. And the jewels at the neckline were stunning! Loads of compliments all night! 

Perfect for a summer wedding or dressy event. The dress sparkles and fits very nicely. I usually wear between a size two and four, but opted to go with the two for a more form fitted look. I had no issues with it and absolutely would recommend this dress to anyone. You'll get lots of compliments!

It fit in all the right places and allowed me to move and enjoy my evening...a GREAT dress for any occasion! 


I wore this dress to an outdoor wedding in April and loved it! It was not too short and not too tight-- very flattering. It was my first RTR and I cannot wait to rent again! 

Thank goodness for the always wonderful customer service! I have recently lost weight for my wedding and rented a 10&8 not realizing how many dress sizes I was down. They did not have a 6 available, so I went for the 4 and it worked! Both the 8&4 fit in a way that my bra showed around the arm holes, but not to a point I was self conscious at all. The 4 was a little tight around the bust (I'm a 34/36DD) but not uncomfortable or smushed at all! Definitely agree with the other reviews that say it doesn't appear the same in person as it does photographed - I think in person it's better! No need for big jewelry with this one; the beading at the neckline is chunky and fun and definitely does the trick. Great for a work gala - professional length and cut but has an awesome wow factor. I didn't want to return this one! If you've been checking this one out - rent it and enjoy!!

Pictures do not give this dress justice. The rhinestone collar and metallic hues make the dress pop; however, it is still and classic.  Worn to my 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' themed bridal shower. Lots of compliments. I wore the xs(0) and it was still a little big in the waist and underarm area. 

This was my second choice, but it was a great dress for my white coat ceremony. I had to walk across the stage to receive my coat, and because of the color my family definitely couldn't miss me! The beading is very heavy, so I had to fix the collar multiple times. It's also very bright and mermaid-like. I probably won't choose this dress again, but I'm happy I wore it for this occasion. 

I ordered a size 6 and 8.  I wear a size 6/8 jeans and I am a 32DD with an athletic body shape.  The size 6 was just an inch too small on my hips but fit perfect on the top.  The size 8 gave me more room in the hips so the dress fell right but was just a little too big in the arm pits but still fit good and looked great! It was really pretty and I got lots of compliments on it! It just enough glam!   

I wore this dress to a seaside wedding and it was perfect! I got many compliments. I loved the color and accent bling on the top. I thought the dress fit true to size.

Fit perfect, was comfortable and the color was AMAZING with silver shimmer running through the spa blue color.  It also had its own bling around the cleavage and neckline so necklace is not necessary.  Found the perfect silver sparkly bling shoes and a bracelet and it was complete.  I want to buy this dress now!!!!!

I wore this dress for my Bridal Shower and received compliments from every guest there!! The dress is gorgeous!! (There was a fiesta theme which is why I'm also wearing a sombrero, lol). The dress runs a little large, but then again, any Lilly dress I've worn runs a little large. I am so sad to send this dress back. It's perfect!!

LOVE this dress! The fit is incredibly forgiving- I'm normally a 6/8 and the 4 fit without being tight. I love that this dress  is elegant and sparkly! The color is beautiful. 

This dress was a huge hit at my cousins wedding!  I was a little skeptical at first but when I received the dress in the mail it was more than I could have asked for. This was my first RTR experience and I will definitely be doing it again. The color was amazing in person and the pattern was subtle.  I couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. 

I was nervous to rent this dress as I had no idea how big I would be at 34 weeks (8.5 months) pregnant. I would normally wear a 0 or 2 in a shift dress but as a growing pregnant gal, I knew I would need to go up multiple sizes. The 6 fit great but was definitely snug. The 6 made it fit more "body con" and the 8 would have been more true "shift dress". With that being said, the color and quality of this dress was AMAZING! Some mentioned it had too much bling. Not in my mind! The ice-y blue and silver pattern (sort of a zebra pattern) was beautiful and the neckline sparkle made the dress really stand out. I received so many compliments and the color matched my shower theme perfectly. 

It is true to size, very airy though a little tight by the breast if you are a big busty. I'm a 36C and it felt a little tight on a 2 and super loose on a 4 but that's a regular problem I have with a lot of dresses. The only con I have for the dress is that you need to make sure your bra straps stay inside. The front straps of the dress are narrower than the back and the straps of my bra kept showing, Make sure to criss-cross the straps of your bra. 

I loved renting this dress for an evening summer wedding! The ice blue color was beautiful and the  sheen and beading was great and I didn't need jewelry except earring. The actual fabric of the dress was much shinier than it appears in the picture so if you're not looking for that beware! For me it was perfect. The size was very true to fit for me. Hugged at the hips and chest but in a good way! I have a larger chest and liked the way the dress filled out without being too revealing. If you're looking for a nice cocktail dress that stands out from the crowd this is your bet!
