I'm 4th from the right... yea. It ran a liiittle snug (barely), but I was able to do everything I normally would have and I was comfortable. I usually wear an 8-10, and had to go with the 10. I'm wide hipped, broad shouldered, barrel chested, and I'm not well endowed, but seriously- you do not need a lot to work with to wear this dress. Throw in a bombshell VS bra if you're like me and this dress is perfect (I know it doesn't look like it in this picture, but trust me it's all the dress + VS combo ). Hugs the curves but doesn't make them look bigger!

The dress fits wonderfully! If you have an hourglass figure, rent this dress! It gives you lots of cleavage, and it accentuates all the right curves!

This was my first RTR purchase and I couldn't be more impressed! The dress was perfect for my friend's bachelorette party. I would recommend sizing up for your back up if you're curvy. I was able to squeeze into my usual size but it was super snug on my hips and butt. 

I ordered the 2 and the 4, and ended up wearing the 4.  I think I could have worn the 2 if I decided to not wear a bra (which you could definitely do in this dress - thick material and good support), so if you are in between sizes I would recommend sizing up.  The dress gives you a very classic silhouette, and overall worked really well for the event I was attending.  I would recommend it.

The dress fit a little snug in the chest and I'm not that large... Just put the girls on display more than I intended but it was ok. The folds are amazing - they conceal waist and hip areas and also left room to eat dinner with no issues.. Very good :) all in all, great dress!!

I'm about 5'3"-5'4" and the dress was longer than expected, but I wore heels and that balanced it out. The straps were also a bit long- don't count on being able to wear a bra with this (I wore a stick-on) because the dress falls pretty low. I ADORED this dress and got a ton of compliments!

I wore a normal bra and didn't need any fashion tape to keep the dress in place. I'm 5'3" and 115 lbs. I wore the 0 but I could have worn the 2 as well. The 0 fit better but any differences were minor. 

All in all, Great dress! It was comfortable and I got lots of compliments! I really can't remember anything negative about it.

I rented this dress for a date and it is the perfect LBD!!! Fits true to size and the fabric has a nice ruching effect to it so as to hide any belly issues. I will most likely rent this one again! 5 stars for sure...

Fits true to size, I have a larger chest so the heart shaped neckline was a little more revealing that it would be on others. It is extremely comfortable. 

I rented this dress to wear as part of an eighties costume--it was perfect! The dress hugs your body in all the right places, and the fabric is stretchy/comfortable. Adorable dress for a night out!

This dress is elegant, sophisticated and very figure flattering, I felt so sexy and attractive. My date loved it!!! It was a total hit!

Dress was a perfect fit, I could even wear a regular bra which was a major plus for me! It was a nice thick, stretchy fabric and was very comfortable to dance in. The neckline and ruching made it a unique, classy LBD. Really the only con was that it rode up a little and the slip on the inside also rode up and got bunched up from time to time. Other than that it was great, I got a lot of compliments on it throughout the night.

Loved this dress! Had free bday credit from RTR so ordered it just for a fun date night. Ran a little small but I think just because it's meant to be fitted. Loved the top especially. I've worn size 2/4 dresses from this site but definitely wouldn't have wanted to go smaller than a 6 for this.

This dress was absolutely fabulous. The neckline is extremely flattering, and the dress was comfortable enough to enjoy a night of swing dancing! This is the perfect LBD. Wish I could have bought it instead of renting it!

Loved wearing this dress! It was perfect for a Bachelorette Party in Vegas.  I used some skin tape to secure the top, and even though I wasn't able to wear a bra, it wasn't a problem.  

Having discovered Rent the Runway has changed the way I will get ready for special occasions from now on.  Admittedly a little skeptical at first, I trusted the many positive reviews I had read.  From the available selection, with all of the helpful comments, to the placing of the order, to delivery and return packaging and instructions, this was a very pleasant and easy experience.  I wore this to a holiday office party and received many, many compliments from the time I stepped on the elevator.  The dress was comfortable and easy to move about in.  I went up a size based on all of the comments that suggested doing so and I'm glad I did.  I will definitely be a returning customer.  

This dress looked fantastic and was great for the formal I attended! The dress is tight but i expected that. I was able to wear my usual size of a 2, and i got a 4 as my backup. This dress is amazing!

If you are busty you may want to order a size up for your second size. I loved it and didn't have to wear spanx just regular panties and bra. It's a great little black dress super feminine.  Reminds me of a dress a bombshell would wear - like Marilyn Monroe or Sophia Loren.

We went out to dinner for my birthday and to a private club to meet friends.  Everyone raved at how I looked.  Thank you for everyone that posted their picture.  I was a bit shy to rent from just the picture of the model but seeing in on real women was what made my decision.  

This dress was perfect for a rehearsal dinner. It fit like a glove. I took the advice from other users to order a size bigger than what you would usually wear, and I DEFINITELY agree. I usually wear a small-medium or a 4, and I ended up wearing the 6. I love it because I don't usually wear tight things, but this dress was tight in all the right places, and the material over the slip of the dress covers any problem areas that anyone might worry about. I would definitely recommend this dress, I got compliments all night! 

I'm not one to wear form-fitting dresses. I have a little "pooch" if you will, so this dress was definitely out of my comfort zone.  After reading all of the reviews, most of the women stated that the rouching of the dress was very flattering and covered up all the right places... THANKFULLY the reviews were right, because I felt amazing in this little number! i paired the dress with a JCrew necklace, some strappy black pumps and a black Tory Burch clutch! Perfect night!

As I noticed with all the other reviews, this dress did run small. I wore one size up from my normal size and it was perfect - fitted but not suctioned to me, flattering, and comfortable. I received compliments all night! 

This dress looks much better in person than it does on the model. I wore the 0 and it fit perfectly! The only issue was the zipper was very tough. You have to have someone else zip the dress for you. 

Classic LBD, hugs your curves in all the right places, easy to dance in. 

This dress was so flattering! I wore it to a concert, and it turned a lot of heads! I would absolutely rent this again! It's fitted, but textured perfectly to highlight your assets and hide imperfections. I am 5'3", 125, 32C, and I wore a 2 comfortably.

At first I wasn't sure about this dress because it seemed a little unassuming and I wanted something special for my birthday. Then I tried it on and oh my good lord....it was perfection!! You will not be disappointed or regret renting this dress. I don't just want to rent this dress again; I want to own it! I've never felt more beautiful. No complaints whatsoever. 

This dress is form fitted and flattering! I wore it for a bachelorette party at the beach and felt great in it. It could easily be dressed up or down depending on accessories. I would only caution someone with very sculpted arms when renting this dress because I felt a little self conscious about that while wearing...it might have been because I'm not used to wearing a dress with wider straps.

I wore the Size 2 and it fit well....the Size 0 was too small so I would say this dress runs TTS or slightly small.

This dress was perfect. Since I am pear-shaped, I normal don't wear dresses that are so fitted, but the fabric was sturdy, so I felt comfortable in it. I went with the 4 just because I felt like I would get uncomfortable in the 2 after eating and drinking. That was the best choice- I felt so pretty and fancy!

This is a beautiful LBD! I wore this to my friend's bachelorette party. The ruching is really flattering and the cut is classic. I liked the thick straps and sweetheart neckline. Also, I'm 5'11" and the dress was about mid-thigh on me. The dress does run small, so definitely size up. Enjoy! 

It runs a little small because I'm normally and 8 and wore a 10 but I absolutely loved the dress. I got tons of compliments on it all night. It was perfect because I was able to dress it up with the Kate spade necklace shown in the picture. I would highly recommend this dress. Comfy and pretty. 

OH. EM. GEE. This dress fit like a glove- it was super flattering!! Perfect dress for the club night of my husband's 30th b-day weekend in Vegas. The material is sturdy and thick, with a bit of ruching on the side- so it smooths out a bit of bumps and bulge you may have (darn you brunch buffet!!) 

It is definitely on the sexier side- it's fitted and it did ride up a little through the night. It made my booty look great, and cleavage like whoa. It worked without a bra, but I went with a strapless pushup for a little more lift. 

Fit perfectly! Did wear a bra, but was snug enough that I probably didn't have to. Comfortable!

The dress fit very true to size.  It made my boobs look great!  It'll definitely give you a lot of cleavage, so if you're looking for something modest, this is probably not for you.  The dress was very flattering around the middle because of how the fabric laid.  It gave me a nice shape and I wasn't worried about sucking in my gut all night.  It was the most comfortable I've been in a form fitting dress in a long time!

Loved this dress. Loved that I could wear a normal bra with it. The bottom part of the material on the dress kept coming up when I was dancing so I had to pull it down so it didn't get too short, but other than that it was so comfortable.

Answer me this ladies, why loose 10 lbs when you can rent a dress that will make you look great anyway? This dress was tight fitting but still comfortable. I felt great in it and as usual my boyfriend appreciated that it was low cut. 

This dress was HOT HOT HOT! It had a beautiful fit, very form fitting, but the length came just above the knee, so although the top was very low cut (especially if you are full up there), it did not feel too revealing because of the length of the dress. I loved the cut and the material was very forgiving. I would definitely wear this dress again! I wore a long, chunky necklace and black heels to finish off this dress! 

Tiny bit snug on my rib cage but that is a common issue for me in non stretchy fabrics that fit well everywhere else. It would not work with much in the bust department in this size range! I am broad in the ribs but fairly small bust. Super cute and flattering fit. It was short but I was comfortable. Nice fabric.

Beautiful and sexy! Yet, I would indicate I had a small problem with the bust line. I would have preferred not to wear a bra. Yet, since I do have ittie bitties, I had to cover them with a bra. Unfortunately, I found myself constantly pulling up the bust line.

I am usually a size 4 but wore the size 6.  The 4 was too tight so I opted for the 6 and I felt great all night.

I loved this dress.  It was extremely comfortable and easy to move and sit in.  Unfortunately, the party was cancelled and I did not have the opportunity to wear it out, so I am unsure how the dress feels after a few hours of wear, although I believe it would remain just as comfortable.  I have a small frame and the 0 fit perfectly.  No need for spanx or a bra, although my girls needed some help, so I added a strapless bra.  I would wear this dress in a heart beat for sure!!   (Also, in case anyone was wondering, I had 'bed head' which is the reason for the bow and top hat!  Ha ha!)

I would definitely rent this dress again. I wore this at my girls weekend trip and absolutely loved it! 

I wore this dress to my 20th high school reunion and felt like a million bucks! The fit is small, imo. I typically wear a size 4, and I had to go up to a size 6. The skirt did ride up a bit throughout the night, but I felt amazing in the dress so it was worth the minor hassle. 

I rented this for my birthday party and was not let down. The fit was perfect and comfortable. A very lovely and simple dress.

You guys. This dress. I wore it for date night with the hubs and felt AMAZING! The fabric is stretchy, yet substantial, so it holds you in perfectly and ruches (is that a verb?) beautifully. The cut is super flattering, and plus, you can wear a regular (demi) bra with it! I so LOVE this dress and for sure will be keeping it in my rental list. Rent this dress!

I love this dress so much I wish I owned it. Me being very indecisive about what to wear I thought I'd give RTR a try. I rented this dress for a wedding in the first weekend of September. I had sizes 2 and 4 but went with the 2. This dress is VERY flattering with just the right amount of cleavage. I'm a 32D and the girls weren't showing too much. I wore a bra with this dress which was a win but I did have to pull it up a few times. Would definitely rent again! 

I might even rent it again for a bachelorette party :)  Snug but in a very good way. I didn't have to wear a bra. Slimming, hugs in all the right places--I ordered a 6 and an 8 (my usual size) they both fit well, but I preferred the way the 6 fit. You won't regret this dress.

I loved this dress for my Friends Bachelorette party! It was such a great fit, the material was thick and hid my flaws so I didn't have to wear spanks. It didn't ride up which was nice because I usually have to pull dresses down all night! The top was a little hard to wear my normal bra but my strapless worked fine. I am planning on ordering this again in the future!

This is a fun, tight little black dress. Great for a night out dancing, comfortable to wear & I didn't need a bra. Ideal for someone with A-B cups or possibly C cups but that might be stretching it (so to speak). I'd rent again if I ever want something simple but sexy.

Wore to a NYE wedding. As many other reviewers have noted, the dress beautifully hugs curves. I'm very flat and it accentuated what little chest I have. I sometimes can go between an 8 and a 10 but the 10 was falling off of me and didn't have that same curve-hugging effect. Also, I am very self-conscious about my tummy, and didn't feel it was showing in this dress. I'd definitely rent this again! 

I loved this dress. I typically wear a size 2 or 4 in Nicole Miller but I ordered up and I'm glad I did. My larger chest fit better in the 6. 

(I'm the girl on the right!) I was super nervous since this was my first dress i have ever rented from Rent the Runway but it turned out perfect! I loved the sweetheart neckline and the thicker straps made it look timeless. Because of the thicker straps I was able to wear abnormal bra. Plus I got so many compliments on how HOT I looked that I plan on coming back again soon! 

I rented this dress for my sister's wedding! I wore a size 6, so it was true to size! The fit was fantastic & I got many compliments on the dress! I wore a bra underneath & it was constantly trying to make an appearance though. Was pulling it up all night. Wouldn't recommend for bustier gals. Other than that, it was a perfect dress!

I absolutely loved this dress! I ended up wearing the size 8 to have a little room in the top. The size 6 was a little tight in the chest. Other than having to size up, this dress was amazing! I was comfortable all night and didn't have to deal with feeling uncomfortable after eating dinner. It was easy to dance in too.  I would recommend fashion tape for the straps. Definitely a dress to remember! 

It definitely runs small. I wore full spanx underneath to fit into the 8. It was snug but comfortable once on. Didn't need to wear a bra which is nice and it held the girls up no problem. 

The dress is very sexy, with a plunging neckline. Not too short though--easy enough to sit down in. I loved that I could wear a bra with it! It's a little plain, I typically like something a bit more interesting, but it's a good LBD. Perfect for the #bachelorette weekend. 

I rented this one, highly doubting that it would fit. I'm in pretty good shape, but still have a little extra tummy after two (C section) kids. The ruching worked amazing well; it seemed to hit and cover exactly what needed to be hidden. The fabric was comfortable and really allowed for dance floor movement. It even made it look like I actually have boobs. ;) This is the sexiest I've felt in a looong time!

The neckline was beautiful and the fabric & style perfect for a dress for our anniversary dinner. The middle around the waist bunched a little on me though. It ran small in the shoulders and thighs so I had to wear the 8 instead of the 6. Still it was a great dress- and I liked that the skirt didn't ride up too much constantly like a lot of sheath dresses do. 

This dress hugged every curve on my body and made me feel so sexy. I am very flat chested and it actually made me look like I had some cleavage. The ruching also makes your butt look great. I also loved that I could wear a normal bra with it. It does run a little tight so be prepared for that if  you like your dresses to be somewhat loose fitting. I received so many compliments and was even told that I looked like a "James Bond girl."

I loved this dress! It was very flattering in all the right places and made me feel great about myself. The perfect LBD. The only downside is the low cut top, if you have anything at all up there then you will feel exposed. Other than that it was perfect for my event and I would definitely rent it again!

I wore this to my 10-year high school reunion. There is already a lot of pressure to look good, but this dress made me feel confident. I have gained a little weight, but people told me I look better than I did in high school (and I agreed). I wore a size 10 and it fit perfectly. The dress was sexy, but not slutty. It showed a bit of cleavage, but I was able to wear a normal bra. It was also just the right length so I could still wear spanx and be comfortable (although spanx may not have been necessary). The fabric was thick but it was cool enough to wear in South Florida in July and strappy sandals helped to dress it down a bit. Would definitely recommend and wear again. My boyfriend said I looked so good he wanted to buy the dress for me!

I got this dress for a date night as my free birthday dress and I cousins have been happier.  I was nervous about wearing a tight dress but the other reviews were totally right and the touching hides any flaws you are worried about. It was unbelievably comfortable. I wore the 10 because I wanted the room but I could've wore the 8 if I'd wanted. 

Wore this dress to a fire department installation dinner... I loved the dress super comfy however being big up top was kind of an issue my chest didn't fit in it- I was constantly fixing my top all night and felt super self conscious Bc I felt like my chest was hanging out... Other than that I loved it and am wearing it again to a wedding 

I loved this dress.! The 6 was a little snug, but fit better than the 8. Like other reviews said, if you are top heavy you will have a lot of cleavage. I'm curvy and there was enough stretch in the dress for me to feel comfortable eating and drinking. The only issue was a small hole on the side of the dress. It was barely noticeable since the dress is black and has ruching, but my boyfriend noticed it and pointed it out. Other than that I had a great experience!



This was a great dress. I ordered the 8 and 10, and the 10 fit perfectly. My measurements are about 38", 29", 40". The only place it was nearly too small was the chest. There was only just enough fabric to keep my 36D/38C chest in. But, it worked, and did not (could not) wear a bra, but was not indecent. Honestly, with the modest length, and black color, the cleavage part actually worked. Not to mention that it was skin-tight in the best way- a thicker material with ruching that held everything in and camouflaged any trouble spots... I wore spanx, but probably could have gotten away without any. Would maybe not wear this to a family wedding around grandma, but my husband and friends loved it!
Anyway, it was a gorgeous dress that I felt great in. Super easy to wear, very glamorous.

This dress fit perfectly. I am petite & normally wear a 2 or 4 in petite, so I ordered the 4 with a back up 2 size. The 4 fit so well that I never tried on the alternate size. I was worried it might be too long, but the length was also great, hitting just above the knee. Gorgeous & elegant!
